Typical scene, but I had an urge to GM some Zombie Survival :) basically, the dead have started rising in a modern day city in classic G. A. Romero fasion, and survivors must band together in order to reach a safe haven, be it a mall or community center, where they can fortify themselves and hope for rescue. Naturally, there will be backstabbing, trust issues, and plenty of times when you may have to face or flee from the walking dead.

There will be a decent balance between the slow, lumbering and stupid, and the fast and feroscious, but all will have the same effect of a bite. You get bitten, its only a matter of time before your one of them, or are killed by your allies, or do the deed yourself.

This will be using a Freeform GM system. Basically, I won't have a character, but will control everything as a sort of 'fate' whenever you interact with something or someone, the GM will step in to control the outcome. Things like picking up and moving objects are an exception, but if you were to swing a fire axe at a zombie, it would be my call whether or not you crush its skull and kill it outright, cleave down its shoulder and make it thrash around, maybe toppling a mall display over, or just plain miss it and the zombie claws at the axe.

It will mostly be for what seems cool or appropriate at the time, but it won't be unfair ^^ given the nature of the game, tell me if your comfortable with the idea of your character dying, and if so, any conditions you'd prefer? If you are fine with your character being completely mortal and killable, I could hold out for a chance for you to die in a rescue attempt, or get bitten while cowardly escaping with supplies, or maybe selflessly fling yourself to your death when infected.

The game never started, so I dropped the idea, but there seems to be zombeh interest now... I might want to do a little Freeform GMing ^__^
