Suggestion for a Forum

Noting the recent announcement and the increasing amount of threads dedicated to the issue (some I've made myself), I'd like to suggest possibly putting up a forum under the General Sexiness board where image seeking threads can be put. Not to discredit Caeli's movement of them to Adult Socializing, but with what I've observed they don't quite seem to fit in with all the forum games.

I think the other members might like it if they know exactly where to go for these threads or how they can avoid them completely if they annoy them. Things such as 'help me find a new avatar/signature' threads could be put there as well.  :-)

Edits: I didn't think about it before, but would another forum cost too much?  :-\

Adding a new forum (board) to E, costs nothing..it's just a matter of well...adding it.

I know I kinda started the trend of "Gimme pics of...", but really...everyone could just use the wiki to house all of these pics...no?

So, question....Wiki Admins...can I move my entire werewolf album into wiki and associate it with my wiki page?  Kinda like how to photo album was moved.  I don't mind doing it all myself as long as someone tells me how  ;D

I rather like the idea of them on a separate board.  That way I don't have to go to the wiki to see the various collections of pictures; not to mention that I'm avoiding trying to learn how to change/edit on the wiki though I suppose I'll have to learn eventually.

"With Images, please make sure that you are: a) using the image for some Elliquiy related purpose and b) that the image is in fact needed. As the old front page once said, Elluiki is not meant as a dump for your porn collection. Thanks, the Management."

I was going to color-highlight for emphasis, before I realized that the whole thing applied to the suggestion. :-) But if you want a place to store your personal _____ collection, that's what your local hard drive and externals are for.

I don't see how they could be more out of place in the Adult Socializing board than they were in the Good & Cuddly board, except that now people don't feel like they're walking into a porn magazine when they walk into the G&C; at least, all the images are in a more clearly-marked adult section of the site.

E has space and bandwidth, so that isn't a terribly huge concern. But we're hardly in the habit of making sub-boards for every new fad that happens on Elliquiy, and I'm not inclined to make a new sub-board for something that isn't super necessary.

If members want a certain kind of art or are searching for a certain kind of image, it's easy enough to search Adult Socializing. Or, you know... could always use Google.

I've made a new forum for image threads, but the intent is to be a bit broader than that - any media / music / video / picture you find interesting / are looking for that you did not create. It's a subforum of Art Media and Music now and I've moved some of the threads into it.
