Still working on my guy, almost done though ;D

That having been said I'd say that one title right now is probably good enough. If numbers grow/later on maybe a tag team title would be the next one needed.

What I would do is make there be other titles but make them background events. Things the announcers are talking about as you come out to your match. That way there is already a sense of them being and you don't have to create new titles in game as more people show up. As for the board I'd go Bondage or Noncon - Human for the greatest freedom for storylines.

Primarch

Well yes there will be other titles "in the background" but from a game perspective we won't start off with 4 champions and a tag team champion duo. Its just not necessary with the numbers.

Crash

I may submit a female wrestler.  Any other one of the ladies want to go for the tag team title when Primarch releases it up for grabs?

I'm thinking a New Blood.

Played by: Darkcide
Stage Name:Trent Rollins
Age: 28
Sex: Male
Height:6'2"
Weight: 250 Lbs
Hometown:Chicago, IL
Alignment: Face/Tweener
Gimmick: Originally got over in the Indies, and was a star in Japan. Charismatic, brash and resilient. His trash talk is a big part of his appeal, as is his aggressive and MMA inspired moveset. He comes off as a larger than life punk icon who has proven to be an edgier alternative to the squeaky clean baby faces. Still firmly a face, even with his frequent shoot promos and heelish tactics at times. A huge draw, but he also doesn't really endear himself to promoters for his outspoken nature.
Style:  Hybrid Striker/Technical
Signature Move(s):
Trendkill - A modified Crippler-Crossface, typically follows after a Judgment Slam.
K.T.K - Flying single leg high knee, sometimes done from an elevated position.
Succession of Thai-style leg kicks followed by a rolling heel hook.
Thai-Clinch leading into elbows and knees, followed by a flying Gogoplata

Trademark Taunt: Interlocked fingered wrist rolling.
Theme Music: Pool of Booze, Booze, Booze by Volbeat.

Technique: 5x/10

Okay. Your original post wasn't clear on that. Cool.

Played by: Urbanzorro
Stage Name: El Toro
Age: 23
Sex: Male
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 190lbs
Hometown:Mexico City, Mexico
Alignment: Face/Tweener
Gimmick: Having previously competed in several Mexican/Latin American Lucha Libre federations his gimmick in the United States is that of an exotic & and unusual take on the sport. His moves play heavily on the emphasis that Lucha Libre places on high flying attacks and acrobatics. While his persona in the ring plays off the standard character tropes for a Luchador. No one seems to know his name or who he is under his mask, which he never appears out of when in public, and he is both gracious to the fans and relatively respectful of his opponents. Despite the fact that he started his career as a heel in Lucha Libre he has been cast as a face leaning tweener in America.
Style:  Hybrid (Acrobat/Striker/Speedster)
Signature Move(s):
Tiger feint kick
Diving Bulldog
Diving DDT
Trademark Taunt: The Skroob Salute
Theme Music: The Black & Silver - Blue Oyster Cult
Attributes
Durability: 6/10
Strength: 6/10
Technique: 6/10
Submission: 3/10
Speed/Aerial: 10/10
Stamina: 8/10

*Kicks door to thread open* Ooh OHH pick me! I have an Invader character, I just gotta make it fit your format.
I apparently insulted Dicebot's mother, and it still remembers... you've been warned...
Mainly missing on Tuesdays, sorry.

The Invaders appear to be significantly more popular. We're going to need more Old Guard to keep it balanced, or rejig how things will pan out for the sake of a balanced game.

Played by: Tyr4n02r
Stage Name: Jack Frostic
Age: 23
Sex: M
Height: 5'11
Weight:185
Hometown: Wintergreen, VA
Alignment: Heel
Faction: New Blood
Gimmick: Physical: Mild tan, ice blue-dyed shaggy hair, slim face.
Ring Attire: Black and blue full-length tights with blue accents, with matching boots and fingerless gloves. Likes to wear sunglasses and throws them to the crowd.
Personality: Snarky with all forms of paparazzi, confident, comical in presentations, playboy mentality. Uses a crap-ton of strikes, heel tactics and parts of the arena to compensate for small build. Struggles picking up those 235 and heavier, but can do it if opponent is weak enough, or has momentum.

History: From a young age, Jack Frostic always looked to wrestling to escape his life. Growing up in a poor neighborhood, always getting kicked around, picked last for sports, you know the drill. But in WRESTLING, it was the little guys who got over, showing that it was all about skill, not just size. While he couldn't always outfight his attackers, he learned to outwit them, talking trash to throw them off their game. But more importantly, he always could outspeed them.
Graduating high school at the average age of 18, he chose to study wrestling in a dojo in the rural outskirts of Kyoto, Japan. After about two years of martial arts and technical training, the dojo began sponsoring its own wrestling competitions, allowing the students to test their skills in a public setting. He fared very well, enough to get attention from various onlookers in the local area. With all of his success going to his head, the ladies in the area, enamored with such an exotic and attractive Jack, began calling him "Frost" at events, because he was too cool for the dojo. One night, he agreed to slip out of the dojo for a night on the town, his FIRST EVER since making it to Japan. He fell in love with the culture, the lights, the fame, the fun, the fornication. The high life that he never could obtain at home.
This is what he wanted, no one was going to stop his rise into the history books of wresting. Focusing on image and fanfare, he began to use various underhanded moves to get by, whatever it took in ring to keep him on top. Forgoing his discipline for flashy maneuvers, his in ring style became a combination of agile moves, swift strikes and moves with fanfare. Adding technical marvels to his moves as well, mainly to impress an audience, he also added submissions to nail in the fact that HE was the best. He knew it, now the world just has to catch up to HIM. But, there's nothing wrong with picking a up a couple chicks on the way top the top, huh?

Style: Hybrid (Focused on PuroResu and Acrobatic)

Signature Move(s) Finishers: "Tip of the Iceberg" , Out Cold
Signatures: Samoan Drop, Step-up Enziguri, Full Nelson, Lionsault/Asai Moonsault
Common Moves: Various arm bars (Cross, Standing,) various dropkicks (Running, Missile, Turnbuckle,) kick combos, forearm strikes, Various Suplexes (ONLY if he can pick them up! Vertical/Snap, Inverted, German, Superplex, Fisherman) Reverse DDT, Various Hurracanranas/Dragonrana, various rollups, Calf Crusher, Dragon Sleeper, Front Face Guillotine, Rolling Leg Lock
Cheating: >:) ::) Mule Kick Low Blow, Eye Poke, various leg chokes, Tarantula

Trademark Taunts: Catchphrases: "I'm here for one thing, and that's the bling! And I'll stop, just as soon as Hell freezes overI'm as cold as ice, and twice as nice. If you like what you saw today, keep watchin' 'cause that's just the tip of the iceberg." ~ Jack Frost's catchphrases.
Taunt: Diamond with his two hands, sometimes pointing it at the opponent as if he is aiming.

Theme Music: "Ice" - Kaskade and Dada Life

Entrance:
"I'm Ice!"
As the chorus of "Ice" by Kaskade plays, a series of blue, ice blue, and white spotlights creates a terrific lightshow around the arena!
Fog begins to spray from beneath the top of the ramp.
As the various spotlights swiftly point to the entrance, Jack Frostic busts through the light fog, making various motions to the camera as he makes his way to the ring
wearing his black and blue tights and gloves with blue sunglasses. He runs his hand through his ice blue hair. He has an arrogant smirk as he proceeds down the ramp.
Entering the ring through the second rung, he hops onto the turnbuckle, making his signature "diamond" hand sign, then tosses his sunglasses to a swooning female fan out in the crowd.

Hey Tyr, the number of spoiler tags you're making use has left the CS a bit erratic, if you could clean it up and get a real/live action PB it would be great. Cheers.

On another note I shall be setting up the dedicated Character thread & OOC thread today. We'll go with the Non-Con board for "general freedom" of what to include. So you can all feel free to work things out among yourself if you want to plot things out within the confines of that.

If anyone's sheet doesn't make it clear which faction they are a part of I would appreciate it if you could make it known, need to know the numbers.

xPeachyPuff

If anybody has a character from the older group of wrestlers that would like MC to be their escort (in any fashion) at the start of the game, please feel free to PM me!

A suggestion (Should the game get too New Blood heavy, which it seems to be:) Have the entrance of the New Blood be a point of contention, but then perhaps the faces would try to get in the good graces of the Old Guard, or choose to go it alone, or simply let their in-ring skill get them to the top, rather than directly participate in Old vs New.

Also, any ways that matches are to be determined? Round/post length?

Character thread here
You may notice I have added "Faction" to the template just below alignment, this is just to include if your character is a part of the Old Guard, New Blood or Staff. Please include it so I know for certain where everyone should be and our numbers.

Approved:
Nikki Dixon
Robert Rich
War
Chloe Faye
Trent Rollins
El Toro

Awaiting Edits:

Well if there's only one Heavyweight title and multiple New Blood options to go after it, they'll likely have to fight between themselves to get the chance. We'll work out something.

As for how matches will be decided, being an RP I would hope people can plot things out to create the most interesting story, failing that I'll get involved to work out something to move forward.

#41

Played by: Ascia
Stage Name: Samantha 'Sam' Crane
Age: 25 years old
Sex: Female
Height: 5'10
Weight: 145 lbs
Hometown: Savannah, Georgia
Alignment: Face
Faction: ASW Staff. Publicly supports New Blood, privately supports Old Guard.

Gimmick: Little Sam Crane has been around since her earliest years, always around her father or her mother, the woman a public face in the wrestling world next to her husband. Little Sam grew up behind the scenes, a fixture her entire life every summer on the circuit before returning home and to school. When she grew up a beautiful woman, and Vanderbilt MBA grad, in her own  right she would return to wrestling full time.

Initially a behind the scenes junior executive known only to hardcore wrestling fans and wrestling insiders, when her mother decided to bow out of the limelight it was a fully matured Samantha Crane that took her place. Rumor has it Sam isn't thrilled with her father's latest moves, rumors that seem curious given her father's decision to appoint her the New Bloods' General Manager.

Sam's primary attribute is her favorite status among fans; as she goes out of her way to cater to fans, and will spend all night signing autographs if that's what it takes. She is just as ruthless as her father, and no surprise to many behind the scenes there is talk Sam has developed an in ring gimmick that she is simply waiting for the right moment in order to reveal: the Goddess, a Greek goddess of war inspired persona.

Style:  Classic.
Signature Move(s): Death Valley Driver.
Trademark Taunt: "In your little dreams."
Theme Music: M.I.A., "Bad Girls"

Durability: 7/10
Strength: 5/10
Technique: 9/10
Submission: 5/10
Speed/Aerial: 7/10
Stamina: 6/10
Charisma: 10/10
Hardcore: 1/10

Jack Frostic and Sam Crane look good to go, feel free to post them into the Character thread.

On another note we need someone to start as the World Heavyweight Champion, anyone care to make the reigning Champion?

Ascia

If anyone wants to set up some sort of connection or narrative with Sam, just let me know. Given her position I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to conceive of something for everyone honestly. Thanks!

If nobody else wants to, I'll take it. That said, I think it would make more sense for one of the old guard to be holding the title at the start.

Primarch

Yes I think we'll keep it with the Old Guard at the start.

I will say that I am sort of interested.  If I were to join, would you mind a Diva that is a total rebel who will play by her own rules (except when directed by The Head of the Company)?

I am thinking that she would change her allegiances between the Old Guard and the New Guard on a whim in order to get what she really wants... the Women's Championship.

Apologies for the few days absence, but the OOC thread is now up and IC will be soon to follow. I've added links for both the Roster & OOC to the opening post. With nobody in the Old Guard after expressing an interest in being our starting Champion I'll make Victor the current Champion.

Well at the moment the only title in the game would be the World Heavyweight, others will hopefully come in if the game expands to the point of them being viable. That being said a rebel who plays by their own rules and switches faction on a whim sounds like they might be running their own angle too much to be contributing to the main overall plot which is something I want to avoid with the current roster being at the size it is. Well I expect we'll have some characters jumping faction but ideally that would be switching teams once, maybe twice if the game goes on long enough but someone doing it on a whim just sounds like it might cause more trouble than it would be worth.

Well... it was the first thought that came to my mind when I thought of the idea.  I sort of got the idea from the WWE with the "Wyatt Family" who was in their own agenda but as you mentioned, that gets thrown out eventually by 'The Powers That Be".

I'll see if I can come up with someone that is to my liking.  She would be attached to the New Guard for sure so I have to come up with some sort of angle for her.

Stay tuned!

Hey guys, I'm just getting back onto E after a long break and this game caught my eye. I've been reading through and at this point the game looks fairly balanced player wise between the old and new factions. My thought for a character would be something of a middle man not immediately associated with either faction (though we all know how quickly alliances form and break down in wrestling). How I would like to prose it is my character is an 'old' guard who was forced to retire in a big title match several years ago but due to the buyout of the new company which he developed a minor association with in the mean time he's able to renter the ASW again. Will he pick up old rivalries and help the new blood, or stand beside the company that once betrayed him to defend it from the rabble seeking to defile the belt he once held?

Of course I'm not saying he has to be 100% neutral or uncooperative, but I thought it would be an interesting starting point. Thoughts?
