Far From Home

A city girl inherits an old ranch.
She intends to sell it, but the manager has other ideas.
Two cultures clash when the girl spends some time down south to fulfil conditions in her grandfather's will, in order to receive full ownership.

Setting: Modern

Bridges

Two bands have a long standing rivalry, going back to high school garage era and possibly some teen angst betrayal and drama. They end up signed by the same label but the rivalry continues and is even encouraged to maintain a certain image and fanbase. The story begins after a member in one of the bands commits suicide and two others leave. One remaining member still devoted to music is pushed into the rival band, as a publicity stunt to divert focus from the suicide. If he wants to keep making music, he'll be doing it with his rivals or have lawyers on his ass for breach of contract.
Neither he nor the rival band are happy with this arrangement, but the story is about them discovering trust, respect, and more complicated things, learning to function despite all odds.

Theme: Drama, music, reluctant romance, M/M
