Mán, that's what I call a brilliantly described character. I hope you've already seen the "USS Zhukov Bridge" et cetera?

Thanks!

I saw the Bridge thread and posted already.  I'm looking forward to making connections with all the characters.

Actually it would be my characters job to lead away teams, though second officer is usually put on the team. Though not often a councilor if my memory of the show serves me.

Oh yeah, oops.  Sorry, and thanks for pointing that out.

Name: Kitala "Kitty", daughter of Christiana, daughter of Ottavia and Oragh, son of Morgh
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Race: Half-klingon
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Ons & Offs:

Ons: Romance, giving oral, being the more submissive partner, in-depth playing (literacy and being descriptive), foreplay
Offs: Death, things-that-belong-in-the-toilet-and-not-on-my-body, severely injuring, sex with monsters

Position: Security Officer
Rank: To be decided by CO

Appearance: Kitala, born to a Human mother and a Klingon father, has the typical rough exterior a Klingon has, yet her female forms are much more refined than those of average Klingon women. Her hairline is closer to that of a normal Human being, although she does have the distinctive Klingon wrinkled forehead. Her hair is more or less human, dark brown as her Human roots are Italian. Her eyes have a dark, chocolate-brown colour and her eyebrows define her face beautifully. Although she does look feminine in all possible ways, Kitala can be very blunt and swipe the average adult man off his feet. She stands 5'7" tall and her breasts are rather large for her frame, standing out from her flat stomach at a full D-cup.

Personality: Kitty is all in all a very loud, extroverted person who takes pride in joking and fooling around. She has been raised mainly by her mother as her father had business to attend, but her instincts drove her to things that made her Klingon-self stand out even more. Her way of behaving is more like her father, but she looks more like her mother. Her Human and Klingon self cause a lot of inner turmoil in the young woman though, and make her question her existence, whether she should be Klingon and devoted to martial arts, or Human and devoted to having a family.

History: Born to a Human female and raised on planet Earth, Kitty had a rather normal youth and grew up as a healthy young woman. Throughout her life, sports have kept her going and she still enjoys kickboxing as it relieves her from daily stress and her hunger for fighting. More to follow.

Service Record:

2371: enlisted in Starfleet, studying martial arts and parts of xenolinguistics
2374: graduated form the Academy, assigned to USS Enterprise-E in the second half of the year, guided by her uncle, Worf.
2379: assigned to USS Zhukov as Security Officer, the Enterprise-E being destroyed.

Is there room for an ensign? I would play her as being very smart, with a very high intelligence.
As for age issues, I could play her as 18 too.

kaz

Absolutely hun, what department.  Ensigns are usually about 20/21 not really looking for characters any younger.  Pop a character in and we'll get you into the game :)

Here's the current Bio for my character:

Character Information
Name: Kezek Rahn
Gender       Male
Species    Bajoran
Age       26
Sexuality: Straight
Ons & Offs: ?

Physical Appearance
Height       5'11"
Weight       193 lbs
Hair Color       Dirty Blonde
Eye Color       Brown
Physical Description       Rahn is average height and well built. He keeps his dirty blonde hair cut short and almost always has stubble on his face and chin.

Personality
Rahn is a sullen man that prefers to be alone. He is quiet and observant. When he does speak he comes off as cocky. He generally distrusts everyone he meets until he gets to know them better. His time in a labor camp left him scarred and bitter. He spends his spare time drinking or talking to his imaginary friend, Kalah.

He despises all things Starfleet and feels trapped in his current career but he sees no way out. He does what he has to do in Starfleet because his only other option is to return to Bajor.

Because of his half-sister, Rahn hates all hybrid species. He sees them as an abomination and would prefer to see them dead. His oath as a doctor and the fact that he isn’t a murderer is the only thing stopping him.

Personal History
Rahn was born in Bennikar, a small village located in the Kaladrys Valley on Bajor. He had a rough childhood and dreamed of a time when the Cardassians would leave Bajor. As a child he helped his family on their Verdanis ranch. This left little time for leisure or friendships and Rahn eventually 'found' an imaginary friend named Kalah.

As he grew older his responsibilities expanded to other areas. He moved his focus on the ranch to treating the injured verdanis rather then feeding them. He began working with the local doctor and tried to learn as much as he could. He used the knowledge to develop new protocols that helped reduce injuries in the animals. As a result, the animals flourished and the village began to prosper.

All of that changed when the village was overrun during the Dominion War and Rahn and the others were taken prisoner. The villagers were rounded up and taken to the Batal labor camp. During the captivity, Rahn and the other males were beaten on a semi-regular basis. Rahn began withdrawing into himself to escape from the nightmare that had become his life but still managed to do what he could to help the others with their injuries.

Two months into the captivity, Rahn was nearly killed when he witnessed a Cardassian guard raping his mother. Rahn attacked the guard and was severely beaten. For three straight days Rahn was beaten and tortured by the guards. When it was over, Rahn spent the majority of his time alone, talking to no one but Kalah.

Several months later the captives were rescued and many returned to their villages. Rahn lost himself in his work and slowly began to return to normal. He began interacting with others and even began laughing again. His life was again turned upside-down when his mother gave birth to a Bajoran/Cardassian girl. Seeing his half-sister reminded him of his time at Batal. He had difficulty accepting the situation and again withdrew into himself, splitting his time between getting drunk and talking to Kalah.

Nearly a year later, Rahn could take no more and began looking for a way off the planet. He'd considered moving to another village but he knew there were similar situations everywhere on Bajor. He knew he couldn't afford to book passage far enough away from Bajor and he began to get frustrated. One night, half way through a bottle, the idea came to him to apply to Starfleet academy. He had no real interest in joining Starfleet but it was a way to get off the planet and away from Cardassian space. The next day he submitted his application.

His Freshman year at the Academy was difficult for him. He was still having trouble dealing with his recent past and had trouble fitting in. He struggled with his classes and tried to join a few study groups but they had a hard time dealing with his attitude. Rahn soon gave up and chose to work alone, barely managing to pass his Freshman year.

As the Sophomore year began, Rahn attempted to join a study group again and did his best to fit in. As the year progressed, he learned to adapt to the needs of the others and began to fit in again. His crowning achievement during the school year was winning the Annual Science Fair with his science team.

The rest of his time at the Academy was easier and he quickly became a popular study partner. Things took a dramatic turn his senior year when he assisted a Bolian with a suicide. He was taken before a Review Board for charges against him. After further review, he was cleared of wrong doing and his record was wiped clean.

Rahn was disappointed when he graduated 11th in his class but quickly recovered as his classmates congratulated him for all of his hard work. Rahn acknowledged their compliments with mixed emotions. He still wasn’t comfortable with his fellow classmates but he did enjoy doing a good job. Rahn said his goodbyes and prepared for his time in the Medical College.

The four years at the Medical College passed quickly and Rahn excelled at his classes. His reputation as an excellent study partner preceded him and he was one of the most popular students. Upon graduation, Rahn was promoted to Lieutenant JG. He was again disappointed at not finishing at the top of his class but didn't let it bother him.

Service Record
2375: Graduated from Starfleet Academy
2379: Graduated from Starfleet Medical College
2379: Assigned to USS Zhukov as Chief Medical Officer

(sorry it took me so long to get this up. school got really hectic)
Name: Jack “rabbit” Elburn
Age: 30
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Sexuality: Straight
Ons & Offs:

Position: Chief Flight Control Officer
Rank: To be decided by CO

Appearance:

Personality: He acts more than a little cocky, because he’s used to things just working out for him. However, there’s a small part of him that is terrified whenever he steps onto a ship. Since he’s never truly been tested, he’s afraid that when his luck finally runs out, his skills won’t be good enough

History: Jack’s life can be described with one word: Lucky.
He was born just a few hours after his parents had nearly died in a traffic accident. He almost died from a disease when he was 6, but a doctor who specialized in that disease happened to have stopped by the hospital. When he was 10 and his dog ran away, the very first place he looked was the place he dog had gone. At school, the questions on the test always seemed to be the exact on he studied for. When he asked out the most popular student at his school, it was on the exact day that she had seen her boyfriend frenching the cheer captain. Even going to the federation academy came because the father of his friend, a flight officer himself, say Jack doing particularly well at a flight sim game and suggested that he apply.

Service Record:
2366 Enlisted with Starfleet.  Chosen for an Officer Candidacy Program.
2370 Graduated Starfleet Academy, Assigned to USS Carolina
2372 Promoted to Lieutenant, Transferred to USS Excaliber
2379 Assigned to USS Zhukov as Chief  Flight Control Officer

Great. She will be at Science department. I will make her really smart, so she will know things about other topics as well. Like engineering too, but her main knowledge area will be xenobilogy.

LOOKING FOR A BAD GUY

I am looking for someone to come and play the bad guy in plots.  Not with one character, although there could be a recurring character, but I would like someone to play the baddies when we need them.  If interested drop me a line.
Looking to write.  Sometimes life catches up with me.  If it does I will be back...

I think my half-klingon (Kitala) needs to have a few friends, and Leta (android) could sure do with some friends as well, even though Leta is emotionally attached to Havuk in a whole other way.

Ons and Offs Updated 9 October 2022

I originally had this character in mind for as an enlisted security/tactical crewman, but I have modified him for the currently empty slot for Chief of Security and Tactical Officer.

Name: Teachdaire
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Race: Orion
Sexuality: Straight
Ons & Offs:

Position: Chief Security/Tactical Officer
Rank: To be decided by CO (Lieutenant)

Appearance: He is a tall, muscular Orion male with green skin and a bald head.  He stands at about 6'4" and weighs about 270 pounds.

Personality:  Teachdaire is a man of action as well as words.  He leads through example and loves to give inspiring, rousing speeches to rally his troops into combat or competition.  He is perceptive and quick-thinking, but his knowledge is not very deep.  He likes to work hard and play just as hard, especially when it comes to rolling around with a female or two.  Although he likes to take charge, he is also a natural at following orders, particularly from women.

History:  Teachdaire is the son of a pair of Orion slaves that were being smuggled in a remote part of space.  Starfleet rescued him when he was a child and brought him back to Earth, where he was adopted by an Irish family that recently lost their own son.  He was given the name "Teachdaire" which is Gaelic for "courier" or "messenger."  He grew up constantly getting into fights with humans because of his appearance.  His adoptive father was a security and tactical officer for Starfleet, and encouraged Teachdaire to learn how to properly use his strength and aggression with martial arts classes before enlisting with Starfleet.

Service Record:
2369:  Enrolled in Starfleet Academy on a security and tactical officer track.  Excelled in unarmed combat, melee combat and usage of projectile weapons.  Qualified to pilot shuttlecraft and use ship-based weapons and shields.  Typically leads the combat elements of an away team.
2373:  Graduated from Starfleet Academy.  Assigned to two different starships as a security and tactical officer, both under female captains who became admirals.  Excelled in protection details, special ops missions and... other duties involving special assignments for his captains.
2379:  Assigned to the USS Zhukov as Chief of Security and Tactical Officer.

As a child, I always had to play the "wicked witch" or the "evil stepmother" in schoolplays. Trust me, I got sick of it when I was eight :P

It was the opposite for me I always played the good guy in the school plays mostly because I was a good kid the teacher could never see me playing a bad guy until I was like twelve and did my hannibal lecter impression for the drama teacher, I got all the bad guy roles after that :P

I got told I was "very convincingly scary" when I was twelve...
