The year is 2430 – By our standards, that is.

Take a look around.

Where are the flying cars? The skyscrapers kissing the sun? Where is our space travel technology? Televisions and cellphones – Computers powered with technology beyond all reason?

All gone.

The year, listed more appropriately, is 300 AA – After Animalia – and for all the world it looks more like you emerged from the Victorian Era.

This is because society finally collapsed 300 years ago. The humans, if you would call them that, do not speak about the event because they care not to. Some are completely unaware there was anything any different from what they currently have. Only the true Historians of society are aware of how life on Earth once was, prior to the Animalia Deformations. They don’t really consider Animalia a deformation anymore, though. During the societal fallout, the disease that was released into the air that originally genetically modified their ancestors was only a deformity during that time. Now, mankind – or, rather, Animalia Kind—has come to accept and embrace their differences.

The genetic mutations led to the destruction of the original Animalia on Earth. The fish in the ocean, the birds in the sky, the mammals of land… All wiped out due to the contagion. Their immune systems didn’t fare so well, but humans did have a crafty way of adapting, even if that meant becoming what they had previously looked down on.

Formerly post-anal tails grew in some cases, interior gill-pouches became exterior gills and fins, ears elongated and even relocated….even the senses grew sharper. By the end, what was left behind was some sort of crossbreed between human and beast : More human than beast, though it did bear the traits of the animalia it could have been once upon a dream.

With this new development, emphasis was no longer placed upon nationality and skin colour. Sexuality was no longer a heightened concern of the people anymore either. However, humans, no matter how they have fallen (or, in the eyes of those who know better, advanced), will find something to isolate others over ; in this case, it was a new form of racism : Species. Those who had taken on traits of predatory creatures (lions, tigers, wolves, bears, sharks and so on..) would be labeled as “The Predators”, while those with the “weaker” genetics (cows, sheep, goats, rabbits and so on..) would come to be called “The Prey”.

As society had reduced itself to a “simpler” time, “simple” ways would be adopted again : The Predators would become the Lords and Ladies under The Monarch – a single, all-uniting force who’s species has always been kept a mystery, though they seem ageless –  while The Prey would become lower class (servants and slaves, peddlers, prostitutes, etc).

Worse yet, however, is that a Prey may be born to a family otherwise filled with Predators… Such a scandal must be hidden from the public eye, else the family receive shame – This pits family member against family member in these times.

What were you born as? Were you lucky to be a Predator? Or were you cursed to be little more than a Prey? Will you try to change your class? Or, even more – Will you try to change society?

And what of those Historians who know how life was before? Those who identify you as a Predator or Prey at birth? If they hold the knowledge of what happened…could they also hold the knowledge on how to return humans to their former glory?

The Predators and the Prey :: A Few Extra details

Welcome to the thread, gentle reader. For those of you who have been around Elliquiy and the Group Games section prior, you may recognize something familiar. Why, yes, this is Faustus’ old game. I decided enough time had passed since it was last played (over a year ago, truthfully), and decided to brush the dust off this old gal and bring her back. For new players that were not here that run : Welcome! Please, have a look around as I explain a few finer points of detail!

What you are dealing with here, at the core, is this : This is a semi-Anthro (and I say semi due to how little anthro this is) role play with technology at the base-level of the Victorian Era. All statuses that may have been relevant at that time will be relevant now (ie; Earls, Ladies, Lords, so on and forth). Speech, however, is not limited to Victorian-Era speech : Just your technology and status levels. Your world around you will greatly resemble Victorian-Era architecture and structure, though a few tiny things may be out of place.

The Anthro level for this, if you will, is along the lines of Neko’s and the like – characters may have some physical attributes similar to an animal (ears, tails, teeth sharpness, sensory, eyes, gills, fins, some fur if so desired, etc) or personality attributes (tigers may have a perchance for lounging about in the sunlight, bunnies may be skiddish, etc). This is up to the player and by no means must be reinforced, save some physical attributes. You decide how far you take it, but all characters must have some physical attributes related to their species of question, no matter how subtle.

As you may have noticed from the above paragraph describing the plot, crucial species between obvious-predator and obvious-prey were completely omitted : Domestic dogs, small felines, birds, etc. were completely left out. This was intentional. The species is 100% playable (no species is off-limits, actually), however they fall into an odd category within the society – These, because they are neither Predator nor Prey, may choose their own path freely. A Maine Coone, for instance, may choose to live life as a Bar Wench, or may choose to be a pampered and spoiled Lady. Society accepts them in both and neither looks up to, nor down, upon these. Use your own senses when deciding what Class your character fits into.

Insects and Lizards are also a funny case – They appear so rarely that most are seen as small-scale miracles and usually serve in the Court of The Monarch.

Rodents, curiously, are also commonly found to be part of an Underground Bunch referred to, simply, as "The Fallen," or "The Fallen from Grace". They are types that often hoarde the former technologies of the society passed, wishing things could be as it once was. They have somehow discovered knowledge that only Historians should have access to, and function as almost "antagonists". The Fallen, however, are not limited to Rodents – Any species may be a Fallen. It all depends on their drive : Accept life as it is, or desire life as it once was (though it was that very life that landed you in this position)?

With this section, let me introduce you to how the rest of this Interest Thread will function. This post will contain all Rules and Regulations for this particular game. Please, make sure to read all of them and abide by them for the future. We here with the game do not look kindly upon those that break many of these rules, especially Rules of Conduct. The third post will contain your Character Sheet as well as our Current Totals so you can see our numbers. I will include in that the character name, player, species and their status. Beneathe that I will also list a male to female ratio so you can see how we’re doing with that!

The final post will be a constantly spanning and ever growing Frequently Asked Questions section. You may note that it is already quite large, mostly due to this having been run once before and I am keeping those questions from before. Please feel free to ask any and all questions you may have, and I will probably use them to update the FAQ itself. I’ll leave your name off, no worries. But remember : the only stupid question is one not asked. I am thrilled to answer any questions you may have! Knowledge is power.

Don’t let all of the information frighten you away! I know it might be a lot to take in, but it is all quite simple once you get to it.

As for the rules and guidelines, we do not have many, but expect you to take the time to read them over.

• On “Literacy”. The encouraged “literacy level” (I do hate phrasing it as such) is Intermediate to Advanced Literate. Basically what we here want is this : No one liners. We ask that you try for ~300 word posts, which is around 2-3 paragraphs, as a minimum guideline. This is not enforced or policed, I promise you, and we understand that in many cases you just don’t have enough to work with to create a long post. That is fine! Simply make sure each post you create is enough for not only your character to react, but is giving enough for *another * to react from and you should be fine.
• On Grammar. We ask for proper use of the English Language, Punctuation and Grammar system. Yes, some of us overuse commas. Yes, some of us might break our sentences just a wee bit strangely. This is okay. We do not, however, want to see something like, “pls sara i just want u to luv me” or a distinct lack of punctuation. Each person will be viewed on a case-by-case scenario, and English as a Second Language will be taken into massive consideration. We know English is hard – we will not disparage others due to it.
• On Posting Times. Rejoice! We here at Predators versus Prey completely understand that everyone has lives outside of the internet! Your main GM attends University and cannot post every day herself. Guess what? That is okay. We do not ask for every minute of your day, though we do encourage an attempt at a post per week, and preferably a little quicker (if you can) when your character may be involved in the thick of something.
• On Communication. We really, really like for our players to remain vocal and communicate. Please, let us know if you will be away for an extended period of time or if you’re just having a hard time getting started. We’re not going to be mad! On the contrary : chances are we’ll try to help you in every way that we can. We are also very understanding of those who just need some time to themselves.
• On Non-Consent. Given the subject material of this piece, non-consensual activities run a high chance of occurring, but only with players complete consent. You must contact the player in question before this sort of activity may occur, and if they say no – guess what? That is a no. Players are not to push or pry.
• On Sexuality and Gender. Predators versus Prey is a LGBT friendly game and welcomes players, and characters, of all sexualities and gender identifications. You will find in your character application a section that is provided for you, as the potential player, to state if you are uncomfortable playing opposite certain people (for instance : Are you uncomfortable with playing opposite a girl who is controlling a male character?). We understand there are cases like this and want it to be addressed before gameplay. We will not refuse any player for their preferences in play.
• On Equal Opportunity. Like many businesses you have probably applied for, Predators versus Prey enjoys including this handy statement : We are an equal opportunity game, and will not discriminate, refuse or reject any player or character based on their sexual identification, preference, religious affiliation, colour, race, creed, etc. Your answers on your application for “comfort levels” will also not be considered during the acceptance or rejection phase.
• On Anthros. We re-emphasize at this point that we are not looking for full “furry” types of characters. Characters should remain more human in appearance than not. However, what animal traits you choose to detail for your character are left open to you. If you are confused by the difference between the type of anthro we seek versus other types, we suggest looking at accepted applications for ideas, or looking up what a “cat girl” looks like. Not all characters must look like this : Be creative with how you display your characters species!
• On Elaboration. We reserve the right to return to these Rules and Regulations and expand upon them at any given time. If they are changed under any form or fashion, an official notation will be placed and made public for players and new applicants to observe.

Predator's and the Court of the Monarch

There are currently 5 MALES (ONE NPC) and 5 FEMALES involved.
There are currently 8 PREDATORS, 9 PREY and 1 PROTECTED CLASS involved.

The Predators versus Prey are currently seeking ALL players and characters. We would, however, love to see more FALLEN AND PREY characters emerge.

A FEW CHARACTER JOBS

Just a few positions that are offered – Please recall that you are far from limited to the following. I more created this section for inspiration to other players, as sometimes you just draw a blank about what role you want to play. There are some jobs and positions listed beneathe here that are not detailed in the rest of the Interest Thread, so it might be a good read anyway.

The Court of the Monarch
There are many positions that get you into the Court of the Monarch, but that doesn’t guarantee that you will see the Monarch and learn who they are. Many of those that live within the Monarch’s Halls are Insects and Reptiles, seen as prized creatures above the others by the Monarch themself. Others may come and go.

Available Occupations : There are many roles available for the Court, but we’ll start at the top and work our way down. The role of the Monarch is available, though a player seeking this would need to contact the GM ahead of time. Spanning from the Monarch you have their possible offspring, though again GM contact would be advised. The Seven Top Historians are available jobs here as well (see FAQ for details of their job). You have the Insect and Reptile members of Court, and you also have those that serve in the Court (Cooks, Butlers, Maids, Food Producers, Gardeners, Bedwarmers, and other Servants or Slaves). Possibilities are limitless. A good look at those kept close to a King or Queen throughout Europe during the Victorian Era would list even more jobs I have forgotten!

The Common Prey :
This is your average, run-of-the-mill sort of Prey. These are what would be the equivalent in Victorian Era as the “Lower Class.” As common Prey, they are not allowed to own their own land, homes or businesses and must do that through someone else. They are not allowed, by Monarch Law, to rise above this lot in their lives to anything greater. One may find a Predator or two amongst the Lower Class, and those are treated much as Lepers were : shunned and with disgust. This means they had formerly been something great, but were thrown down to this level. How sad.

Available Occupations : Again, simply conjure up images of what the Lower Class did during this intended Era and you have a good idea of what jobs there are. Some examples may include : Servant/Slave to a Predator, Peddler, Barwench, Unfortunate (read : prostitute), Rent Boy, Docks Worker, Factory Hand, etc. You are of the working class or a Slave.

The Between Denizen :
Someone who exists as a between is neither blatant Predator, nor are they obviously Prey. This puts them into a bit of a pickle to identify, so they maintain a status all their own. Due to this they are given the option to either be Lower Class or Upper Class. A Between individual may struggle to achieve higher levels of respect from more “fierce” Predators (such as : a domestic housecat is not on the same Lordly level as a Lion). May own property, slaves, and land.

Available Occupations : Think “higher class.” These are still not high enough to usually own entire mansions, but these are certainly not types that are living out of hovels. Many of these are business owners, stall and market owners, slave sellers, Bookkeepers, Bankers, etc. May also go into the Military or Expeditions to gather new “crops” (see : prey from other lands).

The Higher Class Predator :
This is someone who has been clearly identified as a Predator species and thus of superior genetic stock. This type serves as Lords, Ladies, Earl’s, Duchesses, and so on. I suggest a search on Victorian Nobility levels and the like for this type. They do clearly have their own lands and mansions, typically owning vast businesses (large factories, fields, etc). Historians also come from this stock. To be a Historian, of course, is to be very respected in society, though sometimes untrusted.

Available Occupations : I return to my previous statement. Think of the “Highest Class” here. Lord, Lady, Earl, Factory Owner, Farm Owner, Massive Slave Farmer, Historian, Emissaries or even someone who is just inheriting “old money” can be put here. These are the elite. High Military nobility may also be listed, as well as Professional Explorers who go reap new hauls of Prey from foreign lands.

Military :
Clearly, due to the Monarch waging war with lands they do not own, the Military will be a section unto itself. This is land and navel militaries primarily, though it should be noted the navel group is not faring as well as their land cousins. Only someone of Between Status or Higher may be admitted into the higher ranks of military, but it is not unheard of to use Prey as fodder during battle. At least the pay is good while they survive. . It is also not uncommon for the militia to take defeated Predator and Prey alike back to be sold into slavery.

Available Occupations : Everything that would be available to a Victorian-Era militia. Think of the ranks used by Brittan during this period and choose accordingly for your character.

The Fallen :
These are the Rebels against Society that scuttle about beneathe the city in their expansive network of sewers. Their ultimate goal is a desire to return the world to the state that it formerly was before everything was controlled by the Monarch and Historians. They try to collect Forbidden Technologies before the Historians can and are currently working at figuring out how they work. They’re doing a pretty good job too. Typically Rodents, but other Predators and Prey have joined their ranks.

Available Occupations : All jobs are open here, though things that are closely associated with them are, of course, Rebels, Thieves, and Spies who have infiltrated into Historians and other Predators homes. It is not their jobs that hold them together, but their ideals.

I stand by my previous statement that these are not all jobs and careers open to someone, but it might be a good jumping off point if you can’t decide what you want to do! It also helps to detail a few things that might otherwise be unclear.

Q . If there are no animal species left, what are the predators eating?
As lame as it sounds, prior to the fallout, genetically modified food that can be grown was created. It had all of the similar properties to meat, really – Same taste, nutrients, etc. however it was grown instead of an animal that had been killed. It satisfied vegans around the world. This plant would be processed and turned into a wide variety of meat-resembling products.

Now? This plant still exists and is grown as a crop for the predators, though the knowledge behind how this plant was ever created to begin with has been lost – Kinda like how most of us have just come to accept yellow corn when purple was the original strain of it.

Q . If the predator’s don’t eat prey, could I apply for a character that has taken this up?
I figure this question will come up for those that want to play truly malicious characters, and I am very keen on those types. This very same thing came up in the previous run of this game, and we basically handled it as such :

Yes, you may play a character that has taken to purchasing Prey and using them for that very purpose. This is a practice that may be considered common, even, for other parts of the world (their status and how they are functioning in relation to Fallen Europa will be detailed further down). They will want to keep this secret, as it betrays the Law of the Monarch. Players should also not try to devour another player’s character as well. Please only kill and eat background characters of your own design.

Q . HELP! I’m confused about jobs I can do! Alternatively : I can’t decide what I want for my character. Can you help me?
Instead of typing it here, I will direct you to my Spoiler-Cut located just beneathe the Character Totals in the Character Creation section. There I detailed a LOT of information and careers available to you. I hope it helps!

Q . How "anthro" does my character need to be?
This is pretty much up to the player -- All players should recognize going into this that you may be interacting with a character that has ears and tails resembling their animal. This is basically the furthest state of anthro we're looking for.

Others may choose to only have subtle references : Teeth, nails, sensory, eyes...

You may choose to make your character as anthro as you want, or as subtle as you want. There is no set requirement. This is mostly for how comfortable you are, as a player, with anthro traits. However, there must be some sort of referencing to the animal, otherwise the character doesn't appear to be affected by the genetic mutations at all, and that might not fly so well in this society. So give as much, or little, as you want while somehow making that character an animal. You are no longer human. You are something between.

Q . What are the main differences between the Upper Class and Lower?
At the core, the upper class can do whatever they fancy. Some work, of course, but the work is dainty – Usually owning factories and large companies, or doing jobs behind desks. Lower class does not have this luxury and does the more dredge sort of work – manual labor and the like, or other undesirable jobs.

Lower class is not allowed to own their own property either, nor do they own stores or even stands in the market – Property is always rented via someone in the upper class, if they get to rent a home at all. Both stalls and stores are tended to in the public eye by the lower class, though the upper reaps all of the benefit : It’s a 80/20 profit situation, which is terrible for the lower class, but what can you do?

Being sold into servantry or slavery is not uncommon either, and some find a reprieve in this sort of treatment : After all, at least they have a roof over their heads and are required to be fed via Law of The Monarch.

Q . Are there slaves bought for sexual purposes only?
Of course! Once a Lord, Lady, Earl, etc purchases a slave or servant, they may be used for whatever the owner feels is appropriate, within The Monarch’s Law.

Q . What does The Monarch’s Law Entail?

• All servants or slaves purchased must have adequate food, water, and a place to sleep that is both warm and dry. It must also be proper for their species – Aquatic Animalia must be contained within water, land Animalia must have a habitat suiting their needs, and so on.
• No Predator may kill a Prey.
• No Prey will ever rise to the level of a Predator [Though this law is being contested actively by Prey-Supporters].
• No Prey may be Harvested.
• If a Prey is born to two Predators, it must learn to serve as the rest of those on its status have.

Q . Can you give another example of Predator / Prey / Between?

• Predator : Predator Animals. Tiger. Lion. Bear. Shark. So on and so forth. Animals that eat.
• Prey : Prey Animals.  Cow. Sheep. Rabbit. Squirrel. So on. Animals that are eaten.
• Between : Domestic Animals that serve neither function. Dog. Cat. Horse. Will choose between being a Predator or Prey in status. Animals that may eat, but are rarely eaten.

Q . How can a Prey be born to two Predators?
Because biological law, if you will, does not apply – A Tiger may mate with a Fox and produce an Eagle. The traits that emerge when a child is born usually emphasize something about its personality and are chosen at complete random by the child’s genetics. In this way, there is even more to worry about than if a boy or a girl is born. Most species will perform live births, not egg, even if the animal species is usually geared to egg-births. There are rare cases, but they are few and far between.

Q . Do Animalia that normally produce milk or eggs for consumption still do so?
This is up to the player to decide. If they want to play a Cow-Anthro that produces milk, that is fine. But this is not enforced.Milk and eggs for consumption are still present in this verse, though, whether a player chooses to play a character like this or not.

Q . Does this particular game rely heavily on the dominant/submissive archetype?
Not per say, though there is the emphasis on prey as lower-class. Prey must obey and recognize a lower status to Predators...at least in public. 

Q . If one plays a Predator, does that mean they must be a dominant character?
Nope! Say... Your Predator takes a Prey in as a servant into the household. That Predator may then decide how they wish to treat aforementioned Prey. They may decide, in the public eye, to treat them as they are expected to be -- the lower class (again, think maids and butlers of Victorian Era, or the public workers, etc). However, behind closed doors in the privacy of their own home, illicit love affairs where they "bottom out", if you will, to their Prey may occur.

Q . As a Predator, do I have to treat my Prey poorly?
Naw. Again, no one says you must abuse the Prey. You just recognize they are of lower social class to you. While this may lead to negative feelings and treatments, it need not always. For instance : Reflect that during the Victorian Era, there were many of the Higher class that would attempt to rally for the Working class in order to try to make a difference in their social standings as well as way of life. Your Predator may be one of those, if so desired. The sky is the limit!

Q . Will species with wings be able to fly?
Birds will not have wings in this, and they wouldn't be functional anyway due to body weight and bone density issues...

Part of the reason some insect creatures are revered and thus work for The Monarch is due to the fact that their wings, if the species has them, do often show and may be trained to work, though none have sustained flight abilities. Brief hovering and gliding may be obtained, but only with diligent work.

Mythological creatures who have wings will each be different – Please see your GM for questions in regards to this.

Q . Who are the Historians, exactly, and what am I getting myself into signing up for one?
The Historians, at the core, have unlimited access to all of the files within The Monarch's library. They understand the history of the world from Pre-Animalia, may understand how to revert the world to how it once was, and also identify the species. At birth, a Historian is always present alongside the Doctors and Nurses, and identifies a child as Predator or Prey immediately.

Sometimes they might make mistakes, however... But was it accidental or intentional?

No one is quite sure of the motives of the Historians. Do they actually support The Monarch, or are they out for themselves? Many are uncertain, but most in this Fallen Europa aren't too keen on messing with them.

For further details regarding Historians, please PM your GM. She will be eager to divulge a LOT of information in regards to what Historians do, how they function, and so on. She will say this much up front : Working for the Monarch is a tier system of Historians. If applying for a position like that, please contact her.

Q . What is the Tier System for Historians in the Court of the Monarch? Who holds these positions?
There are seven “top” positions for Historians in the Court. These Historians are the most respected, you could say, and the most intimidating in the business. Not only do they attend regular Historian Meetings, but they conduct their own in private. These Historians also have access to the deepest files of the Monarch’s Library. Pretty much, if it should be known, they know it. Even though they are the Top Historians, they are not required to live out of the Court of the Monarch. Many to keep their ultimate job hidden from others choose not to. Only the Grand Historian is required to stay in the Monarch’s Halls.

At the top of the Tier is the Grand Historian, who works very closely with the Monarch themselves. The Grand Historian is rumoured as being one of the only in Europa to have seen the Monarch with their own eyes. Who knows if this is true?

Q . How many characters may I play?
Only as many as you can comfortably handle -- I would advise no more than 2 - 3. Please, be sure that for every Prey you create, one Predator is created if you have more than one character. In other words : Please do not apply to play 3 Prey without applying for one Predator or Between.

Q . What happened to the modern technology and why is it no longer in use?
The following bits would only be known by Historians and The Monarch -- Everyone else would be kept in the dark.

Society collapsed mostly due to an almost nuclear fallout situation. Unlike the worlds portrayed in popular post-apocalyptic games and movies, where the world is a barren dustbowl, the Earth herself managed to survive okay, but many pieces of key technology for humans was lost. Society, as a whole, had come to be so reliant on science and technology to power their daily lives that they all-but forgot how to exist without these luxuries in their lives. So when the fallout caused most of their technology to fail, humans panicked.

During the fallout, the combination of stagnant water and radioactive material created the disease that was released into the air, starting what was referred to as "a deformation" at the time (though now it has come to be accepted as the norm).

Humans still had their most basic technology, however, and it was decided that what they had left to work with most resembled that of the Victorian era -- For comfort and ability to survive, it was agreed upon to attempt to return to such a setting. There were enough luxuries there for humans to exist more comfortably than hiding in caves, hoping for the best, while requiring deceptively few advances in technology. The metal from the cities would be turned into ships, trains, railroads, and life would begin again, though "back in time", so to speak.

Pieces of forgotten and lost technology do sometimes emerge -- Mining expeditions, sea fishing, kids digging in the backyard... The pieces that are uncovered vary from metals that are unfamiliar, to wires that look strange, tiny devices with screens that no longer function but certainly don't belong, etc. Historians are often dispatched at first breath of such a finding, and the items disappear quickly into the Historians Archives, never to be seen again. Those that hold onto the "Forbidden Technology", as it were, are often brutally punished if found out. This has led to a rise in The Fallen's numbers.

Q . What is the situation with the other "nations" outside of the Monarch's Rule? How far does it extend?
Put in VERY BRIEF : The Monarch controls most of what was formerly Europe – Our game, in fact, is set primarily in a Fallen variant of the United Kingdom. What the Monarch does not control is contested through waged war. At current, attempts at expansion are being made. For lands that are not currently involved in war with the Monarch, they tend to be used as “farming” areas – be this for food or for pickups of Prey.

Think how Africa was used very heavily as a pickup of Servants, but wasn’t under any explicit control. That’s how they work.

Nations naturally resist : that is going to happen. The following section is a list of how each area is affected, and what the Monarch’s plans are.

All Seven Continents Detailed, plus more information. Bit lengthy of a read.

North America :

• Canada and Alaska are under complete control – Canada was still, technically, a member of the crown as of the Fall, and was just kind of automatically swept up with the control. They are often forgotten unless the Monarch is lacking something better grown there. Alaska fell because the US could no longer keep up with what was going on up there.
• The United States, as of this moment, are free and untouched, as is Mexico and Latin America. They are occasionally farmed for new Prey, but are resistant.

South America :

• Currently completely without control from the Monarch. Area is used quite frequently for Prey and Servant hauls, however. Unlike their slightly more northern brothers, South America has a harder time defending against such intrusions, and Prey are usually taken and forced aboard ships for transport back to the Monarch.

Europe :
Nations not under the control of the Monarch : Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Austria and Russia.Of the nations not listed, all are under Universal control of the Monarch, not just heavily affected. Of those not ruled :

• Portugal and Spain have been waging war to keep from falling.
• Switzerland has, as per usual, taken a completely neutral stance. Those located here will not fight, however they will also not secede their lands. The Monarch is kind of okay with this.
• Austria’s landmass also fights – This is an area that holds a wealth of knowledge that the Historians want and would be very useful for the Fallen. They know this and refuse to buckle.
• Russia cannot be conquered. It serves as a safe-haven for Prey and Fallen, and Predators who do not mind the harsh life in the cold. The Monarch has tried on numerous occasions to take the land, however like dictators and tyrants before : has found the land to be harsh, unforgiving, and the winter to be brutal. At current, the Monarch wishes to stage another war for the land.

Asia :

• Most all of the middle east is under influence, however is not heavily policed. Everything South to South-East of China is free and without control via the Monarch.
• Parts of what was formerly China have since fallen, however in the higher elevations where it is, again, too cold there is a loose hold.
• Japan is free. Their naval group is currently unmatched in the world. The Monarch’s own naval team is lacking. They also have a difficult time getting to a coast TO set up a navy to fight for the Japanese land, as Russia or portions of China they do not own would be prime.

Africa :

• For the most part, this area is policed by the Monarch and used for farmlands. The grainery grows particularly well here, except for in the barren sections. This area is often favoured for sending prisoners of the state, when they are not sent to the tower in the Court.

Australia and Antarctica :

• Australia is in much the same situation it once was : owned and governed by the Monarch, used heavily for sending prisoners to. Weird Predators and Prey tend to come from this place and, frankly, the Monarch is kind of creeped out by this area. When there are more prey located here that could kill in a single bite…well, even tyrants know when to butt out.
• Antarctica is still uninhabited, and thus not controlled.
• The islands located in this area are also not controlled (New Zealand, for instance). Again, insufficient naval units.

Recall : Though I may use nation names when listed here, the areas are dissolved from what they used to be. Only certain locations may still actually call themselves by the name they once were : Primarily, Russia does this. This may yield questions about what “nationality”, of sorts, our current group would call themselves… Frankly, I haven’t decided a name for what this landmass of work is referred to beyond Fallen Europa. So, I guess, you would all be calling yourselves Europeans. Not a lie, at least.

Austria may also complain, but only because that section has allowed a wider branch of people to learn, read, retain the language and customs of the area, etc. They are technically dissolved, but in their hearts they are united Austrians.

Q . I want to play the ruling head of another country in this game. How do I go about doing this?
Please PM and discuss this with me ahead of time. I do not have problems with this, however there is a LOT you will need to know as a potential player, and I need good, very strong players for roles such as this. You won't have an easy job, I promise you.

Q . What is our nationality?
Addressed in the section regarding how other Continents have been affected by the Monarch’s Rule. Put in Brief : If you live in the controlled area of Fallen Europa, you’re just European with no specific denomination. Only certain locations, as detailed above, call themselves by the name they used Before Animalia. Otherwise, who these people are have mostly been forgotten.

Languages are the same way, though Historians are encouraged to learn these “forgotten” or “dead” languages. Sometimes you can find a teacher of an old language – to know one is to earn a bit of prestige. It’s a bit funny to look at “French” as a “dead” language, but to this society it is. Servants and Slaves to those who know these dead languages might also pick up the language themselves.

You may play characters who have heavy influence from these regions, or even live in “The Former Country of Italy,” for instance. Their accent may sound Italian, but their words are English. They can work to learn their dead language, however. It isn’t impossible, just all about having the right connections.

Occupation : Addlai is an Earl by birthright, however he works as a Historian for the society. He actually resides in the Top Seven, sitting pretty at position Three.

Height / Weight: 5’8”, 176 lbs
Body Type : He’s rather scrawny when you look at him, but he’s lithe beneathe it.
Hair : Red, and very, very long.

Distinguishing Features :
Addlai is a very effeminate looking man – obviously the type that hasn't done a bit of labour in his life and will never be fit to do so. His long red hair matches well with his vulpine ears that twitch, turn, and move like small radars to pick up every little sound. He enjoys petting them (and having them pet, but he wouldn't dare confess that) and having them brushed, and may even demand this from time to time from servants...just because another hand feels so nice. These ears are very sensitive to even the slightest of noises, and as such he tends to stray away from loud noises, as they injure his ears. Addlai wears glasses high on the bridge of his nose, though he often lets them slip and almost fall while he reads. He doesn’t particularly require these to see, but they assist in his reading – he just tends to leave them on, as it’s easier than having to find them again later.

His tail is his true source of pride : The long, bushy thing could be used to sweep the floor behind him with how long it trails out. He keeps it softer than the very hair on his head, and refuses to allow others to touch it. He has a bad habit of snapping and snarling at people over it, and throws absolute fits when it may be stepped on by the unsuspecting by-passer. It's also a pain to get caught in doorways, but that's another story all-together. He has been known to sometimes gather it into his arms, whether to merely hold it for comfort or to pet it, which does not aid in the impression that one is dealing with a nigh-on child. It is often swaying to and fro, sometimes twitching erratically, and other times almost wagging – like a domestic dog that is pleased to see their master came home from work. This often occurs when he is elated with something, or has received a gift. It may also swish and sway when he is animatedly speaking to another on a subject that interests him.

Addlai’s teeth are dangerously sharp to go with the rest of his body – The canines, in particular, are quite impressive and have little difficulty biting and ripping through something (though they have, on more than one occasion, come close to giving him a tongue piercing when he has bitten said organ). His amber eyes are set forward, constantly watching his surroundings for movement, and seem to nigh-on absorb the world they fixate upon. As for the rest of his form, Addlai has no fur to be seen. Whether this is because he maintains a clean body intentionally, or no fur has ever grown is unknown.

Personality :
Addlai is, first and foremost, an Earl and the Third Historian in Fallen Europa, and sees himself rather highly due to this. One could only wish that the bratty, snotty attitude he had developed due to his high-status and wealth would, at the very least, be balanced out by his looks – but no such luck. It isn’t that he is an unattractive child (completely the opposite : his parents genetics impressed themselves upon him rather well), it’s just that… He’s a prat, pure and simple, and he isn’t afraid to emphasize this. He often may throw small fits that seem to only place a spotlight on this less-than-desirable trait of his.

Despite looking down on others, he isn’t cruel by any stretch. Addlai is, at heart, quite the sweet gentleman. He likes the simple things of life : a good book, curled up by the fireplace, and preferably the richest wine to sip upon as he commits hours to knowledge and studies. He doesn’t often get this, however, usually bogged down by the burdens expected of him as both an Earl and a Historian. This is not to say that he doesn’t enjoy his job – On the contrary, Addlai adores his job more than most of the Historians. He just doesn’t fancy the parties and social gatherings that he is forced to attend due to his Earl status.

He’s a bit of a social recluse due to his preference in having books as his company, and it takes a bit to get the bratty-wallflower to come out and join the celebrations : Once he opens that mouth, though, you can be sure that he might have been better left in the corner. After all, who enjoys being told their opinion was incorrect and this is why all the time? He could really use a firm hand to guide him through this.

He is also quite dependent on those around him. Having been raised without much need to do thinking for himself, Addlai has come to depend on others.

Brief Biography :
Addlai Murray Keller has always been spoiled.

He was born into a rich family of well-thought Predators – In fact, his family had a long standing of being Predators. A Prey had never been born in their bloodline… Well. That survived to tell the tale, but that was a long, arduous, and gruesome tale that Addlai’s Uncle rarely spoke of. Besides, that was a cousin that had come along and…the family took care of itself, so to speak. Somehow, the Keller’s were never punished for the incident. Addlai, a future Historian, knows why they got away with it.

He had a normal childhood for a future Earl : He received whatever he wanted in unlimited amounts, was consistently told “we love you,” or “you’re so amazing, young Master” that he never considered this to be anything but the truth. He attended his institutions of higher learning with no particular goal in mind either – He already knew his future career, given to him by his wolf Father, Reinier : He would grow to become a Historian, despite being such a small Predator species with no drive or desire to pursue the career.

But hey, why not? Addlai saw being a Historian as an excuse to hoarde all the books he could ever ask for and never receive a single question over it. What more could he ask for?

Upon graduating (top of his class – money did wonders for those periods where boredom caught up with him and he simply chose not to do assignments because they were droll), Addlai was given access to his Father’s funds, an estate all his own (tended to by many servants that Addlai tends to leave well-much alone), and the keys to the Historian’s library. He now exists in this, with all the knowledge of the world at his fingertips and the snottiest attitude to never do anything with it.


Character On’s :  Addlai shares many of mine, so you can take a gander in my signature for the link. Secretly, he really wants a strong, powerful man to put him in his place just once. He’s also quite curious about what it would be like if a Prey decided to overpower him and have their way with him, but he wouldn’t dare tell anyone that.

Are you willing to allow your character to participate in Non-Consensual Activity? : I think I just signed him up for it above.
Are you willing to allow your character to have sexual interaction with those outside of their preferred sexuality? : Considering Addlai is bisexual… But, yes, I’m willing to allow sexual interaction with women for Addlai, though the (un?)lucky female might have to hold his hand through the entire process. He is a bit of a screw-up with the gentler sex.

Anything Else? :
Here’s an extensive section…

Foxes are naturally more attracted to movement – Often, an object that does not mood can be difficult for them to spot. As such, Addlai is easy to entertain by rapidly-moving objects, and he may have to squelch the urge to prepare for a pounce. He is, by all standards, still a young kit, after all. When threatened/afraid/nervous/or approaching a figure that has asserted dominance upon him, Addlai will begin to smile or grin uncontrollably – It’s a laughable look, really, as it is clearly not a true smile : more one that wavers and shakes. This too is a toss-back to a natural fox trait, wherin the fox in these same circumstances will actually begin to grin at its opponent. He may also have a perchance to communicate through whines, yips, and whimpers instead of using actual vocal words.

Appearance : Reinier is a tall, imposing sort of man who commands the room the minute he enters it – His ears are set high on his head, often set forward, and his piercing blue eyes – those matching his species of wolf – are often narrowed and watching : as if waiting for the opportune moment. His hair matches the fur of his ears, as well as the fur of his carefully groomed and tended to tail. It is often hidden from sight beneathe his clothes, however, as he does not take the same level of pride in it that his son does. His hands are large, as his paws would be, and his teeth are set to match. When they are bore at an opponent, they are quite the sight to behold.

Personality : This is not a particularly pleasant gentlemen by any degree. Reinier knows what he wants, when he wants it, and no questions asked – receives what he wants. He is willing to cut any throats needbe to get where he needs in life, and has no remorse for those he may step upon along the way. He tried to instill these same beliefs in his son, but Addlai seems to have inherited relatively little in comparison. He is ruthless in his beliefs – and these beliefs often coincide with the almost out-right extermination of the Prey. He looks down at them as the inferior species and will treat them as such, even being willing to dismiss certain rules in The Monarch’s Law.

Name : Countess Lara Lynn Keller

Species : Eurasian Wolf
Age and Height : 40, 5’6”

Appearance : Unlike her husband, Lara is built smaller, partially due to her species of wolf. She is lithe and lean, willowy and slim, but has the cunning look of a predator about her as well. Her eyes, matching her husbands, watch and stalk her prey, while her ears flick forward and back to pick up a full range of sound. Her ears, instead of a heavy base in the tawny colour, have taken on a reddish shade – some say she dyes her fur to match her ears. Lara will not confirm or deny this. Her own tail is shorter than her husband’s or her son’s, but like the audacity of her boy, she enjoys keeping it out for comfort. Her teeth are smaller than Reinier’s or Addlai’s, but dangerous nonetheless.

Personality : Lara has been raised in nobility since birth, and as such has the proper air of Predatory superiority that would be expected of Reinier’s wife – This is not to say, however, that she is a perfect mirror for her husband. She is witty and quick, intelligent to a fault…but closed mouthed. She does not speak up when her ideologies do not match with her husband’s : specifically, in regard to Prey. She does not see them as lesser creatures, only as those that have fallen lower on the chain, and wishes he would not be so harsh or cruel with them. She lacks the will to speak up, however. Both of these traits seem to be things inherited by Addlai from his Mother, for better or worse.

Age and Height : 18, 5’5”

Appearance : Ambrosius seems to consistently have an expression set on his face as if he has done something wrong – or may be gearing up to do something wrong. The dog really means well… Mixed in all of that shaggy hair sits his ears, flop-eared and down, and occasionally he manages to lift them a little to appear inquisitive, but not much else. He does have a small, stubby tail, however it’s so small that it’s tucked away and hidden – no point with a stub, right? His hair, if Addlai doesn’t keep it groomed, will turn into an absolute mess as a tossback to his species as well.

Personality : This puppy is…something else. Ambrosius is a bit of a cowardly dog, usually preferring to hide back where the loud noises might not bother him, while trying to bark at it from afar. Addlai often refers to him as a “dense, useless sort of dog”, and that is a pretty apt description. He is curious to a fault, often sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong, and receives far too many admonishments from others due to this (and the messes he creates). He was a gag-gift from Reinier to his son when he had his own establishment – Something about “now you can deal with his messes”..?

Should it arise, or should other players not be interested in taking up higher mantle's in the Top Seven of the Historians, I will probably have Addlai's Father take up Position Two and begin with a plotline that I was using in the first run of this game.

Total straight reboot. Everything is fresh, new and shiny! If certain subplots that were beginning are chosen to be carried out again, we'll do that, just from square one.

Occupation : Viscount (Eldest son of an Earl) – Uninterested in his father's ways, Xavier has built his own fortune through investments (some legit and others not so much) and land ownership.

Body Type : Athletic, Muscular but not to the point of absurdity.
Hair : Tawny brown mane that is long, thick, and wavy and usually worn loose unless otherwise specified.

Distinguishing Features : His canines are longer and sharper than typical human teeth (think feline fangs), and parts of his body (arms, legs, back and shoulders) are covered in a very fine, very soft, tawny colored fur that is nearly invisible until touch alerts you to its presence. He has a scar over his left eye that bisects his eyebrow. He sometime wears neatly styled and trimmed facial hair but most times he is clean shaven.

Personality : Xavier exudes natural confidence (some might see it as arrogance but he does not) and swagger. He is charming and very much enjoys being the center of attention. He has a rather superior attitude but this is balanced by a desire to push others to their best—so long as they do not outshine him.

While he fancies himself a rather laid back guy, the truth is Xavier likes (needs) to be in control and can be rather demanding of others. He is never deliberately cruel for cruelty's sake but the level of discipline and excellence he expects from his subordinates can make him seem harsh to those on the outside. Of course, those belonging to him know that he is quite loyal, loving, and extremely protective.

When alone he enjoys lounging before a fire, entertaining private guests, talking with his sisters, and sketching. He does like to gamble occasionally but is generally smart about not losing control.

Brief Biography : Lord Tobias Xavier Cardiff is the first born son, though second born child, of Tobias J. Cardiff (an Arctic Wolf) and his beloved Lily (a Red Fox). His twin sister (born 3 minutes before) is a Siberian Tiger, while his younger sister is a sleek Arctic Fox, and his baby sister is a gorgeous little Dragonfly with the most gentle disposition. While Xavier does come from a long and well respected line full of predators, it is far from what one would consider pure. However, any non-predators that may be produced tend to be either rare or exceptional in some other notable way and perhaps this is why the so called 'taint' of their line is most often over looked or 'excused'.

For Xavier, childhood was anything but a cake walk despite their wealth and high status. The Earl was determined that his children, particularly the twins, would not be over indulgent twits and so he governed them with an iron fist. Xavier especially was drilled daily and frequently he would fall into bed exhausted after a hard day under his father's tutelage. Were it not for the balance of his mother's gentler ways, he might have become a different man entirely. Still, the point of his father’s harshness was not lost on him and though he does not follow directly in his old man's footsteps, it is clear that he has taken some of his lessons to heart.

With the death of his mother just 6 years ago, Xavier's father became more deeply entrenched in court life and grows more distant from his family by the day. True to the ways of the lion, Xavier has taken full responsibility for his sisters, seeing to their comfort and well-being. He does everything in his power to see that they never have to work unless they should choose to, guarding his baby sister the closest and spoiling her rotten. One day she will likely be married off by their father (or possibly even sold or claimed by the Monarch) but Xavier will do his utmost to be sure whoever she ends up with is worthy of her. There is little he wouldn’t do for his sisters.

He himself enjoys the life of a wealthy bachelor and the challenges of finagling several investments, both above board and below. He does not entirely agree with the stratification of predator and prey but any efforts contrary to The Monarch's Law are done completely out of sight as are his more risky business deals--his identity is often completely obscured if there is even a chance something will have negative consequences. He will not risk his life or fortune, especially as his sisters depend upon him.

On’s and Off’s : Xavier's ons and offs pretty much mirror my own. He is drawn to different sorts of women for different reasons so it is hard to say he has a type.
Are you willing to allow your character to participate in Non-Consensual Activity? : If there is a character that could do so realistically--he’s a pretty big guy--then  I don't mind. Xavier would only do so himself if pushed to it somehow or to make a point.
Are you willing to allow your character to have sexual interaction with those outside of their preferred sexuality? : Xavier loves attention no matter who it’s from. Still, while he prefers females, he is open to the possibility of including other males less dominant than he is. Straight up M/M is unlikely though not impossible from a plot standpoint.

Anything Else? : Xavier is capable of full out roaring and snarling when angry, he is also able to purr though that is only very rarely heard in intimate settings. He also possesses the inherent strength of his animal, as well as the typical instincts of a male lion (though they are tempered by his human side). As such he automatically sees other dominant males as challengers, though this does not mean he cannot be friendly or polite, and he views women as subordinates, though this does not mean they must be doormats or weaklings as that would be rather boring to him.

Xavier's sisters will be NPCs but since they will likely be around a fair amount I've decided to include basic descriptions just to lay things out now. Anyone may interact with them if they are present or may request their presence. They are also open to being taken on as PCs if anyone is interested. Simply let me know. They are as follows:

Sienna Irene Cardiff (Xavier's twin) - Tiger

Age: 27
Height: 5'11”
Appearance: Sienna is tall like her brother and has light brown hair and dark brown eyes. She has retractable claws, dainty yet sharp canines, a long, stripped tail that she keeps covered under her skirts despite the discomfort, and a slightly more dense musculature. Like her brother, parts of her  body are covered in a nearly invisible coating of soft fur.

Brief Description: Sienna always appears polite and well bred. She can seem a tad mysterious but only because she does not need to be the center of attention and can even be a bit reserved. She does have a playful side but that is only for those she is close to. She hates her father and those she views as being like him, but very much idolizes her brother. As stubborn as her brother, she is a formidable foe in any regard. She has a bit of a temper and a nasty tongue when it is set off. Xavier takes good care of her, even encourages her to see to her own business interests so she does have a small nest egg in addition to being the current heir of his estate. Despite her age, she feels no pressure to be wed. Deep down she is a romantic and if she cannot marry for love she wants no part in it.

Serena Brielle Cardiff – Arctic Fox

Age: 23
Height: 5'2”
Appearance: Serena has a vaguely vulpine look to her features in addition to a thick, white tail and fox ears that sit upon her head. Her hair is a pale, pale blond, her eyes a vibrant shade of icy blue and she has elongated canines. At 5'2” she is the shortest of her siblings but is also the most voluptuous of her sisters.

Basic Description: Serena is the most social of the three sisters. She loves to meet new people and has a great deal of her mother's charm. She is also incredibly crafty and even a bit mischievous at times. She has a big heart and though she loves her family dearly, she is ready to be out from under her brother's ever protective ways. Unfortunately, she knows the only way to get that is to be married off to a suitable male.



Lily Noelle Cardiff – Dragonfly

Age: 18
Height: 5'8”
Appearance: Lily is tall and well proportioned, with brown hair and brown eyes. She moves with the liquid grace of a natural dancer and often times seems to float on air. Her appearance is mostly human but for the set of seemingly delicate wings (they are much more durable than a true dragonlfly’s wings) on her back. When spread they are long and elegant, shimmering with shades of deep pink, purple, and blue. Her wings are strong enough to stir the air around her but she cannot outright fly.

Basic Description: Lily is soft spoken and more than a bit shy. Still, she likes to socialize where she can but she tries her best not to draw attention to herself. Despite being of a gentle disposition, she does have a backbone and is not afraid to stand up for herself... just most of the time she has no need to since Xavier is right there to defend her at seemingly every turn. Really she is a bit pampered as her siblings all look out for her, sheltering her from most things, which in turn has filled her with a raging curiosity. She loves to dance, it is all she wants to do, however her greatest fear is to come under the scrutiny of the Court. She fears she would end up caged for others amusement.

Body Type : Fit and curvy
Hair : Dark brown and is as soft and lustrous as a mink coat, her hair falls to the middle of her back but is styled in various ways depending upon the occasion
Eyes : Brown
Distinguishing Features : A set of small and dainty ears that are mostly hidden by her full head of hair. She does possess sharp canines and sharp nails, but other than that her animal traits are confined to things such as flexibility, senses, and notable swimming ability.

Personality : Seraphina possess a sharp intelligence as well as a love of money and comfort. Her mind is always running, always devising her next script or some new way to attract customers, or whatever else has become important to her for the moment.

After her experiences with her adoptive father, Lord DeWitt, Seraphina finds that male predators both excite and repulse her. However, she is a natural flirt and, despite her feelings regarding predators, tends to be friendly to anyone with enough money. Being poor or of lower status does not get you ignored at all but she has a hidden agenda to fund and there is something satisfying about doing so with money gained from the Upper class.

While it may seem to some that she is rather promiscuous and oversexed, the truth is that Seraphina is quite selective about who gets past the initial stages of flirting and teasing. Deep down she harbors a need to love and be loved in return but does not expect that to ever be within her reach given the path her life has taken. So rather than dwell on what cannot be, she focuses much of her attention on what she can change and if people choose to focus on the outward appearance of things then so be it. It only benefits her to have others underestimate her.

Seraphina enjoys spending time in the taverns and brothels when she is not working—and sometimes even when she is. After all, in her opinion the best way to know what the masses want is to be among them. She hates that prey are treated as lesser and despite knowing the danger it puts her in, considering the size of her fan base, often times there are very subtle messages regarding social status and treatment of prey in her shows as she does support equality for prey.


Brief Biography: Seraphina was born to a family of prey under the name Sara Towns. Growing up she experienced the limitations of her parents, gaining a full understanding of the plight of prey in society—which was not something that sat well with her. The one shining spot in her perhaps unfair youth was that Sara's father worked for a Theater company building sets and doing other forms of manual labor that the Predators wouldn't touch.

As soon as she was old enough she began tagging along and pitching in to help earn more money for the family. While it was her task to see to things like costumes and running endless errands, it didn't stop her from memorizing every play that crossed her path. Standing in the wings she would mimic the dancers and during rehearsals she would sing along off stage until one day the owner noticed she did indeed have talent and got her an in with a local actor's troupe, earning her a minor role at the age of 16. From there it was all over. Sara was well and truly hooked.

The owner, Lord DeWitt—a Baron of some repute—thought she had something special as well but unfortunately, with the stigma of being labeled prey attached to her he could do no more for her. At least that was what he told her parents. Unless... her parents were willing to let him adopt Sara? He would even compensate them for their loss with extra wages. Seeing Sara's desire and knowing that their daughter deserved a chance at something great, the Towns agreed. However, the owner had not been completely upfront and naïve little Sara would learn first-hand that nothing came without a price. 

No matter how she felt about the things Lord DeWitt made her do just for small bits here and there, Sara knew that in the end it would be worth it when she could be free of him. It did take some time but when she was 21, she finally had saved up enough to buy her own freedom... by hiring someone to take care of her little problem.

After Lord DeWitt's death, Seraphina inherited all of his estate as he had no other children or blood relatives. She also inherited his title but she does not acknowledge it unless it is absolutely necessary. She gives no other nod to her adoption other than the change of her name from Sara Towns to Seraphina DeWitt.

Once she took over, Seraphina let the Theater Company run as it had, expanding to two other locations with the help of investors so that she could reach different audiences but she also began a side venture. She got together a small group of talented women who wanted to do something different from the norm and created her own burlesque troupe. It took a few hits and misses but eventually they found the right combination and became quite the hit, allowing Seraphina to live in relative comfort and security while also providing funding to a small group of prey supporters and their causes.

On’s and Off’s : Seraphina can be either dominant or submissive depending on who her partner is. Once she has decided to give in to her urges, she is sexually adventurous, loves any hint of the forbidden, and a little force from a strong male goes a long way with her. See my O&Os for offs.

Occupation : Countess; As the only child of the Count of Illiander, her family's money and estates fell to her when her parents died, her mother trying to give birth what would have been their second child and her father in a hunting accident when she was 19. Even if she utterly neglected them she would do quite well from them but she doesn't she travels to each of her three estates at least once a year to go over the details of their running with well trusted servants who served her father loyally before her.

Hair : Chestnut curls that fall to the middle of her back but are usually worn up to bare her back and it's shimmering scales.
Eyes : Deep chocolate brown that can be almost black when smoldering with passion or glittering like ice in anger.
Distinguishing Features : Jezebel has a shimmering line of scales that trails from the base of her skull down her spine to the small of her back. Most are shade of brown and tan but there are also black eye marks and a few streaks of varying shades of green. When angered she also as a "cowl" that seems to snap out from her neck, much like a Cobra's hood, and for the truly unwary she carries a snake's retractable fangs and venomous bite.
 
Personality : Intelligent and analytical it often surprises people when Jezebel is much warmer thank the snake her DNA shows her to be. She is human too after all with all the needs and passions that that brings to her genetic mix. She can be cold and without mercy when she feels betrayed but can also be moved to compassion.

A woman of many contradictions she doesn't take her status lightly but doesn't think that simply being Prey should necessarily limit you to the lowest rungs of society. In fact the overseers on all three of her estates are either Prey or In-between as are many of her most highly placed servants. Part of the reason she earns so much loyalty from those who serve her is because she rewards them based on merit, not species.

In the company of her peers her personality can seem mercurial at times. Cold and distant with some, warm and full of fire with others and utterly heartless with still others. Her loyalty is not easily earned but once it is she is not easily swayed from it. She can be the most constant friend or enemy you could find anywhere and her temper is both hot and long lasting. Minor annoyances are quickly forgotten but once truly angered it is best to watch your back, she's patient and ruthless when it comes to revenge.

Brief Biography : Jezebel was raised by her father after her mother died trying to give birth to their second child, who died as well. He never remarried and he made his daughter his world, teaching her to run their estates as he would have taught a son and delighting in the way she picked up everything he had to teach her. He was as proud of her as any parent could ever be. Her tutors were also proud of her and her successes as she learned at an astonishing rate.

It never occurred to them that she learned so quickly as a means of getting rid of them so that she could go and do as she liked.

When not on their estates, their time was spent at the Court of the Monarch where she was always made to feel welcome and special not just because of being a rare reptile but also because her fangs, with their venom sacs, marked her as truly dangerous and therefore someone to be cultivated as an ally...and watched in case she ever decided not to be. She didn't mind the minor intrigues and her father taught her how to maneuver through the Court with ease.

With his death she was left as the last of her line and began to spend even more time at Court. While she still loves her estates they remind her far too much of her father even now, three years after his death, and she can't stand to spend more time at them than what is needed to keep them running smoothly. She hopes that, given enough time, that will change but for now they are both the source of her income and painful reminders of the family she no longer has. 

On’s and Off’s : On's: Intelligence, kindness combined with a certain ruthlessness, passion, gentleness and roughness depending on her mood, long conversations, a glass of wine by a roaring fire, that knowing look in a man's eye when he know's he's going to get to see you naked

** The On's list is by no means comprehensive, some things come out in play that I just might not have thought off. The Off's are her "absolutely not's" anything else can be negotiated. :)

Are you willing to allow your character to participate in Non-Consensual Activity? : Possibly. She could be coerced into sexual activity with another female (perhaps trying a threesome, or even just finding herself inexplicably drawn to someone unexpected)  but not outright raped by one and rape by a male would have to fit the context of the game and have some of the aftermath negotiated.

Anything Else? : Unbeknownst to many, Jezebel, has a passion for music and has quite the gift with the piano as well as a lovely contralto singing voice. She also enjoys the history of their world and probably knows most of what you can find out short of becoming a Historian.

Hair : A thick, golden curtain that would kiss the top curve of her butt if it wasn't usually worn in an intricate coif to reveal her "wings".
Eyes : Light brown, almost amber and usually flashing with mirth.
Distinguishing features : Giselle looks uncannily human until you see her back and the backs of her arms. Because of this she is often dressed in simply gowns that bare her back and arms revealing what looks like an intricate tattoo of buff colored wings. Only when one touches them do you realize that it's not a tattoo at all but actual feathers against her skin where wings would have been if she had been born a bird.

Personality : Despite being a slave for most of her life, Giselle is sweet and kind-hearted, always willing to help another if it was in her power to do so. She has the exuberance of youth and a lust for life and all it has to offer. She's an intelligent girl and learned her place at Court quickly and works within it to earn herself the best place she can.

Brief Biography : As a child her parents found the farm they worked failing and their ability to feed themselves, and their children, limited and so they did the only thing they could think to do. They sold their most precious asset, their youngest daughter. Even as a child the other aspect of the bird whose wings she carried had been clear, she could sing more sweetly than even an angel and her price, when she was sold to the Court of the Monarch itself, had been substantial enough to ensure her family was fed for an entire year even if her parents did nothing. 

Even as a slave, life in the Court wasn't all bad. Many of the servants and other slaves were indulgent of her because she was a child and because she would often find time to stop by the kitchens, maids quarters etc. and sing for them when she wasn't being ordered to sing for the Court. She had chores she was responsible for but the main expectation put on her was to use her voice to entertain the Court. She was often in the corners at balls and galas, the sweet tones of her voice filling halls and rooms for those who would otherwise never notice her.

On rare occasions she was even called to entertain private functions for a particular Peer and their chosen guests but she never forgot her place. For all that she was dressed nicely so as not to offend the eyes of the Court she was well aware of her place in it. It had only taken a few punishments as a child to learn to keep her eyes down and her voice silent in the presence of Peers unless it was asked for.

On’s and Off’s : Being young, and a slave, she doesn't have much experience and is still learning much of what she likes and doesn't like. She is attracted to many men and some women for differing reasons and hasn't entirely figured out the why's of either. Absolute off's are the same as for Jezebel, no scat, urine, or underage and most anything else can be negotiated.

Are you willing to allow your character to participate in Non-Consensual Activity? : NC is allowed so long as it's a believable situation.

Are you willing to allow your character to have sexual interaction with those outside of their preferred sexuality? : She likes both so this is a non-issue though she may not like a particular person it wouldn't be their gender that turns her off to them.

Anything Else? : Giselle's greatest wish is that, one day, one of the Peers will buy her contract, free her, and take her under their patronage. She knows that with her voice she could earn a patron a great deal of money but that the odds are that if a Peer did buy her from the Court it would be unlikely she'd be freed since they wouldn't have to pay a slave at all. Even knowing the practicalities, and that her life is far easier as a slave than many peoples are as free men and women, she still yearns to be free one day herself.

Predator / Prey / Somewhere Between: Mostly Predator.
Occupation: Mercenary, and whatever else he can find.
Sexuality: Heterosexual, tempt-ably bi.

Appearance: He sports strong, angular features. His jaw is accented with slightly scruffed beard, and a moustache curls slightly over his lips. His eyes burn with a hungry energy, sparked by the wry smirk playing across his face. Tiger ears sprout from his head, flicking on reflex when irritated. His body is well muscled, thick shoulders covered by a rustled shirt and an old officer's coat. He normally wears the shirt open, letting his chest breathe, revealing his thick hair and a few scars. A long striped tail sprouts from behind, swishing back and forth. All of his body hair is soft, in a pattern matching his species.

One accessory he is rarely without, is the long, curved scimitar he'd picked up during his travels. The hilt bears intricate engravings, although most of it is covered by leather wrappings. The scabbard has clearly seen better days. While the trappings and holdings of the weapon are a bit ragged, the blade itself gleams with a well kept glamour. He wears it as one that knows how to use it.

It's apprearant from his accent that he is not a local. A bit of a Spanish flavor peppers his speech.

Personality: Antonio strives to be a man of character. He feels he is gifted, and as such has a certain responsibility to use that gift to help others. Although, he does has a habit of helping himself first. Despite his best efforts, he is a troublemaker. There is little he enjoys more than challenging and flustering authority. Maybe it's a deep seated daddy issue, maybe it's the inner Robin Hood trying to get out. Either way, he has that special talent.

Antonio struggles with his identity as a Predator. His line of work has shown him rabbits that have the courage of lions, and lions that have the cowardice of mice. But still, it's difficult to champion the removal of a system that grants him so many perks. Many a round of drinks have been called for and left unpaid, save for a vague threat from an obscure, fictional relative. Countless barmaids wooed with stories of summers at the family estate in the country, that didn't exist. And more than once he has enjoyed having his way with the more meek among the Prey.

When met with 'proper' Predators, he tends to react with resentment.  Those that have lived posh and spoiled lifestyles irritate him, especially when they exercise a level of wealth and power over him. He is young and impulsive, and has a sharp, dry, and sarcastic wit. Confident when he can control the conversation and situation. When that control is threatened, his temper gets short. While he may fly off the handle verbally, he tries to refrain from violence in anger. When his grip on the control is maintained, he tends to tease and taunt future conquests of both pride and lust.

Brief Biography: Born on the borders of the Monarch's control, Antonio was blessed to be born into an officer's family. Antonio did not get along well with his father, a hound with an unwavering sense of loyalty to the society and Monarch that granted them such favor. While the young man was growing, he had all the qualities of leadership ingrained in him, whether he wanted it or not. To this day, he strugles with what he feels is an unatainable ideal. His mother made sure to teach him compassion, though young Antonio hadn't realized it. He was inducted into an officer school, per request from his father. Antonio had gotten kicked out of the academy in short order, having frustrated his commanding officer into a near fatal heart attack. Something to do with Antonio getting caught with the commander's daughter. Antonio tends to gloss over the details.

After causing stress related heart disease, Antonio left the comforts of pleasant society and his family ties, opting to head into the wild, lawless lands beyond the Monarch's reach.  For a few years he would scrape by, sleeping in barns and paying his way with manual labor. This drew a great deal of attention, a young fit Predator doing such menial work. While Antonio did not mind the work, he yearned for something more. He wanted the respect of those around him. Lessons his father had taught him echoed in his mind, reminding him of a life he refused to return to. It was when Antonio met his current mentor that he gained a little direction that the young man had been lacking.

When Antonio first met the one-eared hare, he thought the man crazy. But it wasn't long until the old man earned the young tiger's respect, just by his frank and honest attitude. The Hare was a merchant and a mercenary, a rather successful one at that.  After being inducted into the band, proudly wearing the emblem tattooed on his left bicep, Antonio began learning a wide variety of skills. He learned to fight, recklessly and ruthlessly, forgetting most of what the academy had taught him. He learned to trade and barter, how to turn an enemy to a friend with a few choice words. He learned to run and climb, through trees and rooftops, leaping and looking in a single moment.  The band of mercenaries and merchants became like a family to Antonio, and had gotten him out of more than a few scrapes.

Last season, the band was commissioned by the Monarch to protect a group of Historians on an expedition. Antonio found the research mildly interesting at best. What did catch his attention however, was the invitation to the Monarch's Court that fell in the Hare's lap. Travelling along with the band, it was the first time Antonio had seen the city in the heart of the Monarch's power. He was awestruck. The buildings, the tempting rooftops, and more tempting, the ladies, all left the tiger hungry for more.  When the Hare announced the band was headed overseas, Antonio took his leave, using his limited connections to land a similar contract, escorting a Historian (well, Historian's assistant.) on one of these expeditions.  The 'Historian' made sure to hide every artifact they found, snatching it away from Antonio before he could as much lay his eyes on it.  Not that it would have mattered, on account of Antonio rolling those eyes with every bit of junk or old book they dug out of the dirt. All he wanted was an invitation to the court, and if watching this 'Historian' fret about his manicure would get it, so be it!

Just recently, Antonio has made his way back to the city. No formal invitation yet, but the pay for the job was good. With a full purse and empty plans, he heads into the city proper, following his feet wherever they may take him.

On's and Off's: Generally the same as in my Role Play Preferences. Here are the highlights.
On: Roughness, teasing, domination, power-swaps. Non-con. Public/outdoor.
Off: Gore, bathroom stuff, mutilation. Most 'extreme' stuff.

Distinguishing Features : He has a spiraling black tribal tattoo that extends from the top of his left shoulder to the bend of his elbow, and wears a burnished steel collar stamped to identify him as property of a rent house. His ears are pulled back, distinctly feline in shape, and his teeth have a slightly sharper point to them then would normally occur. His irises also bear the vertical slit that marks him as being one of the felinoids.

Personality : Gideon is.. hedonistic. He views the world as something to be enjoyed and in so doing truly live. Worries such as Prey and Predator are second to him, especially where the law is concerned. As long as he is secure in his cozy little bubble and pleasing himself (or being pleased by someone else) the world can turn on as it pleases.

This having been said, he is incredibly insecure. Unwittingly he seeks out people of power or influence that can provide him with security and protection, or even just affirmation of his worth in the world. While he will never admit it, his desire to feel loved and needed has put him in the position he is in and he frequently ends up with exactly the opposite. Gideon strives to obscure this need by convincing himself that the world exists to serve him, while in reality he is the servant.

In his personal life he can be very calm, but is prone to bouts of extreme energy. He will nap for hours on end, then disappear into the night to an underground party where he will dance until they close and force him out. Despite his profession, he is an avid reader and enjoys curling up with a good book in front of a warm fire. And milk.

Brief Biography : Gideon was born to a regular, lower class family. They were well off, as much as Prey families could be, beholden to a local lord who held the rights to their home. Gideon was the youngest of three boys, and the only Predator, and as such was the pampered child. He never struggled as a child, or even had to worry where his next meal was coming from. His life was, more or less, ideal.

When he was fourteen this changed. His parents sold him on the slave blocks without warning or explanation. They simply did. Gideon's last sight of them was counting the stacks of gold they had made from selling such a promising young Predator as he was hauled before a hundred pairs of eyes. At this point in his story almost anything could have happened, including certain death. Fate, it seemed, was not without a sense of humor as Gideon was purchased by one Mizz Lizzy, the proprietor of a local rent house. She could see the potential in the young panther, and spend the next several years training him both physically and sensually, until when he was 18 she gave him his first night at her house.

After that one encounter Gideon was hooked. He had never dreamed that he could feel so wanted or needed again after the brutal abandonment by his parents. In the arms of the men that he spent his nights with, he found again the attention he so desperately craved even as he fought against its hold over him. It was a living, and a pleasurable one at that. It seemed Gideon had come home.

Anything Else? : Gideon is a very sensual person. Most of his feline nature expresses itself in how he slinks or lounges about, much like a cat. He is, in a brief description, a power bottom. He can take control as easily as lay back and take it.

Suggestions toward two characters aside I think I'll stick with one for now... if time and energy allows I'll go for a second, but for now Gideon's my toy. Boy. Boy toy. Damnit...

I'm not the Authority, but there were a few aquatic characters before.  It depends entirely how you want to play it.  I'd suggest some lungs along side any gills.

Nice set of ideas, btw.  I'm thinking about having a hard line Predator Doberman. Played like a mix of Javert from Les Mis and William Dafoe ala Boondock Saints.  Just in case.

Just a reminder for folks, your characters' species largely determine their social status. Predator animals are very, very unlikely to be found in lower class occupations, and Prey animals will almost never (if ever) mingle with nobility or high class types on their own merit. (So Archivist, you may wish to tone Gideon down to a house cat species or something more In Between, as a panther would almost certainly be considered too high-born to work on a brothel.) ;)

As a Panther he wouldn't be Prey, however that wouldn't necessarily preclude him being a rent boy. Just because it makes him far more likely to be high class doesn't mean it has to. Especially since parents don't determine the animal genetics of their children. It could be that he was born to Prey parents, and to pay off debts, or simply to increase their wealth, or to help feed other children (whatever their motivations) they sold off the most-valuable of their children.

I would think there would be a certain segment of the Prey community that would take great pleasure in using and abusing a "safe" Predator.

Hm, well, he could be a noble or something who spends his time slumming at Mizz Lizzy's, either just as a patron or working as a rent boy on the sly. All you'd need to do is tweak his history a little to fit, I think. We had a Predator char in the last iteration who preferred the company of Prey to his fellow Predators.
...And of course, Ashley would be thrilled to have a feline playmate to pass time with now and then. :P

Height / Weight: 5’3” / 125lbs
Body Type : Caprice prides herself on her appearance, thus, she keeps herself slim and incredibly fit.
Hair : White
Eyes : Gray, with the barest hint of blue
Distinguishing Features : As pictured, however; her skin is incredibly pale and nearly translucent. If she turned her hand, arm, or leg just so, one could vaguely see the blood vessels and veins beneath her flesh. Because of this, at times her skin appears to hold a bluish tint. She is slender and willowy, her species easily identifiable in her movements and the way she physically carries herself.

Her eyes are just slightly blue. The tint they hold is a watery gray, similar to the sea after a storm. Small rings around her pupils are strikingly silver, perhaps in tribute to sea foam.

Her hair is white, and incredibly thin and whispy, similar to how a jellyfish’s tentacles would appear underwater. Mixed in with the strands are actual tentacles, so thin and well-hidden that they are hardly noticeable beneath the many layers of her white hair. She is poisonous, as was customary with the now-extinct jellyfish. Lucky for her (and thanks to her occupation), she’s managed to come across a lab-created anti-toxin created from the mucus of the Clownfish. She uses this quite liberally throughout her hair, in the hopes that she won’t kill someone if they attempt to “pet” her, but sometimes she misses one or two poisonous tendrils . . . Of course, one can never be too sure if this is accidental, or on purpose.

Personality : Caprice is a rather nasty woman, though not physically. She looks out for herself, and only herself. She is honest, blunt, and sometimes downright cruel. She (like many of the other Predators) believes that she is better than everyone else, and the air she displays to others makes this very clear.

She is rather heartless; some claim she truly has no emotions. Except for hate, which is apparently a very strong attribute for her. If she smiles, it’s normally at someone else’s expense, and usually after she’s emotionally traumatized them.

She is not a nice person.

Brief Biography : Caprice’s father was a crocodile, her mother was a bear, yet they both adored Prey and felt they deserved more from life. As she came from a predator family, Caprice inherited what was rightfully hers upon their untimely death, which she swears she had no part in, however suspicious it might have been . . .

Now, she runs her father’s estate and simply does as she wishes day in and day out. Her home is loaded with servants (who are mostly slaves, since she really doesn’t think they deserve to be paid), who take care of most all of the necessities for her. Her servants do not like her, nor do they respect her. They fear her. There have been several “accidents” around the estate since her parents died, and none of them wish to be the next one marked off the list. They all know that, should they upset or anger her, they will be next to "slip and fall."

Character On’s :  (Similar to my own) Caprice is very independent and rather dominant, though part of her yearns for a man to truly put her in her place. Whether she’ll kill him before he gets the chance, well . . .

Odette's late husband passed in a fire - an unfortunate circumstance brought about through the over-stoking of his oven - and Odette went through a deep period of mourning which her neighbors thought she would never emerge from.  But hey! It sounded pretty - she often sings when emotional.  Since that time she has put one foot in front of the other, taken over the bakery and done her best to bring her husbands business back to its former success.

His ears are pulled back, distinctly feline in shape, and his teeth have a slightly sharper point to them then would normally occur. His irises also bear the vertical slit that marks him as being one of the felinoids.

Personality : Gideon is.. hedonistic. He views the world as something to be enjoyed and in so doing truly live. Worries such as Prey and Predator are second to him, especially where the law is concerned. As long as he is secure in his cozy little bubble and pleasing himself (or being pleased by someone else) the world can turn on as it pleases.

This having been said, he is incredibly insecure. Unwittingly he seeks out people of power or influence that can provide him with security and protection, or even just affirmation of his worth in the world. While he will never admit it, his desire to feel loved and needed has put him in the position he is in and he frequently ends up with exactly the opposite. Gideon strives to obscure this need by convincing himself that the world exists to serve him, while in reality he is the servant.

In his personal life he can be very calm, but is prone to bouts of extreme energy. He will nap for hours on end, then disappear into the night to an underground party where he will dance until they close and force him out. Despite his profession, he is an avid reader and enjoys curling up with a good book in front of a warm fire. And milk.

Brief Biography : Gideon was born to a regular, lower class family. They were well off, as much as Prey families could be, beholden to a local lord who held the rights to their home. Gideon was the youngest of three boys, and the only Predator, and as such was the pampered child. He never struggled as a child, or even had to worry where his next meal was coming from. His life was, more or less, ideal.

When he was fourteen this changed. His parents sold him on the slave blocks without warning or explanation. They simply did. Gideon's last sight of them was counting the stacks of gold they had made from selling such a promising young Predator as he was hauled before a hundred pairs of eyes. At this point in his story almost anything could have happened, including certain death. Fate, it seemed, was not without a sense of humor as Gideon was purchased by one Mizz Lizzy, the proprietor of a local rent house. She could see the potential in the young panther, and spend the next several years training him both physically and sensually, until when he was 18 she gave him his first night at her house.

After that one encounter Gideon was hooked. He had never dreamed that he could feel so wanted or needed again after the brutal abandonment by his parents. In the arms of the men that he spent his nights with, he found again the attention he so desperately craved even as he fought against its hold over him. It was a living, and a pleasurable one at that. It seemed Gideon had come home.

Suggestions toward two characters aside I think I'll stick with one for now... if time and energy allows I'll go for a second, but for now Gideon's my toy. Boy. Boy toy. Damnit...

I like the way that this eventually went together : Selling off the son is an interesting twist, and a method to get the Predator into the slum status. This worked well, and I totally approve of it.

I should state in regards to Predator creatures obtaining Prey status : It is very possible for a Predator to fall to Prey status. This occurred with Lords and Ladies in Victorian Period all the time. Usually they fell out of power or wealth, but other methods could bring it about. A Predator existing in a Prey status in this verse is going to earn them extreme mockery from both Predators and Prey. In their opinion, it's pretty pathetic for someone to have fallen so low that should easily be so high.

So, not impossible at all, but know that characters must have circumstances to fall into this, and they're not going to be viewed nicely!

As for water limitations, gills + lungs have been the way that this went before. This was a character played before who had decided to use an aquatic creature and how she handled it. I thought it went very, very well. Caprice, that you will find played by Demi here, is another good display of how you can go about this.

If she turned her hand, arm, or leg just so, one could vaguely see the blood vessels and veins beneath her flesh. Because of this, at times her skin appears to hold a bluish tint. She is slender and willowy, her species easily identifiable in her movements and the way she physically carries herself.

Her eyes are just slightly blue. The tint they hold is a watery gray, similar to the sea after a storm. Small rings around her pupils are strikingly silver, perhaps in tribute to sea foam.

Her hair is white, and incredibly thin and whispy, similar to how a jellyfish’s tentacles would appear underwater. Mixed in with the strands are actual tentacles, so thin and well-hidden that they are hardly noticeable beneath the many layers of her white hair. She is poisonous, as was customary with the now-extinct jellyfish. Lucky for her (and thanks to her occupation), she’s managed to come across a lab-created anti-toxin created from the mucus of the Clownfish. She uses this quite liberally throughout her hair, in the hopes that she won’t kill someone if they attempt to “pet” her, but sometimes she misses one or two poisonous tendrils . . . Of course, one can never be too sure if this is accidental, or on purpose.

Honestly it's mostly just because I've been playing a character with a large tail in another game and it's a full-time occupation thinking of where the tail is at any given moment and how it interacts with various pieces of furniture, etc. I thought it might be easier to go without a tail this time.

But reading how Addlai treats his, it will be quite amusing (I'm sorry but I actually hadn't fully read through Addlai's sheet previously).

Body Type : A little stronger than most would expect, he's still quite lean with a more athletic build.

Distinguishing Features : He has an impressive pair of horns from the top of his head and a small white deer's tail. His ears are deer-like as well atop his head.

Personality : Johan feels a lot of resentment about the way prey are treated within Europa. He's careful not to show it, hiding it beneath a happy-go-lucky demeanour, but he has a lot of frustration buried within him. One of the main ways he relieves this feeling is by going on his own 'predator hunts', carefully seducing the predators who let him into his household to paint a portrait. In one house he might try to seduce the neglected trophy wife whose picture her husband hired him to paint. In another he might seduce their eldest son and force him to admit that he likes being used. It amuses him to 'turn the tables' on the high and mighty, particularly when he can assume a dominant position over them.

He also feels a strong sense of loyalty toward other prey animals, doing his best to help them wherever possible. Part of his frustration stems from how little help he manages to be.

Brief Biography : Johan has a loving family, who are also all prey animals. From a young age he had a talent and strong interest in art, and although his family was reasonably supportive, there were practical matters to consider. He was strongly encouraged to give up art and work alongside the rest of his family in the dockyards loading cargo. He did this for many years but never gave up on his love for art. Eventually he gathered up the courage to quit his hated job and try to support himself solely through his artwork. So far he's managed it.

Character preferences
Johan is quite reluctant to be taken advantage of, however this is part of his character and not a preference of mine. Feel free to violate his preferences however where applicable speak to me before breaking any of my own personal on/offs.

Hair : Light brown, slightly wavy, has a tendency to grown into a thick mane when not kept neatly cut.

Distinguishing Features : If left to it's own devices, his hair will grow into a thick mane that will easily flow down his back. Aware of this, he keeps it shortly trimmed by visiting a barber on a weekly basis. Neal also has a wicked scar on his right bicep that he refuses to speak of and the initials K.I. along with the date 1/21 tattooed on his left shoulder blade. He refuses to speak of what the tattoo means either.

While he looks, almost, entirely human he is stronger than one would think, given his wiry frame, and he has a stallion's ability to run for far longer distances than a simple human would. He can also run faster than a human and, if you take his clothes off you'll find that his more intimate attributes suit his animalia and that instead of toes, his feet end in hard hooves which he hides with well cut boots.

Personality : From the outside, Neal would seem to be as large a study in contradictions as the Countess he serves. Quiet but highly intelligent and opinionated most of the people that come into contact with him while he escorts the Countess to various functions end up complimenting her on how very well trained her staff is. What they don't realize is that his public face, and his private one, are vastly different.

Having known the Countess since she was a baby (his father worked for hers and Neal considers the Illiander estates as much his home as hers) he doesn't pull his punches when speaking to her in private. He tells her everything he sees and overhears and just what he thinks of many of the rich and spoiled in the upper echelon's of society. Loyal to a fault he'd never leave the service of the Illiander family, but he doesn't think he serves them well by being a simple "yes" man either.

Brief Biography : Neal's father was the Chief of Staff to the Count of Illiander before his death left his estates to his daughter Jezebel. Having grown up on the Illiander estates, his father taught him all he would need to know to serve the Illiander family, including a marked comparison of the fact that, unlike many Predator families, the Illiander's promoted from within and for merit. A predator serving in the Illiander household wasn't guaranteed a promotion when a job opening became available and Prey weren't necessarily demoted to keep Predator's happy. It meant that most of the staff were Prey or In-Between but also that all were loyal.

Neal's childhood was a happy one. The estates gave the young stallion plenty of room to run and play and plenty of young "fillies" to chase and protect in the form of the female children of other staff members. Everyone had their chores and responsibilities, but the Count had been a kind man who believed that children needed to be taught responsibility but shouldn't be exploited and should have time to be children.

As a young adult, Neal had been given tutors and classes (even taking some with the young Countess herself) in etiquette, dancing, book-keeping, reading, writing, current events, affairs of state, etc., so that he would be able well equipped to take over his father's position upon his retirement or death. His favorite lessons were those in fighting, swordsmanship, and marksmanship. Not only was he meant to be able to help run the estates but to act as body-guard and protector to the young Countess as needed and he excelled in such training. There had been times he hated those lessons, but mostly he appreciated the doors that such learning could open for him if he ever did leave the estates. He had no intention of doing so, but the death of the Count, leaving only Jezebel left of the family, drove home how tenuous life could be and the fact that only one heartbeat, Jezebel's, stood between contentment and whatever fate could decide to throw at all of the staff on the Illiander estates.

Are you willing to allow your character to participate in Non-Consensual Activity? : He's unlikely to engage in non-consensual sexual activity, though non-consent of other forms (blackmail, abduction etc.) are possible if he thinks he's doing it in the service of Illiander. Getting him into a non-consensual situation would be difficult but if it truly helped the storyline I wouldn't be against it. Outright rape I would prefer to avoid.
Are you willing to allow your character to have sexual interaction with those outside of their preferred sexuality? : Neal likes women but wouldn't necessarily mind flirting with men and while he's not going to seek a man out for sex, if a female partner he was with wanted to engage in a MFM threesome he wouldn't be adverse to such a sharing but wouldn't go into it thinking he'd be having sex with the other male either.

Anything Else? : Neal is Illiander's man heart and soul. Telling him something personal is safe, but telling him something that will effect Illiander in any way, is the same as telling the Countess herself. Also, while he serves the Countess, he's not going to have a problem with acting outside of her knowledge if he thinks it's for the good of Illiander.

Idea's I'm working on/ bouncing around my head.

Rain a female half breed house cat and Siberian tiger mix. The owner of a high class restaurant/show house owner and performer. Think Burlesque only with a Victorian feel( and the occasional proper show.). The VIP section is paned with with either glass or shadow box affect so those with high standing may come and enjoy themselves as well. She also owns a prey club a bit further down the way, one she understands their standing and two PROFIT why cut out the chance to make money. There are also rumors about a fight club that happens in the low end of the city. Though no one pushing the matter as it seems Rain as exceedingly good standing with a few lords and ladies. Known to be able to get what they want when they want it. It is rumored that she also fights in the fighting rings fights. But she as a lady would never speak of such a thing. She has her fingers in a great man dishes, and knows a few dark secrets of the high standing class. It maybe part of the reason the allow her to hold her standing, or it could simply be she is that damn good.

Lola a monkey type she was a street kid worked in a show for a while as an acrobatic act. But do to hard times it fell even though a great man of the performers are still about. As she grew older Lola turned to more adult ways of making money and surviving. She is currently trying to pull together the show once more. Wishing to leave her whoring days behind, for something she used to love. Was thinking of maybe making a link with Archivist if he wanted to.

Vivian the Bull shark, a young noble that knows and embraces her place. She is a predator and enjoys being such. Strong dominate and unshakable her father seeks to pair her a just as powerful partner. Though she has a wilder curious side to her, and even though she has her place to fill eventually. For now she will embrace what the good life has to offer.

Analise a young yet promising butterfly, the hidden treasure of her family. She will work for the monarch, her delicate build and origin has carried over to her personality. But her mind is sharp and despite not being a predator she doesn't shy away from the world. She finds herself eagerly ready to embrace what the world has for her. Even her father wants to hide her way from it to protect her. She is beautiful and the wings she has a colorful the color of the dancing along the edges of her skin giving her a soft glow that never seems to fade from her skin. 

Any way those are the idea's I'm brain storming and trying to flesh out .let me know what you think and if yu have any ideas. :)

Personality : Rain may not look it, her beautiful face and well toned body. But don't let the those pretty eyes fool you, those that know her can tell you what a type of temptress lies beneath. Strong willed, confident, and quick witted all traits she has learned over her years of travel.  Her animal nature controlled and clearly used to her advantage. Though there are moments when you can tell she connects with the animal within. And she enjoys every moment of it.

She is known for unshakable nature, having to be an unmovable force of her own. A woman in this day and age was either a trail blazer, or a house wife. And she certainly was something as simple as a house wife. She never really talks about her past, just tid bits here and there. She has strong will, a loyal heart, is stubborn as hell, and has a temper that can rival and shake anyone around her when truly provoked. She is heat, passion, exploration, strength, mysterious, seduction,  all in one untamed and amazingly curvy well-toned body.


Brief Biography :
Rain was born to a woman that was a servant to a noble house. The classic young noblemen fell in love with the servant girl. Sweeping her off her feet promising her the world and sleeping with her. Getting her pregnant and of course as all stories went she had a happy ending....not likely. Once her mother told the man she was pregnant he dismissed her. Saying she was nothing but a whore and that it was not his child. Disgracing her mother and ruining her chancing at finding a good husband. Having to settle for the only man that would have her ruined and used body. The local butcher a bear of a man, literally as he came from a bear blood line. The young woman did good not to lose her child as the man took to beating her. Giving birth early to Rain, so named for the storm that came that night. Her mother always loved the rain thinking it left behind a clean slate and a promise of something new. And that was what she wanted for her, hope of a better life.

As the years past Rain grew into a lovely young woman. Her mother taking beatings and forced to give birth to two more children both boys. Rain and her mother were both treated as lessors in the house hold. Both were beaten for any wrong look or word. Which never meant anything good for Rain as she was always a defiant and challenging young woman. So she spent many nights recovering from what her father’s fist had done. When she 13 Rain was told that she was to be married off to one of her father’s friends when she turned 14. A much older merchant, a man that was just like her father. Rumors even travel about the low ends of town of this man having beaten his last wife to death. It was than Rain decided to really fight back; she refused to marry the man and even told her father off. Her brothers only laughed at her words. But her father was outraged and beat Rain so badly she was out cold for nearly a weak. The scar on her back a cruel reminder of how truly horrifying a person could be. And a reminder to never trust a man, or give your heart to one.

When she was well enough to move Rain ran from that home. Trying to get her mother to come with her but the well beaten woman refused and stayed behind. No doubt to catch the brunt of her father’s wrath when he found out she was missing. From there Rain traveled the world slipping through society as easily as anyone. Rain found that she had a talent for blending into any social situation. Even finding it easy to convince even those of high society that she belonged there. Using her tiger half to get a higher status in their world.

As she traveled Rain learned all sorts of things from different areas of life. From languages, art, history, reading, writing, math, all one would need to be from a high class way of life. But she also learned the things she needed to survive in other ways of life. The art of making the deal, scamming, conning, and fighting in a style that fit her smaller frame. Finding she became a rather affective fighter and even more importantly a predator. She would never be the victim again with the skills she had now. And she would have what she wanted, and no one would stop her or make her cry ever again.

Returning to England she came with a wealth she had earned over her travels. A title added to her name, of course of her own making and being bought. But when you had the money and the attitude to back up your title. Than there weren't many that questioned it. There were those that looked at it with some distance since she was an unmarried woman and business owner. But in the end Rain seemed to have gather to much backing to be taken down a notch just yet.

She came in and built a show house, during the days it puts on plays and well written concerts for those that can afford it. But during the night the windows are blocked and all that can be seen are the vibrant colors that come from the building. And at night the show house becomes a well-known but discreetly spoken about Burlesque. Those of standing may still attended through a secret tunnel and enjoy from the shadow boxes on the second level. After all even those with standing wish to part take in a bit of the forbidden. She also bought out and built a bar and inn down in mid-town. Prey was allowed in and it was mostly run by prey. After all who would miss out on the profit there, not to mention it allowed her mingle with a whole other crowd. Which she loved, in the end Rain was a woman that embraced those that she chose not those that could afford her attention. The last purchase as of late was a warehouse near the docks. It remains unmarked and seemingly empty. But it is rumored to harbor a notorious fight club that meets there at night. But who believes the rumors that fly around the town anyway. Rain always says she puts very little merit into them and believes what she sees. With that vibrant and alluring smile on her face of course.

You walk up the stone steps to the main entrance of Star lights Dream. The first to stone floors hold the various rooms that the performers stay in, the kitchen, hidden back rooms where anything happens, and storage of some sort. The next area is the is the amazing glass structure, the glass actually stained to make a mosaic of colors when light shines through it. The main part is a large area where the stage, bar, seating, backstage,Rain's office, A VIP section that seems well shaded from public few, and a few extra side rooms of various use. The top to Floor and roof area is Rain's condo living area. On the roof is another amazing glassed masterpiece. All the detail would explain why it took so long to build this beautiful building.

The top floor has a walkway and railing around it that Rain can be seen overlooking the city from. No one but Rain has the key to get up to their hideaway.

The amazing crafted stone and pillars were not only brought in but put together by the people of Europe. There is a hidden tunnel and entrance/exit set aside that only certain staff know of. So that those of higher society that wish to partake in what is offered here can do so without being seen.

The beautiful glass is stained different colors and has a glow when light shines through it, that only adds to the fantasy feel of the place.

The tables in the middle are not there so an open dance area can be there. The top floor has different rooms with one way glass that prevent one from seeing who is there. But allows those with to see clearly through.

The warehouse with the fighting club in it has nothing but random sitting areas, a bar and a large cage in the middle of the large open area. the cage has a ceiling and four walls with only one exit.

The color fading away as it spreads along the edges of her skin giving her a soft glow that never seems to fade from her skin.

Personality :
At first Serenity may come off a bit stand offish or snobby. But that couldn't be the farthest from the truth. She simply and truly a proper lady, one with her beliefs and virtues intact. The kid of woman that believes in true romance, and that men should be gentlemen. Though with being that proper lady there is so much more to her. She can be soft spoken when the time calls for it. But she has the strength of her fathers conviction and her mothers faith backing her up. And with it she has found her way to her station and a way for her voice to be heard.

She is the type of woman to stop and smell the roses. But admire the perfect balance of a well crafted blade. Music brings her body to life, and history inspires her mind to search for the answers. A woman of passion and romance, born into the perfect time for her. A aura of calm and elegance seems to always surround her. But you can tell by the way she stand and holds herself that there is a great strength hidden away in such a delicate form.
Brief Biography :
Serenity was born to a working class man, who fell in love and married the asian woman that worked for his family. He had been disowned by his father for doing so. But the then young man could care less. Tommy was a man that would make his own way in life. He started off as a humble man working for a jewelry store. But he studied hard and became a craftsmen and eventually owning his own shop. The jewelry he made was coffined by even the highest of nobles. Despite his standing no one could deny his talent with the materiel he worked in. They had a son who was a stag like her father, and soon a their baby girl. Name Serenity for the feeling she seemed to bring to the house. A young beautiful and rare butterfly type. Her father sought to hide her away from the world and protect her from those that would want to simply use her as a status symbol.

But after some time one couldn't help but notice her. It was then the offers for marriage started to flow in. But her father denied every one of them. Her mothering not sure if it was right but fallowed her husband’s lead. As she knew if it weren't for his boldness she would have never found love. Her brother a young well educated man looked out for his younger sister. And she grew to be a lovely young woman, with a great deal of promise. Taught to use her mind and be herself, and to never simply settle because it is what society says you should do. That she should fallow her heart and find what makes her happy. Her family move into the innermost circle of homes near the Monarch’s Palace because of Serenity's birth. Her father still having his shop, though now it had a bit more prestige behind it.

Gaining her education Serenity finally joined the noble and well known line of Historians. Her family proud of what she has accomplished, she finally moved from her lovely family home to the Palace itself. Now 20 the pressure is on to find a husband. But her father still insists that she fallow her heart. And that is what she will do. Until than Serenity enjoys her job and learning about life as she lives it. Knowing that her path in life and the man that would claim her heart would come when it is meant to.

Her toes are webbed for easy manuring within the water. Her internal body structure seeming build to function perfectly on land or in water. Personality : Lola is at heart a big kid, she is a bundle of energy and loves to live life. She knows her place in it and instead of fighting it she embraces it. So she is a whore, tell her that is a bad thing while she is laying with your husbands. And they are buying her such lovely and priceless gifts. She knows there will never be a chance for her to be something big in life. So instead she tries to get something big from life.

Lola isn't shy in the least, bold, brash, and not one to take shit when she doesn't have too. She is passion, she is fire, she is that touch of wild girl all wrapped up in a lovely lady like package. The only time Lola seems to be anything less than vibrant is when she thinks of family and the fact that she never had one and probably will never have one. And when the rains come in really heavy trapping her inside and slowing down the traffic of people that come through. Some may think it wrong but the fact that the men and even a few woman come to her because they want and crave her makes her feel wanted. And sometimes a girl just wants to feel wanted.

Brief Biography :
Lola was the first born to a high class family. Which would have been welcomed by most. Wrongly deemed as pray by the Historian that appeared at her birth. Stating that she was the first prey born to that family and there for label wrong, tainted, and disgraceful to them. Why this happened she wouldn't know, because she was given away before she even had a chance to know where she came from. They said the child died at birth and gave the small bundle of energy to an elderly servant that had served many years with them. Setting the old woman up with a small meager cottage and the means to care for the child. And for 7 years they did just fine. She may not have had a whole family or the best things in life. But the little girl than called Analiese never thought anything wrong of it. She had her Nana and unlimited time to play in the sun which was all she needed. That and maybe a good bed time story and a yummy sweet treat.

It wasn't till she was 7 when the old woman finally past that her world changed. For several days the little girl just kept trying to care for the woman not understanding what happened. But soon the smell of the dead woman drew people to them. Panic kicked in when there was banging on the door and she could smell the predators on the other side. So she ran away for the day, not realizing that it was members of the family she really belonged to coming to move the small girl to a new home and take care of the mess that was present. After a day of hiding in the woods she returned to the house, not finding her Nana she cried for hours feeling all alone for the first time in her life. Not knowing what to do she gather a bag full of things from her home and ran before anyone could come and take her like they had her Nana. She lived on the streets from then on, only returning once to the small house to see it being torn down. The last of her childhood destroyed in on quick shot.

From there Analiese became a street kid doing her best to survive on the scraps she could steal. For a short while she found refuge with a small collection of performers. The street people of the city, well at least some of them. They would perform for anyone that would watch every night a new show. She became the girl that could fly! Well sort of as she was more hanging from ropes and swinging from what she hoped was secure lines. Acrobatics and stunts most wouldn't even think of doing. But to her it was all fun and games with a warm meal and sometimes even a bed at the end of the night. But as all good things do it ended, the group broken up by police due to not being able to pay for the space they used. So at ten years old Ana found herself homeless again.

It wasn't till she stole from the window that belonged to a local brothel owner. The woman sent one of the men that work at her house out to chase after the girl. Bring back a wiggling, struggling, and biting little monkey. The shy girl froze as a sweet tart was waved in front of her...bribery goes a long way with a hungry 10 year old. From there they took in the small girl and she became a little worker. Nothing sexual of course at such a young age, just running errands and cleaning that sort of thing. But she still grew up learning about the business, seeing the truth good or bad. She eventually actually started talking and took the name Lola after she heard a song that she loved about woman named Lola. As the owner told her she could become anyone she wanted to be. So Ana chose to become Lola and leave behind the pain and broken dreams, get past the storms and find her new life.

Years past and Lola grew to learn and understand this new way of life. You got what you wanted, all you had to do was work for it. Or find the right john and he would give you everything your little heart wanted. When she was 14 things did get a bit better. As her Gideon and yes she says her Gideon showed up. When he arrived it was scared and confused boy that had just lost everything he ever knew. Lola knew what it was like to lose what you had and loved. So she took him under her wing...or by the tail. And showed him what it was like to live where they did. And how to get along, or get the best tarts before anyone else does.

Years past as they grew and learned together, even eventually working as Rent boy and girl for the Mizz Lizzy. Finding that there was a form of satisfaction and gratification to what they did. Having people want them and buy them or something special for them. They both grew to enjoy their lives and found their way in it. And this is where she is today, still best friends with Gideon and still a rather lovely lady of the night.

Personality : Kyle Ella Young is not known for his sympathy, fondness for logic, nor his “humanity”.  In fact quite often he is known for the absence of those qualities. Kyle is a dark and quite honestly evil individual.  He feels no remorse for his actions and doesn’t feel the need to ask permission for the actions he intends in the future.  He has neither pity nor mercy; he takes what he wants when he wants it.  He has no problem attacking other predators, politically, verbally, even physically; and he especially loves snatching prey from the grasp of predators that think themselves entitled.  He walks the halls of the Monarch’s court with disdain and contempt; He scoffs at the softness of the court and though not disloyal, would like a restructuring of power and to go crush those that oppose him and his country.  Kyle is always armed and always ready for a fight, especially in traditionally peaceful areas/pursuits.

Brief Biography :He is the second son of the Young family patriarch. The Young clan had established dominance of the highland clans of Scotland at the beginning of the Animalia Deformations. Since then nearly two hundred years of the Young clan at the top of the clans has passed. The Young clan swore allegiance the Monarch at nearly the beginning of their reign, but, in Scotland they enforce the old system of law. Meaning that Kyle’s older brother, the first born, inherited everything.  Kyle, the second born, gets nothing but his title and family name. Since he was a little boy in the cold highlands of Scotland he has been told by his father that birds are useless, second sons are useless and all the more he is useless, as such he acted out from a very early age.  Kyle had no interest in proving his father wrong. He had only an interest in causing him as much pain and humiliation as he could.  And so he did. His brother had mysterious accidents, his father fell from “secure” saddles, local prey intended for more important members of the clan would go missing, sometimes turn up dead.  Eventually his mother put the pieces together, and convinced Kyle’s father to send him away to the local military academy. 

He was sent to the military academy to sort him out before he could embarrass his family name. At the   Academy he excelled in his courses and graduated early at the top of his class. His particular enjoyment was to beat the spoiled rich at their own games. He carved a swath through the school making a lot if enemies. The world became kill or be killed, and his tactics grew increasing savage to reflect this philosophy.  He has trained with the military for nearly two decades, and his cruelty gave him a meteoric rise and placed him firmly in command a special operations task force, after he graduated.  Kyle served in a number of conflicts on a number of different battlefields. North and South America were huge targets when he was in the academy.  It is a great place to teach combat against relatively untrained and non-unified opponents. Though once he graduated, he spent a good deal of time trying to establish Monarchy rule in Russia and China.  The navy is sorely lacking, and those territories will be key once the monarchy turns its sights on Japan

As time moved on he has begun to see that there is a huge battlefield in politics played out in the court. Intrigued by this new world Kyle has studied this new form of combat and found that it is something he rather enjoys. And what with duals, hunts, insurrections, and even the odd rebellion, he could have both politics and physical combats together.  Kyle is new to politics but not to fighting and should be watched carefully

Personality : Aiden grew up very fast. As such he has a wealth of knowledge much beyond his years.  He is prey but he doesn’t think of himself as weak nor submissive.  He grew up in a lawless society fending for himself. He learned early to show no fear and that has extended to life, he doesn’t fear conflict.  He has no qualms that he will lose on occasion but he will stand there and fight until he is beaten.  He has a nasty sarcastic streak and without fear he makes fun of everyone especially the wealthy and important, relying on the costume and his station to avoid consequences.

Brief Biography :Aiden’s father was a prisoner, a murderer and a member of the fallen.  His mother was a prostitute doing whatever she could to make a buck.  Aiden’s father was a repeat customer and noticing she was pregnant stayed to raise the baby.  But in a rival village someone recognized the member of the fallen.  So the rival village attacked Aiden’s parents not very long after his birth.  Aiden’s mother was killed in the first wave and his father ran into the woods taking the baby with him.  He covered the baby’s mouth and carved a cross under his left eye.  The baby’s cries drawing the attackers to his location but Aiden’s father gave the baby to a kindly old water vole mother along with a note and his only remaining piece of fallen technology, a folding titanium knife. 

Aiden grew up with the vole family stealing and thieving for a living.  If it wasn’t nailed down it was fair game.  They taught him everything he knew from an early age, by the time he was ten he could pick pocket the best of them without a trace.  He read the note as soon as he was ready and has carried the knife ever since.  He found the rival village and made it his goal to steal everything he could.  Eventually he caught the eye of a member of the resistance as the recognized his father’s scar on his cheek.  After making the introductions Aiden joined the Fallen when he was sixteen.  Now just three years later he has crossed the water to Europa, made contact with the local Fallen and been given an assignment; Infiltrate the court of the Monarch.  Since then Aiden has worked his way across Europe to the capital and learned as much about Troupes as he could along the way. He intends to make a grand appearance as he arrives at the Capital in a few days time….

Anything Else? : Yeah deformations….this should really be its own section.  Aiden has barbs just above his elbows and knees that flex with his muscle structure, like a cat’s claws.  These barbs are capable of delivering a poison that while not fatal in most instances will render most anyone in excruciating pain for several days accompanied by massive swelling and ugly red rash.  His hands and toes are slightly webbed, about to his first knuckle.

Personality : Lucas for the most part is quiet and reserved, definitely leaning towards brooding. His face tends towards either stoic or scowling. He is a man that knows what he wants, and most assuredly will do anything he needs to get it. He can and will kill if it is called for, but he is not one that revels in the act. Though he at most times can be slow to true anger, when it comes on he is harsh and ruthless.

That is not to say that he doesn't have a good side. Lucas has a kind heart, and can be a fierce protector of those he deems worthy. When he does smile, though it can be rare, his face lights up, his eyes shine, and his laugh is infectious. He is not adverse to the concept of love, he just feels that he is not the man that love will find.

Brief Biography : Born into a well-to-do Predator family, Lucas was raised in the typical fashion. Yet unlike most Predators, his family tended to treat their Prey quite well. Yes, he was surrounded by servants, but they were paid. As a young boy he wandered his fathers lands with a few of his best friends, sons of servants. Upon his wanderings, on occasion an 'artifact' would be found, which he and his mates would ogle over, then he would turn it over to his parents, and forget. Nifty odds and ends, but they couldn't compare to swimming in the river, or climbing the trees, or racing the fields. As he grew to a young man, he became well loved and respected.

Yet one day, Lucas would return from cave carousing to find his parents dead, and their home ransacked. Unknown to him, his father had kept the 'devices' he had occasionally found, and the Historians got wind. Luckily he had been away when they decided to visit and take what he had found. Yet now his family was dead, and obviously, he was a wanted man. So Lucas ran...

… and found a new world, the underground world of the Fallen. There, he found a place he could learn, a place he could plot, a place where he could not only find and study those things that got his parents killed, he could plot the demise of those that did the deed. Lucas was smart, and fierce, and willing. Lucas soon became the leader of the Fallen.

First and foremost : That is a picture of High Jackman from Van Hellsing. Congratulations, you earned +million in my book. I’ll just be in my corner making keening noises, brb.

I find it amusing that he shares a species with my Addlai’s Father, considering a sub-plot that I was preparing to run in the last go of this game. I might choose to pick that up again, so I’ll need to contact you about that little diddy in the future. Maybe. Idk if I’m going to do it again, considering a key character I need for it couldn’t reprise his role this time. I am saddened.

I think Lucas is absolutely amazing to be the Fallen Leader. I’m secretly thrilled that he is a Predator as opposed to a Prey creature, because this adds a new element to the character that was never present before. The addition that his parents were hoarding the technology he found as a youth, ultimately leading to their death and his fall into the world of his own creation. . I love it. Absolutely love it.

Also just updated the totals page on the front. I am pretty certain I haven't missed anyone. Right now, we do have scales tipping in the favour of the men. So, when you run it like that, I think our gender ratios are okay, given our players sexualities. I think I missed someone in all of that. I probably did. I'm about 90% certain my ratio is off by one person in the female category. . Eugh, oh well. I got that much. Huzzah for me.

If you suffer that sort of thing often, you'll eventually get deluged with suggestions for extensions like Lazarus or the sort to save whatevs you're working on in a browser, but I'm gonna go ahead and do em one further: just put whatever you're working on in a text editor. Copy/paste is only a little extra effort, and much future tragedy will it avert. Looking forward to seeing your character!

Species : Common Barn Owl- Tyto alba 
Predator / Prey / Somewhere Between?: Predator Upper Class/Between Denizen
Occupation : Doctor/Gynocologist/Midwife.
Sexuality : Heterosexual
Height / Weight: 5'7" ft. 164lbs.
Body Type : Soft and supple with a pear shaped figure- A classic Botticellian, as typical of her class and hereditary of her family line's women.
Hair : Hair falls mid-to-long in length variably, but is always the same in coloring; dappled auburn/brown overcoat with a downy white/off white/strawberry blonde under layer. Thicker, feathery strands sprout here and there throughout the year and molt, only to reappear elsewhere from her scalp.
Eyes : Irises that blend between blue and gold-yellow, although her pupils widen eerily from dusk hours until dawn.

Distinguishing Features : Several thin crescent shaped scars(very old and faded), mar her fingers. They are souvenirs from her earlier days whilst learning and honing her trade. No tattoos, although she's considered them. Around either eye the pale pigment of her skin darkens and ruddies considerably, mimicking the deep set eyes of the species she took after. Her lashes and brow also intermix with feathers, like her hair. There are also pronounced spot-like freckles in choice places(all over her body really) that shift and sharpen depending on the season. The tips of her ears come to elfish tips that end in feathery points that tend to peak out through her hair, and are able to move independently, and often without conscious thought. Her nails on both her fingers and toes naturally shape to points and darken from mid length to tip like talons; she remedies this daily by careful grooming, so as not to harm her patients. The shape of her face is round and sweet, and is off set by a nose with proud, birdish point. All this, combined with her striking and LARGE, WIDE eyes are a dead give away to predator and prey alike of her species.

Personality : Warm. An odd word for a predator, save the temperature of their blood(in the case of mammals anywho). But Mirabelle is just that, she's warm. She's kind. She's the epitome of an upper class citizen who works to keep her status. Not only through the money she makes, and the presence she creates, but through the depth of her reach. Ask a Prey of this woman, and they'll know her like the sun across the sky. While her true calling is doctoring, and her specialty gynecology, Mirabelle also happily dabbles in philanthropy. She cares for her needs first, of course, but what other funds she hasn't squirrelled away, she appropriates to programs that better the lives of those less fortunate, and those without. Although she's a kind heart, one must not underestimate Mirabelle and her inner fortitude, nor her vicious cunning. She is first and foremost a predator, avian or no, her talons have been known to flex just as viciously as a great king beast. Threaten a cause or a creature she claims as her own, and she'll strike.

Mirabelle was reared amidst an old, proud family who's generations boast more predatory avian genetics than most others. While they were never Historians or Monarch level, their presence was considered everything but. Having chosen, like her grandparents and parents before her, to forego the social climb and the gilded cage that comes with it, Mirabelle for now focuses on what makes her happy, what intrigues her, and what she feels is right. Some might call it the folly of those who think too highly of themselves, but the Sova family have proved there ability to protect their predatory status time and time again.

Witty, reclusive by nature, social by choice, aloof, an unintentional charmer, and a free, fierce spirit to her core, one wouldn't think the lady would hide such a dark fixation with the Fallen and their purpose. It is a secret shared with no one, save her dead grandfather, from whom she'd picked up the dangerous hobby in the first place; something the ancients from the time before called a 'Game Boy Color'.

Brief Biography : Mirabelle comes from family of good stock who've long upheld to doctoring and medicinal practices. She currently owns a three story building where practices take up the first and second floor, with the third acting as a spacious, loft-style penthouse with a rooftop pavilion. Her name, Sova, is in reverence to the familie's forefather whom shared a species with Mirabelle and her father; not all barn owls mind, but owls. The family has had a few hawks, even a dog or two, but throughout most of their tree, owls have gathered in it.

Character On’s :  While Mirabelle makes it a point to remain out of the courtier circles, she is most definitely a warm blooded creature with hormones like the rest of the world. A few of the things Mirabelle admires, and is attracted to more than anything, are men who speak with conviction, and men with fortitude to back up their convictions by admirable means. Men of great brawn, funnily enough, she holds a secret desire for. Someone to pick her up and throw her over their shoulder, for lack of a better description. On occasion she's been known to eye the Prey for this, but only rarely does she ever indulge. More often than not, Mirabelle looks, but never touches. Hot spots on her person include her ears, her breasts, and oddly enough the lines where her abdomen meet her hips. As stated before, Mirabelle is a giver, and this includes her nighttime activities. This is strictly private knowledge between the very few who have ever enjoyed her company(meaning, it's not public knowledge.). Most of the public believe Mirabelle to be an asexual workaholic with the misfortune of being attractive on several levels.

Non-sexual On's include people who speak with conviction, and people with the fortitude to back up their convictions. Strong, proud people who have built their comforts, not simply inherited them(in other words, Mirabelle secretly cannot STAND the privileged elite who've never known the meaning of a sweat bead), people who are well spoken, this even extends to those who speak blunt and plainly, because it isn't the flourish of the words she hears so much as the emotion and the context behind them.

Are you willing to allow your character to participate in Non-Consensual Activity? : Just as I mentioned with my players, I'm game for just about anything, save what are dislikes and nevers in my O/O's. I've played a wide range of adult and non adult themes, all of which have ranged from the most vanilla to the scariest piece of chili-infused chocolate you've ever laid eyes on!
Are you willing to allow your character to have sexual interaction with those outside of their preferred sexuality? : As previously stated, Mirabelle is primarily hetero, but given her warm, open nature and rare indulgences, it isn't impossible she'd be seduced by someone other than what she's attracted to normally. I myself am not opposed to a character(or player), who challenges Mirabelle's norms.
Anything Else? : Mirabelle has an intense weakness for children, people in need, men with all their hair in the right places, and hard cider.
