Ok here is the challenge.  lets see how many song titles we can post that have a girls name in it.
Rules:
1 must post 5 at a time. (will aid in the counting)
2 no repeats.
3 unless obvious, artist or group who did the song.

My entries are all Beatles songs
Dear Prudence
Martha My Dear
Julia
Sexy Sadie
Dizzy Miss Lizzie
"And in the end
The love you take
Is equal to the love you make."

My On/Off's

Aysleen

Alison - Elvis Costello
Diana - Paul Anka
Delilah - Tom Jones
Angie - Rolling Stones
Annie's Song - John Denver

* I can't explain myself, I'm afraid, Sir, because I'm not myself you see.
*We're all mad here.
* If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is,
because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be.
And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?
*Curiouser and curiouser.

I'm interpreting the rules loosely.  Just because these are the sorts of things that I thought of right away...
But if the answer to these questions is no, just throw this out ;)

Different titles, not different names?  I mean, your'e saying no repeats of a whole title, right?  (Not, no repeats of an individual female name?  I had one, but it was a goof.)
Are names of famous characters, or perhaps female celebrities ok?
The name in the title doesn't necessarily have to refer to a girl when used in the song?   I mean, can it just be any potential girl's name?  (androgynous names)
Oh, are instrumentals okay, or do they need to have lyrics?

1.  Gloria  -- Laura Branigan (one safe one, anyway, heh)
2.  Jennifer -- M2M  (or two)
3.  Wonder Woman -- Tasha (Korean)
4.  Miss San -- Eric Sarra, Wasabi OST (instr.)
5.  Jessie's Girl -- Rick Springfield  (Jessie can be a female name)

Toss it if it doesn't fit the master plan, but I think this could make things relatively prolific too.

Edit: I put in a different #4 because the first artist was wrong.

yep.... keep them coming. We did this at work some years back at work. Ya I know public servants gone amuck ::) but we got something like 300 titles... that was with the help of a local radio station that pitched in some 40 titles.
