I'll just publicly declare the action I choose because how many vampires are there in this town?  >.>

I have to agree.  Mint's haikus were among the most entertaining parts of this game.  *solemnly salutes*

I suspect yugi inherited Red's role in more ways than one...

Maybe or maybe not.

This doesn't have the same feel that it does as the actual game.

NightOwl35

Gotta say that was a fun game :D A little slow, but still enjoyable!

Players Roles
Yugi - Executioner turned Jester after NightOwl was killed
RPGuy - Godfather
Mint - Amnesiac turned Investigator
Sunshine - Retributionist
Remi - Doctor
Phoenix - Jester
MP - Framer
KS - Lookout
Derwaysh - Bodyguard
Miss Myobi - Investigator
NightOwl - Vigilante
Missy - Mafioso turned Godfather
Val - Survivor

Also I'm actually fairly surprised that what me and Mint did worked well. We actually sent Persephone a PM with all the roles called out pretty accurately at the end of day 2. At the time we just listed Godfather/Mafioso together though, and we weren't 100% on Sunshine.

Tons of fun though and good job to the mafia and town and the neutral roles! It was great job hanging/shooting you all! :D

So, now that I am more awake and ready to get this over with, here is what I will enlighten the town to. From the very beginning I was working with Minty. Using the power she had as a neutral role, she went out and started messaging people for their roles, and then together we would piece things together. Finding the lookout was our great achievement during day 2. Because of them, we had learned MP visited Red. Since all roles that could visit during the night, and not kill, were claimed the safe bet was to hang MP and if we were wrong, I'd shoot the other person. During the night phase, we discussed who was suspicious next and determined RPGuy was acting odd, so he would be next. While he may have ordered my death, we were still right and Mint got the Godfather hung.
I'm not sure I helped quite that much.  You can ask Minty and Perse.  I spent more time over-analyzing every little detail.  >.>

Yeah. Mint is a fucking force to be reckoned with. I looked at that PM and was like "Fuck. Me. Is everyone that transparent and obvious?!" lmao

But this was a good test run, I feel. I hope everyone liked it, though. ^^

I wouldn't say everyone was transparent.  I was just rather oblivious and perhaps dense because the only role I figured out was Red being a Jester for obvious reasons...

This was too easy to figure out cause of PMs. Next time if you do run this again pms shouldn't be allowed cause it makes it all too easy to figure out.

Even without pms the fact that everyone could be tied to a role made it easier since everyone is a unique role.

Well the thing is, is that the PMs were kind of like whispering to someone in the actual game, though you could only do that in the day time. The other issue I could notice is roles that were not present in this that are present in a normal game, namely sheriff, jailer, medium, escort, serial killer, the random town as well. I mean, I know why some of these (like more of the other random roles, stuff like spy and mayor) weren't included. Some of them are too hard to enforce in a game like this, like the jailer. You'd have to do that somehow without showing who the jailer is to the jailed. Which seems really complicated! Medium wouldn't work too well either in this sort of thing. But yes I agree that everyone having unique roles does kind of make it easy especially since the roles remain static.

yugi006

Also the actual game moves much faster so there isn't a lot of time to think whereas here we had a lot of time to think and formulate plans and such.

Remiel

I, for one, was greatly surprised that everyone just told Mint their roles, flat out.  No one even attempted to resist, lie, or claim a fake identity.  From the sound of things, I was the only one who refused to tell her my role.

She wasn't team Town; she was team Neutral.  She could have easily aligned with the Mafia, and then used that information against you guys.

I never flat out told Mint at all.  She and Perse can tell you that I resisted telling my role for as long as humanly possible.

I pretty much told ks I didn't have to save him.  He had the votes against him.   But here I was busting my ass trying to keep him from being lynched because I truly believed he was town.

Yeah he was a challenge.

I think you underestimate the amount of effort I put into this lol.

Valerian

I had something of an advantage as far as the risks of revealing my role -- when you're the survivor, it doesn't matter nearly so much if you accidentally reveal your role to the mafia.  Both sides just want you to align with them.  ;D  Even so, though, I didn't actually reveal my role until very near the end.  Mint and Night just guessed who I was before that.

Yup. I could tell you were neutral pretty quick in our conversations do it was between the survivor and the executioner but your voting patterns with me quickly leaned to survivor!  So then I trusted her with mine as well and we were locked.

RedPhoenix

Was fun, thanks for running it.

Turns out I hate jesters though. :P
