Nightwood Falls - Freeform Horror Based Game (Closed Until Sept!)

Main char

Name: Jesse Crowe

Age: 20

Character Type: Main Character

Occupation: University sophomore

Physical Description: Jesse is 6ft 2in with brown eyes.  The picture tells the rest as he has no other distinguishing marks.

Personality: Jesse is mellow and easy going, both by disposition and hobbies, to a point where it often becomes a liability.  He has a love for all the classic horror franchises as well as the Halloween season itself.  He is basically still an overgrown teenager, more interested in getting high and chasing high school girls than anything to do with his future.

History: Jesse was born and raised in Nightwood and fought the common malady of his generation, namely boredom found in small town life.  It was a shame as he could have been a gifted athlete, born with a million dollar arm but a ten cent attitude.  Jesse could get by in high school, possessing enough raw talent to be the starting quarterback for his last three years before graduation despite his growing abuse of marijuana.  He found a different story when it came to college.  He was a small fish in an enormous pond, and, even though a few recruiters had kept their eye on him, the only full scholarship he eventually received was to NFU.

Not that he was that interested in staying in school, but it seemed better than the alternative of working.  He actually expended some effort to stay on the field until that day when a teammate rolled awkwardly over his leg, blowing out his knee and introducing him to pain killers.  The injury has seemed to linger longer than the team doctors ever thought it would and Jesse is now quite likely on the verge of losing his free ride.

Quirks: Must have 2+ and be equal to Flaws. These are positive characteristics that can help your character survive. There is where you would list weapons.

• Friendly and outgoing-Jesse is always out for a good time, often not caring about the consequences
• Upper body strength/Accurate arm-Though foolishly wasting his potential, Jesse still maintains his physique in the weight room and the throwing arm he was blessed with
• Horror movie fan-He has extensive knowledge of the genre from his time in rehab and being a fan growing up

Flaws: Must have 2+ and be equal to quirks. These are negative characteristics which could lead to harm for your character.

• Curiosity-Not seeming to learn from the movies he enjoys, Jesse is often the first to investigate strange noises or be led astray
• Drug abuse-Jesse hasn't met a drug he didn't like, though his only real experience so far is with pot and pain killers
• Bad knee-keeps him from running fast and has potential of giving out on him at the worst moments

It's really easy to introduce a character at this point in the story - so seeing if there are any other people interested currently!
