NightBorn

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful day, and if you're not, that your day gets better. I thought I would list some of my story ideas. See if I can lure someone into a non-adult role play. Any of these ideas could easily work in adult stories, but not until after I am approved of course. I love romance, so if we can put a little or a lot of romance in any of these stories, I'd be very happy! Doesn't have to be a 'mushy' romance (though as a romantic I'm not against mushy romances, pretty fond of them actually). My character in each story idea is female, and straight. I'm just more comfortable playing a straight female character. I need someone to role play a male character, doesn't matter to me if you are male or female so long as you are willing to play a straight male character for me. :D

Oh and I am flexible. Sometimes I can get too detailed with the story descriptions so just wanted you to know that I am willing to change these ideas so that it will be a story that we will both enjoy writing. And if you have any story idea's that you think I might be interested in, go ahead and tell me about them here, I might be interested in them.

Here's a few story ideas that were inspired by Chelemar's question to me in my introduction thread! Right now they are just vague idea's but maybe you can help me 'flesh' them out.

The Bucket List She had started the list when she was a little girl around ten. Fanciful things she wanted to do before she died. Go to Disney World. Travel to a foreign land. Visit a Ghost Town. Get horseback riding lessons from a real cowboy.  Those were just a few of the things she wanted to do. She added to the list over the years, as she got older the list changed. She had taken a few things off, like the visit to a ghost town, and the get horseback riding lessons from a real cowboy, had changed to 'Get horseback lessons from a Handsome cowboy' when she was 15. Added to the list when she was a teenager was stuff like: Go to the prom with Brad Jones, he was a geek, but she always thought he was cute. That wish never had a chance of coming true, before the prom his family had moved away. She never saw him again. Fall in love and get married before she was 25. That too didn't happen. Her 30th birthday found her still single, and she still hadn't fallen in love. Not the kind of love that she dreamed about when she was a teenager reading romance novel's. Those damn books should come with a warning label. Better yet, it should be against the law for stupid young girls to read romance novels. She remembered clearly playing hard to get didn't work for her as it had in  her favorite romance novel when she was a young girl with her first crush. Unlike the guy in romance book she'd been reading, Brad didn't pursue her when she pretended not to be interested in him. No, he'd moved on to another girl who didn't play hard to get. The list got rather long before it was forgotten. A very organized 'pack rat' it was stored with the rest of her memories of her youth, in a large cardboard box in her closet, hidden beneath winter blankets. But the funeral of her childhood best friend would cause her to remember. Jennifer Hansen, Jenny to her friends, also had a list of things she wanted to do before she died. The bucket list is what they had called it (short for kick the bucket). They had done almost everything together before Jenny too had moved away, including making their bucket lists together. After Jenn's family had moved away they had written for a while and then.. the letters stopped, and were replaced with postcards around birthday's, holidays, and occasionally for no reason at all, just to say hello. But even thoughs became fewer and fewer until they stopped altogether. When she received a letter from her childhood friend's husband, informing her that Jenn was dead, she went through a myriad of emotions. Disbelief, Jenn had always been so full of life, laughter and confidence that sometimes she had envied her, it had never occurred to her that Jen would ever die. She was just one of those wonderful people that she thought the world could not do without. But now she was dead. An accident, hit by a drunk driver. Of course the drunk had survived without even a scratch, but Jenn had died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. Abigail, Abby to friends and family, regretted not keeping in touch with her childhood friend. But more than that, Jenn's death had her thinking about her own mortality, they'd been the same age, 30. The first thing she did when she returned home, was to remove the cardboard box from her closet and go through those things that held so many memories. When she found her bucket list and read it, she smiled remembering the dreams she use to have, and how hopeful she use to be. Her life didn't turn out the way she'd thought it would when she was a teenage girl adding to the list she started when she was ten.

Woah! Didn't mean for this description to get this long. Basically, Abby (my character) decides to do the stuff on her bucket list (the ones that she can do) before she 'kicks the bucket'.

Much Needed Vacation Ever since she was a little girl, she wanted to go to a place called Dreamer's Island. It was an imaginary island that she visited in her imagination every time her grandmother read her a bedtime story. Full of fanciful creatures like the Pegasus, unicorns, merfolk, etc. Even when she grew to be a teenager her grandmother would tell her stories about the people and creatures who lived on Dreamer's Island. When she got to the age where she was what her mother termed 'boy crazy' her favorite stories were of the people and creatures that were more exciting, interesting, and even dangerous. The romance novels she read were all paranormal. She even wrote stories -that she never let anyone read- about romance with an exciting, charming and dangerous being or creature. The girl in her stories was her (of course), and the dark creature in her story, no matter if it was a werewolf, vampire, demon or half human and half something else, he'd always fall in love with her. Of course in her stories they always lived happily ever after. Before her grandmother's death just a couple days before Lynette's 18th birthday, her grandmother talked to her privately and told her that Dreams Island was a real place. Her grandmother told her it's real name, but it was difficult to pronounce.  Her grandmother told her that it existed on a 'different plane' whatever that meant, and that all the creatures she'd told her about over the years, including the dangerous ones, were all real, and that she'd lived there when she was young, but through the help of magic she'd left that world and had been living in this one ever since. And then her grandmother squeezed her hand tightly and begged Lynnette to leave their small town and not to come back, ever she asked why. Lynette's grandmother told her that one of the creatures from that world she'd told her stories about had found her. He was a dark being, like one of the creatures in her stories. When her grandmother told her that as soon as the creature that had visited her, had seen Lynette he had wanted to take Lynette back to his world with him, Lynnette just assumed that her grandmother was telling her one last story. Not wanting to disappoint her dying grandmother, she decided to play along, and asked her where she should run away to that would be safe. After her grandmother's death, she was surprised at the large amount of money her grandmother had left for her in her will. She also inherited her grandmother's books, books she'd never seen before. They were about the creatures in the stories she use to listen to and daydream about. But there were also 'spell' books. She never knew that her grandmother dabbled in the occult, but the books were proof. For a brief, very brief, moment Lyn wondered if those stories her grandmother had told her were in fact true. But then she came back to her senses, of course they weren't true. They couldn't be. Her grandmother had made her promise to change her name and move. She'd kept half of the promise. She hated the small town she grew up in, not exciting enough, so after her eighteenth birthday, with the help of her grandmother's money that she inherited, she bought a place in the city and moved there. BUT she didn't change her name. Doing that would have hurt her parents, and she'd rather cut her right arm off than do that. Years past and life in the city was horribly expensive, and in no time she'd gone through most of her grandmother's inheritance so that she had to take two jobs in order to afford her large apartment that she loved. Her jobs? She was a teacher in a private school, and she worked as a waitress at one of the popular nightclubs that also has a hotel and a casino. The tips were great, they were the only reason she put up with the pinching and the being hit on from men who dressed in expensive Armani suits, but who'd never done a hard day's work in their life. One of the bouncers who could intimidate with just a look, had befriended her. On more than one occasion he'd 'helped' her out with the guys who wouldn't leave her alone after she'd politely asked them to. True it was part of his job to make sure that the waitresses who worked there were safe, but for a reason she didn't know, he always seemed to be rougher on the guys who were reluctant to leave her alone. He was attractive, but also very scary looking and intimidating, especially when angry. He was very tall and had a large build (muscle not fat). He had a dangerous 'air' about him so that when she'd first started working there she avoided him, or had tried to, but seeing that they both worked in the same nightclub, it was impossible to avoid him completely. But after a couple of months they had become very close friends. In fact Lynnette would call him her best friend. When she was trying to decide on a place to go on her vacation, he told her about an island that he'd grown up on that sounded to her like the perfect place for a vacation. He'd talked her into letting him make all the arrangements for her two week vacation. It wasn't until she was in the car with him that she found out that he was going with her to the island. (She had thought that he was just going to drop her off at the airport.) What she didn't know was that her bouncer 'best friend' was the dark creature that her grandmother had warned her about, the one that wanted to take her to his world. That place that Lynnette had thought her grandmother had made up. She wasn't at all tired when she'd gotten into his car, but within minutes she was sound asleep. When she woke she was in an exotic and beautiful place that she didn't recognize, it was dark but there was a full moon in the sky and bright stars. Her best friend was there, lying on his side next to her, but he looked different. He resembled one of the sketches of one of the dark creatures in her grandmother's book.

Need someone to role play her 'best friend' who isn't really human. His race is one of the dark creatures in her grandmother's stories. I'm thinking demon, but that's really up to you since you'd be the one playing him. Whatever dark creature you decide to make him, I'd like him to be both attractive and scary or dangerous looking. His world is exotic and beautiful, but dangerous, and I was thinking he could be the ruler of that world. No matter what we decide, I want this story to be romantic.

Secluded Cabin in the Woods Ann-Marie had had enough. Ever since her parents death, she'd taken care of her younger brother and sister as if they were her children. As the oldest, she'd felt it was her job. From a young age she'd taken care of them and the small house, while other girls her age were having fun dating and going to parties, she was taking care of them. After her parents had died they'd moved in with their aunt and uncle, but it was really her that had taken care of them. Even after they were adults her brother and sister came to her with their problems. Expecting her to fix all of their problems for them. And money.. any time either of them would get behind in payments or make a stupid, costly mistake they came to her with their hands out. Not to mention that she was her sister's baby-sitter. And if Ann-Marie started to say no, her sister would somehow make her feel guilty for it. But could she go to them with her financial or personal problems? Of course not. They didn't want to hear it. One time, just one time she'd made the mistake in confiding her worries to her sister and her sister told her straight out to shut up, that she was sick and tired of hearing her complain all the time. Ann-Marie was shocked, she never complained to either of them about her life, had never asked them for money, though she was struggling to pay her bills, and had never come to either of them with her problems. But the first time she turned to her sister for some advice, her sister snaps her head off. To make a bad day a hundred times worse, her boss informed her that the only way she was going to get the promotion she's been working her butt off for was if she slept with him. He hadn't come right out and said it, it was implied. She had responded by quitting her job. Ann-Marie couldn't afford to quit her job, not with the pile of bills, but yet she'd done it. She'd had enough and before she could stop herself the words 'You can take this job and the promotion and shove it up your..' well it was probably best if she didn't think too hard on it. But her break down hadn't ended with her quitting her job just hours after starting the work day. After cleaning out her desk, she'd gone straight to the bank and emptied her account. Then she'd gone home and packed everything she could fit into her car, gassed it up and then started driving. At the time she didn't know where she was going, nor did she care. She just had to get away from everyone and everything that was her miserable life. An hour later she recognized the route she'd chosen to take. And remembered a cabin in the deep dark woods that her parents use to take her to when she was a young child, before her brother and sister were born (she's ten year's older than them). Hoping that the cabin was still there and that it was still livable, she drove three hours to get there. By the time she arrived it was after midnight, and the trees sheilded the sky from her view making the night even darker.

In this story I have the beginning all thought out, she ran away from her life, escaping to a place she has fond memories of, the cabin in the woods. Need your help to flesh out this story even more. This is all I have right now, but may add more story ideas later.

olderstud58

I am interested in a role-play around the "secluded cabin in the woods"  I am not approved yet, but hopefully soon.

NightBorn

I haven't been approved yet either, but hopefully soon. I'm glad you're interested in the one about the cabin in the woods, but I need your help to flesh it out. Do you have any ideas? Ann hasn't been to the cabin in sevral years, not since she was a child, maybe he lives there now? Don't forget, we have to keep the story non-adult.

Hiding In Emotions

If you're still interested I think the Much Needed Vacation sounds fun.

NightBorn

I'm definately still interested! :D

Hiding In Emotions

Well first I have a thing for vampires so I'd really like it if I could do that. Sorry I just can't think of a character for a romantic demon either to be honest.

NightBorn

That's okay, he's your character. Besides I'm a fan of vampires, so if you want him to be a romantic vampire that's cool with me. :)

Hiding In Emotions

Cool is there anything else you want set in stone then or do you just want to see where it goes?

NightBorn

Nope, I'm happy just seeing where it goes. :D But if you want to go a certain way, tell me. This should be a story we both enjoy writing. :D

Hiding In Emotions

Oh I'll enjoy it with what you've set it sounds like fun :) Now I'm guessing we're ment to start somewhere else though? Sorry I'm still learning my way around the place.

NightBorn

That's okay! I'm new here too!! There is a forum for Non-Adult roleplays in the drop down menu. That's probably where we should post it. I think this forum is only to advertise for writing partners for non-adult role plays.

Hehe I'm approved now! :D

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, last few day I've been busier than usual. Tomorrow I have an appointment to look at a house. But If you are still interested in writing with me, I will be able to start writing late tomorrow afternoon or evening.

:D
