(The characters. Nothing sexual about the second one I just liked how she looked.)

Lately the two twins have not been getting along and it was driving her crazy. They were always close because they shared something that most other siblings do not. They shared the same womb together. Ever since their younger sister died things have been different between them and they did not get along anymore. Right now she was cooking dinner for both of them and hoped he would eat something. Lately he had not been eating much and that worried him. She was working fast around the kitchen like she always had.

It was evening.  He could feel it.  Robin rolled over, his back was covered in sweat, the air in the room was heavy; his head was heavy.  He lay there on his bed for a while, eyes open and looking up at the white ceiling.  I overslept.  He turned his head toward his nightstand: 7:00PM.  He had been in bed since 6:00AM that morning.

He was sticky.  He knew his hair was a mess but he didn't care.  He barely even remembers the last time he cared about such a thing.  Slowly Robin dragged himself out of bed.  He crawled over to his closet, nothing on but an unbuttoned white linen shirt and a striped brown pair of boxer shorts, down feathers in his hair and clinging to his face.

"Thus begins the part of the day I can't just sleep through," he mutters as he brushes the red hair off his face, trying to button up his shirt at the same time.

What is that smell?

Robin's hands drop to his sides.  Hair falls back onto his face, and in one swift motion Robin flings himself back onto his bed, pulling the comforter over his head at the same time.  She was home today, again.

Since he had been asleep so long and for the whole day she was worried about him but she would not go upstairs. She would not want to be yelled at again but she was making dinner and maybe he would be down soon enough. She was always home after work. Since he was always in bed she had to work to pay the bills and this was getting on her nerves. Soon dinner was done and she walked upstairs then knocked on the door slightly.

He ignored her, her to think he was still sleeping.  Not again.  Just let me eat when you're finished. He turned his head slightly under the covers in order to find a more comfortable position, trying to stay as still as he could for as long as he could.  And yet something tickled his nostril:  it was a tiny feather, likely from his pillow, and he was suddenly overcome with the need to sneeze. 

"Ah ... ahh ... AH-CHOO!"

A few moments later she thought he was asleep but then noticed the sneeze from inside the door. "Dinner's ready." She asked hoping today was the day he was going to eat something and opened the door. "It's your favorite please eat something." She insisted and held the plate out but did not go inside of the room.

He sighed audibly.  I shouldn't be unfair to her.  She's the only one I've got left.

"Please, just put it down on my desk," he said, quietly, "I ... I know you're upset.  I know you've been working hard.  You don't have to do this you know."

He waited under the covers, not moving, breaths coming quickly but softly.  Her presence had been making him increasingly nervous recently.

She almost stopped in her tracks when he heard his voice. The voice was being nice to her for once and slowly she went over to put the plate on his desk. "If I don't make you food you wont eat it." She said before turning around to leave.

He heard his sister place the plate and he could feel her walking away.

"Sis, I'm sorry about the other day.  You didn't deserve it.  You don't really deserve any of this,"  he shifted under his blanket, "Say, I've been thinking about moving out.  I'll get a job or something, support myself, and totally get out of your hair.  What do you think?"

Honestly she did not want him to move out but how else was she supposed to feel after all she went through. "No you don't need to move out. If you do I probably wont see you again." She stopped jut a few feet from the door after hearing his apology.

"Well let's face it, you haven't seen me proper for at least two weeks.  Nor have I you."

He paused for a moment.  He didn't want this to continue indefinitely.  How could it?

"I know we haven't really spoken much lately, sis ... but how have things been going for you?"

What is this sudden change from the way he was acting. When he asked how she was doing she turned around to face him. "I have been dead tired and working two jobs. Let alone doing all the house work." She wasn't one to complain but she was irritated about all this.

Two jobs.  He couldn't help but feel guilty.  He thought she sounded upset.

"What do you want me to do?  I could do it you know.  I'm not much of a day person these days, but I could do the house work ... or something."

He sat up in his bed as he spoke and pulled the covers off as he finished speaking.  He had not seen those brown eyes for weeks.  She was skinnier, but she still looked the same.  She looked tired, he could tell from how she stood.  She hadn't cut her hair yet; it reminded Robin of her, another sister with whom he'd lost contact.  He could still speak to the one in front of him but for how much longer?  He looked down at the floor.  He felt guilty.

Upset was an understatement. She was skinner because she was too tired to eat and she became depressed to. They had been so close and now they were hardly talking to each other. When she saw him look down she sighed and her face grew softer. "What's wrong?" She asked him.

Robin took a breath.

"Look, I know you're upset with me.  I just feel guilty, that's all," he was still looking down at the floor as he spoke, "I'm sorry I haven't helped out recently.  I'll get a job, I'll find another place.  I really can't watch you do this any longer.  And when I'm cross I know I'm unfair to you ... and well ... I don't know what you think anymore."

He looked up briefly to read the expression on his sister's face.  This time he couldn't tell what she felt.

He still have not told her why he was acting like this but at least it was an apology of some sort. "I don't want you to move out but helping out a bit would be nice." Her expression was soft and her voice not angry anymore. Even though she still wished she knew the reason why behind all this.

He tried his best to push his fears as far away as he temporarily could, for his sister's sake.

"Listen, if you haven't eaten yet, I'll join you for dinner tonight, alright?" Robin said as cheerfully as he could.

He cleared his throat quietly as he looked up at his sister again.

"Alright then could you please do the laundry?" She honestly did need some help and thought he would since all he did was stay in the room.

He laughed. 

"You never change, do you?  Okay, is everything in the laundry room, or am I going to have to haul your dirty laundry out of your room?"

His head felt a little bit lighter now.  He was reminded of how things used to be, briefly.

"I haven't had the chance to take everything out. If you want me to get the stuff for you I will." She smirked at his joke and sat at the kitchen table then started eating slowly.

"I'll take it all out myself.   Just let me know if there's anything dangerous in your hamper before I reach in," he said as she exited his room.

Robin followed her to the kitchen table after a bit of yawning.  He walked into the kitchen, mostly dressed but still in a disheveled state, and placed his plate on the far end of the kitchen table.  He began eating tentatively, and he waited to see if she would say anything.

A small laugh escaped her lips as he heard what he said before she got to the kitchen. Her plate was at the farthest area away from the him and thought he would sit beside her. Though she did think deep inside her that he would do that. "So are you ever going to tell me why you are being like this?" She asked putting a mouthful into her mouth.

"Being like what?"

He continued eating, trying to avoid the question

"I mean us fighting all the time." She looked at him hoping he would say why.

He sighs, putting down his fork.  Robin swallows his food.

"What do you think of our sister dying?  Why do you think it happened?"  he asks this as he stares at his food, afraid to look his sister in the eyes.

So this was all about their sister dieing. "I know it's been hard but it was her time to go. You were closer to her then I was." She whispered watching him.
