Justice League: Plan #234 [Ex]

The unthinkable has happened.  The Justice League has fallen, killed by a foe they could not fully defeat.  To defeat their foe, they made the ultimate sacrifice which destroyed them both and left a world without heroes.  But all was not lost.
As was his way, Batman had a contingency plan set into place.  Upon their defeat, contingency plan #234 was activated.  In the Watch Tower, the League's space headquarters, the computer activated a dimensional transport pulse.  This pulse reached out into every dimension seeking replacements for the fallen heroes.  From each dimension it could find, they were taken.  These versions of the heroes have been brought into this world where together they must put aside their separate existences and become the heroes that the world will need.  But all plans are not perfect and something stirs in the darkness.


What I am looking for in this game is various versions of the heroes below.  For example:  the Batman archetype could be anything from a version of Harley Quinn who fights crime in a cyberpunk Gotham to a vampiric Batman to a she-male Batman.  Think of any Elseworld story ever.  The following heroes are suggestions and any viable member of the League is a possibility.

Here's what I've got. Let me know if it passes muster; it's pretty well a rip-off of a rip-off. The idea is more of a Superman that focused purely on the Super, and discarded the Man almost entirely. He knows he's the Other, and he's tried to be otherwise. And because he's not one of them, he doesn't feel particularly inclined to follow their rules. He's a Superman Lex Luthor could understand - he uses his powers to the fullest and as he chooses, and he doesn't rule the world because he's so powerful he considers ruling a bunch of hairless apes beneath him.

Description: Noble is a very tall, very muscle male. His skin is fair, and without blemishes or scars. His eyes are a very pale blue, while his hair is a fair blond shade. The male's hair is short enough for what is usually described as business casual. His mass and size are sufficient that he cannot pass himself off as a human being, and he would not wish to. Noble stands 6'10" tall, but his incredibly dense physiology results in a weight of 615 lbs.

His costume is a full body suit, in red, that covers all but his hair, face, and ears. The suit has a pair of metallic red pauldrons to which a cape is attached, and small compartments contain a handful of useful devices.

Bio: Nobiliar of House Kell is one of the Kherubim, a race of aliens divided into genetic heterogenous castes. The Lord caste was one of the most physically and politically puissant castes, possessed of inborn powers that excelled those of the others. Nobiliar's forebears used these powers to ensconce themselves within the government of the Kheran people, ensuring that their descendents would by default receive positions of power and influence. The Kherans were also a fervently expansionist people, engaging in warfare to keep their society focused outward in order to stave off decline and decadence. For the most part, the various castes of Kherans were easily able to defeat and subjugate those they faced.

Upon one planet, the Kherans encountered a race that would be called Daemonites, who possessed the ability to possess the bodies of other species and control them. The might of the Kherans were turned against them, and for once, the mighty Kherans faced an enemy that was not only able to pose a significant challenge, but sent them reeling back in defeat. The Daemonites forged themselves into a super-power with the knowledge they stole.

The war raged across worlds, and entire star systems were lost to it. Nobiliar fought in it. For decades, then centuries, and millenia. He was the second to Lord Majestros, who would eventually become the supreme commander of all Kheran forces in the Milky Way. The fate of the war culminated in a grand battle on Earth, and Lord Majestros made the supreme sacrifice to eliminate the Daemonite High Command. His dying order was that Nobiliar protect Earth as though it were his own home, and the younger Kheran complied.

Even devoid of intergalactic war, Nobiliar found Earth had problems all of its own. Its population held metahumans, both virtuous and malignant, and the planet itself endangered the life that grew upon it. Nobiliar faced criminals who sought to take wealth not their own as often as he put out fires or quelled floods. The other metahumans who used their powers to protect their world were hesitant to trust him, because he was a stranger from the stars whose war had wrought terrible destruction upon the Earth, and because instead of turning the metahuman offenders he captured over to the police, Nobiliar either forcibly depowered them employing Kheran science or imprisoned them in an extra-dimensional prison. Beyond that large issue of contention, another reason for the lack of trust was because he simply didn't have a life they could relate to.

Nobiliar was constantly active as a super-hero. Although he possessed a generally secret base of operations below the south pole, it was not a home or place of refuge for him. He did not have an identity where he pretended to be a normal human. And when they did, initially, extend and invitation for him to join their compact, Nobiliar declined. It was only until the galactic conqueror Deimos sought to make Earth his own and attacked with a force of demonic soldiers that Nobiliar took his place alongside Earth's native defenders.

Powers: Super-Strength, Super-Durability (includes immunity to virtually all diseases, survive in a vaccuum, etc.), Super-Speed, Flight, Super-Senses, Energy Beams (fired from the eyes)
Weakness: His mind is lacks any special protection.

I would go into a bit more detail of the super durability since it is easily the most broken (thus is Superman).  For example, can he be shot?  Can he take a really good beating but might have trouble with someone else with equivalant super strength (like say Superman vs. Doomsday)?  Would magic hurt him (like Superman vs. Darkseid)?

Description "Punk-Rock Riddler" are the words that immediately come to mind. With the use of holographic technology it appears that race, gender, height, and weight change moment to moment. The most common feature is that when in costume his face is blurred into a green feild with a purple question mark. "His" every action seems covered in a layer of absurdity and parody when in costume, which is usually a question-mark themed parody of a religious or authority figure. When out of costume he appears to be tall, lanky, mostly caucasian, almost shaved hair, and rather plain looking. Perfect for blending into crowd, he seems utterly unremarkable.

Bio Born on a world where the moral compass nearly everyone was reversed, this world's Riddler was born Edward Nashton. His loving father tried to instill good values into his son and helped him develop his mental gifts instead of abusing young Eddie horribly. Eventually discovered to have a mutation in his brain chemistry by Owlman, this world's equivalent to Batman, Edward would be placed on "Anti-Psychotic" medication to cancel out his intellegence.

And that was the end of that for a while. Working as a check-out counter boy at Compu-Barn, he'd heard about the raids by the heroic Alexander Luthor- but didn't realize how they could affect him until he couldn't get access to his "medication" anymore. By the time he could get his pills again, he realized the ploy by Owlman and became a dedicated freedom fighter in his world.

Unfortunately, it seems the moral compass of the world itself was such that evil tended to win and Edward Nashton was eventually captured. Whisked away to a secret prison of the Crime Syndicate of Amerika, Edward Nashton was literally moments away from his execution when the transport pulse reached him. Grateful for the second chance at life, "The Enigma" wishes to pay back his benefactor with making a better world.

Powers "The Enigma" seems to be, quite simply, the smartest person alive. An IQ estimated to be somewhere in the 500's, he's a detective and scientist second to none. He seems able to speak, read, write, and understand every language he comes across. As a side effect of such a mind, he also has a very high tolerance against telepathic and mind control abilities. Thanks to training he's a fair-to-middling hand-to-hand combatant to boot.

Weakness A very normal human being otherwise, he's just as delicate as a bystander and can be easily hurt or killed without back up or prep time.

He could be shot by some sort of hyper-future gun that shot time bullets or something outlandish, but short of super-science I guess it'd take a nuke to really pose a threat to him in terms of man-made weaponry. He can take a lot of punishment and magic could hurt him, but he's not especially vulnerable to it one way or another. It'd be like regular strength - not every practitioner of the mystic arts'd be a threat to him. You'd need someone like Dr. Fate or a real big name magician to have the magic be a threat.

Against antagonists like Darkseid or Doomsday, he might be in as much trouble as Superman, I guess. With Doomsday it'd be a snap to just toss him to the moon and leave him there until some solution could be found. Against Darkseid things would probably play out in a similar way as Superman vs. Darkseid, except the character I'd play wouldn't have those long, moralizing beatdowns before Darkseid would wipe away some blood and make a snappy comeback before handing Superman his behind back to him.

OM-A in Aquaman form has his classical appearance. Blonde hair, green eyes. Golden fish scale shirt with green spandex pants. He doesn't spend much time in this form these days.

When his cyborg shell manifests, the Atlantean becomes encased in a coral textured suit of blue armor. His salt scarred face is replaced by a glowing red eye, a cyborg visage that never blinks or waivers.

Bio
In his world, Aquaman was the first victim of Brainiac's OMAC nanovirus. However, the virus hadn't been meant for Atlanteans and the resulting cyborg was uncontrollable by Brainiac or the host body.

Under the influence of the rogue virus Aquaman became a cyborg bent on annihilating all crime in the oceans. To this end OMAC-Aquaman (Or simply OM-A) had his scientists modify the nanovirus inside himself to infect and enhance the sea creatures under his control.

OM-A soon came to rule the world's water ways with absolute power and authority. Aquaman, still aware within his cyborg shell, was gradually warped by OM-A's well intentioned actions. Even when the virus was dormant Aquaman acted mostly in line with OMAs ideals.

The teleport pulse caught OM-A just as he was about to execute the crew of a whaling ship. The pulse corrupted his nanomachines and now OM-A finds himself lacking a certain clarity of purpose, and a great deal of his former powers.

Powers
-Many of the OMACs higher functions are inoperative due to the teleport pulse.
-OM-A, in cyborg or Aquaman form, retains Aquaman's superhuman strength and stamina, along with his abilities to control sea animals and breath underwater.
-When the OM-A cyborg shell has activated around Aquaman he gains the ability to infect other sea creatures with a modified OMAC virus that enhances their strength and viciousness.

Weakness:
Aquaman must remain still at the beginning of a battle while his OMAC shell manifests and he runs his opponents through an onboard database. Said database is mostly useless as it still contains data for metahumans in his home world.

Powers: He believes that he has some advanced form of illusion casting however when he uses his powers what really happens is that he pulls matter from another dimension to create the things he imagines.Which means his creations have mass and density and whatnot. However Gabriel can only control matter from said dimension he can not alter things from any others. His creations do not need food, sleep, or any other kinds of substances.
Bit of history: Gabriel has one of those generic tragic mutant childhoods complete with the murder of his mother by his own father. Growing up on the street he learned a great deal about people as well as other things. One day a man found him and invited to a school for children with gifts such as his. He accepted the offer thinking anything was better than the streets. While there he met another boy named Xander and they became great friends. Gabriel always tried to look out for Xander and one day they ran away together because of some things that didn't sit well with them.  They stayed together for  several years having many adventures however they did split going their separate ways. Gabriel went off to find himself by taking a spiritual journey studying religions and walks of life that focused on meditation in hopes it would help strengthen his power use. He has been back in the states for a few years now where he owns a bar called The Rough and Tumble in New York.

Bio
Jayson was a computer programmer on his home Earth, this earth had learned to harness the speed force, not for movement, but for information transfer. This new form of internet allowed massive amounts of information to be transferred in milliseconds. Jayson was trying to encode some files for his employer, Lexcorp, when the router went offline. He started trying to jumpstart the router, and was jolted by the pure power of the speed force, converting his body into a red, formless energy. His new found form had many advantages and disadvantages that he quickly learned to control. He carries a "flash" drive around his neck, allowing him to access his powers at will.

Powers
Being a living incarnation of the speed force, Jayson has super speed, can become intangible, can travel through ethernet connections, and can deliver super speed flurries of punches.

Weakness
On his home world, he had access to all the information available on the internet, making him a certifiable genius as long as a computer was within reach. While at his new home though, he is just a 20 something computer geek, whose arrogance gets the better of him at times. Super speed has made him reckless and short witted. Thinking only of what he could be doing, and not what he should be doing at the moment, he seems a little aloof. With his powers being of an unknown origin, his secret weaknesses are EMP bursts, and anything made of rubber, seeing as it doesn't conduct his electric-like powers.

Sorry Gabriel but he is right.  Think of a character that would have the ring.  Really, just look at any of the Elseworld storylines from DC to get an idea.  In the comics there has been several Lantern versions.  One of them was a world where Bruce Wayne had recieved the ring instead of Hal Jordan, I believe another had a Sinestro who had never gone bad, another world might have a woman Green Lantern, another might have an ape Green Lantern and so on and so forth.

so far we have a Superman who is more alien then human, a Flash consumed by the Speed Force, a cyborg Aquaman (awesome idea by the way) and a Riddler who was one of few heroes on a world run by super villians (who are super heroes in this world).  Look at a few of those for inspiration.

Bio:  Once upon a time, Queen Industries was a company struggling to get off the ground, until Olivia enhanced herself with experimental technology and took on the persona of the Green Arrow to do some corporate raiding.  Ten years, scores of technologies, and dozens of failed rivals later, Queen Industries is on top, and Green Arrow remains as one of the most wanted criminals worldwide.  But Olivia is good at nothing if not hiding her tracks and separating her extracurricular lifestyle from her everyday world.
Powers:  Much like her counterpart she was summoned to replace, Olivia has no superpowers to speak of.  She has, however, enhanced her perception, reflexes and accuracy with extremely experimental bioware developed by Queen Industries.  Years of corporate espionage and thievery have given her uncanny skill with security systems, explosives and computers.  Her powerbow is an advanced bow that allows her to shoot a variety of arrows both normal and trick, with am inbuilt AI component that automatically corrects for wind, distance, visibility, motion and a dozen other factors that might throw off a shot.  This combined with her illegal bioware makes her one of the deadliest archers on the planet.
Weakness: A member of the no-powers club, fragile compared to the rest.

Biography: It began as slight differences of philosophy in ancient texts. Plato was slightly more aggressive, Shakespeare's plays ended more violently, and many southerners were executed for treason following the United States Civil War, including Robert E Lee. The United States entered the World War before being interfered with, and soundly dominated its enemies, retaining control over them clear into the 1980s. It was then that Superman arrived on the scene, preaching his ways of peace and justice, including the dismantling of the totalitarian American regime. He was scorned by the entire world, and a massive war against him began. LexCorp made itself known during this period for its significant weapons contributions, but even they were not enough to stop the Superman. He was winning, but at the rate the war was going, he would have to wipe out most of human civilization to achieve peace.

It was then that Kara Zor-El arrived, many years later than her cousin. Kal-El was relieved; he would finally have an ally, and perhaps their combined talents could put down the incredibly violent governments of this planet. However, unfortunately for Kal-El, Kara saw an opportunity. She allied secretly with Lex Luthor, plotting to share world power with him, once their plan was complete. The price, of course, was making her immune to the very weapons she was vulnerable to. Armed with LexCorp's anti-Superman weaponry, Kara easily put down the unsuspecting Kal-El, murdering him in cold blood, ending the war with little more than a death rattle from that magnificent man.

Kara Zor-El took her place as the undisputed ruler of the new Terran Empire, personally quashing any and all rebellious movements, leaving no room for doubt that she was superior, and for humanity at least, untouchable. Luthor managed the new government, with Kara serving as the muscle and the figurehead. LexCorp immediately began working on starships, the mass of humanity training to spread to the stars, to dominate the galaxy under the name of The Ultimate. It was not to be, however, as Kara was ripped from her universe and dropped into the Prime Universe, leaving Lex with the sole power. Kara raged against this new existence, using whatever means necessary to find a way back before Lex ruined everything.

Powers: Classic powers of Superman
Weakness: Genetic enhancements provided by LexCorp have eliminated Kara's weaknesses to kryptonite, but have also erased her possible enhancements from differently colored suns. She is still entirely vulnerable to magic, and if she was attacked by a kryptonite- or sun-enhanced Kryptonian, she would be at a disadvantage.

Lora Thompson lives on an Earth that is very different from the others, you see on her Earth females over the centuries rose up to become the dominate side of the species. Lora was a rather famous novel writer living one day to the next until the ring chose her that is. The ring choose her five years ago and it completely changed her life, the moment she accepted it she felt a well of responsibility rise up withen her and she knew she must use the power for good. Since then she has become on of the greatest and most renowned of heroins. She and the other ladies of the Women's League of Justace protect the world from any and all that would threaten their world.

Powers
She was chosen to be the bearer of the ring for her sector, giving her all the powers associated with it. Universal translator, power burst, flight, creations and so on. However her ring gives her one unique power the power to absorb energy that has been directed at her which in turns powers her ring as well. It also has no impurity to any colors.

Weakness: Her ring is virtually useless against most magic it cannot seem to find the right plans of which some magic moves through and so on. This is not to say all magic. Mind control, hallucinogens, psychic attacks hender her willpower and has a varying degree of effect.

Description:     

Lunacy’s appearance is not what one would call static,  depending on her mood and the height of her psychosis,  her outward appearance begins to fluctuate.  While in her most “functional” stage.  Lunacy looks like your typical attractive human girl.  She has shortish brown hair that frames her heart shaped face.  The young woman‘s bone structure looks quite delicate.  Her eyes are two large slate grey orbs set above a delicate little nose,  and a generous lips.  She isn’t full figured,  instead she’s waifish with long limbs,  and a tight little butt.  Typical outerwear is tattered jeans, well worn converse all stars,   and various tops. 

As her power begin to take hold changes begin to occur,  her hair color shifts rapidly in shade and style,  and the color of her eyes no longer remains constant.  Style of dress shifts just as wildly,  one minute the young woman could be garbed like the princess in a fairytale,  when seemingly without transition  the young  woman might end up clad like a leather clad dominatrix.  Lunacy can,  if she attempts to do so hold a particular shape by concentrating on it,  though once she reaches this level of madness it is unlikely that she cares what shape she currently wears.

Upon reaching the peak of her madness the young woman’s environment is soon affected by her presence in what could be considered cosmetic but terrifying ways.  Reality itself seems to ripple around her,  light bends in improbably ways,  inanimate objects become animate,  and in extreme cases new life has even been made manifest.  At this point,  the girls appearance becomes even less static then it was before.

Alright…  My name is Catherine Ezra.  What else can I say but that?  My mother and father I guess are your normal parents.  You know,  a weird contradiction of being strict and loving.  They punished me when I was bad,  but not anything like what you are doing to me now,  I think that they were afraid of me though.  I had a couple pets in my day,  dogs, cats…  I don’t really like them though.  They’re so hot to the touch and the way they’re hair smells after a rain tickles my nose and makes my stomach twisty.  My favorite  pet was a snake,  so cool and smooth…  and it never  darted to and fro.  She didn’t bark or hiss at me when I tried to touch them…  they wrapped so nicely around my limbs and caressed my skin.

STOP HURTING ME DAMMIT!

A…alright.  I had a normal life.  I think I had a normal life, mommy and daddy and snakes you see.  I told you how much I liked snakes.  I won’t do that again though,  maybe you don’t like snakes or something?  But I’ll be good like I promised I don’t like those little jolts of flame coursing through my body,  and tearing it’s  way through the synapses of my brain forcing them to come undone with each little sizzle as they go pop, pop, pop!  I hope that I can still do well on the standardized tests when this is over,  I want to be successful you see. 

When I was little I wanted to ballerina.  I think all the girl’s wanted to be ballerinas.  That’s pretty silly…  I mean yes, the dancing is very, very pretty.  Also, I think there’s just a draw  to be looked at.  That’s what calls to each and everyone of us, Pop Idols,  Balererina’s, actresses,  these are the big dreams of almost every child I’ve ever met.   I don’t want to do that anymore…  I don’t really like being looked at as much anymore…  people kind of scare me. 

Think about it, the me I am is not the me they see.  I do not define myself, as much as they define me…  and this… this terrifies me.  I don’t wanta be the construct of someone else’ reality.  I want to be the construct of my own, to define and shape,  twist and mold.  I want to be the me that I am, and not the me that you see.  Perhaps by telling my story I am already doing that,  but,  you yourself is already translating the words differently then I had originally planned, if you care what I’m saying at all. 

I expect you do though, as that warm white heat has not surged through my flesh since the last time.  So I guess I’ll tear myself open and let you look inside my mind.  That’s what your interested in isn’t it? You want to know how it is I do the things that I do.  I really can’t tell you…  it just comes easy to me.  I do, what you do…  but I do it better.

Even the name of this silly little project is limiting your skill.  “The Word?”  If you continue to define things through such primitive and singular ways you’ll never be able to twist the universe like I do.  You don’t even see the strings that tie reality together.  You don’t even understand what you’re trying to harness little man…

So,  we were talking about me weren’t we?  I was probably just spouting gibberish.  People tell me I did that a lot.  Your little needles seemed to stop it though,  at least for a while.  Bet you have to keep increasing the dosage don’t ya?  Gotta keep me compliant and squirmy so you can crack open my head and unlock my secrets.  I have loads of secrets, secrets I don’t even know…  all of them squirming inside me like little worms,  and they’re all so plump and juicy and ready to be plucked away.  At least,  that’s how you see me don’t you?  You don’t have to lie to me,  I’ve already made my decision about you… so now were both locked in a fun little game of shadow puppetry.

Ahhhh….  So me?  I’ve already built a little story about you, so keep your mouth shut please. 

I didn’t really like school…  high school or what have you.  All the kiddies knew there was something wrong with me.  Kids seem to recognize it so much faster then other people.  Perhaps,  its because just how much closer to enlightenment they’re beautiful little minds are in comparison with most adults.  The key’s in the imagination…  and most of you are such stagnant monster…  Still,  many of you have just enough left in you so life doesn’t become completely mechanical. 

Do you have any idea how important words are in school.  A single sentence can destroy a kids life in the blink of an eye.  It’s kind of cute that you’re trying to emulate that,  but my silly little boy you haven’t even begun to crawl. 

So I guess this brings me to the point where you captured me.  I’m not going to go on any further about me.  I got to talk for a bit…  and now,  my mewling toddler.  I think its about time that I’m leaving, that portal should be opening up… right about now.

So this is gonna be a stupid question, then, but then how does she have any powers? Maybe it's just the whole Superman's history being a confusing mish-mash and years of retcons, but without the beneficial effects of the yellow sun, wouldn't Kara be a powerless woman?

Seems easiest. Make her immune to K in all of its rainbow glories and leave it like that. I think it's established that Kryptonians are only affected by K from their dimension, anyway, so it's not like someone could whip out a hunk of green K and wreck Kara (though the temptation to go find the hunk of K that'd force her good is there :D).

I mean, you know, Wonder Woman never had any weaknesses and she was fine even though she was Superman powerful. We can all just roleplay well enough to make sure even those without powers, and Aquaman, can contribute.

Battling against her nemeses, the Queen, and the cold blooded rationale goddess Athena, she let women everywhere know that if Wonder Woman could do it, so could they.

Powers: Immortal and Divine, Diana is a creature of pure magic shaped into a woman. She has the Speed of Hermes (Not flash fast, but close; flight). The Strength of Heracles (Near Strength and toughness Superman). The Skill of Ares (Unparalleled with weapons). The Beauty of Aphrodite (Beauty, and a light dusting of pheromones). Her bracers deflect bullets (as her invulnerability does not effect sharp objects). The Lasso of Truth is the same semi-mind controlling, unbreakable guy. She just uses it a little differently. She also has an invisible Zeppelin, which serves as her base of operations. Inside the Zeppelin she keeps an entire armoury of magical armour and weapons from the gods, which she uses if she knows that only battle will resolve the issue.

Weakness: The traditional girdle, which when removed prevent her from accessing her powers. Unlike the regular WW, she does not have the gift of Athena. Instead she's fairly reckless and relatively weak to mental coercion. During the seventies she gave up her powers, and spent some time in the mystic east and orient as a harem girl and slave, learning a Buddhist no mind technique - where she gives up her will so that no-one can place controls on it. Then, when she returns her will, she will be free to strike.

Description: Billy Batson is a 5"11 boy of 18 years who takes part in regular exercise, his dark hair is often gelled upwards and he tends to dress in a casual manner, t-shirts and jeans all the way. But when Billy makes the shout for SHAZAM, he becomes different, his body grows to 6"5 and he attains the body of a god, muscled perfection that is literally a gift from the gods, his body appears older, to that of a more developed man, looking seven to ten years older.

His red and gold costume hugs into his body, like a second skin. He is powerfully toned, a symbol of masculinity some would call him. When he walks he walks with purpose, with intent. When he swings his fist down on his opponents, it with righteousness and valour. 

Bio: This Billy Batson was born to a universe where the monster Doomsday arrived ten years earlier, the heroes, who were less experienced and had a decade less to develop their abilities, didn't last the way they did in the more well known universe. Superman died, and Doomsday lived, and he continued his terrible rampage across Metropolis.

While much of his history is near identical to that of the Billy Batson in the universe he had now been pulled too, it only changed when Doomsday arrived. With Superman dead, and the JLA present already after being overwhelmed, it was Captain Marvel who stepped up the task of defeating the monster. He collected a crew of Heroes, traveled far and wide across the world for people still able to fight, and took the battle to Doomsday. The beast was eventually killed, and Captain Marvel was the sole survivor of the week long battle that raged all across America.

After this, Captain Marvel was catapulted to a whole new level of fame, but was also busier then ever, and the battle had reduced the worlds number of heroes, so there was all the more for Billy to contend with. The innocent young boy was lost when he was forced to mature, tough choices were made, but Captain Marvel had to come down hard on the people that tried to victimise the world in the absence of a true JLA.

With Mary Marvel and Freddy Freeman killed in the Doomsday war, and few others left, Billy lost many of the sources of guidance and roll models in his life, something Isis, the supposed love of Black Adam would take advantage of. Captain Marvel was the top hero in his universe, with a noticeably more wicked Isis having a word in his ear, teaching him what was his for the taking in a world that needed him so much.

At first Billy used alcohol and debauchery as a mask to cover the strain being the worlds top hero put on him, but as time passed, he stopped depending on it, and started craving it. 

Powers:
When he speaks the wizard's name, a lightning bolt from Zeus with the power of Shazam transforms Billy from an adolescent boy into an adult hero. As Captain Marvel, he is granted powers from the Gods.

S for wisdom of Solomon grants Marvel a photographic memory, a keen analytical mind, clairvoyance, multi-lingual and hypnotic powers. He is also a smooth talker.

H for the strength of Hercules grants often compared to Superman's,allowing him to lift very heavy objects

A for the stamina of Atlas means he doesn't need to sleep or eat as Captain Marvel and can endure more than any human, this also makes him near invulnerable.

Z for the power of Zeus grants the lightning that changes Billy as well as usable as a weapon when he dodges it allowing it to strike down on an enemy and magic resistance.

A for the courage of Achilles grants him inner strength.

M for the speed of Mercury grants Marvel his god like speed and his power to fly. This power is also responsible for his sorcery skills.

Weakness: Captain Marvel is changed back into regular Billy Batson when he is hit by a bolt of lightning, not an easy task to someone who can step aside of lightning, but there are plenty of people in the universe capable of holding him in place. He has also become very fond of strong alcohol and pretty women, both of which can be used to sway his opinion or distract him, at times.

Well,  I seem like a normal girl…  really.  I do the high school thing,  my grades aren’t great but they’re not to bad.  I don’t think I’d ever get into an ivy league school.  I probably could have gotten into state if I applied, thing is I don’t really see that happening anytime soon.  I just ended up with quite a large responsibility,  I would end up bombing out anyway.  You really can’t split yourself too many ways,  I don’t think I could go to college and defend humanity from the dark things that they do their best to ignore. 

I’m a super hero you see.  Not, quite like the ones you see in the comics.  Don’t laugh at me,  It all started a few months ago.  I know this is going to sound cliché but I swear this is the way it happened.  I was walking alone,  at night in a remote forested area far away from the city.  I snuck out often to do this,  because well.  Sometimes you just have to clear your head, and its hard to do when dad is watching TV so loud it rattles your teeth,  and your mom is busy trying to get you to read her book of the month.  Who takes a month to read a book anyway?

I looked up and saw blazing in the sky high above me,  what I thought was a meteor.  Yes,  I am absolutely going there.  It was a big blazing ball of fire hurtling towards earths needless to say I was a bit stuck between terrified and curious.  Perhaps if I followed the instinct to flee things would have been different and I could be living a normal life now.  No use though, thinking of the might have beens.  I didn’t run,  in fact in a moment of downright stupidity.  I stood in place,  watching slack jawed as the thing plummeted to earth.  So…  not fearing space germs,  and radiation I decided that I was going to be the first person to see it.  Maybe I could have even sold it to the highest bidder…

As I got closer, and closer the light seemed to pulse…  as if it was reacting to my presence.  If I had seen more sci-fi movies (I’ve watched a hell of a lot more since this happened.)   I would have known to run as quickly as possible in the other direction. Unfortunately for me,  I hadn’t so…  I went up and touched it.  Yes,  I was absolutely that stupid.  Now,  instead of getting my hand burned away,  or some other horrible fate.  Something…  seemed to hatch from the metal,  thousands of little metal tendrils crawled up my flesh…  slipping beneath my skin,  burrowing and burrowing… 

It hurt…  it hurt a lot.  I couldn’t tell if it felt like my insides were being burned away,  or if they were being frozen and slowly shattering from the strain that was being placed on my body.  Well as you can see I didn’t die.  I probably should have but,  I’m still here…  I was able to write this right?   

My mind was suddenly filled with information,  things that I really couldn’t quite comphrenend.  I think it was trying to tell me just what was going on,  but,  I was way to shocked to process anything besides the fact that a metal alien decided to dive into my body and use it as a new home.  Fortunatly,  it didn’t really seem to want to use me as some puppet.  So, this isn’t going in the direction of invasion of the body snatchers.   

So,  what do you think I did next?  Go running and screaming to the doctors?  Nope!  I went right home and went to bed.  Sounds absolutely stupid doesn’t it?  I didn’t want anyone to think I was crazy…  so,  I guess I wanted to keep this hush hush.  So,  a few days went by. 

It all seemed to be just a really, really,  dumb dream.  Then,  it happened.  Be prepared for even more clichés.  I was walking home from school,  I walked past the bank everyday but something was different today  Sirens were going off,  cops were swarming the place.    Guess what,  a group of evil doers were knocking the place over,  and if that wasn’t enough,  they were threatening to kill hostages. 

The thing inside me,  well,  it didn’t seem to like this very much.  I could feel it,  once more twisting and squirming inside me.  I ran into  an alley,  trying to get away…  maybe it would calm down.  Well,  the next thing I know…  I’m on my hands and knees,  and I feel cold steel coating… well parts of my body.  For some reason the suit wanted me to look like some sort of extra in the heavy metal movie.  Ahhh,  everyone loves the chain mail binkini right? 

Then it whispered in the back of my head,  to help the innocents.  Did I listen?  Of course I did!   If you just found yourself covered in skanky body armor that burst from your flesh?  Would you ignore the little voice in your head telling you to be a hero.  So,  I won’t go into details into what happens,  but needless to say it involves me smashing through the roof, and kicking some major villain ass.  I think  some pictures floating around the internet of it….  That is if your curious. 

Well since then,  I’ve kind of been a champion of this city.  I’ve fought monsters,  aliens,  things claiming to be demons,  and a bald guy who is out to cut me open and take my mechanical friend away from me.  No one has taken me out yet,  gotten in a few scrapes but in the end I really do just stomp their asses.

[The Great Triangle]

Name: Sinestro Dazim Al Korugar

Gender: Male

Description: Sinestro is a red alien being, who looks much like a tall human with black hair.  He wears a yellow and black jumpsuit, with the logo of the Yellow Lanterns on it.  He also carries with him quite frequently a Yellow Lantern power core.


Bio: Sinestro was born as the crown prince of the planet of Korugar, in the mirror universe of Earth-3, and was quickly selected to be the tyrant of the planet.  When Prohl Gosgotha, a villainous Yellow Lantern attacked the planet, Sinestro's father launched everything he had at the Yellow Lantern, losing his life but mortally wounding Gosgotha in the process.  Sinestro did everything he could to keep the Gosgotha alive, but the evil warrior was too gravely wounded.  Reluctantly, Sinestro took up the power ring, and used it to impose order on Korugar.

Realizing that power would corrupt him, Sinestro stepped down from the position of Prince, and used the power ring to adopt a secret identity as a humble biologist.  Slowly, he established secret control over the planet, deciding who won local elections and managing his society through extreme punishments towards criminals.  He did everything to prepare for the return of the Yellow Lanterns, yet when they found him, they simply said to him "Well done."  And lit him continue as the Yellow Lantern of Korugar.  Devastated by this, Sinestro exiled himself to the sleepy planet of Earth, and hoped to live out his life without using his powers. 

On Earth, he met Hal Jordan, and formed a close freindship with him.  Then the Yellow Lanterns, furious at Sinestro's betrayal, gave Hal a power ring of his own.  Sinestro tried to teach him to use his power for good, but Hal quickly became a supervillain named Power Ring.  Slowly, Sinestro has come to believe that order is the only path to justice, and that he can one day erase the taint of the Yellow Lanterns.

Powers: Sinestro has the Power Ring, capable of making the user's fears into concrete reality.  Because Sinestro fears the Yellow Lantern corps, he is one of its most powerful members.  Sinestro's power ring creates impliments of torture, as well as various alien beasts.  He is exceptionally good at fettering others with his powers, and his energy shield resembles a fascistic doom robot.   The power ring provides its standard powers of flight and defense, and also tells the user what he or she fears. 

Weaknesses: Sinestro cannot affect things that are green, often limiting him to different sorts of tactics against certain enemies.  His powers also change radically if his fears change, meaning that his powers often short out if he begins to accept being a tyrant.

This particular Batman's reality is not altogether dissimilar from the current DCU, except that this man has experienced the life of Batman for six years.  As such, he has had the privilege of acting as field leader of the Justice League of America and served as Chairman of the Justice Society of America.  Also, he has participated in every major event, including the War of the Lanterns, the Omega Initiative, World War IV and the Ultimate Crisis.

Devices:  Dick Grayson’s batsuit is designed to give him the tactical upper hand in any fight.  Aside from the electrical hardware, Batman’s outfit houses a Blitzen suit—a disastrous teleportation device that is lethal to ordinary humans, a light-bending simulacrum that enables Batman to go invisible, a three-dimensional film ray that produces lifelike images of bats and a molecular disassembler that permits Batman to become intangible.  Furthermore, the bat suit houses standard equipment such as: a utility belt, a paracape (effective for gliding) and batglove talons.

Utility Belt:  Dick Grayson possesses a utility belt that houses batarangs, escrima sticks, mini computers and a number of aerosol-based anti-personnel munitions.
