Ragna Bluetusk

General Basics
Name: Ragna Bluetusk

Aliases:
The Blue Scorpion of Gandona,
The Bitch Scorpion,
The Exploding Bitchfit,
Momma Bluetusk,
General Bluetusk

Status: Master

Race: Orc

Age: 38

Sexuality: Lesbian

Gender: Female

More In-depth Knowledge
Appearance: A wall of muscle with a feminine face, Ragna is an esteemed warrior with a body to prove it. Through an almost religious amount of practice, her body has been toned to a peak fighting form. Her olive green skin is pockmarked with gashes and scars from battles that could not end her. Ragna's flowing hair, one of the few feminine things about her, is tinted a soft blue to mark the tribe she hails from. Her eyes are solid blue and almost permanently forced into a lazy scowl.

Her breasts, mostly pectorals at this point, were never large- happily so, as this allows Ragna to fight without extra weight bogging her down. Her claws are stained a deep navy blue.

Personality:
Ragna has gained a reputation for being a strong leader with an absolute sense of honor. She is incorruptible, unfaltering, and widely known for the levelheadedness she displays on the battlefield. Ragna has worked very, very hard to get where she is despite her gender, and is not about to let her appearance of power falter for a moment. Naturally, this is very stressful for her to keep up, and she prefers to take out this stress on her slaves.

The Honor that Ragna upholds is honor in the Orcish sense; she does not lie, rarely schemes or undercuts allies and is fair leader to strong individuals. Beyond that, she is an exceptionally cruel fighter and has no qualms over committing great atrocities in order to break the morale of the enemy. Her honor is reserved for the Horde and the Horde alone.

Though she has absolutely no interest in the fine arts, Ragna has forced herself until she was literate in common and demonic texts. She almost exclusively reads accounts of military battles, organization, and training regimines and uses that to improve the soldiers under her command.

In battle, Ragna prefers using whatever methods possible to draw the enemy out onto the battlefield. She hates waging Sieges and prefers to take advantage of terrain when fighting. She's most notable for using her army's impressive organization to meet enemies on the battlefield before they expect them. These tactics have given Ragna an expansive battle history marked with many bloodsoaked victories.

Outside of battle, Ragna is generally speaks tersly to others and has generally does not let her anger rise above a simmering hatefulness. She is hardly as gentle to slaves that disobey her, however, and usually invents cruel and unusual punishments for their insubordination.

Strengths:
Master Warrior - From the first time she could stand, Ragna has held a weapon in her hands. She spent her entire life in the pursuit of martial prowess both on the field and in the war room. Due to the nature of her birthright, Ragna goes through weapons fairly quickly and has never grown attached to a certain weapon. Instead she's trained with many different weapons over the course of her career and has even been known to force captured knights to show how they handle exotic weapons from outside her homeland.

Trained Militia - As a General, Ragna commands some of the Horde's forces. Ragna's troops are reknowned for their discipline; Ragna has gone out of her way to train her units in proper military tactics. If one sees ever sees the usually moblike horde making formations on the battlefield, they know Bluetusk has entered the fray. She prefers commanding Orcs and Trolls and most recently Wolfmen over other races of the Horde. She found them better able to learn the martial discipline that are crucial in her tactics. She avoids using slaves as soldiers but has been known to use chattel as front-line cannon fodder to shake up enemy formations.

An Orc of Status - A model soldier, a competent General, and a long-lived pedigree make Ragna the closest thing to a powerful noble Orcish society has. Be that as it may, Ragna knows almost none of the niceties being a noble can offer, as her life has been one of constant training and bloodshed. That does not change her status as one, however.

Weaknesses:
Overly Spiritual - Ragna puts an immense amount of truck in the worship of spiritual entities, and will never defile or destroy any area of spiritual significance. Openly insulting her without immediate retaliation is as easy as inviting her to any place sacred to the spirits for discussion. She will not spill blood on their soil unless commanded to do so.

War Nut - Ragna was weaned on raping, pillaging, and Battle. The Domestic life is not for her in any capacity. She cant do laundry, can't cook anything beyond slabs of meat and needs a slave to maintain any household more complex than a Yurt. If there is anything that doesn't involve training slaves or attaining victory on the battlefield, it is safe to assume that Ragna is poor-to-middling at it.

Loyal - An unusual and often fatal quality among the Horde, Ragna abhors deception. She doesn't lie, never betrays her allies, and very rarely disobeys her superiors. Allying with her is usually a safe bet, though if that trust is ever broken it will be gone forever.

Powers: Transmutation (Energy Transmutation) - As is the Bluetusk Clan's birthright, Ragna is able to temporarily imbue weapons and others with destructive spiritual energy. Her clan is so named because of this magic, which always gives their weapons a glowing blue color. Doing so increases the sharpness of any the weapon tenfold, at the cost of degrading it heavily and eventually causing it to explode with violent blue light. Most weapons cannot survive more than a few battles when subjected to this effect. When this same energy is channeled into a nonmetal object like, say, a human, it causes the effected object to violently explode after a short time.

Ragna must be touching an object with her hand or a weapon imbued with spiritual energy in order to channel power into it.

History:
The Bluetusk's first introduction to the Horde began centuries ago in Gandona, when the growing Demonic tribe came across the Mighty Bluetusk tribe. The Bluetusk tribe recognzed the power of the demons, but would not accept being ruled by them unless their chieftan was defeated and killed in honorable combat by the opposing commander. The Demons agreed, and on the day of battle, slew the orcish chieftan handily.

The rest of the Bluetusk tribe honored the results of the duel. The son of the defeated chieftan took over the Bluetusk clan, and pledged fealty to the Demon tribe. That oath has held ever since.

Ragna, a direct descendant of that same Bloodtusk Chieftan, was raised on stories of of the Demon's exploits and their subjugation of other races. Ragna, instead of feeling disgrace over her forebear's defeat, was enchanted by the strength her horned overlords possessed. She made it her life's goal to match their strength and skill in battle, working tirelessly to improve her inherent talent for warfare.

By dint of a good pedigree and a frankly staggering amount of hard work, Ragna flew through the ranks of the Horde, participating in many pitched battles over her career. As she began to lead others, her tireless training began to include equally diligant study of war and tactics. Her victories as a commander became a litany of success, bringing her to where she is today.

During this conquest, Ragna developed a taste for foreign and exotic women, which her fellow soldiers seemed to enjoy so much after a good conquering. She enjoys being able to manhandle them easily, and she enjoys the amount of control that gives her.

Finally, after a lifetime of effort, Ragna has managed to attain the rank of general. Her new task is to use her vast military prowess to aid in the war from the comfy safety of Old Warren. Ragna, for her part, hates this, and would much rather be on the battlefield leading troops directly. Nevertheless, being able to attain such a rank is a great honor for her, and her wisdom of warfare has proved invaluable in the War Room.

Alright- I think I'm just about done with this. I'm not certain of the max rank an orc is allowed to hold in the military, but Ragna is meant to be up there.

I also assume that Ragna would know Fenris and Gnar in some official extent, so that will be something fun to talk about if either of you are interested.

Looks good to me, feel free to add her to character thread(in introductory post, some players tend to miss my habit of top links in past,) and I'll update her in.

I am also fine with working out any relations.

Done!

So what do you think about Fenris and Ragna? They seem to see eye to eye on a few things, mostly in terms of hating domestic life and subjugating the weak. How high in rank is Fenris meant to be?

Sephiriel

Would you also be interested in a connection with my Orc Guard NPC? They're both on the spiritual-nut level and such. Could be a "nice" connection or "antagonistic", depending on how Ragna and Fenris get along.

I think they'd get on well. Ragna can respect a fellow female orc trying to be just as fierce as she is. Depending on her personality, maybe Gija could look up to Ragna?

Would like that, yep.

No idea- I think it would be pretty darn mixed. From what I've read, Ragna is physically stunning by Gnar's standards (an orc, very strong, durable), which isnt a good thing, as Gnar has a bit of an inferiority complex. He hates orc females because he's convinced they aren't attracted to him. Especially not with a lesbian like Ragna. Mentally, they both have a sense of honor, but Ragna is nowhere near as soft spoken. She's very direct and to the point. To add things to the mix, they're equal rank which I imagine only complicates things.

Sorry for delay, at work and on cell presently; so, sure you can imagine how that goes. Any who, I am sure they can probably get along as fellow warriors. Even though he is half demon, he is still pretty racially respectful to most; unlike his brother. I haven't ponder his rank much. He is still pretty high in hierarchy even as half breed from from being son to one of Cerabuml tribe leaders. I don't really consider him royalty though since that primal warrior tribe doesn't view themselves as such.

True, FarFetched. :(
Even though you made her a delicious muscle goddess, Gnar would not have much intimacy to interact with her, specially because she'd be the kind who despises him because of his dashing human looks.
Please let me know if you have any thoughts.

She seemsbto be spiritual but I'm not sure how this would gel together with his curiosity.

That sounds fair. Ragna only looks for honor, respect and strength in her contemporaries. So long as that is maintained she could care less about race. Naturally, she probably will not be keen on Fenrir's comparatively pansy-ass brother.

Again, Ragna probably wouldn't mind his features- she's not interested in men to begin with, so what difference would it make? Since he's also a general, if he manages to be at least passably respectful when speaking to her she wouldn't mind sharing her knowledge of spirits and ceremonies. She may even have insight on the stone he carries? Up to you. Actually getting to that point sounds like it may be interesting character development for Gnar, too.

I'm game!

Already discussed with FarFetched that my character will be her slave.... Working on a character now. Do I post it here? Or PM you Drake?
Out here in the fields, I fight for my meals and I get my back into my living.

I don't need to fight to prove I'm right and I don't need to be forgiven.
