I learned to make myself small,
And how to hide in plain sight,
Don’t look you in the eye,
Don’t put up a fight.

I learned to say I’m sorry,
Never knowing why.
It only gets worse,
If I let you see me cry.

Doesn’t matter what I did,
Because I’m always wrong.
Didn’t pick up my toys,
Hummed the wrong song.

I don’t know what to do,
I’m angry all the time.
Since when is being alive,
Such a terrible crime?
