My character has had deep depression for years since high school and has dealt with many things in her life.  She has been in and out of foster homes since she was 10 and now she is 18 years old and living in a small one bedroom apartment across from the college she attends.  When people see her they think she is just an average girl studying for whatever but when at home she is someone who feels alone.  Her biological mother died when she was 8 years old from a drug overdose and her father was an alcoholic who ran off when she was born. Well now she has the same traits, she is addicted to pills and alcohol.

She finally realizes she needs help and looks for a local psychiatrist in her area, when she reads about this particular one she notices how many people recommend him.  So, after reading a few reviews she decides to give him a shot and when she begins having her weekly therapy sessions she starts having dreams about him.
