A 1920's gangster themed roleplay

This is something I played out a while back, but its been some months since I last had a reply on it, so I thought i would offer it here, and see if anyone is interested.

My character would be part of an illegal time travel operation, staying out of the sight of the law, until our operation is discovered and the authorities come for us. We would use the technology to escape into the past, with my character choosing a point in the 1920's to go back to. The portal could open up in a warehouse containing booze perhaps, where I'm found by the men of someone powerful. Once he sees me, and I prove where I'm from, he decides to keep me as his girl, his constant companion, smart, sexy, good with weapons, and enough knowledge of the future to keep him out of prison, and in business.

Thats the basic idea. If it appeals to anyone, let me know.
