Legend of Korra group roleplay poll/discussion

Hello peeps! I've finally finished all of Korra and have geeked out on the timeline and would love to make a group roleplay based on the world that Avatar the Last Airbender & Legend of Korra come from. I want to make a group roleplay where people can make their own character and stories - but still have a central idea.

I'm not looking to play too many canon characters or find the next avatar, but I would like to see what people would be interested in?

1. New Republic City - set 30 years after book 4. This can be a sandbox sort of roleplay with a few villains here and there. Canon characters are possible, but this will focus on a new era of benders.
2. Working Title: Bender School - this would still center in Republic City - but the story would center around a bender school where young students train and hone their abilities. The age range would be 18 to 25.
3. Working Title - Sandbox game that encompasses many of the bending nations, bending school, professional bending, etc.

So, all input is welcome and would love for this to be a community effort. I will be playing as GM, but would love to have a co-gm as well. Its been a while since I roleplayed and this definitely has my muse going.

But I'm glad to see some interest. I'll be making a world-building thread at the end of the week for the plot people most want to see.

Im crossing my fingers for something in Republic city. I loved the semi noir style the city had to it.

I kind of always had a soft spot for Earth Benders, and the Kyoshi girls ^_^

Edit: Nicelodeon practically mistreated the show creators, cutting their funding, barely providing any advertisement to get the show attention, and choosing not to air the last season on TV but instead to put it on the internet.

And the worst crime of all, Airing some episodes out of order.

*nods* Its shocking what they did to the show and staff, and yet crappy shows that almost enduce seizures (like Breadwinners) are thrown every last dollar while good shows are left with table scraps. -_-   *shakes head sadly*

I am waiting to see what others choose before I make my own character, help balance us out.

In that case I think I will go with Republic City Police Officer, makes her an Earth Bender, and a Get Out of Jail Free card if the group gets in trouble with the law.

'Sir I was just...uhh.. escorting these civilians out of the investigation zone, before they trample any evidence! Yeah that's it."

Color me interested. I've been toying with firebender savant type who's figured out lightning bending very quickly and very well, but is utterly terrible at traditional firebending.
