Shepard Smith Appreciation Thread

Over in the news thread people were talking about Shepard Smith's sudden departure from Fox News. Although there's much speculation, it came after a particularly bitter feud between the actual news portion of the network which Shepard championed, and the opinion/propaganda arm hosting the likes of Tucker Carlson. His frequent criticisms of President Trump also played a role.

While some are worried that this signifies a declining quality in what little responsible journalism remains on the network, a premonition of things getting worse, I for one feel that continuing to associate with Fox was beneath him and his skills.

In the spirit of John Oliver's farewell, this thread collects his best moments, both of humor and integrity against the prevailing doctrine of misinformation and hatred of his own cohosts, the executive branch, and the Republican Party.
