Wow Liam Dale!!! You've gotten further than I have.

Yeah... I've been overthinking EVERYTHING!!!

Your Wiki looks fantastic. Good job!

The Green One

Thank you, Revenant!

I have a question, why does a padlock appears at the side of the links I added?

I think that's because they're pointing to HTTPS links. I just took a look at some of mine that are pointing to addresses that start with just HTTP & they show a different icon.

Oh my goodness!!!!!

I DID IT!!!

It isn't fancy by any means (still need to incorporate images and I'm taking baby steps!), but at least I've got a starting point!!!!

Rawr!!

Revenant

Hi there, it's me again!!!

Can you change the sizes of the type in the Wiki?

Either I'm overlooking it; I'm not seeing it; or, it's just not there.

Thank you!!!

The Green One

Hi~

I don't think there's an option, but you can change the size with bbcode

You can, yes, using markup language. As a couple of examples--87% the size of typical text and 187% the size of regular text:

<small style="font-size:87%;">test</small>

<small style="font-size:187%;">test</small>

You can see how it looks on the test page I use to test wiki code.

Revenant

I think you're right, Liam Dale.

Oh well!!

Most welcome, glad I could help. : )

Or for a less precise, but simpler, sizing (within the Wiki), you can use.

<font size=1>Your Text</font>
<font size=2>Your Text</font>
<font size=3>Your Text</font>
<font size=4>Your Text</font>
<font size=5>Your Text</font>
<font size=6>Your Text</font>
<font size=7>Your Text</font>

<font style=georgia size=3>Your text in size 3 font georgia</font>

<font style=georgia color=green size=3>Your text in green size 3 font georgia</font>

Revenant

Gee, it's like I walked into library!!! Look at all this information and choices I have!!!!

Thank you, Geraint!!!

Nymphadora

I'd like to add my thanks to everyone as well. I can see how I can play/improve what I have done as well.

Your wiki is looking great, Revenant! Nice work!

Thank you, Nymphadora!!!

Does the Wiki allow the option to reisze images if they're too big? Or must the image be re-sized and then uploaded again?

Thank you from your Wiki-Enthusiast!!!

The Green One

You can resize the images with this:

[[File:filename|200px|]]

I will add an Elluiki question here, if I may ...

Is there a way to change the background for an image?  Ideally, as part of a frame?  For instance, if I wanted to put a small animated GIF on a dark colored square?

I've figured out how to change the background for text, but all my other searching has been ... unsuccessful.

I do not believe there is any option available to do this within the frame, but you could put the image/gif within a table that has a colored cell:

I don't think I'm advanced enough in wiki-knowledge to go messing with tables. :-)

Thank you though.  I'll keep it in mind for when I've got a better handle on the (easier) stuff and just use a picture that works on the light background.

The code isn't too difficult!  You could copy/paste what I have and just modify it, or let me know what you have in mind, and I can write up the code for you.
