Bit of trivia on this one:  Louis Armstrong is responsible for adding 'Lotte Lenya' to the lyrics of this song (originally composed in German by Kurt Weil).  Lotte Lenya was Weil's wife, and played 'Pirate Jenny' (Jenny Diver) in 'The Three-Penny Opera'.

She also went on to play Rosa Kleb, the Russian agent with the switch-blade shoes in 'From Russia, With Love'.
