Group RP Based on Lora Leigh's Breed Series

The Genetics Council has spent the last 100 years doing anything they please. All over the world secret labs exist where mad scientist have been set loose to do anything they please, no matter the pain or horror they might bring to others. One such lab has lost their prisoners, their experiments. Creatures torn between the world of man and the wild of the animal kingdom. Born in labs and treated as less than human from the instant they were born, these breeds are wild and dangerous though fiercely loyal and in many ways more human than the men who abused them from birth.

In 1954 an underground lab was opened in rural Colorado and since that time literally hundreds of innocent beings have been tortured and killed. Only the strongest and most determined survived the Genetics Council's Breed Program. Those that proved thereselves "worthy" were trained to be killers, half man/half beast, totally dangerous. One male in particular proved to be the strongest, the most intelligent, and the most deadly. Years of planning went on but eventually this leader found a way to free as many of his fellow Pride as possible.

Now out in the world these creatures are learning to exist in the world of man, though always looking over their shoulders for those who hunt them down. What happens however when nature decides to intervene and welcome the Breeds into her arms? What happens when the finally free Breeds are confronted with something they cannot fight, kill, or run from? What happens when they mate?


I figure this should begin with about eight to 10 players. Having a couple bad guys trying to kill them or capture them would be cool but that may make the game to large.. Opinions? Of course that might not be reasonable so we will see what the interest is in this.

Choose which breed you want to be:  Mountain Lion, Jaguar, Panther, Leopard, etc.

Of course we need the Pride Leader(I figure he is a Lion Breed?)
   Naturally he will require a human female mate, which is what I will want to play.

Say 2 more male feline breeds and their human female mates. ( 4 )

And at least 1 if not 2 female feline breeds and their human male mates. ( 2 or 4 )

[It should be noted that the mating of the various couples is a huge part of this RP. If your not familar with Lora Leigh's books I can fill you in. The mating heat is almost like a mating frenzy and those that will play feline breeds or other breeds should remember that their characters sexuality will be almost totally animalistic.

In the books the couples become dependent on one another and the sexual organs of the breeds are very much like animal organs.]

If anyone would prefer to play a Wolf Breed that could be easily acceptable, though I imagine the wolves would not want to follow a Lion Pride Leader. LOL

What kind of information are you looking for? I would be glad to answer your questions.

I've got two main ones. The first concerns the extent of the Breeds' transformations, and the second is what the mates would know of their history and such.

For the most part the Breed's transformations are inward. Heightened smell, sight, hearing, and strength. Outwardly they appear human, though they would definitly be a LITTLE different. Thicker hair, stronger, and much healthier I would think.
Sexually any feline males would have the same sexual characteristics as a regular male feline, namely a barbed penis.
Their teeth would also be slightly sharper and more to a point.

The mates would start out not knowing any difference but it would swiftly change. The pheremones and saliva exchanges would initiate a mating frenzy causing both to need each other. In the books a simple bite with saliva exchange can begin this process or even a passionate kiss.

For the female feline breeds their sexual organs would be normal except for the odvious sexual drive of a feline and the walls ability to clamp down and hold the mate inside.

Talent(s): Has an incredibly acute memory, and can be dedicated and intelligent.
Extra: A nurse by profession, Sam is a smart, adept man with a good work ethic. He's a good person, and overall he finds himself intrigued by any oddity in the world.
Description: At 6'1” and 183 lb.s, Sam projects as a tall, lean man. He has a mop of brown hair, often kept messy from his own choosing. He swims and jogs regularly to keep a firm shape.

I think its my favorite erotica series. Lora leigh's sex scene's are self combustive and breed is just wild. So who gets to be who's mate? Would that be decided once all the player's are in?

No alot of difference in the breeds mentally except that they have very very powerful animal instincts especially with their mates.

Only difference I would think would be the sexual organs, instead of the barbed penis the male wolf would have the swelling in the penis. The "knotting" so to speak. Otherwise their physical and mental differences would be quite similar.

Is it just feline breeds?

Well it could be another breed such as wolf, coyote, even a winged breed is part of the series. I am wanting the escaped breeds to be close like a Pride would be, like a family. It would make sense that they are all feline breeds coming from the same lab but if someone wants to play another breed we can certainly look into it.

Having a breed that is not exactly fitting in with the felines would be a good storyline. So feel free to explore your imagination!

Flaw(s): Recklessness and grace - Unlike his breed, Thomas' fighting style is more to charge in and knock heads together. He can be clumsy sometimes, and takes snap directions poorly.
Talent(s): Leading by example, speed, strength - Though clumsy, when he chooses a direction to move in he does it without hesitation. It takes him longer to arrive at a decision but he will always be the first to carry it out. His physical strength is impressive, which helps keep him from being hurt more often.
Extra: Thomas was trained as a fighter first and a thinker second, the perfect line soldier. Some of his instinctual heritage has taken over and he has begun to reassert himself as an Alpha male.

Personality:   When Yoda said, "Do or do not do, there is no try," he might have spoken of Harlan.  When Harlan is at rest, his mind quietly contemplates that which intrests him while his powerful body ocaisionaly tenses to keep it's tone.  When Harlan chooses to move, observes think he is already in action by the time the choice has been made, so smooth and decisive is the implimentation. 

Likes:      Harlan enjoys an active intilectual and physical life.  He reads books from many eras, cultures, and genres, and gets as much out of talking about them as he does out of the reading.  He coresponded with professors at West Point and University of Texas, El Paso as he got ahead of his local instructors. 
         Though not entirly comfortable with the fetish for dominating human women he dreams about, he knowes he's going to act on it and has no intention of hesitating when he does.

         Laziness and Insubordination from those under his protection in that order.

Name- Tansy Mathison

Bio.- Tansy is a reporter/journalist who was one of the first to report on the existence of The Breeds, with their consent, of course.   She was one of a very select few chosen mainly because of her reputation as a fair and honest reporter, to act as a "first-point of contact" anytime The Breeds made headlines- which was quite often.  As such, she has (Supervised) access to the Pack leaders as well as the Breed compounds in which security is extremely tight. 


      Tansy lost her parents at the age of 12 and was tossed around from foster home to foster home until the age of 17 when
   she applied for and was granted a full scholarship to UCLA school of journalism.  She waited tables and did some small time modeling and acting jobs to cover living expenses etc..  It was hard and she went without alot during those years but she prevailed and graduated with honors.  She then did an internship for a mid sized newspaper where she accumulated
extensive experience and eventually started to make a name for herself.  A year later, she was offered and accepted a position at one of the largest news companies in the US where she was noticed by The leader of The Breeds-  ( who were at the time still unknown to society) and the rest, as they say, is history.

Extra:  As both the youngest and the smallest of the pride, Bobbi has struggled from day one to show she's just as capable as everyone else.
Description:    5'3" and 110, Bobbi has a slight frame that makes her seem much weaker than she really is.  In truth, every pound that's on her is optimally used, allowing her to keep up with her bigger pride mates.  Her dark hair is cut short to keep it out of the way, but that allows her troublesome colic to make it spikey,  She fights against that, and tries to make it lay flat, but it's a losing battle.

Bio./Info.-  Darcy is a veterinarian who has been fascinated with the announcement of the Breeds and would love the opportunity to work with them to study their similarities with their animal counterparts.  Yet, there are scientists out there who would love the same chance but for nefarious purposes,  yet distinguishing between the two- those who would use and abuse them and those  who only wish to learn more in order to understand their unique place in the world and aid them in it( like herself) , is extremely difficult.

  She is, by nature,  a fierce animal lover (obviously :)  ) and has strict moral guidelines in which she adheres to.  She is not one to bow under pressure from anyone least of all those who act against her belief that every single living thing on this earth is precious and just as important as any other regardless of their DNA makeup.  She has a stubborn streak a mile wide which, along with her sarcastic mouth ( especially against those in high political or powerful positions) has landed her in trouble more times than she can count.

Bio./Info.-  Celise is a caseworker- she works with children who are abused and neglected. She was raised in a very loving home. Her parents doted on her and her brother. They made a decent wage and their home was well kept until tragedy struck. Her parents were killed in a car crash with her brother when she was 17- only 2 years ago.
She was lost for a while- her life in shambles until slowly, she pieced it back together.

Celise has a soft heart and often takes in strangers and strays. It is one of her most endearing qualities and biggest weakness: she can easily be taken advantage of ..and has been. She is fiercely loyal. Although she is a small woman, if anyone attacks those she cares for or loves, she will fight back with everything she has. She can be somewhat stubborn but otherwise is easy to be around and get along with. She will mate for life- she only gives her love to one male. She appears to be shy to those who meet her but behind closed doors she is intensely passionate and loving.

Flaw(s):         Compasion and inexperience conspire to make a man who'se greatest weapon is speed, hesitate.  In familial arguemnts, he would like to be a peacemaker, but observes to see if people can still work things out when he should step between them, steps between them when he should be pulling them off of each other, and pulls them off of each other when he should throw the scratching balls of fury into an icy cold lake to cool off.  He has similar hesistation issues with enemies.  There are two physical solutions to situations he is comfortable administering, kill it or tickle it into submision.  If one of those isn't clearly the aplicacable solution, he hesitates.

Just a little update for the day!

Since tomorrow is a big day off I figure I will shoot for making the opening threads Tuesday.

I will be making the RP in Non-Consensual Exotic since some of the interaction between mates may be fights in the beginning. Just imagine how things are in the true animal kingdom and you can figure some difficulties will arise among the couples.

My plan is to make an opening post about how the Breeds escaped and what they have been doing since. I think I will have them on the outside for about one year. For each couple I think it would be best for them to decide how they each want to meet and what they want to occur.

As a beginning I think each of them have NOT yet discovered they are mates, meaning nobody has had any physical contact or romantic contact though some may know each other already.

Like my character Gigi that I just posted, I am thinking that the Breeds will know of her, maybe even have met her and do not trust her.

So I think each couple should get together and discuss how they want the story to develop between them.

Does that make sense?

Yes the Breeds will be together, they will have been raised in the labs together and view each other as family even if they are not related. If certain of ya'll want your characters to be related that is cool. Once escaped from the labs they will have stuck together and be very loyal to each other. I figure the lone wolf in the group will be cool, he was raised with them in the lab and stayed even if it is a bit uncomfortable since he is loyal.

 It is more of a "first sight thing" - or more instinctual , kind of like a "Mine" moment for the breed- then there is the fact that the Breed's release whats called a mating hormone from a gland beneath their tongue, ( which only produces the mating hormone in the presence of their mate) and once they kiss and the hormone enters their mate, it produces a type of extreme lust and need to mate kind of like an aphrodesiac ( sp?) it also makes ( especially for the women) them unable to tolerate the touch of another male-

Something i need to know, what kind fo place are we running away from?  I have an idea of what was done to us there, but not what we did there, and thus what they got from it. 

I would assume that a semi-secret project to make people with a predators capacity to deal with violence, the heightened senses of a predator, and certain degree of superhuman physicality was producing soliders.  If i'm correct, who did they expect us to fight for, and have we done any of it before?

So the oldest Breed is Harlan at 33 and the youngest is Roberta at 20.  (She was 19 when we escaped from the compound.) 

The oldest mate so far is Sam Marcus at 29 (destined for Roberta at 20 ^_^) and the youngest is Celise Rosa at 19.  Fun spread! 

Some things I'd like to know: 
   What year is it?  If there isn't a definative year, is the technology recognizable as present day? 
   These scientists are multinational, who do they make us for?  How does it profit them?  Who have they had me kill?  Have they set me on south american drug cartels, or the people who try to sell diamonds in competition with De'beers, or did i fight in Dester Storm?

Until LS peeps in, I though I'd give some input- as far as any actual fighting as soldiers- the Breeds never got that far from the scientists.   Meaning, that the scientists who bred them in the labs still hadn't finished their testing on the Breeds ( in all areas such as Savagery, Strength, cunning, agility, etc.. ) and as they found that the Breeds indeed inherited things like compassion, empathy, etc.. ( which was considered defective and therefore failures) from their human DNA- they worked diligently to "correct" the problems with future Breeds- thus making them "marketable" or "sellable" to the highest bidder( which was intended to include governments, armies, etc..)

Hey all! Been resting mostly today and thought I would check in.

I think as far as a main plot issue going on for the group, mainly staying alive and away from the enemy. I will NPC the villain element, basically the scientist and government (not the main government but an outside entity) trying to take back the Breeds, which they do not consider as having any rights or humanity. Trying to find a way to survive and fit in the world is the main storyline for this RP.

In my mind the Breeds have trained firm birth to fight, kill, and work undercover. Each have their own special abilities and backstory, as to where they have fought and what they have done. It would not be off track for some of them to have been on missions for the government and other such agencies. The entire lives of the Breeds have been about battle, war, strength, and stamina.

The year is 2025, I figure that is enough in the future for it to make sense that the Breeds have been discovered. The scientist are basically working for the Genetics Council who is loyal to no country, though the USA likes to think it has the control of them. The Breeds have worked for the US in many operations though each of you should decide for your own character if that is so, it would not be off track for one of your characters to never have been out of the lab before escaping.  The world around us is pretty much as it is now, except for the fact that everyone now knows of the Breeds and science is a little more advanced.

It sounds like it's a first sight thing that gets worst as the pheromones start kicking in to become more of a need and ache. Based on a book series by Lora Leigh, the Breeds are about human/animal hybrids and their intended mates.

Summery of the story thus far:

Harlan, the Leader of the Breeds found his mate when he met Tyler, a reporter coming to interview him at the compound. Thomas, the Head of Security and 2nd in Command found his mate when he met Tansy, another reporter coming with Tyler to interview Harlan. Caleb, a Lion Breed discovered his mate was a Genetics Council scientist who they had always thought to be evil, her name is Gigi. Come to find out she was in fact a great supporter of the Breeds and had spent years aiding many to escape from labs in Russia where she worked. Bobbi, a female Lynx Breed stumbled across a man when she fell from a tree, this man was her mate. His name is Sam and when he drove her home to the compound things got much more complicated than he ever expected! Neva Winters, a Snow Leopard breed knew for quite a long time who her mate was, he was none other than John, the lab tech who had helped them all escape almost a year before. She had spent great amounts of time and energy avoiding him, knowing what mating could lead to. When she was shot in the park and brought back to the compound near death, John decided enough was enough and claimed her for his own. Adrian was also in the park when Neva was shot and that is where he met his mate quite by accident. A sweet girl who was caught in a mugging, her name was Haily and Adrian took one look and fell for her totally.

All the Breeds converged at the compound and realized something was not right, why were so many of them suddenly finding mates and losing themselves and their precious control to the "mating heat"? Little did they know.....

The Genetics Council allowed Gigi Donovan to "escape", knowing she would run to the Compound in Colorado. They knew she was Caleb's mate and counted on them falling into mating heat. They also arranged for Tyler and Tansy to get interviews, knowing they were Harlan and Thomas' mates. Adrian meeting Haily was simply a happy accident but Bobbi and Sam were going to be brought together by the council soon, though her falling from the tree turned out to work in their favor. The council knew Neva and John were mates, though they were not sure how long it would be until they both gave in to their desires. The council wanted the Breeds to be distracted by so many falling into the "mating urge" so that they could storm the compound and recapture their lab rats.

Currently the Genetics Council has in place several Breed betrayers who are to help a strike team of Coyote warriors enter the compound and take the Breeds and their mates captive. They have been instructed to kill none, only take prisoners as the council wants the Breeds alive for breeding and experimental purposes.

Unfortunately a certain Bengel Breed named Jasper decided that some of the Breeds would indeed die this night. Jasper the main betrayer, has just killed both Harlan, the Breeds Leader, and Adrian, along with both their mates, Tyler and Haily.

This is where our story is now.

Group RP Based on Lora Leigh's Breed Series

The Genetics Council has spent the last 100 years doing anything they please. All over the world secret labs exist where mad scientist have been set loose to do anything they please, no matter the pain or horror they might bring to others. One such lab has lost their prisoners, their experiments. Creatures torn between the world of man and the wild of the animal kingdom. Born in labs and treated as less than human from the instant they were born, these breeds are wild and dangerous though fiercely loyal and in many ways more human than the men who abused them from birth.

In 1954 an underground lab was opened in rural Colorado and since that time literally hundreds of innocent beings have been tortured and killed. Only the strongest and most determined survived the Genetics Council's Breed Program. Those that proved thereselves "worthy" were trained to be killers, half man/half beast, totally dangerous. One male in particular proved to be the strongest, the most intelligent, and the most deadly. Years of planning went on but eventually this leader found a way to free as many of his fellow Pride as possible.

Now out in the world these creatures are learning to exist in the world of man, though always looking over their shoulders for those who hunt them down. What happens however when nature decides to intervene and welcome the Breeds into her arms? What happens when the finally free Breeds are confronted with something they cannot fight, kill, or run from? What happens when they mate?


It should be noted that the mating of the various couples is a huge part of this RP. If your not familiar with Lora Leigh's books I can fill you in. The mating heat is almost like a mating frenzy and those that will play feline breeds or other breeds should remember that their characters sexuality will be almost totally animalistic.

In the books the couples become dependent on one another and the sexual organs of the breeds are very much like animal organs.
