So You Wanna Be A Pornstar? (Female characters needed)

The basic premise of this game is this:

After many of the markets collapsed during a period of economic downfall, it was seen that there was one market that didn't plummet into the ground. The Porn industry strangely enough, with enough money and backing from several banks they bought a local TV station. The first owner was simply content to show porn on this very net, while it was watched it wasn't great or interesting enough to catch the public eye. That would all change when Solomon King bought the TV station, a wealthy business owner and a former TV-show maker Solomon changed it from simply porn 24/7 to a station that also featured some shows with porn-stars. Allowing contestants to win dates, and sometimes other things, with their favorite pornstars be they man or woman. In time the station numbers grew and they expanded, moving further into the line of products.

At this time they are one of the best watched programs globally, now Mr. King has announced a very special new show. So You Wanna Be A Pornstar?, a show which will offer twelve (gonna start with that) lucky stars and starlets a chance at international fame. Picked from many, many videos, still images, letters and such sent in Solomon King will pick twelve of the most promising aspiring pornstars. Each week they will have a show-down during a live TV show in which can be voted, at the end of the show the least favorite couple will be sent off. At which point the remaining candidates will shift to a new partner for next week, along with the online voting a panel consisting of various well known stars will also grade each couple and what they do.

During the week before the live show all couples are given a scene idea and told to run with it. The couple that classifies the highest overall will also gain a cash prize, or a special prize. (Think a guest-star appearance to make a couple a threesome)

I will wait with posting a 'fill this out' list until I'm sure I have enough people interested.

This sounds really interesting, and I would absolutely be interested, but may I make one small suggestion?   TWELVE players as a minimum is going to be rather chaotic.  Maybe pare it down to 4 - 6? (maybe we pick up in the finals for example?)   Maybe let people play more than one role?  Just a thought.

Although, if I may be so bold, I have some suggestions...

Rather than, or on top of, the weekly 'scene' that they have to do- maybe it plays straight all the terrible reality TV tropes and there is a sex-related 'challenge' that somehow influences the dynamic of the show. For instance, the winner gets some sort of favorable treatment from the producers.

Maybe they all live in the same house, which is videotaped big-brother style 24/7? There are confession cams, cheesy elimination catchphrases, the contestants were picked deliberately to be as incendiary as possible., ect.

Suddenly, I'm inclined to play a girl who actually has a regular boyfriend back home... Drama ensues!

Backstory / description: A dual language speaking Canadian, "Liz" grew up speaking French.  But she picked up english very well, knowing she'd need it in life.  She speaks with an accent that is noticeable, but not too hard to understand.  She works very hard not to slip back into french when talking to people, but might do so when she's very angry or excited.  She's been trying to launch her modeling career for a few years now, but has met with little luck.  While she's undeniably beautiful, most modeling companies tell her that she's just not the right size.   Too tall at 5'11, she is tall for a woman, and too tall for most designers to even consider.  In addition to that, she has the unfortunate distinction of having what one agent called a 'thick' frame for a model.  She's in excellent shape, but she has wide hips and shoulders, as well as somewhat muscular thighs.  Most people would call her a knockout, but fashion designers look for very specific body types, and Liz is afraid that she just won't ever fit into those designs.  However her perky, full breasts, pale white skin, and gorgeous face might be perfect for that new reality show where people fuck their way to a million dollars.

     -  Practically nothing.   Mike is already fairly morally bankrupt and doesn't see there being many limits that he wouldn't cross.  Plus he figures that it's for TV anyways so they will probably have some sort of limits that will be reached long before he would.  One of the reasons that he and his sister both got accepted was the video they sent in as audition.  If they were willing to have incestuous sex with each other for an audition (and love every minute of it) then these two were obviously going to be good on camera.
Backstory / description: Mike was born in Israel, but moved to the USA with his sister Hannah when he was 14.  They had always been very close and it was a secret between them that they had taken each others virginity.  Mike fell in with a rough crowd, giving up his religion and joining a gang.  Hannah however fell in as well and was not quite as good at being a criminal.  While Micha never got caught, she did, repeatedly.  Finally Mike realized that he had to make something of his life, and the only thing he was any good at was inking.  So while his sister was in jail, he started as an artist and eventually saved up enough to buy the studio.  That was four years ago, but today his buisness is barely riding the edge of bankruptcy, and he's going to save it, no matter the cost.

Personality:  Despite his tattoos and bold personality, Mike can be quiet and soft spoken at times.  He has a quiet desperation about him that says he will do whatever it takes.

Well there have been a few thrown up here already, characters in debt, characters who find difficulty finding another job, shy people, devious people only in it for the money. There are a lot of reasons why somebody might want fame and fortune.

She'd be a character, if I'm going to take over as the GM from Liriel, I have a very set idea for the 'host.'  I was thinking a sexy female voice that comes from speakers and gives the actors their directions and tasks.  That would also allow me to focus on setting tone and theme without adding another character.

The 6 contestants don't know it, but they are being voted on by the public at home as well as judges.  They are all earning a score for their performances, and at the end of the show their score determines the winner, maybe even one male and female winner?   That way we don't have to kick anyone off the show?

Just one last question before we start rhev:

How much (if anything) will the contestants know about what is expected of them within the house?

They will know about the premise, that it's going to be a realtiy show focused around sex.  That its going to be a several week (?) long try out to become the next face of Sizzle Inc.  That they will be expected to have sex with their housemates.  But since it's universally a no no, there will be no cameras focused on the watercloset (toilet) and that sort of play will NOT be allowed, even in the dungeon.  They will know the limitations for what they can bring.  They will know that they will be voted on by the audience at home based on largely their sex scenes, but also just their day to day activities  (people can vote for their contestants at any time for any reason).  Finally they know that they aren't prisoners and can leave any time they want, but anyone who stays to the end gets a consolation prize of some kind even if they don't win the game.  They will know anything listed on the 'rules' section before they start.

They will NOT know their co-contestants.  They won't know what sort of contests or games there will be to play.  They won't know WHERE the sizzle house is.

Everything looks fine... and other than the room problem (4 couples, 3 rooms) I don't see any problem here. But maybe two can have the salon as their private room, even if that doesn't sound 100 % as comparable to the rules.

How will be determined who wins? We make an agreement before? Have a dice decision?

I'm going to be keeping track of people's actions and such and keeping a 'score' of sorts.  Also what I REALLY want to do is make a thread asking other people on E to read our thread and private message me whenever they read something that they like.   This would be like the viewers at home 'voting' and I'll give your score a bonus.

As for not enough beds... That's going to be part of the drama.   :)

Technically there's just enough room for everyone.  King sized beds sleep 3 comfortably, or 4 if you are a little cramped
the queen sized bed, 2 / 3
Plus there's also the couch, which if people really want we could have be a fold out which sleeps 1 comfortably / 2 uncomfortably?
