The Seven - An OC game based on 'The Boys' Amazon series/comics

A handler is probably easier to integrate but a fixer could be cool to have.

Am thinking of a lawyer/fixer type (someone has to be filing injunctions for an International Corporation) on the surface who may do a bit more of the less legal "fixing" as well when legal avenues aren't going to be as useful...not everything can be tied up in red tape after all.

Powers/Special abilities: Does being a legal bitch on wheels count as a special ability?

Personality:

• Focused

Point Hunter toward a problem and you can almost see her living up to her name. Her world will narrow and very little else will exist outside of reaching the goal of making the problem (person) disappear. She prefers legal methods of solving problems but isn't adverse to using extra-legal methods when the need arises.

• Controlled

Going hand-in-hand with her laser focus, everything from the organization in her office to the sound of her heels clacking rhythmically across her office floor marks Hunter as the epitome of a woman in control of her environment. Underlings learn quickly to either fall in line, get the hell out of the way, or simply get lost when Hunter has a goal in mind. When working a specific case she doesn't let petty things like emotion, food, or even a crying secretary (or two) crack through her control and pause her in her work. 

• Surprising

Despite the Controlling Bitch/Ice Queen persona those that work with her are familiar with, there is another side to Hunter...one where she can actually laugh, smile, crack a joke and throw back a beer...but almost no one at Vought  would believe it.

• Morally Grey

While most people have a firm sense of right/wrong, Hunter often finds herself squarely riding the line between the two. Societal "norms" are things she absolutely doesn't care about (or finds entirely laughable) and she only bothers with when she can use them to her advantage.

History:

• Born to an absentee, corporate lawyer father and an equally absentee socialite mother, Hunter spent most of her formative years surrounded by employees and the children of other equally absent parents. Maids, gardeners, drivers, and private tutors made up the majority of her daily social interactions as a young child and while they left her young mind full (she can speak and read English, Vietnamese, Cantonese and German fluently and is conversation in both Portuguese and Spanish) and gifted her with a body that was fit and agile - courtesy of lessons in dance, gymnastics and fencing - it also left her much separated from her family and from most people of her own age outside of those lessons.
• University was a revelation for Hunter. Suddenly surrounded by groups of people her own age breaking free of societal strictures she'd never even realized existed outside of her, exceptionally structured world she found herself overwhelmed and baffled at first. It took her time to figure out how to relate to people of such varying economic backgrounds and if not for the persistence of her roommate her Sophomore year (who decided to make a project of befriending the socially awkward brunette) her life might have taken an entirely different path. Hunter's initial plan for her schooling had been to become a professional corporate interpreter - it seemed a natural fit when she was already a polyglot - but Nadine's passion was law and that passion piqued Hunter's interest and changed the course of her life.
• Superior grades, a facility with languages, and personality testing that showed moral ambiguity brought her to the attention of Vought International legal executives who hired the young woman right out of law school. Vought is the only company she's worked for and she's exceedingly loyal to the corporation that signs her checks, provides her benefits, and drops generous bonuses when she "fixes" a particularly nasty problem.

• Ice Queen

Plenty of underlings have called Hunter and Ice Queen and there has been much speculation on whether there's a heart to melt under the tightly controlled exterior she portrays at work.

• Sex Life

Like questions about whether or not she has a heart, plenty of rumors and questions have circulated about just what she might do in intimate situations. More than one person has claimed they've seen her bent over her desk participating in late night shenanigans (not true but trying to bring her down a peg makes them feel superior), others have speculated that, despite her beauty, such a frigid bitch is likely still a virgin (also not true) while one or two have simply left it at wondering just what sort of kinks might manage to put cracks in that icy exterior.

Role: Executive for Vought international and handler (Very briefly a fixer)

Personality:

Silver tongue: Marcus is know for his ability to talk, lie, or charm his way out of (or into) anything. He's practiced using a calm soothing tone to help put people at ease in his presence. He enjoys being able to woo and persuade people towards his way of thinking. Marcus likes being able to disarm someone with mere words, not at all opposed to the use of flattery, seduction or veiled threats to get his way. He has seen up close the power words have on a person.

Ambition thy name is...: Marcus is highly ambitious and is more than willing to do what he has to in order to climb the corporate ladder, well..almost anything. He does not believe in crushes people underfoot in order to rise to the top. He will remember those who helped him get there and they shall be rewarded. This be believes is much more promising and sustainable since he can ask for favors without the likely double cross because he pissed someone off. He yearns for the power, status and influence of those who stand on top. It is something he will be tested on time and again. 

Challenge accepted!: Marcus enjoys testing himself and his abilities. He is known for his brilliant out-of-the-box thinking and ability to think quickly on his feet while maintaining a calm demeanor. He likes the feeling of overcoming a difficult task or pitting his wits against another's and coming out on top. He doesn't back down from any challenge set before him no matter the risks to himself. In fact the risk makes it that much more enjoyable. If someone say it can't be done that perks his interest.

Confidence is key: Marcus has been relatively good looking all his life and his sharp wit combined with his gifted tongue has given him a great deal of confidence. He is just short of cocky as he was raised to believe there is ALWAYS someone better out there. (He just hasn't met that person yet!) And he has seen that projecting an aura of confidence alone is sometimes just enough to get you what you want no matter if the person is super powered or not. Act like you own the place and sometimes people just assume you do...

Good time cowboy casanova: Marcus has a weakness for a pretty face. He doesn't mean to but sometimes his actions have broken a few hearts. This is usually because he does not make clear that he is looking for a good time and not a relationship. He does not do this often and is a character flaw that he is trying to work on. But sometimes he sees a gorgeous woman and well..the rest is history. He enjoys to flirt and the "chase", but deep down he's trying to find himself and the person he feels he is destined to be with. At least he hopes to do so unless he already broke her heart.

Tenacious or the definition of perseverance?: Marcus does not give up or let things go easily. Short and to the point.


History:

• Marcus was born to Samuel and Mary Forester. He was the third in a set of five children, having two older brothers and two younger sisters. Samuel was a strong willed man and as unyielding as a mountain, he had a very narrow minded and old way of thinking. That men needed to be strong, faithful and righteous which there was nothing wrong with ideals like those but then to him women were meant to be very conservative, to be seen not heard, to pop out children and maintain a home. He believed the reason there was so much strife and pain in the world was because people had forgotten the "right" way of thinking and upbringing. So in an effort to demonstrate and prove to a small gaggle of followers in a town with a population of 2,000, that the old ways would save them all, fill their bellies and right all the wrongs that happened in this world he swore that his children would become the prime example everyone should follow. His boys would be men of God just like their father, strong, tough leaders with the will to burn bright and teach others the true path in life. To spread his message. And his daughters would be perfect examples that all young women should follow. When Marcus was four he was set to learn with his brothers at home the teachings of their father. Their father drilled into them various misguided and hateful ideas all under the guise of religious authenticity. He twisted words of peace and prayers, tainted the true meanings of tolerance and forgiveness preached by true religious leaders from so long ago. But the boys learned from his example and words, they were not permitted to personally read the bible he read to them. HE would read to them. As time went on a sort of routine set in. Marcus and his siblings would go to school and learn the normal everyday teachings all schoolchildren learned and afterwards for three hours they would receive the correct and untainted teachings from their father. School was OK for things like math and learning to read and write their father agreed, though he insisted that women (even his sisters and mother) had no need to learn anything more than running a household but he wasn't going to start that battle yet. Not with only this many followers mind you. So since it was required of them by law to send them to school he did not withhold them from their learning but made sure to drill into them that they were to place his teachings above everything they learned at school. Any deviations from his teachings, any buts or ums were harshly punished and the children soon learned that their father ruled his household with an iron fist and a healthy dose of fear.


• By the time he entered High school Marcus' father was a shadow of his former self as an illness sapped his strength. It was then that Samuel's family finally began to flourish as his rein of terror no longer stunted his children's growth. Marcus' mother instead taught them the value of hard work and how loyalty and friendship can be stronger than any blood bond. She made sure to undo as much of her husband's twisted teachings as she could. For the most part she succeeded. But Marcus learned one thing about life from his Father. Sometimes people were willing to follow just about anything as long as you gave them something to believe in. With mere words he could raise a following, power like that was what set him on the path he would later take to become an Executive for Vought international. He did not believe in his father's dogma but the idea that words could be stronger than any super power, why if someone were good enough...if someone had the will to..they could twist and form a budding hero into...ANYTHING. It both amazed and terrified him years later when that revelation struck him. To be able to influence someone of great power..now that was something. So he started off small. He put himself through college and worked part-time at a lowly job for Vought international. He did what he could to make himself useful at first riding the coattails of those who took a chance on him giving him a task to complete here and there until word spread out that Marcus could be trusted with certain tasks. When the chance came for him move up he took the first job offered to him. A fixer. Well he wasn't REALLY a fixer more like...an assistant to a fixer. Marcus was used like a tool, to help weave a story here or there. To be the kind, reassuring face when confronted with a lawsuit. He was there to persuade people to act against their own self-interests without them even realizing it and without resorting to actual threats or violence. It was a skill that he refined and made him quiet valuable.


• After many years of hard work and showing off his skills. Marcus' loyalty and usefulness earned him the chance to really climb the corporate ladder. He'd earned more than a few favors to help drop his name here and there. To shine and stand out from the horde of common workers. As it was once he got the offer to manage and help out a few supers he made sure to do what he did best. Handling people. Drawing on every experience in his life to help give him insight to the different personalities and egos. He was careful..he didn't WANT to manipulate them...he just wanted to give them a nudge here and there. To help them secure deals that benefited both of them. To help save them from themselves at times and to keep the masses wanting more and more of his charge. It's his hope to one day manage a hero so well they are beloved by the whole world. It is a steep goal but if you don't set the bar high...
