This subboard's edit function is disabled

It's actually been disabled for quite a long time now, but it's worth a sticky thread as Staff is often asked about it.

Members cannot edit posts here in our Politics, Religion, and Other Controversies subboard. There was some poor debate form going on that involved rampant abuse of the edit function.

Staff isn't intending to restore the ability to edit in this subboard any time in the near future. As such, this sticky is to let members know to be very mindful before posting in this section, as you will be unable to edit your own posts.

Please note that Staff will not edit posts for you in this subboard beyond a few rare exceptions (such as a major coding error or image issue)--so members should use their best judgement before posting.
