"The Saw Is Family"

Theme: Based upon the (movie) series The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. What does this mean for players? It can include for anyone wishing to partake but not limited to: incest, non-consensual sexual acts, gore, violence, bondage. There are a variety of characters available, so if something does NOT appeal to you, OR you fear you may be triggered by something but you'd still like to play, there's a good chance we can work around something (we will ALWAYS work around a trigger- there is never a question there). Due to the nature of the roleplay, and the potential for acts of violence/extreme violence and gore- this roleplay is extreme.

Setting: Travis County, Texas. The Hewitt and Sawyer homes,  The Last Chance Gas Station, and the unfortunate, desolate back roads that connect the trio of terror.

Characters: Canon (family)- Eddie "Tex" Sawyer, Tinker Sawyer, Alfredo Sawyer, Leatherface "Junior" Sawyer, Mama "Anne" Sawyer, Drayton Sawyer, Nubbins Sawyer, Chop Top Sawyer, Grandpa Sawyer, W.E. Sawyer, Vilmer Sawyer, Darla Sawyer, Charlie Hewitt Jr./Sheriff Hoyt, Luda Mae Hewitt, Henrietta Hewitt, Monty Hewitt, Jedidiah Hewitt, Tea Lady Hewitt.

Victims:  Canon- Sally Hardesty, Franklin Hardesty, Vanita Brock, Lieutenant Baude "Lefty" Hardesty Enright, Michelle, Benny, Ryan, Sara, Jenny, Rothman, Pepper, Erin, Chrissie, Morgan, Andy Kemper, Bailey, Dean, Eric, Ryan, Nikki, Kenny, Darryl, Burt Hartman, Carl Hartman.

Original Characters are welcome as well, just make sure you are familiar with the series.

If you are interested in playing, it is NOT necessary to have seen all movies in the series. It's preferable that you've at least seen one to have an idea of the basis, but it's not necessary. However, if you haven't seen any of the movies, please do read the character bios. I don't have links up as of yet, am working on that for the series. In the meantime, if you have never seen any of the movies, please Google the summary of at least the first movie to get the foundation of the play.

No!  Feel free to let your creative juices flow! Like I said, as long as you're familiar with the series, creating an OC is welcome! Your OC can be a family member, victim, member of law enforcement trying to solve the murders, a transient passing through who just happens to be insane enough to love the family's ways and want to join in/help- you're only limited by what your mind can create! Hoping to have you join in!

Absolutely! Depending upon what roles end up getting filled, I will post some links for the (canon) family tree, so if certain players have only seen certain films and may not be familiar with other characters, it will give an idea of who everyone is. I'll work on getting that up tonight. Having extensive knowledge of the movie/series isn't necessary, and you certainly don't have to have seen every movie- that's definitely a lot to ask of players! All I'm asking of anyone wishing to claim a character or create an OC is just to be familiar with the series  (knowing the basis of what it's about, ultimately what happens, ect.) It may have been 20 years since you last watched one of the movies, and I would still tell you to go for it! I'm willing to work with anyone who is interested.

For those who are wanting to claim a character or create an OC, post in this thread as well. Here is mine, and an example:

Character: (OC) Annie Hewitt

Age: 22

Daughter of Charlie Hewitt Jr. (AKA: Sheriff Hoyt) and the late Elizabeth Hewitt

Bio: Annie's mother died when she was only 3 years old, leaving her to be raised by her father and fundamentalist grandmother, Luda Mae Hewitt. Growing up, Annie, much like her cousin, Henrietta, was extremely sheltered. Neither young woman received a formal education, as family is all that matters. Luda Mae made Annie believe every person the family murdered was justified, as they were horrible sinners, and that it was for their redemption that they were being killed. As Annie grew to become a woman, she constantly told her, she was the chosen one. She and Tex would be the ones to keep the family going strong. There was but one problem, Luda Mae had taught Annie nothing about life outside of their home. Annie was never properly taught about sex, where babies come from, or how they're made for that matter. Annie and Henrietta would often help their Aunt Anne during the summers, and it wouldn't be until she was approaching adulthood that she'd actually learn about such things in the Sawyer home.

Hello, I'm very much interested and would love to play a victim. I have seen only 1 movie (and I know I shall get myself familiarized with the rest) but really love horror and well... rather into some pretty extreme torture porn as well. So while I might be not that pro about the world and the main characters as a victim I believe I can easily be involved in the game. I have some limits and preferred kinks of course so I assume I should make these published together with the character descirption. So, can I join? :)

Absolutely! Sounds great! If there is something specific you'd definitely like to incorporate for your character, go ahead and add it in the character bio/profile. If you have an On/Offs as well, you can certainly link that so anyone playing will know your specific ons/offs and limits. Glad to have you joining!
