Dungeons and Dragons Advice

I need some advise.

I've been running my first online, via chat D & D group for several months now. My players are great. However one of my players (let's call them a) has gone awol. This in itself isn't to concerning. What is is that its been nearly three weeks with no contact. Another of my players (b) knows a personally but hasn't been able to reach them either.

I don't know them outside of D & D but I'm growing rather alarmed. All I can do is reach out via discord but if something serious has happened I don't want them thinking I'm bugging them about not playing a game!. Hang the game! Just let me know your alright! 

How do I reach out without sounding like a naggy DM?!

I'd suggest a message of 'Hey, are you okay?  Some of us have started to worry about you.  B says they haven't heard from you in three weeks.  Hope you're well.'

Don't even mention the game, and you should avoid sounding like a GM of any flavor.

"Hey man, I know some people end up ghosting because they want to avoid an argument or bad feelings when they leave a group. It's fine if that's what you're doing, but could you just reply to this real quick and let me know you're not dead? I'd appreciate it. The gang's getting a bit concerned, myself included, and B hasn't been able to reach you so... well; this is me trying. Hope all is well."

Update. I managed to reach them and they responded. Thanks for the advice.
