I ran this a while back with a good amount of success and I think the time has come to dust it off and give it another go if there are any interested.

Story Background

For centuries, the continent of Viemera was steeped in blood ever since the first demonic legions spilled out of large gateways in the southern frontiers of the continent.  It was as though the entire population of the Abyss spilled over into the Material Plane, creating a relentless flood of monstrous horrors adorned for battle.  There had been no warning.  The opening months of the war were gruesome as all of Viemera had been caught off guard by the scale of the attack.  The southern nations of Desh and Averil only managed to evacuate as many of their citizens they could before the dark army fell upon them.  Without time to employ their defenses and military tactics, the blitzkrieg fell upon those who remained behind as a sacrifice to buy whatever time they could for the refugees.  Try as they might, the demonic horde tore through the lines like arrows through cheesecloth and thousands of innocents were run down during their attempts to evacuate.

Thus marked the beginning of the Age of Darkness.  Had it not been for the advance scouts that were sent north the moment the first reports of the unholy army was sighted, the rest of the nations would have fell just as easily.  Ready for the attack, the three remaining countries stopped the enemy’s charge dead in its tracks at the cost of countless lives.  The main dominating force had been shattered, but the war was far from over.  For the next 150 years, the combined races of the Material Plane fought tooth and nail against the demons in encounters that ran the whole spectrum of scale.  Although they never truly reunified their efforts since their initial charge was broken during the battle of Antioch.  In the chaos of battle it was never determined what had caused the collapse in rank, but it is widely believed that the entity who commanded them had either been wounded or killed.  Though no evidence had been found to support this theory.  The demons continued to pour from the gateways and were gradually grinding down resistance by sheer numbers despite the lack of coordination.  Unless something drastic was done, it would only be a matter of time until all of the Material races were wiped from the face of Viemera.

Generations of bloodshed had finally come to an end when General Gaius Talonius led the Unified Viemeran Army into a campaign that pushed the demonic horde back into the Abyss through the very rifts that they had poured through all those years ago.  For the first time in since any mortal could remember, there was a time of peace.  The toll upon the realm was great.  Humanity fared the best of all the races due to the massive siege walls around major cities that kept the relentless tide of demons from overwhelming the populous through sheer numbers.  The unprotected towns and villages around the noble ruled capitals had been wiped entirely off the map until not even ruins stood.  Though, there are some settlements that had been far enough off the beaten path to have been overlooked by the horde all together and have thrived once the final gateway was sealed.

The other races had not been so fortunate.  Halflings and gnomes were hardest hit in the first wave of recon and skirmish bands.  Hunting packs of hellhounds tore through the smaller folk with savage efficiency until their kind was all but exterminated.  There are still few who survived through the good fortune of being in a defensible position during the first wave, but their numbers are too few to ensure a broad enough gene pool for long-term survival of their kind.  Dwarves and other mountain dwelling races were the next to suffer as the larger, more powerful demons entered the material realm.  Mountains and mines were besieged as the unholy creatures relentlessly hammered upon their defenses.  The demons paid a premium for every soldier that was slain, but they had the numbers to spare and it had only been a matter of time before the cornered mountain dwellers were either overrun or starved to death.  There are rumors that some underground societies yet survived by collapsing the tunnels leading to the heart of their communities, but if that were the case they still remain trapped and cut off from the rest of the world.  Probably unaware that the war had ended, or if they did, assumed the demons had come out the victor.

Elves managed to come out of the war, battered and bloodied, but their numbers are enough to perpetuate their kind given enough time.  This is largely due to their affinity for surviving in the wilderness, managing to avoid the blunt of the demonic incursion through guerilla hit and run tactics while constantly keeping on the move.  As a result, they have become used to a nomadic lifestyle and are almost exclusively migrant tribes.  It is this reason that they are a rarity to be seen in civilized society, each major human capital are considered to have an abundance of their kind if they have a few score within their walls.

There had been no witnesses to the event that had created the gateway between worlds.  To this day it is yet unknown how such a construct came to be, though there are hundreds of theories based on nothing more than conjecture that constantly ignite heated arguments.

The Legacy of Gaius Talonius

The whole of the material realm rejoiced once General Gaius Talonius and the United Viemeran Army returned victorious.  They had become the symbol of hope and the unified strength of whole nations who banded together to end the blight that threatened their very existence.  For the first time in history, peoples of all lifestyles and heritage combined under a single banner.  The ruling class honored Gaius’ successful campaign by elevating him among them, entitling him as a noble along with all the benefits that came with it.  Thus, the House of Talonius was born.

It wasn’t long after the dust settled and society begun to get back on its feet that the other noble houses returned to their ways of political backstabbing as all the resources and territory that had been lost over the course of the war became up for grabs.  What took decades to bring to reality crumbled in only a few short years after the war and the realm was once again divided.  Gaius himself became nothing more than a symbol of status for the nobles who associated with him, a mere trophy to be displayed.   As a career soldier, Gaius quickly grew wary of the political lifestyle as his attempts to reunify Viemera failed as horribly as his attempt to get the noble houses to put aside their petty quarrels to help the people within their borders who were undergoing immense hardships to resettle the war torn lands.

Eventually, Gaius set it upon himself to use his title to help the commoners.  His house may have been elevated to that of noble status, but much of that was in title alone.  It did come with a generous purse, but he later found that was as a means for him to provide himself the luxuries necessary to fill the appearance of the upper class.  Since he didn’t have the wealth or influence to help the people through proxies, he set out to do so with his bare hands along with a few dozen individuals who had served with him in the war and had earned their undying loyalty.  The next several years, Gaius Talonius and his followers lived the life of an adventurer, traveling from location to location providing help to the locals however possible.  Gaius was as skilled at logistics as he was with tactics and his presence in hamlets who were struggling to manage their resources and food stocks made a difference between sparse meals and full-blown starvation during the harshest of winters.  He was never content with leaving a location until he knew that their community had become self-sufficient.

Gaius never took a wife, which had been a concern to his loyal companions by the time he was in his early forties.  They were well aware of the fact that Gaius was the last of his bloodline and, unless something was done, his legacy would fade away with him.  In light of all the good he had done, they could not let this be.  Even when his friends pressed the issue hard upon him, Gaius was set upon his decision not to wed claiming that there was still too much work to be done to allow himself to be tied down by a family.  Eventually, they managed to reason with him and work out a compromise.  Gaius still refused to marry and establish a legitimate line of succession, but he agreed to take on concubines to allow his bloodline to flourish.  As a side effect of a portion of his attention going towards building a family, he had developed a soft spot for children who had been orphaned through rough times in the unsettled lands or because of the war.  On top of siring children of his own, he also adopted a good number of orphans into his noble house.  Every one of his children was given a signet ring of his house that could only be worn by the recipient, regardless if they were his through blood or adoption.

It became more difficult for the aging man to move to the next hamlet knowing that he’d be forced to leave his offspring who were much too young to join him in his travels.  Knowing that the adopted orphans would have nobody once he left, he saw to it that a local whom he had grown to trust in his short time there took them into their homes until the time came where he would be able to provide a home for them.  Ultimately, Gaius knew that the villagers would be much better at raising his young in a way where they will be able to find their own place in life rather than feel pressured to follow in the footsteps of their father.  As time progressed, he would find himself yearning to see the type of people they become once they come to age.

As he had expected, the accumulating heartache that came with leaving his young behind in order to help another community in need became too great to continue his mission.  By that time he was well in his fifties and Gaius knew that the oldest of his children born from his own seed would be coming to age in only a few short years, to say nothing of those whom were already a few years old when he adopted them.  The burden of his lament finally became too great for his shoulders to bear, so he set about finding a place to set his roots with his comrades at his side.  Once word of his intentions spread to the noble houses, they set about doing everything they could to indoctrinate him into their social circles to reclaim their long lost trophy and hero of the people.  That environment would have been entirely unappealing in of itself, but Gaius couldn’t imagine the hardships his ‘illegitimate’ children would suffer should they become immersed in that world of political treachery and deceit.

Gaius already had a place in mind and much to his delight it remained in the unsettled portions of the frontier.  Unclaimed and forgotten by all but a small number, most of whom had been traveling with him since the war.   After a few days travelling through thick brush and wilderness from the upstart port town of Doroga, they finally reached their destination.  A large clearing in the tree line where plant life had finally begun to sprout in soil that had seen a lot of heavy traffic sometime in its history.  Though the thing that made the location so precious was the broad path that led from the clearing into the side of a large, steep earth formation that was too small to be considered a mountain, but to call it a hill would be greatly underrating its scale.  Along with its precious contents.  Halfway up the side of the earthworks was a yawning opening framed by massive timbers that could only have been made of whole trees.  The tunnel of the Dwarven mine had apparently collapsed sometime during the war, but as far as his years of research had suggested, it was still very rich with mithral.  That was where Gaius decided to carve out a territory under his own name, as was his right as a noble, and named his new home Renrir.

Over the next two years, the clearing had grown into a village of a little over a hundred people that only continued to expand.  Thanks to Gaius' leadership, the community flourished and managed to make it through those first critical months without the life threatening hardships that were common among new frontier settlements.  Many of the villagers who had relocated to Renrir were from the very villages Gaius had helped during his travels.  He had seen to it that one of the first things accomplished was to make a roadway connecting Renrir to Doroga to help encourage the arrival of new settlers as well as making travel time between them significantly quicker and easier.  At present, the roadway is just barely wide enough for two wagons to pass one another as long as one of them pulled to the side.  The town doesn't have much in the way of wealth yet, but they have all the necessary artisans to provide the basics for the young village.  Carpenters and stonecutters are highly valued at present in order to keep up with the constant demand of new homes; fortunately, they have most of the materials they need for the job were readily available.  For the sake of productivity and accomplishing two purposes at once, Gaius saw to it that the demand for stone was obtained from the collapsed mine.  Even if the amount used was hardly a drop in the bucket needed to get the mine functioning again.

Mere months before Gaius intended to send word to his scattered family as a means of inviting them to what he had hoped they would accept as their new home and legacy, Gaius Nero Talonius, hero of The Great War, passed away.  His only regret upon going was that he never got the opportunity to see what sort of people his children had grown into.  What remained of Gaius' purse upon receiving his status all those years ago was placed into the village's treasury and in the care of his second and longtime friend, Crassus Antillus.

Crassus didn't hesitate to follow the wishes of his late companion and immediately sent missives to the towns where his heirs resided, inviting them to accept the inheritance their father had left them.  As he had promised Gaius when he had first convinced him to establish heirs to his house, Crassus would serve as advisor to House Talonius.

What to expect as a player:
-Instead of posting pictures of maps and trying to have everybody navigate in that manner during combat, I intend on hosting a virtual tabletop on www.roll20.net where players can move around their tokens more easily and otherwise take much of the hassle out of photobucket and screen captures for me.  This is only during combat settings and will be a simple matter of logging in then moving your character to where you want before posting your action and rolls in the IC here on Elliquiy.

-As with any campaign, there will be an abundance of quests and side-quests waiting to be taken up.  I plan on making this game roughly equal parts puzzle, combat, and character interactions.

-As a sort of mini-game, the village of Renrir is self-sustaining but is not yet making much in the way of income.  I'm leaving it up to you as players to establish city ordinances, seek methods of producing income, and otherwise establishing outside business relationships.  Doing so will not only provide your characters with a regular allowance/income as the village profits and grows, but it could also lead to more unique rewards down the road.  However, the opposite can also occur should you make powerful enemies along your journeys or if the regulations upon the town bring about detrimental effects.  For all intents and purposes, it's your town to run as the group sees fit.  Furthermore, the mine is still blocked off and it will be a good while until it is up and running again; this process could be expedited or hindered based upon your actions.

-More often than not, fellow nobles will view your characters with the same contempt they would with any bastard child of nobility.  That is not to say they cannot be swayed into friendly terms, but don't be surprised when they address you with the mightier than thou attitude they reserve for all commoners.

-Your reputation among common people can ranges widely.  Some instinctively view all nobles as being born with the physical disability of having their heads stuck up their own asses, and for the most part their instincts haven't let them down.  Others, especially certain frontier towns, hold you in a higher regard than most.  Though people in general will see you as somebody who has potential to live up to your father's legacy, but have yet to do so.

-Leveling will occur a slightly above a medium pace, pending upon what you manage to accomplish or the benchmarks you reach in the story.

Character creation information:
-Overall party size of 4-5 proactive players. I will be including my own character into the party, but he’ll be a warpriest who can handle himself in combat and help with healing, but have little input for skills and decision making. Not first come, will probably select players Monday if there are enough applicants at that time.
-Anything in the Pathfinder SRD is fair game, except for 3rd party stuff, psionics, and firearms.
-Magic Item Compendium and Spell Compendium are also useable materials.
-If there is anything else from 3.5, specifically classes, feel free to shoot me a PM with what you had in mind.
-The story is geared for human and half-elf characters, though I've left room in the story's premise for other core races as long as you can provide me with an adequate backstory.
-Your characters will all be heirs to Gaius Talonius, though they need not be born of his seed.  Thus, any petition for a non-human race must be orphaned and adopted.
-Age for bloodline heirs range from 15-20, age for adopted children range from 15-30. (Or race equivalent)
-Level 4 starting.
-One 18, one 8, and four 1d8+9.  Roll two stat lines and pick one.
-Max HP at 1st level, then half HD + half HD roll. (I.e. a d8 hit die would be 1d4+4)
-8k starting gold.
-Up to 2 traits, as long as they are incorporated into your character's bio.

At this point you can just submit race, gender, stat line, appearance, brief bio, and personality so if there are some people who don't get selected, they don't spend a lot of time on their character only to be put on hold until an opening presents itself.

I'm intrigued, though a few questions...

1) Is there going to be more adventure than just micromanaging a town? if I'm playing pathfinder, I don't want to also be playing EVE Online  :-)

2) I'm generally more interested in nonhuman and non-elven races (I play a human 24/7, and elves are just bleh) so I'm glad they're still an option. But for the half-human angle... how far does that extend? is it just half elves / half orcs? or do things like aasimar, dhamphir, skinwalkers i.e., other races derived from human "stock" also count?

3) Will the game be played in roll20, or will it just be the map?

4) What sort of sexual content will the game be involving? A game where there's some sex, if characters pursue it, is a very different game from "LOL TENTACLE RAEP!" games, and I make characters to match such.

Ixy

I'm also interested, but like Chulanowa I would like to have an idea of what kind of adventuring/story you'll be planning to run; I'm hoping for more of a story-arc than a sandbox, and that's really the crux of it.  However, I know sandbox games are rather popular... I just don't see them moving ahead very well, as an attempt to branch out of the 'yard' requires someone to take control from above.

Based on the background you provided, I think there's a huge range of backgrounds that can be incorporated, and I'm assuming (perhaps erroneously) that this will be more of the "relationships are an option" type of game, and that's not a bad thing at all.

i'm going to rattle around a couple of ideas-- Chulanowa, if you settle on anything, do you want to consider linking backgrounds before applying?

1) Micromanaging a town is a side game, basically every in-game month you list what you want done and Crassus will see to it that it is accomplished.  This is a plot-driven RP with a solid storyline that will allow some free-roaming during moments where the main story needs time for things to play out in the background to set up for the next quest.  This will be revealed very early on in the game; I won't leave you hanging without direction long at all.  The city is just fun down-time entertainment that will allow you to build your power base/noble status.

2)If you want to be anything other than human or half-elf then you will have to play somebody who was adopted by Gaius rather than having the option; divines know that this bloody war created a generation of orphans of every race.  Ultimately, there will be no difference between blood-related and adopted siblings since all will get the bonuses of the bloodline (thanks to a ritual that will cause adopted to essentially be bonded to the family line).  The story is 'geared' to human/half-elf siblings meaning that most of the other noble houses will likely scoff at non-humans seeing them as inferior, but I am very open-minded and accepting of other races provided you have a good backstory.  All core races and select featured races are welcome.  For the uncommon races, I'm mainly looking for a good story that explains how they/their family endured the war and how they came to find residence in the frontier hamlets/cities shortly after the war ended.

3)Just the map for roll20 so we don't have to worry about meeting times as a group.

4)This won't be a sexventure, but there are sexual/romantic elements for those who wish to pursue them.  Plus, nobles will be nobles, but at least you'll likely have adopted siblings as options rather than stuck with all blood relatives.

Oh! I remember this story.  :)  I'd love to try it again. :)

indarkestknight

Sounds intriguing.

Leaning towards either a swashbuckler or a synthesist summoner.

The former would be bloodthirsty and a bit of a bully, but very inspired by his father's legacy and determined to live up to it. He's the sort that's accepted challenges of duels to the death (his winning personality) and, given he's survived, he won by killing. He might pick on siblings that are adopted, but believes in all of them presenting a united front to other noble houses, so he'd have a very 'I'm the only one allowed to pick on you' attitude about it. He's a swashbuckler, but if he were a cavalier, he'd be Order of the Cockatrice. Inspirations would include Alain, the iconic Pathfinder cavalier, and Atherton Wing of Firefly.

The latter would be rather sickly and weak. Seeking a way to remedy his infirmities, he discovered a magical ritual that allowed him to bind an outsider to himself and partake of its vitality by wearing it like a second skin or a suit of armor. Inspirations would include Raistlin Majere of Dragonlance and Elric of Melnibone.

Some quick questions:

1. ) You mentioned firearms are verboten. The Technology Guide has been added to the PRD and includes advanced technology other than firearms. As they are not on the above list, are they banned or allowed?

2. ) You mentioned psionics as verboten as well. How do you feel about psychic magic, as presented in the Occult Adventures playtest classes?

Foxfyr

I would have to say negative to both of those since I feel they would be out of place in this world setting. Plus I am wary of playtest material and don't have the inclination at this point to review it to see if I feel it won't potentially break aspects of the game.

indarkestknight

The suggested swashbuckler or synthesist character concepts would, however, be acceptable choices, I hope?

Foxfyr

Yeah, the swashbuckler and summoner classes are acceptable and your concepts looks good.

Hm...

Magus shepardess?  Or cleric of Saranrae?

Does this world use the Golarion pantheon?

Ershin

Oh wow, I remember this game. I'd really wanted to join it last time you ran it, though I think I was a bit too late with my application. Is there a closing date potential applicants should be aware of or will you start when you have enough applications?

Foxfyr

The closing date is loosely established for Monday night, but that is a loose time that depends if I feel there are enough applications to choose from.

Zaer Darkwail

I remember this game....I check is my char still in Mythweavers.....oh snap, it's not :(. Anyways it was two (or almost three) years ago when you last ran it and chars were 6th level back then. Anyways my concept works even in 4th level albeit may change class maybe. Here in below is as reminder what char I used.....I assume the background is still okay (I may roll perhaps a paladin, redeemer archtype or go with bard again).

Gilbert Dhae'khul
Charsheet
Class: Bard 4
Occupation: Traveling Minstrel and author
Race: Tiefling (daemon spawn; Erodaemon offspring)
Relation to Gaius Talonius: By blood
Stats: 14, 14, 11, 17
Background

Tale of Gilbert takes on several years back into distant past. To time when Gaius Talonius was on his fourties. He was seduced by a woman called Birgite Goldblade, a fair maiden of virtue who adventured alongside of him. They grew very close, even up to intimate level. But not him nor none of the party suspected that Birgite was actually daemon in disguise, a daemon called Calish.

Calish became pregnant with Gaius child, one among his first what he fathered in that time. As erodaemon Calish sought out send Gaius into heartbroken stage, destroy his heart. So she showed ultimate betrayal which nearly led Gaius and his friends killed and when he confronted her after she had given birth to the child and then revealed her true form and with wicked glee she fought on Gaius but she was not serious at all; she mocked and plucked poisonous warped daggers to his heart just words alone which drove Gaius beyond angry; a undisputed wrath was more correct term to coin it. Making Gaius despise Calish and everything about her; including offspring they had created and make Gaius think young Gilbert was wicked abomination which carried his seed.

Gaius eventually succeed slain her in combat but she returned only to her home dimension, with angry scowl which turned to grin when she waited with hungry sultry smile in daemon dimension for Gaius perform deed what she secretly had taunted him to do; slay his own son. She knew him well; so well that such deed would drive him beyond unmeasurable despair and heartbreak and so she can suck his rich soul which makes hundred year banishment to her own dimension worth long while! Gaius was in material plane proceeding do exactly that; driven by rage and sorrow from seeing all love had been false and driven to destroy any trace of the union with such wicked creature! So when Gaius had lifted his blade his friends voices finally reached him and he realized in critical last moment what he was about to do, and years later realize what Calish had tried to do in first place and feel very grateful for his friends words since then.

Gaius did not slay the tiefling child, despite carrying blood of evil he carried blood of mortal and so had mortal soul which has just more better chance led evil if provoked to such path. So he send the tiefling child to a scholarly monastery where humble monks who did not look on race nor heritage of the child and raised him as one of them own. The child became skilled scribe who hungered for adventure and although bullied in youth (by other young acolytes) he learned cope it with his natural agility and sharp witty tongue and accept the fact that he is tiefling and no force in universe can change it for now on him. Only years later tiefling child learned about his father when he received the ring along with message he may be summoned some day.

As child Gilbert felt offended his own father never paid visit to him! He had thought up to that point he was orphan with no parents but he had a father! He tried several times escape in his young youth (haven't graduated yet from monks monastery) but monks had expected it and so were prepared for escape attempts. But Gilbert then decided that if he cannot escape meet his father; he then tries lure him to him! So using all his creative cunning he wrote series of books which he secretly published under ghost writer name 'Red Fox'. The series of books were well written detailed tales of Gaius Talonius but instead sticking to facts or classic heroism they were mocking parodies of the true tales. Jokes, humor and mockeries filled the books and back in time many angrily demanded know who was Red Fox who tried discredit (or shame) Gaius.

Gaius did not care about the books but one his friends did and investigated the matter, then upon hearing the truth who had wrote the book then Gaius picked one the books and read it for most people's shock....and probably laughed more than in many years in his travels! Eventually collecting the whole series of them. Series which were meant to ire or lure him to face Gilbert instead kept him amused for years to come until Gilbert grew out from that habit and gave up (bitterly but over time bitterness faded). Unaware how much effect his books had got on Gaius or that in way he had contact with him more than most children (albeit distantly). Upon graduation from monastery he devoted his life then tracking treasures and tales across the lands, a bit eccentric and easily excited individual who is more often than not doing some silly investigation of rumor, tale or legend. Also knowing his appearance causes grief he usually goes around disguised best as he can but with close friends and those who know him he dispels his disguise. Facing the scorn, fear and resent from other people with smile and grace and win them over with his skilled performance which lifts hearts and minds.

Then things changed when Gaius died and summons were given out for all sons and daughters of Gaius to gather.....

Foxfyr

So far I've only seen two character submissions; one in this thread and another via PM.  Just wanting to check in to see if interested players had any questions at this point.

Zaer Darkwail

Your counting my post as application I take it? Ofc I need make sheet itself but concept is there quite solidly presented (I assume your still okay with it, right?). If your okay I can make complete sheet in the weekend (or next week).

Chulanowa

Yup, still interested; I just have trouble actually getting everything else in order so i have the brain-space to stew over a character. That's the plan for today and tomorrow, though, so, should be good!

Warlock

I'll throw down interest, as soon as I'm able to settle on a Cavalier. Been going Cavalier->Paladin->Cavalier->Druid->Cavalier->Ninja->Cavalier->Barbarian->Cavalier->Cleric->

indarkestknight

Still interested, just had other stuff on my plate. Gunning to get a sheet in by Monday. Still haven't settled on one or the other yet.

With that in mind, would it be acceptable to submit both characters into the candidate pool if I have sheets for both?

Foxfyr

That's fine, I have no problem with multiple character submissions.

I'll probably push the 'deadline' to a few days beyond Monday. Perhaps Wednesday or so since holiday weekends seasons can be pretty busy.

Chulanowa

Ershin

Thanks for increasing the deadline, like you said holiday weekends can be pretty busy - sorry for not getting my concept up yet

No psionics, last time I tried to allow them things got broken pretty quick. Might have just been the instance or the build, but I'm not familiar enough with it to be comfortable including it with this campaign.

Muse

  All right.

Has anyone applied with a healer type yet?  I'd like to bring forth my staff magus, but if no one else brings someone who can heal, I could have a lot of fun doing so.

Well, there's a bard, who theoretically can do some healing. And the DMPC is a warpriest, who will have at least some healing according to the DM.

I'll share my application if it helps anybody.  If accepted, I'm open to character background ties, even if it's just meeting up on the road on the way in.

Jude Talonius
From her early years, Jude learned humilty.  Her grandmother, sole guardian of the girl, told her that this was first-- that she had learned, the hard way, that humility and caution were the most valuable of virtues, and she had a history to prove it-- many times, she heard tales of how her mother had fought alongside heroes during the war, and had learned the hard way the limitations of her own mortality.  She showed her her granddaughter her own scars, and tell her the tale of how her mother, while Jude was too young to speak, had wielded magic to defend their city until she had been cut down by roving, disbanded demons from the wars.

Jude was terrified of everything.  She saw her grandmother's scars in her dreams, imagined all manners of hellish suffering for her lost mother-- and she knew nothing of her father, so she could only imagine horrors for his fate as well.  She was afraid to climb trees, afraid to swim, afraid of the dark, afraid that every noise outside her windows were demons, returned since the rift, to slaughter her and her grandmother.  Helping her grandmother keep shop, she was afraid of every customer-- until, one day, a retired soldier saw her fear, spoke to her grandmother, and came back-- again and again-- to meet with her.

His name was Marellus, and he had been a corporal before arthritis had crippled his ability to march, ride a horse, or fight effectively.  Something about the girl fascinated her, and he trained her in the art of swordplay, and in scholarship of monstrous dungeons-- these things terrified her, at first, and she was afraid of being hurt by the heavy wooden practice swords, or of being stranded in one of the labyrinths he described and illustrated for her.  But after a year of tutoring, which her grandmother accepted begrudgingly, something changed in Jude.  She began to learn that fear was for others-- that if you could harness that fear and turn it to courage, you would have mastery over your world.  Left in the woods at night, she survived and found her way home.  Given a real blade, she could wield it and survive the nicks and cuts she earned with it.  She could stand, face to face, with the village boys and fight for her own survival.  And she did-- she focused on her training and became a competent fighter.

Until one day, entirely by accident, she almost killed a boy-- some three years her senior-- while fighting him on a dare from her teasing peers.  One moment she was reeling behind his more powerful, longer-armed swipes-- the next, she had emitted electricity that knocked the boy unconscious... he would have died had the village's healer not been summoned to aid him.

Finally, after urging from Marellus, her grandmother admitted that her daughter's magic may have passed its way to Jude, and that her father-- Gaius Talonius-- might one day call on her.

Jude was apprenticed to an eastern sword-sage to learn to harness, and summon, both her innate power and other abilities that could be garnered through the study of magic. The move was an unorthodox one; the only sword-sage that Marellus could find with the proper abilities and experience to tutor the young Magus was a n Akkaalian Court-Blade-- a guild rumored to be everything from dark magic practitioners at best to murderous, assassin prostitutes at worst.  Akkaali was far from home, both in geography and in ideology, and many practices among the foreign culture would be considered morally taboo by her own country.  Through the training she received for the next few years, she excelled in her control and in the arts of swordplay not taught to soldiers, but to the duelists and bodyguards of a culture that practiced polygamy, culturally accepted prostitution, and integrated open sexuality into its religious practices.

It was a formative time for her, and she was never able to fully reconcile her identity as being one of her home nation or one of the foreign culture.  On her eighteenth birthday she answered the summons to join with the children of Talonius far from her home.  She remembers enough of her youth to blend in among the structured culture of these warring houses, but she has never truly learned to be part of that culture inside, and her confusion risks offense in the wrong circumstances.

Looks interesting char there Ixy :). Anyways I will pick wand of cure light wounds but most other bardic spells would be more utility purposes and be face person of the group (and general lore person).

Anyways, my stat rolls;

First
Stats:10, 14, 15, 10
Second
Stats: 14, 14, 11, 17

Second series clearly are most best rolls so take that one. Big question what the 8 would be :P.

I may actually put my +2 racial bonus from being a human into the 8 to turn it into a 10... at least for the swashbuckler.

Very interesting setup. I'd like to go ahead and throw my hat into the ring.

Tragon Tralonius
Human, Male, Investigator 4
Party role: Skillmonkey, face, general busybody

Tragon is a slight, bookish looking fellow just entering adulthood. He is a natural son of Gaius Talonius. His mother, Fellana, was the mayor of the small town of Toropen. She still serves there, shepherding the small mining community and ensuring the town's safety. Tragon was raised with the ideal of serving the people; that those of exceptional skill and ability are required, by mandate, to put their skills toward the service of others. When he received the call from Crassus he eagerly packed his few belongings and made the journey to Garados, ready to put his meager abilities to the cause that his father had laid out.

Tragon is a bright lad of 19 who has read every book available to him in Toropen from cover to cover, at least twice. Although somewhat sickly, he believes himself to be heroic of heart, and has often gotten in over his head battling the ogres who plague his hometown. Only the quick action of the warriors of the town, including his mother, has saved him from an untimely death. Tragon has a somewhat unrealistic view of the world, fueled by his consumption of heroic fantasies and tales of valor vastly inflated from the truth. Though he longs to be hero, his skills will likely benefit Gaius' legacy more in the administration of his new town. He is eager to make his name, but perhaps unrealistic in his personal capability to do so. On the positive side, his practical knowledge of the administration of a mining town should prove useful to Garados' development, even if Tragon would rather be out in the field slaying monsters and saving maidens.

Not quite complete yet, but here we go:

Fluff
Among the boon companions of Gaius Talonius was a noble swordsman, Baron Syrio of House Aldori. When the time came for Gaius Talonius to seek concubines, one of Baron Syrio's nieces, an ingenue by the name of [Mother's name], offered herself, despite her own noble bloodline, having become enamored of the Savior of Viemera. To Gaius, she bore but one son - Edmund.

Though Gaius himself had precious little time to spare to get to know his son, Edmund's great-uncle Syrio took Edmund under his wing, schooling Edmund in the ways of swordplay.
As he matured into adulthood, noble dandies challenged him to duels to the death, thinking to teach the abrasive bastard a lesson, to show him for the illegitimate coward they thought he must be. Unwilling to lose face, Edmund accepted each challenge and won, leaving a dozen corpses in his wake over the years, and, in the course of doing so, came to recognize himself as bloodthirsty, never feeling more alive than when he was fighting for his life, never feeling more alive than when he was fighting to kill.

There was one person aside from his great-uncle that Edmund grew close to; the Baron's grand-daughter and Edmund's second cousin, Elizabeth. Despite the age gap between them, they bonded, for Elizabeth, despite being the legitimate heir to House Aldori, never treated Edmund any differently for being a bastard. Elizabeth, despite her youth, proved to be a prodigy of swordplay, and, while Edmund had more experience than she, it quickly became apparent she was even more naturally talented than he, though jealousy never soured the relationship between the two.

However, Edmund was dismayed to learn that young Elizabeth had challenged a peer to a duel for speaking words that slighted Edmund. His dismay only grew as he watched on. Though Elizabeth's swordplay and talent was by far superior to that of her opponent, it was readily apparent to him that, unlike him, she did not relish the blood; if anything, it distressed her intensely, and the duel drew on far longer than it ought to, considering the vast gap between them, finally Elizabeth's opponent surrendered, ashen-faced, bloodied, but alive. Even so, Elizabeth's distress faded only slowly.

It dawned on Edmund that he was a negative influence on Elizabeth, and it was not a week later that he received the missive from Crassus Antillus. Taking it as a sign, he said his goodbyes, and, promising to write, set out for Garados.

He writes Elizabeth letters still, and though his intent is to tell her tales of men and women that would serve as better examples to her than he was, as often as not, he still ends up talking about himself and his exploits.
Edmund idolizes his father and his accomplishments, and fully intends to live up to the man his father was - though his idea of living up to those accomplishments involves building respect and renown for House Talonius and slaying any demons he might cross paths with more than it does charity or altruism.

This sounds wonderful.  Ebb already thought of my initial idea, so I came up with something else.  I am thinking of playing the world's smartest fighter.  He would be an archer primarily as well as a secondary skill monkey.  I like the idea of him really wanting to be accepted by the proper nobles, and that being a big drive of his. Ability scores below are after race modifier and level 4 increase.

Magus is a cool class.  The fighter/mage combo is so much fun, and magus does it so well.  I wanted something a little clumsier, which is why I went the multiclass route.  He has a bit more utility, but lacks the burst damage that a magus can put out.  However, it does offer a small amount of healing as well.

The idea is that melee combat is too *fast* for my character, and that he prefers to sit back and shoot/cast, where he doesn't get overwhelmed.

Name: Pénelope "Penny" d'Aumont
Race: Halfling
Class: Rogue 3 / Wizard 1
Abilities roll #1: 11, 14, 15, 15
Abilities roll #2: 10, 11, 12, 11
Hit Dice rolls: 6, 6, 3
Sheet: http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=1071359

Background:
Penny is the "daughter" of one of Gaius Talonius' followers, a wizard by the name of Taltus d'Aumont; A survivor of an ambush on caravan of some of the world's remaining halflings, she was adopted by the goodly wizard, and given the blessing of House Talonius by her "godfather." Well, as adventurers often do, Taltus and Gaius had a falling-out and went their separate ways, with Taltus taking his toddler "daughter" with him. The duo settled on the outskirts of Albiez-Tende, a town seeking to reclaim the now-wild hills. For several years, the aging wizard raised Penny as both his daughter and apprentice, subtly guiding her to be his heir as he assisted the town in their goals.
Of course, it wasn't dusty tomes and cleaning up after Taltus' flock of ravens that consumed most of the growing girl's time. No, you see, Taltus needed... things. Reagents. Items. An occasional purse of gold. Maybe a scroll held by a mage or adventurer passing through. His daughter - his apprentice - served this function, of slipping out to "fetch' what he needed... Or on occasion, to poke holes in the plans of petty rivals; for though Taltus was, at heart, a good man, he was also an imperfect man, and jealous of his position.
So Penny grew up, quick as a whip and sharp as a thistle, as adept with playing the noble's daughter, as the wizard's apprentice, or the cunning sneak. To the rest of the town, t was a small wonder that the old coot in the tower with his potions and magics could raise such a bright and charming little thing. So what if in occasion she "found" a few lost coins, or that Scroll of Disguise Self, or snuck a glass of Old Daell's apple brandy?
When the missive from Crassus Antillus came to the far-flung mountain hamlet, Taltus was heartbroken. Though he and Gaius had last spoken words in anger, they had still been friends and allies, and had shared blood and woes. He bade his daughter to travel with the man, to deliver his condolences to Crassus firsthand, and to do her family proud. Enchanted by the lure of the world beyond the stony hills and frosty streams of her home (and the glow of gold on the messenger's fingers), Penny could only happily promise she would do exactly that.

Personality:
Penny is quick; quick of thought, tongue, and finger. She always has some quip or remark, and seems to mysteriously always have just the tool for th job. She is enamored by gold and jewels, and more than one "mission" from her father nearly failed due to the lure of a bright gem or garland of silver lattice. when in good company, she plays the "Noble's Daughter" facade smoothly, the pretty sweet thing in a silken gown... but given the opportunity, she'll trade out the slippers for clogs, the coronet for a bandanna, and spend the night rattling dice and sneaking wine from under the barkeeper's nose.
On a more serious note, she's well aware of her status as one of the world's remaining halflings; while she's certain that there are more that the world has simply overlooked (she was raised by a human and is still a master of stealth; imagine what halflings raised as halflings might do!) she's quite interested in possible ways to bring her kind back from the brink. They'll never be what the books say they once were, obviously, but there must be something to bring them back from the brink...

Party Role: Penny is the scout and troubleshooter. Basically a walking toolbox that an hold up in combat (or at least, not drop dead immediately.) Hosts a wide range of skills, a variety of useful spells, and enough wit and luck to last until it all comes together.

I am leaning towards "Ametha" a Synthesist Summoner.  She would be a seventeen year old human.

Ametha was the daughter of Gaius and Ariana, a Lady-in-Waiting to a noblewoman of some power.  Ametha grew up in a noble household, but was seen as an annoyance and embarrassment, especially as the political infighting began.  No one quite dared to get rid of her, but it was always strongly implied that she would eventually have to repay the family for their kindess.

For her part, Ametha cared little for the noble's snide remarks and plotting.  She wanted to be a great knight like her father Gaius, and spent every waking moment trying to convince various guards and knights to teach her to fight.  She was generally laughed off due to a frail build, and in her desperation turned to magic instead.  She studied, but could find little of use except in the darker magics that she refused to dabble in.  She was beginning to give up hope when she stumbled across a little known form of magic.  It allowed Ametha to summon a powerful spirit and wear it almost like a suit of armour.  Its form shimmered around her, boosting her strength and durability.  Proud and confident, she set out to follow in her father's footsteps.

A quick write up, but wanted to post something before I headed to bed.  Basically a sword wielding summoner.  She would replace (when it is summoned) her own physical ability scores with its, would use its armour, and its BAB.  Its health would be counted as temporary, and the armour would vanish when she took too much damage.

indarkestknight

Aha well if someone else is interested in playing a Synthesist, perhaps I shouldn't write up my second character after all. After all, I had been going to use the idea of someone frail like Elric or Raistlin, too...

Given that there is a lot of magic in this group, I think I'll go pure "archer" (fighter/rogue hybrid) and just use Use Magic Device for healing items.  I'll take Pragmatic Activator so I can use Int for it.

I was writing a Bio and realized I had a question: Have Gaius' children distinctly never met him? Were the children left with their mother or adopted into his orphanages?  Or is it acceptable to say that my character found him before leaving his side to make her 'own legacy?'

EDIT: Also, it doesn't effect my Bio -- but will we know that dear old Dad is dead when we get there?

Those born by his seed would be too young/not yet born to meet him. Adopted children may have some to several memories of him depending on how old they were when they were adopted.

The letter sent out to the heirs would have mentioned their father's passing, so everybody would be aware of this fact.

Still working on appearance and background, have a couple of questions.

Does Craft: Rod, Wand or Staff sound sensible to anyone?  He wouldn't personally benefit from these, as the cost of such items seem to only account for the spell cost.  Same for rings.  However, it seems a respectable enough hobby and ties into his Use Magic Device theme.  I have a total of 5 unspent skill points, looking for something that adds flavor to the character.  Additionally, if there's a craft skill that would benefit a sibling, please speak up.

Do we know anything about Dad's religious beliefs, if any?

Tiergan Talonius

Tiergan, like many young men of the time, was brought up to know combat.  Being the son of a hero with the memories of all out war still on the minds of his elders, he was trained in combat from a young age.  Despite being capable enough physically, it was his mind that impressed his tutors, and he proved amazingly adept at pinpointing weaknesses in his opponents, and memorizing the strengths and weaknesses of all manner of creatures.  Unfortunately, his reactions were not quite ideal, and he became overwhelmed quickly in combat, one of two factors that steered him toward archery.

His "sparring partner" had been younger, weaker, far less experienced with a blade...and female.  Initially, he'd fared well, his superior technique and strength keeping her at bay, but then she surprised him once and he suddenly lost consciousness.  It wasn't until afterward that he'd learned what she had managed.  Being up close and having trouble keeping up with her speed, he hadn't noticed it happening at all.

As an archer, he was able to survey the battlefield from afar, which suited him slightly better.  In addition, he could target weak spots in stance and armor without the pressure of defending himself at the same time.  Tiergan stoically bore the initial insults, nonplussed at their accurate accusation that he was a failed swordsman, but content with the fact that he was a master marksman.  Soon enough his difficulties with swordsmanship were rarely mentioned.

He was overjoyed to receive the summons to Renrir, eager for both a fresh start as well as the excitement of accomplishment, though saddened to learn that his father had died.  He'd already experienced the condescension from proper nobles, and rather than anger, Tiergan found he wanted to be accepted by them.  After all, he was intelligent, of excellent lineage (in his eyes), and capable.  Why shouldn't he be respected as a noble?  It was something he was determined to see through.

You seem to be under the impression he was readily accessible; at most he spent a year a particular village before moving on to help the next. Tracking him down would have been difficult, particularly since he did his best to fly under the radar to prevent noble politics from finding him and making his mission all the more tedious. Over the past decade or so before his demise, he practically vanished off the map as he was setting roots in Renrir and building it up to a village in the most remote reaches of the frontier.

Lockepick

Right, that was actually my first assumption -- I just wanted to confirm that. I was only confused because you used the timeline as a reason why we hadn't met him -- when I had just assumed that he was simply inaccessible.

My submission should be up soon!

Lynn Talonius
Female Human Fighter
Bio
Lynn was born to one of Gaius' concubines from a village he had helped save from themselves. She spend the early parts of her adolescence with her mohter in that Podunk village, being told all the stories and glory of Gaius, both from the war, and from what the villagers themselves saw of him. When she was only a teenager, she decided she wanted to try to find Gaius, but had little in regards to leads or resources to do so. She made her way to the capital city. There she was met with either disbelief or disinterest given her announced lineage. She took a job as a mundane guard, the men in charge believing that actual work would shake the insolence out of her. In the years to come, her bravery and prowess couldn't go unnoticed, and she rose up the ranks. She never denied her name, even if it set her back more than it helped her, but she treated it as a mark of pride, not as a reason for special treatment. She earned respect from the guards, soldiers, and the townspeople themselves; though enamoring those groups just made the nobles even more annoyed by her.

When the call came, she made no pause in attending to it. She retired from the Guard, much to their dismay and set out into the wilderness where the instructions directed her...

Personality
Nobody would assume Lynn was a noble. She wasn't content to just accept that mantle given to her, she wanted to earn it, how her Father did. Her preference towards the 'lower class' and contempt for the other nobles made her associate more with the former. Lynn is blunt, maybe crass; she's direct, maybe rude; she's gregarious, maybe lax. She believes in the cause of defending those who can't defend themselves, and is perhaps too eager to throw herself into that cause.

Does anyone round here have trouble doing sexy RP with a curvy halfling girl?

But since Lokis' bringing in a 'war priest' (Cleric of a war god?) maybe I just want to pitch a wizard or sorceress.  :

I think the only race I would have trouble getting into naughty times with would be a half-orc. At least when it comes to the core races.

I'll probably post my character tonight, but the warpriest (cleric-fighter hybrid class) is a low-progression caster. He'll have stuff like fervor (weaker lay on hands) and enhanced cures, but the difference can probably be made up with wands since there seems to be plenty of characters applying who have that ability among some of the classes who are also minor healers.

None here. It'd be difficult to play one if there were a problem  O8)

And are you sure about that, Loki?
Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide

Way I figure it, green skin was good enough for Captain Kirk, right?

Ebb

Loki, do you want full characters now or were you still planning to make a decision based on bio and personality, and then have those who make it in build to suit?

Huh... I stand corrected.

I'm still just going on bios and personalities, so no need to work on the mechanics if you would prefer to wait until after you're approved to do that.

Zaer Darkwail

I did mechanics part already along with the bio (which is reused I know). I changed just from melee bard to ranged bard (no shooting feats yet as focused on fiendish heritage to be actual erodaemon spawn and improved initiative is too good to pass). I also brought cloak of human disguise so my char does not need cast spell on himself appear human. But he would none the less act as non-Talonious albeit he is Gaius biological son.

He just flies under radar both not add further 'dirt' to Gaius name nor make his fellow siblings life difficult but it would be nice if his relation would be discovered and revealed Gaius read the books (and enjoyed them) which he wrote under 'Red Fox' author name.

Ershin

Hmm, unfortunately I don't think I'm going to make the wednesday deadline. Had an interview to prepare for on the same day, though depending on time zones and the actual time of the deadline I might just be able to get  abackground prepared. I'd been planning to make either a Magus (with the Kensai and Bladebound archetypes, though I believe another applicant already went for a Magus) or a shield-based Warpriest (increasing the shield's damage, scaling with the Warpriest... sometimes throw it like I'm Captain America or something).

Mind if I ask if by Wednesday you meant using 23:59 on Tuesday as a deadline or 23:59 Wednesday? Or some other time during the day (and if so which time zone)?

Also I'm going to add to Chulnowa's collection of sexy half-orcs because that seems to be a thing that's happening and I want to help prove such a concept exists.

And that's without anyone even posting any pictures of Garona.

I'll have the full application shortly.  Building a concept for a Sorceress with the impossible bloodline.

Largo Valerian Talonius
Human Warpriest of Milani
Character Sheet

Personality: At first appearance Largo seems to be the stoically silent sort of person, but this is mainly a result of his tendency to get lost in his daydreams easily and often.  When his mind is snapped back to reality, he is very friendly and more than eager to lend a hand however he can; certainly not the sort who is afraid of hard work or of getting his hands dirty.  Passive in nature, he is very hesitant to harm others, but at the same time won’t hesitate to help those in need and even take a hit for someone who will likely weather the blow worse than him.  Despite his good natured persona, Largo has a hair trigger when it comes to those with power or status who abuse it through arrogance or oppression.  To him, authority over others is a privilege and responsibility, not a right, and those who forget their place in their seat of power deserve to have it broken over their back.

Bio: Largo’s earliest memories when he was a child was of the daily fear his parents endured in their upstart frontier hamlet that was ‘under the rule by decree’ of a gang of bandits who decided to set up their encampment nearby.  The few months he could remember of those days were confusing as he bore witness to several things that his innocence of youth prevented him from fully comprehending, despite his parents’ best attempts to shield him from such violence and depravity.  The pinnacle of those memories was the day a group of men broke through their front door, cut down his father, and abducted his mother.  Acting on the values his salt-of-the-earth father instilled in him, Largo retrieved the dagger his father had used in his brief tussle before being slain and gave chase.  The ‘fight’ went about as well as one would expect; one of the bandits repaid the kid’s valor with a contemptuous strike of his blade that cut the lad open in a single diagonal line from pectoral to waist.  Devastated at the loss of both her husband and seeing her only child bleeding out in the street, his mother began to thrash frantically against her attackers until a violent shove sent her to the ground where her head met a rock with lethal results.

As Largo laid still in the dirt feeling the confusion and fear as vitality drained from him, his skyward gaze was obstructed by the men in heavy metal armor charging upon warhorses.  The next thing he knew, a man was hovering over him, azure eyes searching his for life and all Largo could think was how much the man’s heavily salted dark hair on both his head and face reminded him of his father.  Just before he lost consciousness, he felt something cool press between his lips allowing a sweet liquid to flow into his mouth and down his throat.  Instantly he could feel his pain lessen, but the wariness remained and he slept heavily.

Over the course of the next several weeks, the men and women riding under the banner of Talonius eradicated the bandit gang to a man and set up residence in the town to offer it protection and guidance while the people recovered from their ordeal.  It was also during this time that Largo was adopted by the very man who saved his life.  While it was difficult for him to adjust to the sudden change in his life and initially awkward to see Gaius as a father figure, the several months he spent in the town provided him plenty of opportunity to bond with him, distracted as he was by his duties in getting the settlement established.  When the time for teary-eyed good-byes came, Largo was left under the supervision of Gaelle, one of the combat healers who travelled with Gaius until falling in love with a local blacksmith named Marcus.

Under the tutelage of his guardian and ambition fueled by the determination to protect others as his adoptive father and biological father had done, Largo learned the art of combat and restorative magics.  His experience with seeing the devastation caused when power corrupts left an indelible scar both on his psyche and his body, keeping him humble and giving him purpose.  Largo vowed to protect life and his fighting style reflected that mantra; the use of a sickle to harass and muddle opponent and a shield to protect and attack.  Eventually he came across the teachings of Milani and found a resonance with what she represented.  It wasn’t long after that Marcus crafted him a fine shield bearing the emblem of a rose growing out of a blood-soaked street.

When the letter arrived announcing Gaius’ demise and his inheritance, Largo saw it as an opportunity to repay his adoptive father.  He did not hesitate to answer the call and make his way to Renrir where he would continue the legacy of protecting those in need.

As an oopsie oversight on my part in the first post, I forgot to mention in the character creating portion that all of the heirs are given a signet ring that only they can wear bearing the insignia of House Talonius.

They would mature at half-elf rate.  If she is blood-related then she would likely be 20 and among the first of Gaius' biological children.

Well, nevertheless, i rolled out Penny's hit points and finalized her sheet (except for equipment, of course - 8k gold worth of stuff isn't something I want to spend time sorting out before i know if I'm in...)

Well, his ghostwriter alias wrote Gaius very unfavorable light and so I think it kinda fits to his mental state at that point have similarities to Fred Sanford :P. He was like twelve when he started wrote those books (only thanks high education he wrote like adult man).

Anyways Gilbert is 25 if wondering who is 'eldest' biological child. It's base idea was that Gaius fell in love with Gilbert's mother (and was long lasting relationship) until betrayal struck and it took likely years to recover from it to start take concubines (unable form lasting bonds thanks Gilbert's mother being ultimate manipulative bitch).

Lockepick

I had planned for Lynn to be 20, but not sure I ever got to putting that exact number in her bio.

It is now time for me to announce the characters I selected for this campaign; it literally took me all day weighing my options and it was a very hard decision since there were so many strong character concepts.  I want to first thank everybody who submitted a character and say that even though you might not have gotten selected in this initial wave, should spots open up you very well may get a PM from me seeing if you’re still interested to play should some spots open up.  So without further delay:

*Jude Talonius – Magus – Ixy
*Tragon Talonius – Investigator – Ebb
*Edmund Talonius – Swashbuckler – Indarkestknight
*Pénelope "Penny" d'Aumont – Rogue/Wizard – Chulanowa
*Lynn Talonius – Fighter – Lockepick

And I know I was looking for only 4-5, but it was such a difficult choice that I had to allow a sixth:

*Aralyn Moonflower-Talonius – Sorceress – Muse

Please post your character sheets in the OOC, which can be found here.

kckolbe

NOOOOO!  I'll keep the char sheet saved.  Best of luck and I'll watch for a PM.
