I had a bit of a cute idea..

Sort of based from a mixture of Princess Tutu and Dancetale, which is an Undertale AU where everyone has a main dance they can do well.

In this 'The Underground' is an island complex far away form the rest of the world.

To quote from the Dancetale post: http://teandstars.tumblr.com/post/136682365151/dancetale-concepts

Dancetale stuff
What is dancing to the monsters?
Dancing is an important part of their culture (much like puzzles are. It should be noted that to solve puzzles, dancing is needed). It’s a part of their life. For monsters, dancing is a way to express oneself. It brings happiness, hope, and joy. It is a way of communicating.

When a monster is born…
They’re born with the ability to dance. It’s instinctive. Like love and compassion, it’s a big part of their soul. Each monster specializes in a certain style of dancing…this is their “main dance”. However, monsters are not limited to one dance; they may know two or more. Others seem to excel in multiple dances, but what they choose as their main dance is up to them. Though all monsters have the ability to dance, some choose not to. It’s all about preference.

Sometimes dancing buds early…or blooms late for a monster… But it always remains.

Why can all monsters dance, and why do they have the exceptional ability to do so, young or old?
In this AU, Dancing has been a part of monster culture for generations and generations. Like a gene, it is inherited. Monster magic has imbued that talent into their DNA. They don’t need to learn it; they already know it from the time they’re born. This magic is in their blood, but it emanates from the monsters themselves, like an aura. So, if a human were to be exposed to this sort of thing upon first contact, they would be given the ability to dance even if they aren’t aware of it at first. (In Frisk’s case)

Dancing and fighting:
Monsters seamlessly coordinate their dance and their attacks (Even if they’re not that great at attacking…).They utilize their dance moves to aid in battle.

When dancing:
It is customary for monsters to bow before dancing. It is taken as a polite gesture before taking part in the dance. But, if you don’t bow, it’s okay. No one will get mad at you. It would be rude not to finish the dance, though.

When two monsters dance, and they are dancing for fun, leisure, or the like, their SOULs resonate. If mutual consent was given to dance and the two are compatible, a stronger bond is formed between the two. (Along with better understanding, empathy, respect, and love (platonic or romantic). A connection is developed. It doesn’t matter if the dance style is the same or not; if they are compatible, their styles will meld, creating a balanced, harmonious dance. However, the least compatible the monsters are, the less they are likely to form a bond. Their SOULs do not resonate. This is unlikely as two monsters who generally dislike each other will choose not to dance at all.

This is different in the context of battle. SOULs do not resonate when ill feelings are apparent between two opposing forces. However, this does not apply to monsters. It’s not explicitly stated that monsters fight other monsters.

Using this, The Underground is the name of the Island complex itself, a large island with two smaller islands whose climate perfectly encaptures the four seasons,

Spring town is lively and romantic, with flowers blooming, people laughing and playing with mild weather.

Summerton is warmer, with beaches that others can come swim in and a more tropical atmosphere.

Harvest village is cooler, with leaves seeming to constantly fall from trees that regrow them daily in various pretty colors, giving plenty of leaves for people to play in. Crops grow perfectly here for some reason and much faster than normal. [Think a Harvest moon like village]

Snow'Din is a wintery area, where snow falls on occasion and the landscape is perfectly white and almost christmas-like.

In each place dance is how creatures communicate, in the exact center where all seasons meet is a large circular building  that houses the Academy. with Several floors that lead to the various types of dances for others to practice and learn. This academy streches for 2 miles above and 3 miles below ground with many floors that let creatures learn almost anything they desire, a magic portal taking them right to where they want to go with the push of a button from the lobby.

What I envision for this is kind of a slice of life thing, with people interacting as they wish to like a normal life. There is magic, but it leads on to dance related things or music related things. I'd like a storyteller to help flesh this out if possible.. Maybe figure out some sort of conflict to happen here for the players to enjoy.

Umm.. What do you think?
