"𝔽𝕠𝕣 𝕋𝕣𝕦𝕥𝕙, 𝕁𝕦𝕤𝕥𝕚𝕔𝕖 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕒 𝔹𝕖𝕥𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝕋𝕠𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕣𝕠𝕨"

What would you get if you combined Harry Potter, The Boys and Saved By the Bell? Let's find out, shall we? DCendents is a sandbox game, exploring the decedents of the heroes and villains we all know and love. Set in a university for the training of exceptional students, our story revolves around these new characters discovering their place in the world. Upon turning eighteen, all powered individuals enroll in Wayne Academy, where there are guided by experienced staff to craft their trade and learn responsibility. However, along with former heroes, supposed "ex-villains" also bring their experience to the table, so what exactly are the students learning? What story will you tell in this new world!?

Our Story

After a long career of crime fighting as Batman, Bruce Wayne sought a way to continue his legacy and ensure world remained safe. Bruce went to work, designing a system to both mold the youth of today into better heroes, but to also help steer would be villains onto the correct path. Founding the Wayne Academy, he hoped to do both. Upon turning 18, students are enrolled and taught to make the best of their abilities. Students usually come to the school in one of three ways: They are a legacy, enrolled because their parents were well known supers. Recurited because they have shown extraordinary powers or abilities, or sent to the school in lue of punishment by the law in an effort to reform.Due to this aspect, and in the spirit of offering a second chance, various ex villains teach at the Academy.

GM characters that represent threats or events, are just tools for GMs. They operate outside of normal character limits and rules.

History:

Personality:

Powers: This is for super powers. Stuff like being faster than a speeding bullet, stronger than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound and so forth.

Special Qualities: For indelible qualities about your character. A Green Lantern's willpower is an example, as is Batman's singular dedication to crime-fighting, or John Constantine being an insufferable wanker.

Special Equipment: Stuff like the Batman's utility belt or Wonder Woman's lasso of truth - a character can be safely assumed to own a conventional smart phone or lap top without much fuss. BlueOrange

As discussed, I’m interested in picking up Catwoman as a gym teacher, and in doing some assistant GM work (if my injured wrist will let me).

Please reserve Charlize Theron as a faceclaim for me, I'll get a sheet done properly in the next few days (holiday weekend here, lots of social obligations).

#2
Name: Annabelle Cartwright
Codename: Pinnacle
Age: 19
Species: Human
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Lesbian
Enrollment: Recruit
Appearance:Casual Gym Outfit Costume

Faceclaim:

History: Annabelle was always a sickly child growing up, constantly stuck in bed for one reason or another. Her parents, her father an accomplished scientist and her mother a renowned doctor, put all their resources and experience into finding a solution. The trials all failed, every attempt at a solution didn't make it past the animal testing phase. On a rare day where she was feeling well enough to be out of bed, spent the day with her parents as they worked. She tripped and was accidentally injected with their latest attempt, her parents fearing the worst from the untested serum.

Due to luck or some unique aspect of her body chemistry, Annabelle not only suffered no ill effects but made a complete turn around. Once she was too sickly to walk without help most days and now she was just like any one else, until she hit puberty. The serum had an unintended side effect, it made enhanced her mental and physical abilities to the peak of human ability. She suddenly found she was on par with an Olympic athlete in terms of her physical abilities, maybe even better. Her mental abilities were improved as well, she's not a super-genius like some heroes but she's definitely smarter then most expect. It wasn't long before she got recruited to the Wayne Academy.

Personality: Annabelle enjoys life, especially after spending most of her childhood being bedridden. Most people would assume that such a physically perfect girl would be a snob or queen bee, constantly looking down on everyone she considered a lesser. The truth is that after being the object of isolation and mockery due to her condition as a child, Annabelle is generous and protective.

She is quick to put herself between people in trouble and the cause of that trouble. She prefers a more civil approach to things, hoping to resolve a problem without violence but she isn't afraid to let her fist to the talking when it's needed.

Powers: Peak human abilities allowing her to compete on the same level as top-tier athletes and martial artist. This also means that she has sharper senses then the average person.

Special Qualities: Annabelle's enhanced mental abilities give her a nearly perfect memory.

Abilities: Annabelle loves to learn new skills and test the limits of her abilities. Her enhanced memory allows her to speak and read French, Russian, Spanish, and she is working on Atlantean. Since coming to Wayne Academy, she has been learning martial arts and practices lock-picking in her free time.

Limitations/Weaknesses: Annabelle's enhanced physical abilities makes her extremely vulnerable to drugs and substances that use her enhanced metabolism against her. She also need more food then her size would suggest since her body burns calories at a much faster rate.

TheHangedOne

Alright, Kara, here's a first go at my antihero. <3

Name: Riley Roth
Codename: Masque
Age: Characters must be at least 18 years old.
Parents: Raven
Species: Quarter-demon
Gender: Non-binary
Sexual Orientation: Inscrutable
Enrollment: Legacy
Appearance: Masque wears body-concealing clothing that keeps their physical appearance difficult to discern. This often takes the form of long coats, pants, boots, and gloves; typically in darker shades. What earns them their moniker, of course, is a frightening mask. The black lenses that cover the eyeholes of the mask prevent others from seeing within, and reflect everything in front of them with a subtle wrongness that is difficult to place.
Faceclaim: n/a

History: When one is born to a hero, a great deal of weight is placed upon the child's shoulders from the get-go. So many others, with their expectations; their hopes; their dreams; their fears. Perhaps it is a quirk of their demonic heritage, but Riley has always had a sense for fear, and their earliest memories are of the exquisite range of flavors fear can have.

Riley was always a troubled youth; despite their mother's best attempts, her child's inner darkness was too deeply enmeshed into their very being. Unable to remove it, it then became a delicate balancing act of ensuring it was expressed in ways that did more good than harm.

Several incidents over the years show the trouble this youth has undergone... often balanced against the fact that their 'victims' were bullies, thugs, even a hardened criminal in one circumstance, who was left in a coma after being consumed by their own fear.

Having come of age, Riley finds themselves attending the Wayne Academy, where, one might hope, that the lurking terror will further learn to restrain themselves.

Personality: Inscrutable and mercurial. They have a unique way of perceiving and responding to the world around them, and while there is certainly a pattern--a certain orderliness to it all--outside observers often fail to identify said pattern. They can be your friend, or your nightmare, with little in-between.

Powers:
Shadow-Self: A strange twist on Raven's soul-self ability. Rather than projecting themselves outwards, Masque is capable of altering their physical body into whatever shape they want. Additionally, they can take on aberrant qualities; often to instill terror, to improvise weapons on the fly, or acquire new modes of movement (like skittering across the walls and ceilings in an alarmingly arachnid fashion).
Shadow Travel: A short range teleportation ability, this requires that Masque exploit their spiritual connection with physical darkness, moving through shadows at faster-than-light speed. It is limited by perception; but they can 'chain-jump' from shadow to shadow to cover ground quickly.
Psychic Flaying: By weaponizing the negative emotions of a target, Masque is able to inflict both psychological and physical trauma on an individual. On the physical side of things, it's well within their ability to cause old wounds to reopen in a violent, painful manner; while on the psychological side of things, it amplifies emotions. A small fear can be heightened into a full blown meltdown. An unresolved trauma can induce a psychotic break from reality. This ability requires focus, and limits Masque's ability to perform other actions (can walk, talk, etc., but could not do something that requires active focus, like picking a lock, or doing their homework).
Reign of Darkness: Le Grand Finale, the ultimate expression of Masque's control over terror. The victim is locked into a mental prison, during which they are psychically assaulted by literally every single fear they have ever experienced in their life. Wave after wave of nightmares crash against the mind, wearing it down. Unrelenting and remorseless, the terrors are revived and sent ad infinitum in a looping hell that can only be ended through supernatural (or superpowered) intervention; or by the victim being able to muster up the heroic will necessary to defeat their inner demons, and integrate their Jungian shadow into themselves. On a physical level, the victim appears to be in a coma; jailed in their own mind, a hell of their own creation.

There are a couple of requirements that are needed in order for Masque to actually activate this ability. First, it requires that "Terror-form" be active. Secondly, it exhausts Masque's reservoirs of energy, shutting them off from all other powers (but not special qualities), until they can restore themselves, through the consumption of fear.
Fear Eater: Proof that Masque's powers can be used to help, not harm. With the consent of an individual, Masque can project their will into the individual's mental landscape. There, they can dredge up fears and help an individual to conquer those fears. This ability, at least in theory, can even heal traumas; but it does require the person it is performed on to be able and willing to confront those parts of themselves that they wish to be healed from. This power can also be used to destroy psychic influences, though often in these situations, that requires Masque to intrude into someone's mind. Devouring fear deepens Masque's understanding of their powers, and in time, could lead to new weapons... or tools to help others.

Special Qualities:
Dark-sense: It is known that most people, even superheroes, carry a seed of darkness in them. Fear, anxiety, trauma, depression; or so many other things. Masque is able to taste these emotions, and identify them by the way someone tastes. While the word "taste" is Masque's choice descriptor, this does not require them to physically touch someone.
Terror-Form: Normally, Masque can process incoming emotions in a neat and orderly fashion. Some times, however, there are too many people, feeling too many things, too strongly. Once a certain critical point is reached, something snaps in them, turning them into an actual monster. Gone is their human form, replaced by an eldritch abomination that is an amalgamation of fears grotesquely stitched together; a form that makes no sense or logic, yet functions all-too-well. In Terror-Form, all of Masque's abilities are greatly heightened, "it" can influence its surroundings, causing the world around themselves to twist into a waking nightmare that they control.

Abilities:
Polyglot: Once it became clear that Riley could not function well in a school environment, Raven took it upon herself to educate their child quite well. Amid the required courses in math, science, history, etc., Raven passed on their knowledge of German, Latin, Romanian, Ancient Sumerian, and Sanskrit.

Special Equipment:
Shield Mask: Made of an unknown material, most likely otherwordly in origin, this cold mask insulates the wearer's mind from outside influences.

Limitations/Weaknesses:
*Masque primarily focuses on only a single opponent at a time, and can be swarmed/overwhelmed.
*Masque can become overloaded and lose control of their powers.
*Tends to respond instinctively/reflexively; is a poor planner as a result.
*Requires a 4,000 calorie a day diet (unless the day is particularly physically draining, in which case, you can bump that up to 5K); additionally, they must feed off of ambient negative emotions, or they develop a sort of anemic condition.
*Poor interpersonal skills; difficulty understanding positive emotions and motivations.

Ons & Offs:

Plot Seeds: None atm, but still tinkering with ideas.

#8
Name: Mayet Mayar, born Teth-Mayet
Codename:Nefiru

Age: 24
Parents Teth-Adam/Black Adam, Adrianna Tomaz/Isis
Species: Human
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Enrollment: Legacy and reformation.
Appearance:

Mayet is a slender woman who stands about 5’6” without shoes. She has a naturally tanned complexion, long straight brown hair and dark brown eyes. Generally wears comfortable casual attire.

Nefiru is a statuesque woman who stands just under 6’. Her tanned complexion has an almost bronze glow to it. Her black hair is braided, neck length, with gold caps at the end of each braid, but normally concealed beneath headdress. Almost exclusively wears ancient Egyptian royal regalia and white linen garb.

Faceclaim:

History: Mayet was born on the Rock of Eternity, and spent the first four years of her life with her mother while only moments passed on Earth.

With Isis leaving the living again, Mayet was fostered to the Mayar family in Kahndaq, Gamal and Layla. For the next twelve years her life resembled that of any child in the struggling middle class in Kahndaq.

Although interested in Archeology and History, Mayet had strong math skills and did well in sciences. At sixteen, amid many tears and hugs from her foster mother, she departed to England to complete two years of prep school, and went on to complete a four year B.Eng at the University of Nottingham–all relevant tuitions and fees paid for by strange men in dark suits from the Kahndaq Embassy.

Aware she was somehow unique, and clearly was receiving special treatment from the Kahndaq government, but her early memories of her dream-like life with her birth mother on the Rock of Eternity lost with time–she treated the “Kahndaq Sciences Development Fund” with suspicion.

On a trip into London with friends she stepped off the train into the Rock of Eternity, and at nineteen was finally reunited with her parents. A month on the rock passed in a heart-beat on Earth as she was prepared for a mystical gift from her parents, a magical word that would transform her into a powerful champion for her people.

Travelling to Metropolis for graduate studies was life-changing. The Kahndaq Embassy in Metropolis was not popular, and it was clear that the State Department was aware of her heritage and disapproved of her presence in the USA. Spending weeks, and missing most of the first semester, limited to a small apartment in the Embassy she agreed with the Embassy staff that the offer from Wayne Academy to act as a supervising authority and sponsor for her continued studies in the USA was preferable to returning to Kahndaq.

Personality:

Mayet is studious and disciplined, but she does love movies and coffee shops and shopping (although her personal budget is limited). She likes to laugh and cuddle up on couches and tries hard to be someone people can rely on. Due to a traditional upbringing she has little experience with men–she has been on a number of first dates, but always cited the importance of her studies as a reason not to continue those connections into a relationship.

Nefiru is distant, and perhaps arrogant. She seems humourless. She is a minor goddess among mortals and expects her presence to be seen as a boon.

Powers:

Mayet: Can shout the magic word NABIS and summon a magical bolt of lighting from the heavens, transforming her into Nefiru.

Nefiru: Nut’s control of the heavens. (Flight, Lightning and Wind control)
Amunet’s wisdom. (Can communicate with all terrestrial people and animals.)
Bastet’s bravery. (Resistant to fear and magical compulsion)
Isis’ mercy. (Can ease pain and aid peaceful passing).

Sekmet’s prowess. (Strength, speed, agility and endurance of peak “Olympic” athletes).

With the word NABIS can transform back to Mayet.

Special Qualities: Mayet is adored by all cats, tame, feral, and wild. (Mayet has only experienced tame and a few feral cats).

Mayet & Nefiru cannot access the Rock of Eternity.

Abilities: Mayet is current in CPR and First Aid and is handy with repairing sketchily maintained and jury-rigged machinery and electronics given the appropriate tools.

Mayet is fluent in Egyptian Arabic and reads/writes Literary Arabic.
Mayet is fluent and literate in English, but speaks with an accent (Egyptian and “Etonian” English)

Nefiru speaks in Ancient Egyptian, c 2000 BCE, and can read Egyptian Hieratic and Hieroglyphs. With the Wisdom of Amunet she can communicate with all terrestrial people.

(She cannot communicate verbally with Superman, or the Martian Manhunter, though, as they are not terrestrial in origin).

Special Equipment: none

Limitations/Weaknesses:

If denied the ability to shout, Mayet cannot transform. (Neither can Nefiru).

Although Billy and Captain Marvel are different people who share knowledge, and Teth-Adam is Black Adam, Mayet does not share consciousness with Nefiru, she is unaware of anything that happens after she transforms. Nefiru is aware of Mayet.

Mayet cannot transform covertly. Additionally, transforming indoors will create some structural damage.

The longer Nefiru remains on the mortal plane, the worse the weather will get. Hurricane/cyclone force winds might take days, but clouds start to gather and the wind picks up whenever she transforms. Rain or snow might fall based on local temperature and humidity.

Ons & Offs: Pending

Plot Seeds: Why can Mayet not perceive or remember Nefiru’s actions? Is it a curse? Or is Nefiru too haughty to share her consciousness with a mere mortal?

Player Notes:

Nefiru is designed to be a parallel to 1980’s X-Men’s Storm–her primary abilities are wind & lightning control. I steered away from “female Black Adam” as it seems far too powerful.

Everlasting Starfall

Name: Sophie Yoon
Codename: Ocean Tide
Age: 19
Species: Human*
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Lesbian
Enrollment: Recruit
Appearance: Long blue hair. Gray eyes that change to teal when she is using her powers. Athletic build.
Faceclaim:

History:  Sophie grew up in a family to an American father and Korean mother. Her life was very much ordinary, but still good. She was reasonably popular in school, nothing crazy. One of her biggest interests is sports, and she was a member of the local Volleyball club as well as training Judo from a young age — thanks to her mother.

One summer, when she was out surfing with some friends, a big wave got her crashing into the ocean, with her surfboard knocking her unconscious. She would have drowned, but something awoke inside of her. Suddenly she could breathe like she was on land, and she had a way easier time to move in the water, almost like she was a fish! Some other weird things happened as well. For once, her hair turned blue, another was that a pair of gills showed up on her neck, small fins started to show up along the part of the spine that is between the shoulderblades. as well as on the back of her calves.

As it turns out, she had a very small amount of Atlanteans blood, not from any close relative, but probably a few generations back.  After this awakening she has tried to learn how to control her powers better, while figuring out what they all are. But also, trying to seek answers.

It was through this that the Wayne Academy learned about her and eventually offered her a spot, which she accepted.

Personality: Sophie used to be very outgoing, but ever since she got her powers she has been a bit more withdrawn, mostly because she has tried to hide it. She is a bit cautious with new people at the academy since she is not used to the world of heroes yet. Other than that she is kind, and try to help others if she can.

Powers: Sophie gains a few of her powers from the Atlantean’s. Such as being able to breath under water, as well as a bit of better durability and senses. However since her blood is so diluted she does not really have superhuman strength. As for her senses, her hearing is a bit better than a normal human while on land, while her vision lets her see reasonably well in the dark.

Another big thing for her, was the ability to manipulate water, as well as creating it. The latter part being much more taxing for her.
And finally, she does have some ability to heal people, which is texting for her. It makes it easier if the person is submerged in water.

Abilities: She is fluent in English and Korean, considering her parents. She got a 3rd degree black belt in Judo.

Limitations/Weaknesses: To use her powers to the highest extent she needs a source of water. If she has to create a lot of water herself she will quickly drain her own stamina. The same goes with her healing, she has an easier time with it if the target is already in water.

Ons & Offs: See my signature for link. But other than that, she is more on the submissive side of things.

Name: Marida Nein (Mechanical Autonomous Replicant IDeAtion 9)
Codename: Datastream
Age: 22
Species: Human Consciousness in a Gynoid Frame
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Sapphic Asexual (Into those with She/Her, She/They, and They/Them pronouns. Not into sex)
Enrollment: Recruit
Appearance:
Faceclaim: Elena Satine

History: Klaus Nein was but a lonely scientist with only his daughter to remember his late wife, Carol, by. Hence, Marida was his pride and joy throughout the first decade and a half of her life. It was a shame that on the day of a particularly bad storm, the poor man lost even that.

Driven by grief, he began to build a way to bring her back in the the only way he could manage....a gynoid with a digital upload of Marida's brain. Hence, Marida (or Mechanical Autonomous Replicant IDeAtion) was back. She was full of programs and gadgets to ensure that no mere car accident would ever harm her again.

Hence, Marida's remaining child up to her twenties have been fruitful. After all, she's a humble bookworm of a girl with a good heart. It's why in particular that she wanted to sign up for the academy despite her father's urging not to for her safety.

Personality: Marida is a fairly humble girl that loves to get lost in her books when she's not helping others. If anything, she's the perpetual mom friend so to speak. Always ensuring those she meets are doing well and getting enough sleep, she maybe takes a bit too much on even when her stamina is crazy.

Powers:
-Data-Interphase: Marida is able to seamlessly began hacking into devices she is able to touch. Admittedly, her neural net could possibly flow out of her body and into the world wide web, but she hasn't dare tested that yet.

Special Qualities: Marida has a noted amount of moral fiber due to being the perpetual mom friend. It doesn't stop her from breaking laws, but more or less encourages her to keep her friends in position where they are never forced to.

Abilities:
-Fighting Subroutines: Marida is programmed with several routines mostly centered around shoot aikido (Basically aikido, but modified to function in actual combat) and gun katas.

Special Equipment:
-Thrusters: Thrusters can emit from opening plates across Marida's body in order to allow her to fly.
-Steel-Thetic Skin: Marida's skin a network of titanium plates covered in a layer of synthetic skin to mimic a human form while allowing for hard endurance.
-Machine-like Strength: Being a gynoid, Marida easily ignores human limitations and stresses in takes to lift things. Especially when she can use that strength to yeet cars when she takes both hands to one.

-Flame-Thrower: Marida can increase the output in her palm thrusters to make them work as actual flamethrowers.
-Stuntap: Plates can open in Marida's fingers so she can taze her opponents by pressing them against them and emitting a tough shock from the stun modules that emerge.

Limitations/Weaknesses:
-Charging: Marida needs to every 36 hours lest she be left drooping and offline. Using her powers further drains her batteries.
-Doubt: While she puts on a strong front, there's a lot of dismal thoughts whirling in the back of drive like "Am I good enough?", "As my head really human?", and "Why are my memories starting to feel off?"
-Emps: Marida is weak to electromagnetic pulses while her tech is out since creates holes in her EMP shielding.

Ons & Offs: Cuddles, Affection, Romance, Outfits/Intercourse, Gore, Bathroom Stuff

Plot Seeds:
-Memory Holes (Why she's number 9, the origins of her neural net)
-Becoming her own person
-Romance

Kelsey Kent

Name: Kelsey Kent
Codename: Superia
Age: 18
Parents: Clark Kent and Lois Lane Kent
Species: Half Kryptonian
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual, heavy female lean
Enrollment: Legacy
Appearance: 5'11, Long black hair, blue eyes.
Faceclaim: Please pick a real life model or comic appearance. This isn't required, but it does help everyone envision your character!

History: Kelsey is the only daughter of Clark Kent and Lois Lane. She grew up in Metropolis, enjoying a mostly regular life until the age of six, when she learned her father was Superman. Her powers arrived when she was sixteen, and Clark began training her to use them in a responsible manner. While Kelsey wanted to become a hero like her father, he wasn't sure she was ready and her mother insisted that she also focus on an education, so Wayne Academy appeared to be a compromise. Kelsey has a good grip on her powers, but also has a lot to learn, especially when it comes to socializing.

Personality: Kelsey is intelligent, witty and upbeat. She is outgoing, but the trait is actually more of an adaption caused by her anxiety more so than her true self. She suffers from moments of self-doubt, and isn't always confident in her self, She is much more confident in costume than out. She is moral almost to a fault, but also understands there is a gray area, getting that trait from her mother.

Powers: Superia possesses the typical powers for a Kryptonian. However, due to her status as half human, her powers are not the same. Kelsey's strength and speed are actually stronger than her fathers, but her body cells do not process solar energy as cleanly. If Kelsey goes a week without access to the sun, she will become basically human. She can also deplete the stored solar energy in her body, if she performs more taxing activities requiring her powers. In this case, she could become powerless within hours, if the effort was constant, and she had no access to the sun.

Special Qualities: Kelsey has been trained in fighting by Wonder Woman, and is a much more talented hand-to-hand combatant than her father. She possesses an amazingly high IQ, and is generally good at reading people, even if her lack of social skills tends to hamper this.

Abilities: Kelsy is fluent in Kryptonian and English. She also learned how to question and interrogate someone from her mother.

Special Equipment: N/A

Limitations/Weaknesses: Kelsey is slightly weaker at night, but it directly depends on the amount of solar energy stored, and how much she has used since her last solar exposure. She is weak to kryptonite, but it acts much more slowly on her than full-blooded Kryptonians.

#18
Name: Lily Jaqueline Quinzel
Codename: Upsy Daisy
Age: 18
Parents Harleen Quinzel & Jervis Tetch
Species: Human
Gender: Trans/Futa
Sexual Orientation: Polysexual
Enrollment: Reformation
Appearance: A wild-haired young woman with a love of high-heeled boots and a remarkable form-fitting costume that shifts about like it is alive, showing patterns and forms around her shapely figure.
Faceclaim: Witney Carson
 Costume:  Gym Uniform:

History: The child of two well-known Villains, it was written in the stars that Lily would have a rough upbringing. Her parents were hardly able to care for and provide for her on any regular basis, completely unable to offer any sort of stable home. Harleen refuses to admit she would ever sleep with Jervis on a dare, while Jervis fervently denies any memory of such events. Harleen at least acknowledges Lily, having undeniably given birth to her, but had little contact in her formative years, as she was usually otherwise occupied (often in Arkham). Lily's superhuman abilities are said to be natural from birth, but many suspect that Harleen dosed her daughter with the same chemicals she was at one time given by Ivy. While her birth record at the hospital indicates her gender as Female, there is no doubt that currently, while female in outward appearance, and generally preferring female of non-binary pronouns, she possesses a penis and external testes. No medical records exist concerning this.

With no home, Lily drifted through the foster system from home to home, any indication of her parents' identities was enough to scare off most foster parents, and her reckless behaviour generally shunned the rest. Halfway houses and juvenile detention were no less successful, so upon turning 18, it was determined by a Judge, who'd been following her progress, that Wayne Academy might be able to set her up for a future with some stability and purpose.

Personality: Incredibly self-involved and self-serving, she has little idea what the world shouldn't be at her feet, or at least somewhere other than telling her what she should be doing. Her lack of stability as well as a lack of any reasonable figured to look up to has left her wandering and aimless, almost certainly impacted by ADHD, but also some learning disabilities which she has hidden and fought to overcome on her own, refusing to show weakness in an uncaring world.

Powers: Superhuman Agility - I'm like all bendy, wanna come over and see HOW bendy?
Superhuman Durability - I take a licking and keep on beating the snot out of you!
Superhuman Stamina - What's wrong sugar, done already? I'm just getting warmed up!
Superhuman Reflexes - Yeah, I caught your fancy arrow. What, you want it back? I don't think so, chump!

Special Qualities: Chaotic Neutral.

Abilities:
Genius Level Intellect, Gymnastics - Olympic Level, Hand-to-Hand Combat (Advanced), Martial Arts, Hypnosis, Arachnology, Herpetology

Special Equipment:
Reactive Costume: Based on the technology used in the mask of the former vigilante Rorschach, she can control the patterns on the suit but is so far only able to handle black and white patterns. She is rumoured to have designed and developed it on her own.
4D Hammer: A long stick, almost as tall as she is that she carries, usually strapped to her back which, when manipulated in the right manner, a giant, almost comical double-headed hammerhead forms on top of it. While the hammer is technically always there, it's able to be hidden away in some form of pocket dimension. This was a gift from her mother, though almost certainly stolen technology.
Anastasia: a 24' long anaconda, registered as her support animal.

Limitations/Weaknesses: Lily doesn't actually care about much, the crimes she was accused of that got her put into Wayne Academy were just something to do. She doesn't want to rule the world, she doesn't want to save humanity, she doesn't even want to get revenge or anything, she just wants to do things, usually whatever comes to mind first. As such she's just as likely to walk away from saving the world in the middle of victory, as she is to be the one blowing up the world on a whim. If she is stopped from getting something she wants she'll more likely pout than fight for it.

Ons & Offs: O & O's

WIP (shelved)

Name: Floyd Lawton
Codename: Deadshot (formerly)
Age: old enough to have fathered an adult teenage daughter
Parents N/A
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Enrollment: Recruit/Reformed (?) Faculty
Appearance:

Faceclaim:

History:

Floyd Lawton grew up as a member of the idle rich. His father George Lawton made money in real estate, and his mother Genevieve Pitt belonged to a family of wealthy bankers. His brother Edward Lawton was a golden child, described as the opposite of Floyd. Both parents doted on Edward while treating Floyd poorly, but Floyd still grew up idolizing his older brother. George was unfaithful and cruel to Genevieve, so she asked her sons to kill their father. Eddie locked Floyd in the boathouse when Floyd tried to warn his father. Floyd broke out and grabbed his hunting rifle. Eddie had already shot their father in the second-floor library, paralyzing George for life, and was preparing to kill him. Floyd climbed a tree and aimed to disarm his brother, but a branch snapped and he shot Eddie between the eyes. He killed the brother he loved to save the father he hated. This incident was covered up to avoid dishonoring the family name. George denied Genevieve a divorce and forced her to live alone on a small stipend.

Some time after that, Lawton sought the training of the professional assassin David Cain, who instructed Lawton and taught him his marksmanship abilities.

In the midst of years of back-and-forths between freedom, prison and basically government-based indentured servitude, Floyd found time and opportunity to father a daughter. Due to the nature of his work, his relationship with her is estranged. By all available accounts, they have a good relationship but Floyd had found it necessary to distance himself from her to protect her while supporting her both monetarily and emotionally as best he could. Government spooks under Amanda Waller do help him keep an eye on her of course but that was because she was important as leverage to access his services.

In his free time, he picks on organized crime to both sharpen his skills and to give back to the community. In particular, he prefers to take on the Cartels, the Mafiya/Bratva and the myriad of human refuse that dot troubled hotspots around the world.

As much as Batman had fought against him to prevent him from taking down his quarry on many occasions, there were occasions when even Batman had to acknowledge that there were people that were too far gone for his methods of rehabilitation. In those occasions, when both men were present, Batman simply metaphorically averted his gaze and let Floyd perform the deed before they departed without further conflict.

When Wayne Academy was first proposed, Floyd was surprised to receive a call from Bruce Wayne, asking for him to give up the life of a hitman and lone vigilante in exchange for a steady, high-paying job at the Academy and being released from his duty to the US Government. With some hesitation on his part resulting from apprehension, Floyd accepted the invitation and was formally inducted as one of the faculty to the institution.

Personality:

Formerly a man of relatively flexible morals but strong underlying convictions to his personal rules, Floyd is surprisingly nice and gentle to people around him and absolute strangers when he's “off the clock” despite his reputation. Politeness is something that is an extension of his professionalism “on the clock” and he considers that to be something he could always afford. Now his demeanor matches his moral standing and he strives to focus on the vigilantism off-the-clock that he originally considered an extracurricular back when he was an assassin-for-hire.

Powers:

Marksmanship - uncanny accuracy that’s said to be flawless and is functionally so unless acted-upon mid-flight.

Throwing - Extension of marksmanship

Peak human condition - senses and eyesight are about as good as an unenhanced human could get, physically-speaking he is also as fit as they come

Special Qualities:

Experienced Tactical Analyst

Interrogation

Negotiator

Intimidation

Demolitionist

Advanced Hand-to-Hand Combat

Abilities:

Multilingual (speaks Russian and other commonly used Slavic languages as well as Spanish)

Disguise (includes accent imitation)

Breaking-and-entering (includes lockpicking and other relevant skills)

Investigative skill

Weaponsmithing

Defensive Driving

Special Equipment:

Personal Arsenal

wrist guns
Design details:
A striker-fired pair of pistol calibre guns with an electronic trigger, the Wrist Guns are chambered in 9mm Parabellum. With a single-stack magazine design taking inspiration from that of the FN Herstal P90 or the Hill H15 submachine gun that came before it, the guns are integrally suppressed with 3-inch suppressors that are pinned to the 4.3-inch barrels. The suppressors are a monolithic baffle design for longevity, ease of production through 3D printing and maintenance. With a magazine capacity of 7+1, the Wrist Guns originally fired 140 gr. Copper monolithic hollow point bullets with a steel penetrator cap at a muzzle velocity that is high subsonic or transonic at roughly 300m/s, give or take 5m/s based on atmospheric and temperature variation with primers and brass cases that are unmarked save for their intended calibre. Currently, in his capacity as Combat Simulation Instructor, the original rounds are replaced with simunition with compatible ballistic properties to the custom-tooled cartridges he used with the only difference being a massive decrease in lethality due to the nature of simulated munitions. Case ejection follows the direction of the elbows. The guns fire in semi-automatic and as fast as the bolt can cycle, in effect that means a theoretical cyclic rate of fire of 1100-1200 rpm but a significantly lower practical rate of fire mechanically limited by magazine size and how quickly the trigger can be pressed. Cocking notches to prepare the weapon and clear stoppages are located in the bolts sized for the index finger with the notch facing inwards towards the torso. The electronic triggers for the wrist guns are stored in a compartment in the inner wrist of the suit and have the form factor of a cylinder each with two separate buttons, a safety and the trigger. Both the safety and the trigger have to be pressed for the gun to fire one shot and the trigger button would need to be released before the second shot could be fired. The trigger buttons are pressed with the thumbs while the safeties are bar-shaped buttons that have to be held down by the palm while gripped. As an additional operator safety precaution, when the guns are deployed, the suppressors extend out slightly beyond the knuckles in order to keep the shots from being able to make contact with any part of his hands.

Capability:

Intended maximum effective range of 25 metres (this is not an indication of terminal ballistics but rather a projection of the maximum range that Floyd would have 100% confidence of scoring a hit on a target barring events outside of his control

Armor piercing capability rated at NIJ Standard-0101.07 Type IIIA at intended maximum effective range, minimum capability of Type IIA at terminal ballistic range.

WayneTech endowment

Limitations/Weaknesses:

Lactose Intolerance: very mild, is normally an inconvenience at worst

Human-level durability

Ons & Offs:
