Twisted Disney

Science, as usual, the marvel of the modern world. Making leaps and bounds in genetic science, but also in neural science. So much that people have become to play video games, actually enter into the games, and play as their favorite characters. People have begun to wonder though, if this can be done with video games, what’s to stop it from being done with books? Namely children books. Good ole Disney has asked the question. Why shouldn’t children be able to enter their favorite books, learn valuable life lessons, and be a princess if only for an hour? The answer, they should, and will be able to.

Hiring a team of experts, namely video game experts who happen to know a little about how neurons fire and the science behind it, Disney sets out to make books in which children can enter for one hour. They need only to take a pill, connect the neuron circuits with their parents help of course, and soon they’ll find themselves Peter Pan, flying high above the clouds. At least that’s the general idea. After years of research, working tirelessly at it, the team has created a prototype, ready for the first tests.

The pill, coupled with the circuits, work as a type of scan adapting to the fears, wants, and minds of those within its confines. The team soon finds though, that in children’s books, the computer adapts to adult minds, twisting things, though staying within the confines of the story, pushing them to complete it, or get as far as possible within an hour, though an hour of real life time happens to be days within the story.

The testers have drawn a number, picking out their story, as well as the character of that story that they would like to play. Entering their number into the computer it will be chosen, when the time is right. The numbers going from 1-10, even though there are only four of them. Outside the story they have chosen though, each tester has no control over which character they might end up as. Nor do they know which story, or where at in the story, they might end up.

Notes:
*I’ve asked AMessofADreamer to help with this roleplay. Her word goes!

*In RL you will be choosing each and every character  IC it will seem as if your characters have only chosen 1 in which they will get to play.

*As the games change who’s ever story we are in will take control. Effectively making them the GM of that particular story.

*The computer changes, twisting the game to adhere to each individual mind. Be it twisted, fluffy, sexual etc.

*There might be a posting order depending on the players in which we accumulate.

*Once we‘ve decided on which stories to play, AMessofADreamer and I will compile a list of playable characters, appropriate for each story.
