Hey all. Kalob Is takeing on The Batman instead of Cyborge and Deathstroke as his Villian. So We now have the big 3.
As for Dark Clowns Suggestion Yes an League Member should have been killed and im thinking Hal Gordan/Green Lantern is the hero in question.
He was killed six months ago by Darkseid who also fell that day.

As for the universe itself lets take whatever elements we like from the Comics, Cartoons, Films and Tv Shows to create OUR universe.
But id like to say that teams like the Justice Society, Teen Titans and the Outsiders are active.
Deaths such as Jason Todds Robin have occured. Babs Gordan is now The Oracle. Supergirl Has arrived on Earth, etc etc...
But lets help shape our gritter, sexier DC universe.

The Watchtower station was Destroyed as was the Hall of Justice Museam...this new team will need a new Base.
Im going to put up the Bio outlines now, thanx to Dark Clown and Kalbos help with these.

Darkseid is immortal with the Omega Spark even Superman could barely hold him off one and one, plus my character is if the story is to work for her gifted with a spark of the Omega Force and Darkseid's Earthly servant. Add to that he was around in the year 3400 or so. I was thinking maybe the Green Lantern fell to my character likely she wanted to study the lanterns and ring to force a similar sort of power for some of her agents, without all the overt power but still a cabal of lanterns for her to call on. The lanterns and ring well secured in a pocket dimension so no new Green Lantern could be selected by the ring.

Mr Self Destruct

Darkseid has been beaten by Superman before.  With Darkseid, he represents the ultimate threat to Earth, and to the Man of Steel.  Superman would fight him to a standstill, but whether he won or lost, he would make sure that Darkseid was defeated before he surrendered.  He did the same thing with Doomsday.

In the recently released animated film with the emergence of the new Supergirl, the battle between Supes and Darkseid ended when Superman unleashed everything he had on Darkseid.  He didn't hold back for fear of destroying Metropolis in the fight.  He went all out, and Darkseid was summarily tossed back into the boomtube to Apokolips.

Maybe he was trapped in the Source Wall?

RubySlippers

Well his son and former Justice League Member (twice) Orion a decent one was prophecied to rule in his fathers place so likely he is on the march to take over Apokolips, likely bogging down other elements of the former military. I was thinking The Contessa might have moved to take the Omega Force from Darkseid duing the battle maybe being a little successful the reason he lost. If she had a choice she would have sent him to the big black hole in the middle of our galaxy maybe tampering with his boomtube generator or using magic to alter the codes.

Mr Self Destruct

My Character Profiles:

Superhero/villain: Superman
Real Name: Kal-El (Clark Kent)
Age: 32
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual (Dominant)
Base of Operations: N/A (formerly Metropolis)
Powers: Flight, Super Strength & Speed, Enhanced Hearing, X-ray Vision, Heat Vision
Weaknesses: Kryptonite, vulnerability to magic, red sunlight radiation

History: He was once Metropolis' golden boy, defender of truth, justice, and the American way.  That all changed, however, when Hal was killed by Darkseid.  The invasion of Apokolips was a trying time, with the League constantly intervening to stop the Shock Troops and the forces of the Furies.  It was decided that the League needed to expand it's roster, and other heroes of varying abilities were brought in to help combat the threat.  But when Hal died, Superman's loss of control frightened him terribly.  He defeated Darkseid, resulting in him being interred into the Source Wall, but the loss of his own control over his formidable powers and the death of his friend Hal was too much.  Superman went into seclusion, disappearing altogether for many months.

Activity: Superman fled Earth altogether, leaving behind everything he knew.  He distanced himself from his own mortality, and in doing so, fully embraced his Kryptonian heritage.  He regretted the end of his Clark Kent persona and everything that went with it (his job at the Daily Planet, his relationship with Lois Lane, his closeness with his adopted mother Martha Kent), but in distancing himself from that life, he was able to fully devote himself to being Superman.  He vowed that no other hero would die defending the Earth that was now his home, resulting in a darker, more determined Man of Steel.

Known Enemies: Lex Luthor, Darkseid, Brainiac, Metallo

Appearance:

Equipment: N/A

_________________________________________

Superhero/villain: The Joker
Real Name: N/A
Age: 33
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual (Dominant)
Base of Operations: Gotham City
Powers: Criminal Sociopath with Homicidal Tendencies
Weaknesses: His physical body isn't built for long term combat. He can barely last more than five minutes against the Batman.

History: For as long as he can remember, he's been the Joker, the thorn in Batman's side and the bane of Gotham City.  His crime sprees have been both grandiose and chaotic in scheme and planning, and has resulted in the mass murder of many Gothamites over the years.  He has a standing order to be returned to Arkham Asylum upon arrest, and each time, the security of his cell block is doubled, though it doesn't seem to help, at least not long term.  There was a time when he was little more than a two bit thug, but after the accident that scarred his physical features and his sanity, anything in his mind of his old self has been fractured and replaced by the maniacal madness of the Clown Prince of Crime.

Activity: When the League disbanded, things only worsened for the Joker.  It gave the Batman more time to patrol Gotham, and by dint of his increased activity, more time to disrupt and defeat the Joker's plans.  He's been laying low after his recent escape from Arkham, and has taken on a sociopathic sidekick in the form of Harley Quinn, the former Harleen Quinzel, a one time psychiatrist at Arkham that took an unhealthy and entirely unprofessional interest in him.  She was easy to manipulate, however, and once her internal defenses were broken, she was easy to bend to his will.

Known Enemies: The Batman, Nightwing, Robin, Huntress, Oracle

Appearance:

Equipment: Toxin-spewing corsage (toxin is a nerve agent, resulting in temporary paralysis), spring launched daggers in the toe of each shoe, brass knuckles for each hand, .45 caliber handgun hidden on person, diamond topped walking stick (thin bladed short sword concealed in handle), vials of Joker smile toxin concealed on person, garrote wire in brim of fedora, cufflinks (one is a small tracking device – receiver built into belt buckle, the other is a small piece of C4 explosive – detonator is stem of cufflink)

VoluptuousVixen

I like the idea of Darkside haveing "Killed" Green Lantern as far as the League were concerd.
Ive been thinking and thinking about my Villian and Ive decided to take on "Mad Harriot" from Darksides Furies.
And Il be temping Granny Goodness. My idea is that after the fall of Darkside that Apokolips was sealed off, along with the New Gods (who will hopefully bring a new order to Apokolips.)

Granny now slightly depowerd is trapped on Earth along with her faveourite fury Harriot.
It would be fitting that her powers have Decreased and she is plotting her revenge on the Justice League as well as wanting to create a new Apokolpis on Earth. I can see her forgeing an allieance with The Contessa very easily.

As for Harriot she now appears as a human female in order to matain her disguise on Earth. However she still has all the skills she learned from years fighting for her lord Darkside, she too wants Blood in vengence for her Slain Sisters the Furies.

Chrystal

Ugh... as much fun as this looks, I'm afraid I am going to be totally out of my depth. If you want cannon characters, then I can't oblige. And I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about...

Sorry, but I think you would be better off without me.

Please check out my latest A/A post.
I would rather watch a movie then have dinner than have dinner then watch a movie!

Superhero/villain: Wonder Woman
Real Name: Diana Prince
Age: 30
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual (Dominant)
Base of Operations: N/A (formerly New York City)
Powers: Flight, Super Strength & Speed.
Weaknesses: Magic and pysch attacks. Diana is physically the strongest woman on the planet. She can witstand much however The Gods ALLWAYS design
a flaw and she can be killed by those who created her.

History:

Diana was the daughter of Queen Hippolyta, the first child born on Paradise Island in the three thousand year history that the immortal Amazons lived there. The Amazons had been created around 1200 B.C. when the Greek goddesses drew forth the souls of all women who had been murdered by men.

Hippolyta was instructed to mold some clay from the shores of Paradise Island into the form of a baby girl. Six members of the Greek Pantheon then bonded the soul to the clay, giving it life. Each of the six also granted Diana a gift: Demeter, great strength; Athena, wisdom and courage; Artemis, a hunter's heart and a communion with animals; Aphrodite, beauty and a loving heart; Hestia, sisterhood with fire; Hermes, speed and the power of flight. Diana grew up surrounded by a legion of sisters and mothers. When she was a young woman, the gods decreed that the Amazons must send an emissary into Man's World. Queen Hippolyta ordered a contest to be held, but forbade Diana from participating. Diana disobeyed and did so anyway in disguise, easily winning the contest and being named the Amazon's champion. She was given a uniform fashioned from the standard of someone who had visited the island a few decades earlier.

Wonder Woman did not keep her identity a secret, and she was not at first a "super-heroine". Indeed, her character was in many ways that of a babe in the woods, innocent and without guile. Diana spoke only Themyscirian, a combination of classical Greek and Turkish. She had to learn English when she arrived in America, rather than knowing the language intuitively. Nonetheless, Diana was trained as a warrior and had no compunction against using deadly force when called for. Diana often dealt with war, injustice, inequality, death, and conflicts involving the Olympian Gods.

Before embarking on her mission, Diana was given the Lasso of Truth, forged by Hephaestus himself. She was also given the Sandals of Mercury, which allowed her to instantly traverse great distances in seconds. Diana's mission was one of peace, but part of it initially involved defeating a mad plot by Ares to destroy the world. Diana ventured into the world by starting at Boston. There she met a Harvard professor, Dr. Julia Kapatelis, and her daughter, Vanessa Kapatelis, as well as the Air Force Officers Steve Trevor and Etta Candy. Diana stayed with Julia and Vanessa and over the course of a month or two, Diana learned to speak English. She was attacked at their home by Decay, one of Ares' minions, and after a battle that spilled out into the streets of Boston she first came to the public's eye and was given the name Wonder Woman. Upon discovering Ares' plan (one that involved creating a nuclear holocaust), Diana managed to foil it, battling through his sons Phobos and Deimos before finally convincing him the error of his ways with the Lasso. After defeating the God of War, Diana returned home for healing at the hands of Poseidon himself.
Not long after she met other heroes, Superman, The Batman and the Justice League.

She also gathered the attention of Barbara Minerva, the Cheetah, who desired to take the Lasso of Truth from Diana. She lied to Wonder Woman about having found the lost Girdle of Antiope to get close to her, but after touching the Lasso her truth was made clear. Diana was frustrated and angry over her naive trust of Minerva. That same night, Barbara decided to take it by force and attacked as the Cheetah. Diana managed to fight her off, and decided it was time to return home again. Over the last decade she has trained two Wonder Girls, Lead the Justice League and defended the entire universe.
But tradgerdy struck when her team-mate Green Lantern (Hall Jordan) was recently killed after a battel with Darkside. The League was starting to crumble and this was the final straw. With the Watchtower destroyed they disbanded. Superman left Earth and The Batman dedicated to fighting only in Gotham.
The JSA offerd her the chance to join them but Diana declined saying she was "Done" with teams.

Activity: Diana has undergone a new "Look" and moved from her New York penthouse and stopped all her work as a UN ambassidor and given up her secret identity. She fights with less compassion for her foes. She has severd all times with Paridise island and her mother as well as her sisters "Cassie" and "Donna". She has killed before (Maxwell lord when revenging her friend Blue Beetle) and after the sudden demise of Hal she may again.

Known Enemies: Ares The God of War, Cheetah, Circe

#36
Superhero/villain: The Contessa
Real Name: Contessa Erica Alexandra del Portenza
Age: 4242
Sexual Orientation: Lesbian (dominant)
Base of Operations: Tower of High Magic, Plane of Yig
Powers: Immortal, Magic (is likely one of the most powerful current Homo Magi on Earth but is contested for that title by others), Genetics and Science (holds a few Ph.Ds and degrees in Law and Medicine), Master Jack-of-All-Trades (cannot best a superhero or a true expert in any skill but is definately a well versed student in anything not otherwise noted), Forge Magic Items, Make Pacts Granting Magic to Humans (limited to one endowment say becoming invisible at will and cannot be something to powerful can't make someone a major villian proper), Vast Wealth, Endowed with Godhood (akin to the New Gods with similar advantages along with a Spark of the Omega Force 10% of its power).
Weaknesses: Bound by The Source not to use her powers to conquer any world on the material planes, cannot kill major champions of any world (the pact didn't mention other things though). Another weakness is simple she sees herself as a protector of the Earth she may do it in twisted ways and may also act oddly but her heart is in that direction so is most likely to side with a hero if there is a greater threat, like Darseids invasion.

History: Actually born in ancient times she was one of the rare first Homo Magi and started honing her arts early including finding the Immortality Key a magic to make her immortal and ageless that she later removed from knowledge even by her at the request of The Source. She actually never saw herself as a villian she protected humans but ruling many as a god figure (in the old myths crops up as a minor female goddess sometimes good or evil. That changed with Atlantis she had a major war with the early Homo Magi upstarts believing only the few elite should be blesses with it her offspring that led to the downfall of the civilization. Later she embraced science as another magic and used her growing cult PRIME ARCANUS to suppress science from mortals through the mortal authorities while in secret advancing it herself. Its at some point she met her husband Lex Luthor she liked him, wanted a child having a daughter Catherine del Portenza - Luthor and tries to annex his organization to hers. Things fell apart and they divorced but she still is fond of the gentleman and imbued her daughter with long life who is now a medical doctor with Doctors Without Borders she can live for a few centuries aging slowly not she is an adult. Her daughter is also a mage using her arts for healing and protection but is neutral. She met Darkseid in battle making a pact with The Source to keep 10% of the Omega Force and granting of Godhood for draining this force off Darkseid into the Lantern of the Omega Force made by the Source to store the rest of the power and its stored in the Source Wall itself shielded by it. It came with a price to prevent another Darkseid she had to agree not to conquer any world or worlds, this includes killing major defenders of them. Still she is a villian and seeks power using Earth as a base to take over non-world assets, gaining knowledge and power and backing other villians to attain glory spitfully since she can't control say the Earth she can allow others to do so. And she likes to test humanity with fickle games of hers rewarding those that do well and killing others.

Activity: Laying low and getting her cult back in order, recruiting to it and keeping her eye open for opportunity.

Known Enemies: Doctor Fate, The Demon (can't kill him but considers him a meddler)

Appearance without costume: A 40 year old Sophia Loren dressed well either in dressy casual wear to nice dresses and business suits with the ring of her cult on and medallion as its leader.

Costume: Mask, war robes, rod and overall very ancient look.

Equipment: Has lots of minor magic items but has four big items of power. Mask of Sight (her mask/helmet has not eye spaces it lets her see beyond think of this as Daredevil's Radar Sense but can see through walls, see slighting into the future akin to a powerful sixth sense for danger). Amulet of the High Sorceress (her amulet lets her locate any minion of hers and summon them to her often using this to bring in mutant genti magically imbued mostrosities to do battle for her). Box of Wonders (a chest that makes anything places inside magical with a modest effect good or bad as she wishes - she often uses this to give a follower a gift or to send something into the world that is malicious for her amusement but its ability other than a good or bad magical effect is random). ACME Catalog (this is a fun item it will allow the holder once to order anything that they wish within guidelines of The Source for 34 hours exactly the book then teleports away to some other location wanting to be found, the effect always has a drawback - example a child finds it and wants to be the strongest boy in the world it is grasnted usually some item they must use but might get psychotic rage so they lose control - its protected from all detection/tracking and can change its appearance to any book - note it works once per person or being using it and cannot be used to harm her interests or break her obligation to The Source) - Think the Loony Toons Classic Company mixed with the Sears Catalogs on the early 20th Century.

Mutant Monstrosities & Other Servants: These are usually mutated clones of minor villians with strong points, infused by genetic alterations and magic, imbued by a pact with her and raised to be utterly loyal to her all have four traits- insanity but directing with it one magical effect, high resistance to damage (phsyical, mental), superhuman strength and one random power from the host villian if they could fly it can fly. They also look utterly monstrous. She has other servants mages, people with magical items and above the norm talents, scientists and ordinary folks.

Swedish Steel

Yeah, hello there. Yes, I've been talked into giving Green Arrow a shot, a great and truly flawed character, my kind of hero really. As for my villain I would really, really like to give Black Adam a try, I imagine that would be a nice way to blow of some steam since I am also constantly pissed about the state of the world. A good thing I've never developed any super powers. ;)

  • Telepathy: Martians can read minds, enter them mentally, and can communicate with living beings by connecting their minds to them. Appearance without costume:(True Form)

Costumes:(As John Jones)

(As Megan Morse/M'gann M'orzz)

(As The Martian Manhunter)

History: After watching his world die due to a combination of war and the H’ronmeers Curse, a bioengineered weaponized disease that causes Martians to spontaneously combust when they use their innate telepathic abilities, J’onn was transported through time and space by the miscalculated beam of  Dr. Saul Erdels communications transmitter. The machine exploded from the feedback caused by the Martians arrival and Sent a electromagnetic pulse out that caused Dr. Erdels pacemaker to malfunction, causing a heart attack and killing the only man capable of sending J’onn back to his own time and world.
Stranded J’onn used his shape shifting and former military skills to blend in with the earthlings, eventually gaining a position with Metropolis PD first in Homicide and later as a member of the Special Crimes Unit, the branch that handles Meta-human crimes, He has gone undercover for them many times working, to infiltrate criminal organizations like VULTURE, or to uncover corrupt officials like those running The Department of Extranormal Operations. By far however the largest bit of undercover deception was that of keeping his duel life a secret from everyone except his JLA teammates. That was until the day of The Event. The combination of fire, screams, and psychic backlash from the thousand….Millions?!…dying around him paralyzed J’onn with horror as waves of vivid memories thought long buried broke free. The Emotional anguish distracted the Martian causing him to show his true self. One minute John Jones fought bravely alongside his comrades and the next a seven and a half foot tall alien with glowing red eyes elongated head, and thin wispy body is pulling off the officers shredded uniform. Despite finally pulling himself together and helping to defeat Darkseid, galvanized by the death of his close friend Hal Jordan, J’onn former life was ruined.

History: The childhood friend and ally of Clark Kent, Lex long ago realized supermans true identity and origins. At first Lex started pushing the envelope of what was legal to force confrontations, hoping his “friend” would end the charade and confess his “secret.” but, as time went on he realized that Clark had decided he was unworthy of the trust the last son of Krypton gave so easily to others. The resulting feelings of betrayal and jealousy have turned to deep hatred and loathing of the “Man of Steel.” Lex has become obsessed with exposing the Fraud that is Superman and “destroying the alien menace.” These feelings have been even more deeply ingrained due to the events of the last year. First, Brainiac infected and took over Lex, mind and body, in an attempt to use his influence, intelligence, and resources to wipe earth clean of biological life forms. An attempt that left Lex infected with nanobots. Nanobots that he can’t remove without dieing. The arrival of Darkseid a brief six months latter and his short but decidedly shameful enslavement to Granny Goodness only cemented his loathing for all things Extraterrestrial.

Superhero/villain: Booster Gold
Real Name: Michael Jon Carter
Age: 25
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual(Sometimes Flexible); Sexually Dominant
Base of Operations: Metropolis
Powers: Booster Gold had no special powers of his own, but he has a powersuit that enables him to fly, and gives him super-strength. He is quick-witted and inventive. His wrist gauntlets generate energy blasts that ranged from stun-level power to destructive energy that could vaporize tempered steel, the form of energy they give off can be set to either the Ultraviolet, Visible-Light, or Infra-red spectrum. In addition to this he has his assistant/sidekick Skeets.

Weaknesses: Without his suit, and future tech he is just an average man, who normally bites of more than he can chew.

History:
Booster was born Michael Jon Carter, an average man to an average family in the 25th century even as a child he always wished for something more. To be more than just average. First he wanted to be a movie star, then a musician, then finally in high school and college  he set his sights on a sports star....Sadly his hopes(and ego) far outstripped his abilities and as he finished his schooling he was forced to face the fact that he had nothing to look forward to but a mundane existence.

But the desire for more never left him, never weakened, if anything it grew stronger until it was all he could do not to run off and do something stupid simply to keep from being 'normal.'  Finally on the eve of his 24th birthday Michael, already a bit drunk, decided he'd had enough. Enough of being average, enough of his small apartment, enough of his dead end job, enough of everything that he was in his own time. And so that very night he broke into a bank. Hell bent on changing his life. Which he did....just not in the manner he expected. Before he could even begin to escape the authorities had arrived. Even though he managed to make a run for it in a stolen car he had already been identified and was being pursued.

The chase lasted 10 minutes before Michael accidentally crashed his vehicle into the glass display wall of a museum. The next half an hour was a blur of running, hiding, gunshots, and narrow escapes. During which he managed to commandeer a security robot, and grab several weapons and tools that were in different displays. The last item he grabbed was a time machine which he used to escape, along with his ill gotten goods, into the 21st century.

Upon arrival in our time, Booster used a credit card he had also taken from the museum to set himself up until he could make a living on his own. He adopted the name Jesus Alvarez on the credit card for a short time telling himself that he would pay him back as soon as he could. After he found a place to stay he quickly made use of his stolen technology from the future and Skeets' knowledge of events to come in order to create a successful company he called Goldstar Incorporated as a holding company for himself in the heart of Metropolis.

Currently wanted for thievery, assault, unauthorized time travel, and unauthorized altering of the time stream. If Booster were to ever return to the 25th century he would most likely be locked away for the rest of his life. He has strategically left out these details from the story that he has told everyone in the 21st century.

Activity: (Assuming it's ok with the GM/Dark Clown and fits in with our time line) Before the invasion Booster was at best a minor hero. Now that the invasion has passed he has been doing his best to establish a name for himself. Though a terrible blow for many the sudden departure of Superman has actually played right into Booster's plans and hopes. Using Metropolis's need for a hero given the absence of the Man of Steel, Booster has done his best to supplant Superman in the hearts and minds of Metropolites, and hopefully Americans in general.

Booster Gold:See Powers
Skeets: Countless headlines of major events yet to come, Quantum processor allowing sentient-like thought. Small defensive weapon of the same kind as those in Booster's Gauntlets.

**I'm thinking he could be somewhat similar to Magog from Kingdom Come in that he feels this is his time rather than Superman's if that doesn't fit I'll be happy to change it ;D**

Superhero/villain: Black Adam
Real Name: Teth-Adam
Age: True Age Unknown, Appears mid to late 20's/Early to mid 30's
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual, Dominant, Sadistic
Base of Operations: Formerly  Kahndaq, currently hidden.
Powers:
The powers of Shazam
Shu: Stamina; Nigh-invulnerable, Adam does not need to eat, sleep, or breathe and can survive unaided in space. He is extremely resistant to magical attack, and effectively tireless.
Heru: Speed; Black Adam can fly, move, and fight in an atmosphere and in space at extremly fast speeds on par with that of Captain Marvel and Superman.
Amon: Strength; Provides Adam with truly incredible strength. In a strength class with Superman and Captain Marvel. On one occasion, He was successfully able to hold his own against an assemblage of The Justice League, Justice Society, and The Teen Titans.
Zehuti: Wisdom; Access to godly levels of knowledge, of both the magical and mundane. Can simply ‘know’ appropriate knowledge for a situation, and be counseled as to the best course of action. Black Adam’s senses are phenomenally sharp as well, though nowhere near the level of Superman’s.
Aton: Power; Aton provides the magic lightning that transforms Adam, and Adam can use the lightning bolt as a weapon by dodging it and allowing it to strike an opponent. The power of Aton enables Adam’s flight, enhances his physical abilities and invulnerability, and gives him godly resistance against magical attacks.
Mehen: Courage; Mehen provides a godly degree of inner strength, including superhuman resistance to psychic manipulation, or any form of mind control.
Weaknesses: If struck by the lightning he calls down Adam turns into a normal man and is as vulnerable as any normal man until he turns back into Black Adam, Adam is from a time when men and women spoke their word and meant it as such he tends to expect others to operate on a level of honor that simply is very rare in this day and age as such, he can be tricked more easily than others. He has a notoriously volatile temper, which is made even more so by his own powers and has been known to lose control when angered too much.
History:
Black Adam is the first recipient of the powers of Shazam. Born in the ancient Egyptian empire to Pharaoh Ramses the Second in the neighboring  land of Kahndaq, Black Adam‘s mortal name was Adam .The wizard Shazam was at the time serving as high priest to Ramses II, and seeking a successor to his godly powers, became impressed with the virtue and martial heroism displayed by Adam. Having determined to make Adam his successor, Shazam’s intentions are altered by the intervention of his half-demonic daughter Blaze. Blaze strikes a bargain with the god Set, so that when Adam speaks the word “Shazam”, he becomes Teth-Adam ( Mighty Adam), the avatar not of the wizard’s deific patrons, but of the Egyptian gods Shu, Heru, Amon, Zehuti, Aton and Mehen.

Over his many years of existence Adam has seen his original wife and family murdered, he has watched his friends slowly age and die. He has witnessed the world slowly turn from a place of honor and discipline to one of foolish mercy. And through it all Black Adam has remained a proud and stern champion from another, more brutal age. Who does not hesitate to follow his own concepts of justice, whether or not they are in conflict with those of others. Black Adam takes a proactive, and decidedly bloody, approach to fighting what he sees as injustice.

More recently Adam was once again able to find love, this time in the form of a mortal woman brought to him by human slavers during the time at which he ruled  Kahndaq. After killing said slavers Adam offered the woman, Adrianna, sanctuary. Over time both Adrianna was able to slowly change Adam from a man of rage and violence to someone more fitting with the modern image of a hero. And Adam fell in love with Adrianna, using his power and knowledge to bestow upon her the powers of Isis.

But this was not to be. Working for the Chinese government, a group of geniuses know as the science squad created Four all powerful beings named  The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. These beings, with the aid of the Bialyan government succeeded in attacking Adam's new family and killing Isis and her brother Osiris. Adam's lover's last dying words to him were to seek vengeance for their destroyed family. An enraged Adam who's powers are now also bolstered by those of Isis managed to three of the Horsemen, with Death fleeing. Black Adam tracked Death to Bialya, whose government has participated in this attack on the Black Marvels. And tortured Death until he revealed all he knew of the plot, then in a fit of Luciferian rage, killed every citizen of Bialya.

Black Adam's quest for revenge too him to China where he singlehandedly slayed the most powerful superhumans in China before finally being stopped by combined the efforts of multiple Green Lantern's, Firestorm, Supergirl, th Martian Manhunter, the Marvel family, the Teen Titans, the JSA, and many others. Acting in concert with other powerful magic-users, Captain Marvel was able to transform Adam to his mortal form and change Adam's 'Word' so that Adam could not regain his link to the Egyptian pantheon that empowers him. Captain Marvel claimed it was a word Adam would never guess.

As a result, during the invasion Black Adam was absent entirely, as he was still attempting to discover his 'Word.' Several days after the invasion was repulsed Black Adam finally discovered his 'Word' after wandering through Captain Marvel's home town and simply repeating every single word he read there until he came across 'Chocolate Egg Cream' which was what Captain Marvel changed the 'Word' to.
Activity: Since regaining his powers Black Adam has gone into hiding, having been ousted from his ruler ship of Kahndaq, and denied his full revenge he still fumes over the events which befell his second family and plots how best to extract vengeance on all those he believes to be responsible. He has also through great effort managed to change his 'Word' back to Shazam.

Mr Self Destruct

That works for me.  I've always liked Booster Gold, and have thought that if he'd take his superhero career more seriously, he could be a very effective hero.  The darker, more serious tone would be a good play on his character, though I can see Superman's return not thrilling him very much.

Urbanzorro

That's my idea. In Kingdom Come Superman and Magog are about a hair away from fighting each other for quite a good portion of the story.  I figure the same kind of tension would be fun/spice up the story even more than it already is ;D.

Hello,

I was wondering if I would be able to join in on this as well?

For my hero I was thinking Connor Hawke ?  even if there is a green arrow already would that be okay? If not maybe Animal Man?

For my villain I was thinking maybe Sun Girl or perhaps Professor Zoom?

Antioch

Have you received your Green Lantern yet? If not I would likely play him for you :).....

PearlRuby

I'll be posting Hawkgirl's bio soon enough. Still undecided about my villain though >.< A bit torn between Harley Quinn and The Riddler actually.

Who is officially going to be GMing this RP?

@Antioch: No one has claimed him, but I think loislanekent decided that the Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) is dead which sparks off the seperation of the JL. So you'd have to pick one of the others ^.^

Not really the ring and its powers with the lantern would just go to a new champion, likely the former Green Lantern would have issued the formal last command to the ring to find a worthy replacement. So there could be a new inexperienced Green Lantern.

Antioch

Well see that was what I was thinking kind of waiting to see what loislanekent thinks.

Urbanzorro

Alternately the Guardians could dispatch a new Lantern from another area of space. Perhaps someone meaner/stricter/more aggressive in response to the fact that the 'nice guy' lantern was killed

Well the ring could go back to them assuming the Green Lantern died before he could give such a final command we are talking Darkseid here not a minor opponent then it would go to someone training or favored to take the ring.
