Interest Check - Futanari Mecha School

Hi there everyone. This is an idea that just popped into my head a short while ago and I thought I'd see if it could get some wings here. The basic premise is a sort of post-apocalyptic game with a little Front Mission-style mech play and kaiju action.

Taking place in the far future, global warming and environmental destruction have wreaked havoc with the world. Massive flooding has swallowed much of the land. scientists created an airborne microorganism that was supposed to be released into the atmosphere and consume pollutants in order to help stop global warming. It did that but, unexpectedly, it also infected anything with a Y chromosome with a fatal illness. To add to this run of apocalyptic misfortune, this is also around the time man makes first contact with an alien race. They are not friendly. With the male population dying, many major cities underwater, and alien invaders and their massive machines and monsters of war rampaging across the globe, humanity faces extinction. Somehow humans cling to life and scientists manage to twist DNA around their fingers one more time, creating the Fu-Gene, making some women into futanari so that the world can repopulate. A few years after this, a team of German scientists create the Wanzer (short for 'wanderungpanzer' or 'walking tank') which packs enough firepower to beat back the aliens. These Wanzer require two pilots in perfect sync (a la Pacific Rim) in order to manage the attack and defense systems at the same time. This is usually a couple, generally a futanari and her partner. A school is developed specifically to train these young women. There they'll learn how to pilot Wanzers, and find the person they bond closely with so they can pilot it in real combat.

I do have a question though, before I forget.  What are these aliens exactly?  Are they humanoid like asari from Mass Effect or more monstrous like the Xenomorphs from Aliens?  Just curious is all, but as for my own idea stated a little bit ago, I figured a place like a bathhouse or something similar would be a good place to blow off steam between missions and such.

I haven't decided honestly if I'm doing futa or not.  Hmm, I'll give it some thought, see what others are doing.  I might go futa though, just because I get to play them so rarely.

None as of yet, I didn't have any plans for that and was planning on most of the NSFW stuff taking place between the ladies at the school, with the battles being our action breaks to keep things mixed up so we're not doing one thing too long.

That's actually not a bad idea, despite my comment earlier to the contrary.  Keeping the enemy as the enemy out to rip us to pieces and keeping the fun bits between what's left of the human race is oddly less E and more realistic despite the obviously fictional setting lol.  I am curious about one thing though, is it at all possible to have a couple of aliens on our side at all?  A couple of defectors hoping to be free of their alien superiors?  Or not a chance in hell?

A possible angle on that would be that some of them defected and contributed enough tech knowledge to the Germans to boost us ahead decades, and the result was the Wanzer. Almost like a Macross situation where we develop an unholy marriage of alien and human tech.

With all of their advanced tech, they could easily accelerate the pregnancies I imagine, but that's still a good thought.  I figure though that they wouldn't want to stop people from breeding if we're so close to extinction as it was.

I would imagine that there are already breeders in place for that purpose. Female pilots would probably not be expected to get pregnant. Though they are encouraged to be intimate with their partners to increase the sync rate percentage.  Just a thought.

Well depending on the tech level you could always have the zygote moved to an In Vitro tank for the actual duration of the gestation period once they realized they were pregnant. That keeps the pilot in the fight and lets you raise little pilots. :-)

Check out http://web.archive.org/web/20070316074659/http://scarletmars.com/rpgs/Duality/Index.htm , particularly the "Battle Electric Storm Mecha!" plugin. It's a rules-lite system, well suited for forum play, and it (accidentally?) fits this game's theme perfectly.

If you get preggers it's going to take you out of the fight, thus locking you out of half the game. As Ghostraven said, you could move the zygote to a lab for the duration, but wouldn't that remove the fun part of the pregnancy kink for those that enjoy it? It's not something I go for so I'm not sure how those who enjoy it feel, but I thought that would be the part they'd enjoy most. Anyway, right now I'm working on the character sheet! The swords are the pilots in charge of the offensive systems of a wanzer; weapons, aiming, as well as power distribution and sensors. Bio: Tsubaki had a rather routine upgringing in Kyoto, one of the few Japanese safe zones left. She made friends, went to school, laughed, cried, and played. Her parents were both engineers that had survived alien attacks on Japan and were both passionate about helping the cause of the war. They often kept up their work even when away from the lab and were always working on something. Tsubaki says they died in an accident at work, but the real truth of the matter is that they met their end at home. After dinner the couple were working on a propulsion system in their basement workshop and Tsubaki, despite having been reminded multiple times not to enter while they were working, came in tot show her parents a drawing she'd just finished. She accidently wandered in during testing of the new propulsion system and her parents were forced to use an emergency shutdown protocol which backfired, causing the system to explode. Tsubaki's mother shielded the little girl with her body, giving her life in the process. Both parents died and Tsubaki was gravely injured; she lost an eye and all of her hearing.

The eyepatch she wears corrects her depth perception and the cat-like aural receivers that float near her head allow her to hear again. After the accident she went to live with an aunt. Frustrated and upset with herself, she became withdrawn for quite some time until her uncle began teaching her kendo and martial arts, which allowed the girl to vent some of those frustrations. Not quite as book smart as her parents but still yearning to somehow make up for the grave mistake that cost their lives, Tsubaki joined the Wanzer Training Program as soon as she was able.

Personality: Brash, headstrong, and just a little cocky. On the inside Tsubaki is still a hurt little girl trying to make amends for what she's done, but that inner pain gifts her with boundless determination. It's that determination that in turn leads to her headstrong nature and her willingness to charge full speed at any challenge that comes her way. She's skilled and it's made her a touch arrogant, which can slip into overconfidence from time to time. She's not exactly book smart and no sound strategist, often preferring to fight with instinct or brute force her way through problems.

When the production of the wanderungpanzer unit became public knowledge, the reserved anime fan studied her best in school to be sure she would qualified to join the institution that taught teenagers fresh out of high school to pilot the wondrous mecha.

Personality: Sakurako is your typical wallflower; smart, yet shy. What she lacks in social skills, she makes up in being a whiz in mechanics and mecha anime trivia. Hence why, despite her interest in the various battle systems of the walking tanks, she is much better in a shield position.

Bio: Her appearance in the school came as a result of a long string of misunderstandings. First she'd received the wrong test, as she was looking to do something more agricultural, which her family had done since the invasion, thinking up new ways to protect and feed what part of humanity was left. Some of the mechanical questions seemed in line with what she wanted to do, so she didn't think much of whether or not she was in the right place. Upon passing that test, she was then put through simulation qualifiers and mistook the instructions to be the protection of civilians rather than the destruction of the enemy. The system doesn't assign specific duties during the simulation, but gives a person the chance to act on what seems the most natural. Her attacks were on enemies closest to civilian groups, her defenses were...rather impressive. She was assigned a Shield designation and given orders to attend the academy as her placement. Lucky her.

Personality: Friendly, positive, and fiercely loyal. The natural urge to protect is part of what makes her such a quality Shield recruit. Can come off as a ditz at times, but has an old soul. Could be considered more wise than she normally appears.

Personality:  Despite her militaristic appearance, Kala is an intellectual, gentle soul when she's not on the battlefield.  She prefers walks through a quiet meditation garden over the violence and domination her species has become known.  She is far more attune to the warrior poets of old rather than the mindless drones her fellow 'sisters' have become in recent years, preferring an intelligent debate to a hostile takeover of another world, no matter the reasoning behind it.  Traitor to her own kind that she might be, her loyalty is without question to the humans she has thrown in with, having seen how far her own species has fallen and wanting no part in their barbarous behavior any longer.

Personality: Scarlett isn't your typical Sword - if there was one. She's strong-willed, sweet, intelligent, and down-to-earth. Despite the positive social traits, she is a top notch fighter and quite skilled in combat. Because of her character traits, she has undoubtedly been about to keep a level head about her when fighting. However, because of her position as a sword, she can be quite hot-headed at times. Having a strong shield behind her keeps her from doing anything over the top.

As a friend, she can be relied on when times are tough, and shes never afraid to stick up for those that can't. She's an advocate of keeping everyone safe, even if its someone in the wrong.

Bio:
With the world burning; clinging to the edge of hope against the seemingly unstoppable invaders the United Earth Government (UEG) sought any possible advantage to turn back or at least buy some respite for their beleaguered forces. The wanderungpanzer program showed promise but the complexities of piloting the craft were too much for a single pilot. So in an effort to produce a pilot capable of doing just that the Níðhöggr (Malice Striker) program was initiated. (Níðhöggr, often anglicized Nidhogg, is a dragon who gnaws at a root of the World Tree, Yggdrasill.)
The UEG program was to leverage advances in genetic manipulation to produce superior assets for operational combat use. The specific goal for Malice Striker was to create ‘super pilots’ with the potential to use the research for other operational areas. While showing great promise the program failed to produce the desired super pilot able to singlehandedly pilot a Wanzer it did have some success. The program ran in four phases the last phase was optimised to produce matched pairs of “Swords” and “Shields”. The Swords were identified as Valkyrja (Valkyrie) Shields as Skjaldmær (Shieldmaiden). 32 Swords and Shields were produced by the program the force of 16 Class A Wanzers leading the first successful counterattack against the alien forces (Caucasus Campaign; Operation Gungnir)
The second wave of the Malice Striker program was green lit before the attacking force had returned to their forward staging base.
The second wave produced only ten Swords and Shields before the aliens attacked and destroyed Vineta Base, effectively ending the program for at least the foreseeable future.

Sigrdrífa is the 9th Sword produced in the second wave of the Malice Striker program and last sword still cleared for combat the others having been lost in battle against the aliens and unofficially to failures in their complex bio and nanotech systems. Her own Shield was lost during classified combat operations on the southern front.

Personality:
Born for combat, literally, she is a diligent and takes her duties and responsibilities seriously, very seriously — she particularly believes in following orders and she expects her lance mates to have the same conviction to duty. She is generally reserved and calm even in combat, lending to her image as nothing more than a killing machine. She is not above mocking her opponents or smirking while in combat.
She will push herself her Shield and her Wanzer to the limit and beyond to complete her assigned mission.
She often gives the impression of being cold and aloof, but she's actually pretending to be strong, trying to adapt and survive as an oddity in a world still on the brink of destruction.

The world was a lot different than when her mother used to be her age.

Diz was born in the desert. Lived her life from the time she could crawl among the saguaro cactus and Joshua trees. Her parents taught her basic survival skills, always making sure that Diz could figure out a way to live. Her days consisted learning what plants were edible, how to skin snakes, and how to hit a scorpion with a rifle from 100 yards.

Not that such was really necessary.

Diz still grew up in the cities, among 'normal' people. As soon as she was able, having heard about the Wanzer program, Diz signed up. Preparing herself for the necessity to fight, and wanting to prove herself, Diz soon showed that she was quite the proficient shield.

Personality:
Diz has what her parents called a "healers heart". It has been what has helped her excel into the Shield position. Wanting to ensure those she is close to are taken care of and safe, Diz always puts others needs ahead of her own.

Bio: Although she's never been there personally, Aiko's grandmother used to tell her all sorts of stories about Osaka, the nation's kitchen.  Aiko likes to claim that it was the loss of the city that has permanently marred her cooking skills, as if some mystic force has been lost from the world which should have made her a fantastic chef.

The past is just as important as the future, since it holds so much of who we were, allowing us to keep from making mistakes and providing signposts for who we should strike to be after sloughing off the alien invasion.  The future, however, is undoubtedly more fun.

According to Aiko, she signed up for M.E.Ch.A. because she didn't have anywhere else that truly fit her.  The only way to make the past return is to plow through and recreate it.  The aliens have proven that the strong set the rules, and so humans have to be strong as well.

Personality: It's easy to imagine that Aiko sees life as one big game.  She's constantly fascinated by old technology even when it's far inferior to what humanity currently possesses.  The little things in life hold a sort of wonder that she uses as a coping mechanism to keep from getting overwhelmed by how terrible things have become.

Bio: Layla only knew life on the run for most of her childhood, raised as part of a resistance shell she shows an amazing aptitude for history as well as electrical and mechanical systems. Some of those around her claimed she was born wearing a tool pouch. Layla has no memory of her younger childhood, nothing before she was seven. No one is sure if she blocked this part of her life or if it was blocked against her will. Layla learned to fight as part of the cell and is skilled with swords, Tai Chi, and Akido. She loves old movies and reading, even though she can’t seem to grasp a great deal of what she reads. Her apptiudte for repair and building seemed to translate well into Wanzers and she was taken in by a pilot after her cell was all killed in a running battle with the invaders. That pilot was killed shortly thereafter leaving Layla with no ties to her past, at least none she knows about given her lost memories.


Personality:Openly shy and reserved but secretly aggressive and rather dominant. Her public face as a shield seems at odds with her dominant nature behind closed doors. She might be open to experimentation but has never considered the idea. Though she seems to grasp history well and has an uncanny skill to repair and build Layla is extremely deficient in other areas, such as math and science. Her use of these skills in her work seem intuitive and if she is asked to explain how she makes of fixes things she has not answer and becomes extremely withdrawn. Layla can seem innocent and naive when dealing with subjects beyond her skill set and in fact, she often is. When she can work on her current projects, of which she usually has several, she is happy. Layla also has the habit of making upgrades to things without getting the owners consent first. She has developed a bit of something akin to kleptomania and is rather skilled at taking items, upgrading them and returning them before they are missed. Layla’s time in the cell and surviving in rough areas has made her initially distrustful of new people but once she forms a bond she is unwaveringly loyal unless overtly betrayed.



Ons: Very tall or every short women, Voluptuous figures, quiet, smart girls, glasses, and girls who know how to use her tongue.
Offs:Sitting still (she is quite dynamic), bodily waste, blood, rude or pushy people.

In the decades to come the waters closed in and washed away permafrost and layers of earth, submerging the bunker and its nuclear silos beneath the waves to become the first crude percursor of the modern underwater city. Life aquatic struggled on in submarine and concrete prison, dark, industrial, haunted. Magdalina was born into this environment of windowless superstition and superscience. She wears the world's last snowflake in her navel piercing.

Out of poorly understood science and an oral tradition of folklore Magdalina's clan conducted dark rituals to imaginary magical gods in hopes of staving off the end of days and placating the weird croons of the deep. Magdalina herself was a highborn, daughter of a witch and so herself believed to hold magical power. When her clan was discovered by the alliance, the very real scientific advancements they had to lend to the war effort came with the caveat of allowing backward cultists into the fold, and at their head, Magdalina.

Personality: Science and witchcraft blend together in Magdalina's mind to what she perceives as a truer understanding of reality. The rest of the world is misguided, ignorant, afraid to confront the truth of vodyanoy and Baba Yaga and Chernobog the Black God. Having received actual worship, Magdalina is a pampered, entitled persona who assumes the right to punish and take pleasure like a medieval lord. She appreciates the dark gothic atmosphere of Maly Kitezh and reproduces it where she's able, leading some to call her a romantic soul. But if Magdalina can own a body heart and mind, she will not hesitate.

I'm thinking about things in terms of the glass bell effect, in which, once the polar caps are melted, the theory is that temperatures can no longer go back to "normal" even if climate change is halted. Fun trumps realism, or our current model of it, in any case.

Bio: Sage's never seen an alien outside of movies. What she's seen wasn't pretty, but it never seemed to matter. Things were bad enough on the ground without shaking her fist at the sky. She barely knew either of her parents. Her father (?) disappeared around the time her mother was pregnant with Gina, and her mother only survived long enough to push Sage's baby sister prematurely into the world. When her Aunt arrived to help with the birth, she'd found a four year old Sage and a tiny infant, both planted on the floor and bawling their eyes out.

Ever since then, it had been Sage and Gina. She never wanted to have a bad thought about her Aunt Leah. The woman tried her best and her addictions weren't her fault, but the fact was the two sisters never had any peace. Sage dropped out of school at a young age so Gina wouldn't have to and worked to support them. Sometimes, when Aunt Leah got behind on the rent and couldn't persuade the landlord to give her another chance, they ended up on the streets. Sage got good at finding hiding spots for Gina to sleep in while she sat up to keep lookout. Wherever they'd have to move, she always made sure to get a library card.

Personality: Sage tries her best, but at times the apathy takes over as a defense against the reality of her situation. She finds it difficult to open up to others. She enjoys things like shoplifting, vandalism and trespass, though she's doing her best to abstain from from her unsavory habits. Despite her lack of education, Sage's pretty bright and a huge reader. And a huge eater, though the two aren't necessarily related. Her biggest hobby, though, is drawing. The walls of everywhere she's lived are covered in her art, including the outdoors places she's been forced to accommodate. Those are often labeled graffiti, though. When faced with (social?) hostility, she's likely to shutdown.

Right. It works fine for you because the image is already cached on your browser. When you view it from another website like Elliquiy, the browser goes "oh wait, I already have that right here" and shows it to you again without sending a request.

But when we try to view it, a request is sent to the host from an Elliquiy hotlink, and the host says no.

If you upload something here to Elluki it'll always show up. You might have noticed in the futa thread posts with nothing or broken images, a lot of the older Finder & Seeker threads get like that because they're hotlinked and directories or policies change, files get deleted. Some of the things I've posted from my own Tumblr just randomly don't load, then do the next week, then don't. Who knows why.

I'd assume the actual pilot combat suits would be similar, i.e. skintight bodysuits but be armored and have life-support functions with a helmet and are fully tailored to the wearer.
I'll look about for some ideas when I get a chance.

Bio: Once a placid, quiet backwater, Lhasa absorbed waves of refugees from Asia and the Subcontinent, becoming a bustling, electric city in a few short decades - the City of Neon Temples. As one of the first generation of the city's new residents, Aurora reflects this new metropolis perfectly.

   But even a loud, bright city and its electric delights can only carry Aurora's attention for so long. Lhasa is isolated, and there's a whole world out there to be seen... and reclaimed. Personality: Aurora is highly active, athletic, and a little temperamental. She says what she means and is easily bored by the mundane. While not aggressive or antagonistic, she can be highly competitive and will sometimes forget the feelings of others. She's quick to apologize for such mistakes though, and is genuinely warm and friendly when outside of the "field of battle." She will sometimes take on a protective "big sister" role, despite not being all that big herself.
