Game Idea and Garnering Interest:
Everyone knows that Candlekeep is a famous Library Fortress that is a bastion of enlightenment and knowledge on the Sword Coast. It houses a magnificent collection of books and scrolls of lore, and the greatest collection of writings in all of Faerun. What if that is also a special collection of pornography, but not just normal crude drawings or stories but magical pornographic books and scrolls, cursed items and artifacts? What better organisation than Candlekeep to maintain this collection, roam Faerun to keep these items from the general “chaste” populace, and of course welcome any additions to its already vast magical pornographic collection?

Due to my experience in E, the game will not be a long campaign as such but a series of short adventures. I will start with a core group of starting players, but I can accept later additions to replace any players lost to attrition. However, I do plan to start with around 4 – 6 players. Players will encounter devious traps and erotic puzzles, magical spells and curses, magic beasts and all things summoned, mind control and possible mindbreak, and of course NC shenanigans. I will be drawing some of my inspiration from Japanese hentai and fantasy what ifs. So if you are a fan, this may interest you. Characters do not have to know one another but may if they wish to.

I envisage this to be a Dungeons and Dragons 5e game of third level. I want to start at this level as it is low enough to make a few things challenging but high enough to enable players to specialize and roam the wilds of Faerun. This will be a forum game in the Extreme section as I can foresee some interesting things happening to players. Because of this, I would appreciate if all players either post or DM me their limits. I intend the game to be 50/50 storyline and smut. Game rules will be as per the usual D&D books. Posting frequency will be at the very least twice a week. Once there is enough interest, I will require players to submit a character sheet. But in the meantime, please post a character concept of at least 3 paragraphs (An image) with added ons/offs with limits or restrictions either posted or DMed to me. I will leave this thread open until the 14th of April before I decide to start the game based on interest.

I am happy to answer any questions and am open to any suggestions. Communication is important to me and will be one of my requirements going forwards. Of course. The normal rules and channel etiquette applies.

Sure! 

So basically she’s a Draconic Bloodline Sorceress (though she doesn’t know it). She was ostracized from her community because of an incident involving accidentally breaking part of a temple as a kid. As such, she became a bit of a recluse and spent most of her time studying in libraries. She’s incredibly intelligent, but is very awkward around people.

This, of course, has led her to be incredibly sexually repressed and having her only experience come from books. So when an opportunity to collect artifacts and tomes for this wing of Candlekeep, how could she say no? Purely for the research, of course. She’s an academic, after all, definitely not seeking to experience such delights she’s only read about.

Valencia would spend 3 years as the dragon's captive, his "bride" so to speak. She would entertain and delight him in all manner of ways, having to learn fast how to keep him happy, knowing that at any moment he might grow bored of her and burn her to a crisp. She had seen the bones of his previous "brides" as proof. The girl had long given up hope of seeing the outside world again when they appeared. They were her hero, her savior, her knight in shinning armor (if only figuratively). She knew not if the village had sent her to rescue her, or if they were motivated solely by the dragon's treasure hoard. Honestly it didn't matter to her. As the hero faced off against the dragon, she feverishly prayed to every God whose name she knew to aid them, and to her surprise one of them answered...

In the end her scaly "husband" laid dead, and she was finally free. When she gazed upon her savior, the one who literally slew a dragon to free her from her enslavement, the feeling that welled inside her wasn't gratitude, it was pure, helpless love. She dedicated herself to them with slavish devotion. Which was fitting, for even after being freed, Valencia still continues to wear her chains, a constant reminder of her time in the dragon's lair, a reminder to never be that helpless again. It does have the unfortunate side effect of causing people to sometimes assume that she's still a slave, owned by her lover. She doesn't particularly mind this, and in fact will sometimes play into it if she thinks it's funny.

Born to a conclave of Surface Drow in Cormanthor and blessed with beauty, it was a near certainty that Wodeyl would be marked to become a Sword Dancer. Though she was graceful in the physical motions of the blade dance, she would prove to be a failure when it came to matters of piety and divine guidance. Still, in a land as dangerous as Faerun, there was no shortage of need for warriors. Though the visits of travellers and stories beyond the woods, joined with the pitying looks of the rest of the conclave drove Wodeyl to seek adventure in the wider world.

Throughout her free-spirited journeys, unrestrained by her past failure, she travelled wide and experienced much. Her heritage would often be a curse and a blessing. Less welcoming insular communities were to be avoided, but she found that some of the realm's monsters would fear her. Obey her. Or just capture her for a while. In these side-adventures in monster dens, Wodeyl developed quite the strange and perhaps unhealthy kink. Enjoying being bed by monsters. Often quite roughly. But in these debauched detours from her journey, Wodeyl developed a knack for escaping. Quite handy if a particular monster clan wasn't keen on letting her just walk out.

When her wandering landed her more westward, towards the Sword Coast, she picked up rumors of a strange group of adventurous individuals seeking out the depraved, the cursed and the downright pornographic. This sounded like a fun distraction to Wodeyl, and so she sought out Candlekeep, to see if they would have her.

I don't have any hard presets in mind or anything like that, though I do have a strong preference towards having a female/futa character for her partner, with futa being the top choice. I've noticed looking through your posts that you've only played male characters before, so I don't know if that's in your wheelhouse/comfort zone or not.

I didn’t picture any scales being revealed until she gains that ability where she gets scales under her skin to add AC. When she gets hit then, it would be revealed. Though maybe her magic has a draconic “flavor” she recognizes and that’s what makes her attack?

Well the dragon scales thing is a level 1 ability and normally it's over the skin, which is why I would assume it's always visible. If it's a hidden thing for her then I won't contrive Valencia being able to magically figure it out.

Huh. I’m an idiot, I thought that happened at 6. Though I always flavored it as the scales were under the skin and they were only revealed in the full color after a sizable slash. Maybe she just thinks she has plaque psoriasis but it’s actually her skin raised over her scales?

@pdragon - Like the concept except for the part of the dragon being vanquished especially lower level parties. They more than likely pulled a very very lucky escape (everyone is 3rd level after all). Ultimately it's your character, you can have them not have any visible scales at all if you don't want them. It's up to you.

Just escaping is fine too. Fulfills the same purpose in the end. That or maybe it was just a much weaker dragon/dragon-offshoot than everyone realized. Having the dragon still out there could be fun, and would explain her paranoia around anything dragon related.

Where could she ever find fresh inspiration in a city where its denizens had a one in twenty chance she’d suckled on their naughty bits?!?

Her patron, as helpful as they were horny, reminded her that if it was research she needed… Candlekeep had the largest collection of blue literature in the sword coast. Scrolls that hadn’t seen eyes or moistened thighs in centuries. With her research options limited to either Candlekeep or attending a kobold cricket game for new material, the former sounded infinitely less dangerous than hiding in a public kobold privy during halftime.

For this concept/play. I'd add the following to the On's; Monster, Tentacles, Non-Consensual, Exotic Creatures.

Chance, not her real name. Grew up as a street kid in Baldur's Gate. Not that she didn't know her parents or at least her mother, just knowing off her father but her mother had little time to look out for her during the day and Chance was left to look out for herself on the streets during the day.

This environment and a desire for more then her mother had, led to her falling in with a bad crowd but a crowd that gave her the opportunity for more and among that more was her innate curiosity and love of learning. This making her stand out compared to the other low level members of the Thieves Guild and earning some training from a wizard working for the Guild.

This curiosity has the habit of getting her into trouble enough that she earned the nickname that she currently uses and also has driven her to spread her horizons beyond the life she knows as a member of the Guild. She wants to learn more, see more, live more and staying in one place in one city just isn't enough to answer that desire.

Figaro Pickins

Race: Human
Class: Artificer
The bonvivant Figaro hails from the City of Danger, Mulmaster, on the southern coast of the Moon Sea.  Mulmaster heavily regulates the use of magic, severely sanctioning even the most innocuous use of arcana.  It is in this context that Figaro came by his ability to imbue items with magic at an early age.  In the beginning, his magical wares were mere trifles and inoffensive baubles, the sort that one could find for coppers at any market in the Sword Coast.  But these magical wares were soon discovered by the Soldiery and, as a result, his parents--peasants who were truly ignorant of his abilities--were fined out of house and home.  Figaro, at the tender age of twelve, was imprisoned.

How he escaped the Cloaks of Mulmaster, as well as much of his life, remains a mystery.  But like all bungling magical adepts, his path led to Candlekeep.  There, Figaro devotes much of his time and energy developing and testing magical contraptions for sexual gratification.  He is currently at work developing a robot sex slave, and he hopes to use Candlekeep's massive porn archives to teach the automaton how to be of better service.

Celes Longheis

When Celes was young, two things became apparent. She was particularly skilled with magic and most of the people in her village hated her. She never understood why, even when she simply minded her business and visited the library to read. On a particularly stressful, Celes had a moment and accidentally lost control of her magic, causing part of the temple at the center of town to be destroyed. That led the village to finally chase her out of town, leading her to be all alone.

After a time of drifting, Celes was taken in by an arcane research center in Baldur's Gate. Over the next few years, Celes would study ancient lore and tomes while also learning to control her magic better. Soon, her talents were noticed by Candlekeep and she gladly accepted a position as a librarian in their great halls. However, one day Celes found a copy of an early work by Candy Snatchpickle and found herself enjoying the contents. Perhaps a little too much, considering she quickly read her entire bibliography and bought each new installment as soon as it released. See, with very little experience with being friendly with anyone, let alone intimate, such works were her only exposure to such things. As such, a desire to experience it for herself began to rise within her heart, only matched by her nervousness to actually act on it. So when the offer came to become part of a team to help collect and preserve more..."interesting" artifacts, she quickly agreed before her anxiety could say no.

Celes is an incredibly intelligent woman who is experienced in applying her magic to a problem. However, she is also incredibly anxious and awkward around people, leading her to have very few friends and still being a virgin in her late 20s. She has read every single one of Candy's books and dreams of being able to experience something beyond just her hand. As such, any person offering her even the slightest bit of praise or touch has her melting in their grasp.

Ons: Wants to try most anything at least once based on how Candy described the sensations in her books. However, she finds monster encounters, mind control, and being bound and dominated to be particularly exciting. She's unaware that she is a pansexual, so any encounter with anyone will get her excited.

Ayla grew up deep within the forest and was always drawn towards beauty. She was raised to be a devoted follower of the Goddess Hanali. She found beauty everywhere she went and started recording that natural beauty. 

Although many of her kind and satisfied to stay deep within the woods and never leave their shimmering castles Ayla was different. She has had a wanderlust since she could remember, to travel the world and experience the sights and scenes.

She is always gathering herbs and ingredients for making healing potions or enhancing potions. She thinks that enlightenment is only possible when one’s outlook is modified either through potions, magics, or extreme experiences.

Ayla is keenly interested in studying pleasure and hedonism as well as beauty. Unlike most of her elven breatheren, she likes getting involved and actively participating.

During one of her adventurers she found herself trapped by an item and sent through a portal to the opposite side of the world, near Candlekeep.

She’s been living in the forest for the last year or two, surviving off of the lands and planning how to spread her mission of healing through pleasure. She became enraptured by the natural ebb and flow of nature in the forest, the life and death cycles and has fully embraced beauty in all of its forms.

She has recently learned there are alteration magics that can enhance beauty and pleasure, this knowledge has fascinated her to learn aa much as she can and experiment on both herself and anyone willing to find out more on how to maximize the limitless potential of nature and potion making.

She’s grown adept at making natural potions through trial and error and is inspired by the potions created by nymphs and satyrs,  These potions increase arousal and libido to absurd proportions and work rather effectively. She needs to gather all of the rare ingredients, then make sure the potions work, and finally share the knowledge with those at Candlekeep to make sure the knowledge is not only not lost, but fully embraced and able to change the future.

Concept: Varral comes from a large and rich family, but being the second male son he was somewhat pushed to take a path that didn't grant him a share of his family inheritance. Being tall and strong and brave, and not very clever, he was coaxed into a noble knightly order, the Order of the Burning Rose (or another similar canon stuff, I just made up the name). He trained hard under older and expert warriors and got knighted at age 17, then he served honourably for years, protecting pretty ladies, defeating ugly monsters and evil bandits, going to dances and concerts to show off his handsome face and his elegant, but always tasteful, attire.

At age 23 he kicked the proverbial hornet nest by discovering - not really him-him, he's too naive to be a detective, but some sharper informants: he just took the full brunt - that a dark cult, that pursued lust and sadism, had infiltrated not only a well respected church and some other institution, but also the local chapter of his own order. The judiciary and political aftermath was very confusing and Varral got a very embarrassed public praise, then he got kicked as far as possible by his officials: to Candlekeep, protecting a secret library of forbidden knowledge. He expected it to be fantastically powerful magic books, or ancient demonic scrolls made of human skin, and was pretty disappointed when he knew it was just porn. But hey, duty's duty, and his knightly vows commit him to protect and serve beauty wherever he finds it, even among shelves filled with that stuff.

ONS: being very handsome and strong and elegant and well mannered, he had his share of elegant and well mannered ladies (and gentlemen, too), so he developed an inclination towards rough sex (anal, vaginal, oral, breast play and more), unconventional and unpopular beauty, group sex, spanking and so on. Concept
I’d also like to entertain the idea of a Barbarian Princess, in her late teens or early twenties, whom is perhaps tainted with Orcish or elvish blood. She could either be a traditional barbarian or a ranger, depending on what was best for the group.

From an early age she was gifted with a brush and she would paint scenes of nature from her imagination. As she ripened like a fine wine, her skills become wider and more balanced, focusing on not just line work but brushwork as well. She would illustrate how the nymphs spread their juices and how the satyrs spread their seed. Sometimes she would imagine it and other times she would observe it.

She started collecting the pages into books that she found someone within Candlekeep to keep the safe and document them. She heads out for several months at a time and returns after a new book has been completed, illuminating an aspect of sex, love, or debauchery in unflinching detail.

She’d be next inline for the tribal Queen role or equivalent, but that was before some cataclysmic event nearly eradicated her people. She would’ve chosen to stay and fight but instead her father (or lover or someone close to her), sacrificed themselves so that she may live.

Jaziel would’ve been hurled through a portal and ended up near Candlekeep, first living off of the land and eventually entering Candlekeep and finding out more about its citizens and history.

She is insatiable in her curiosity, which is matched almost by her large oversized physique.

For those looking for a "Lust Goddess" there's,,, uh, kind of a few! Forgotten realms is kind of a horny setting even by default! You've got Sharess, the goddess of sensual pleasures, and her Elven equivalent, Hanali Celanil. You've got Sune, the goddess of beauty and love. If you've got a breeding kink, there's Shiallia, a Demigoddess of fertility and childbirth. And the Shortstacks have Sheela Peroyl, who again, not so much a "lust goddess" but is still somehow the Halfling goddess of fucking. There's also Eilistraee, who isn't really so much a "lust goddess" but can represent Drow femininity. Or Lliira who is basically the goddess of "enjoying yourself" (and also goddess of savate? It's weird)

Strangely not a lot of male deities in this direction. I mean Finder Wyvernspur is technically a (though not the) god of Bards, so one would expect some horniness out there?

You could be an artificer, Magikal.  The artificer has an alchemist subclass that would grok well with your idea.

As far as clerics go, there are only a few subclasses.  Arcana, Death, Forge, Grave, Knowledge, Life, Light, Nature, Order, Peace, Tempest, Trickery, Twilight, and War.  I suppose any one of these could be "lust" flavored.

Maybe start at what god you want your PC to worship.  Sune is considered the goddess of love and beauty.  Asmodeus is the god of indulgence.  Loviatar is the god of pain.

Misbibi (often incorrectly called either Miss Beebee or Missie by those she didn't grow up with) has been a scholar of the Parwiccan Cycle in Candlekeep for the majority of her life, having had a great interest in the Elven documentation of the creation of dragons and eventually their first encounter with elves, though her peers considered the compilation fairy tales and flights of fancy. Her thesis was created based on it and much of her factual study of draconic anatomy and behaviour was based upon it. From her graduation in her twenties she was a woman possessed on the study of the flying scaled behemoths, from the tyranny of chromatics to the often times benign metallics and their creator deities. It was when she had to start attending more and more of her graduating class's funerals that she began to look in envy at their longevity.

For five years she traced every scrap of material she had encountered previously and through trickery and bribes those sealed away for good reason until she finally found it. A book penned in the Third Century in which there was a description of the Rite of Rebirth - an ancient ritual going back to the Age of Dragons in which a holy warrior would dedicate themselves to Bahamut and be reborn and rejuvenated in their prime as a servant of the Platinum Dragon. This wouldn't do though, not at all, considering she had seen mentions of Fallen Dragonborn who their new father had stripped of their mantles if they committed acts unpalatable to him or through disobedience. Misbibi slaved away for further years to alter the ritual for her own benefit and remove the clause, then a further decade and every favour owed and copper coin to her name to obtain the materials needed to perform it, the most expensive piece of the puzzle being a dragon's scale. For a day she fasted, completed the ritual and burst forth from the egg she had constructed as Dragonborn. Now a full two feet taller, in her prime and with something a bit extra between her legs, likely the result of having used a male dragon's scale.

She was clumsy in her new body and had... intrusive thoughts. Her personality had shifted somewhat, she had expected the stoicism of a devotee of Bahamut but was unprepared by a newfound joviality and desire to play tricks on others. Another side-effect of the alterations to the ritual and that damnedable scale, it seemed her thoughts were now more in line with Copper dragons. Oh well, if all went well she would have several hundred more years to sort things out, right now she needed to have some adventure in her life instead of just being beholden to books. It simply wouldn't do to squander the opportunity to live in her new (albeit still unfamiliar) form. She had heard of a some of the students daring each other to join a party out to rescue a princess from a dragon, now that would be novel - to see a dragon up close and be paid for it? Superlative. Unless someone had already completed the request during her performance of the rite, in which case she would have a peek in the more lecherous areas of Candlekeep's library to sate other thoughts she was having from the addition of a new appendage.

Alamar originally was a combat medic in service to the Flaming Fist serving in campaigns for the protection of Baldur's Gate. Yevelda, on the other hand, grew up in this academic background, but found her blood running too hot to focus on tedious studies.  In school she excelled in sports and more vapid society.  By the time she was supposed to be ready to enter a wizard circle, cleric seminary, or even bard college, she had only vaguely chosen to study “sports medicine.”  Fed up with her flighty nature that wouldn’t take advantage of the opportunities they provided, Yev’s parents sent her to Candlekeep to buckle down away from youthful distractions.  But a hot girl finds friendly distraction wherever she goes, and even Candlekeep has its less scholarly publications.

So the amount of interest sort of caught me by surprise. To keep things moving, I will make some decisions a little earlier and perhaps even start by the beginning of next week. So if you have not got a concept up or want to make wee changes, please do so. 

I am in the midst of getting a couple of things organised like OOC and character sheet pages up and running. I also plan to use discord for a dice bot until we have a dice bot in place here in E. If anyone has alternatives they can think of for a dice mechanism, let me know.

Oh my! That's a lot of interest here already, and I seem to be quite late to the party! But, welp, this sounds like it's really right down my alley, so I just have to throw my hat in as well! ^_^

I wrote this with an Enchantment Wizard in mind, but honestly I think the exact same concept could work just as well with a Glamour Bard. I'm happy to go with either of those, honestly; depending on what would fit the party best!

Baron Cuvillier may be a minor noble, but he is a very affluent one. When his wife gave birth to a daughter, Elodie, he made absolutely sure his perfect little girl would always have everything she could dream of. Beautiful clothes, attentive servants, best food, Elodie had it all. And her education wasn't lacking, either. Elodie had a string of highly talented tutors teach her poetry, etiquette, music -- all the very important skills required of a young noble-woman and future Baroness.

As she grew older, Elodie showed a keen intellect and fascination with arcane magic. Not one to stifle his daughter's interest, Baron Cuvillier searched for a magic tutor, and found one: an elven enchantress by the name of Shanyala. Shanyala moved in with the family and tutored Elodie throughout her teenage years, and Elodie, being a quick learner, became a fledgling Wizard in no time.

But it was only after she grew up to be a young woman that Shanyala could teach what her branch of enchantment was really about. In short, Shanyala taught Elodie that in order to be a powerful Enchantress, she needed to create tension. The more tension, the greater grasp Elodie would have of her surroundings, of her targets; and, in turn, the more powerful her enchantment magic would become.

What tension, you ask? Why, sexual tension, of course.

Shanyala has taught Elodie to be a relentless flirt, and the ultimate tease. Every time she opens her mouth, you feel like she's flirting with you. Every time she moves, you feel like she's showing off her body in the most seductive way. Every time she looks you in the eye, it feels like she wants you to fuck her, right now. But she won't. It's about the tension.

Elodie grew up to be the ultimate forbidden fruit. Well-mannered, eloquent, highly intelligent, educated, flawless etiquette; the epitome of the perfect young Baroness-to-be. And yet there's just that air about her, like she's the horniest girl who ever lived, just waiting for someone, anyone to fuck her brains out... and yet, she never lets anyone do just that.

Of course, it all has left Elodie herself extremely sexually frustrated. She's in a constant state of arousal and everything she does and says is somewhat sexually loaded, and yet she never lets anyone actually touch her, and she never lets herself feel the sweet release her body craves.

Oh, what the fireworks would be like, should that finally happen, one day.

When Baron Cuvillier caught Shanyala teaching Elodie the fine art of going with no underwear and flashing the skirt just enough to let everyone know but not actually show anything, he'd finally had enough. He threw the elf out of his palace and demanded Elodie forget everything she taught her. Elodie had none of it. She was eighteen now, a powerful Enchantress in her own right, and she would continue her studies, with or without her mentor.

Elodie ran off in the middle of the night, determined to find a way to learn on her own. First stop; Baldur's Gate, civilization, and adventure! And then, Candlekeep. What better place for a young, aspiring Enchantress like herself to improve on her talent. Both her magic talent... and who knows, there just might be books in there to help with building tension as well.

Thank you for all the interest. To keep things moving, I have decided to bring the game forward and start by the coming weekend.
