The Outside. A post-apocalyptic world, a land of scorched deserts, water a valuable commodity. A society not much above a Victorian steampunk level of technology. The Wild West meets H G Wells; the "Wild Wells" if you will.

The ruling class are women, the Sisterhood. A branch of their society, the Tranceptors are spies and assassins, or used by the military as infiltrators. Gifted with immense strength, lighting reflexes and some supernatural powers such as limited telepathy or 'Dart-Hand', the ability to launch bolts of energy over short ranges from their fingertips, the Tranceptors travel by fast coaches drawn by pairs of horses. The Tranceptors are known by their costume - not a standardised uniform in the military sense but varying at the individual's taste, it is always black and most often of leather, latex, silks or boned satins. They favour high heeled boots, stockings, corsets and sweeping long hooded cloaks. Wherever they go their authority is assured by means of the physical power they wield and their simple terrifying presence.

In all social interactions everyone addresses them as "Ma'am."

Most of the settlements of the land are small affairs scraping together an existence from mining, scrap metal scavenging, water production and storage or meagre patches of smallholdings that grow enough crops for subsistence. There is a network of railways of a primitive kind equivalent to America in the 1870s with small communities that have grown up around the water tanks that feed the locomotives and are necessary every half a day or so's journey along the rails.

A large town, Iron Gauge is the settlement of interest to us. In the town is a recruiting office for the Corps - a faceless vast military machine that many young men have an urge to join merely to take them away from the mind-numbing tedium in the dirt and dust of the Outside. The Corps is engaged in a never ending conflict far away and of little interest to us. Many young men leave to join up; only a few ever return. Where the Corps fights and for what purpose are unknown and irrelevant to our story.

At a trackside gathering of huts and small industrial units known as Waystation 56 (WS-56) our story starts when a Tranceptor arrives asking the engineers and miners who gather on the dock to jaw over the past and possible future, for directions to Iron Gauge. The woman seems to be in a hurry, her lean horses bathed in sweat, panting and snuffling, their bits flecked with foam, her coach dusty.

A proposed group game. As you will see from the link this game is a mix of fem-dom BDSM, lesbian sex, straight sex, pony girl (and horse boy) fantasy, steampunk and post-apocalypse goodness. The second volume of the comic introduces lactation as food also. There are mutants in the world though only one, an eight foot intelligent lizard with a cock like a donkey and a prehensile tail and tongue to match, named Sslthsss, is of immediate interest to us.

For players, the group game requires nine: Two dominant females, of which I will be taking the role of one: The Tranceptors Ravenna and Asha. Their four horses, for Asha two blonde twin girls Una and Uma and for Ravenna two black-haired stallions Phaeton and Apollo. The mutant lizard Sslthsss who is Ravenna's pet and... associate in crime, and two young men, miners who scrape a living at WS-56, Hyu and Raika who will be caught up in the tangles of intrigue that bind Ravenna and Asha.

There may be other parts later and certainly a number of NPC roles at WS-56.

Not all the male characters are submissive to the Tranceptors though. Raika is an ex-Lieutenant in the Corps and a man of his own mind though around the Tranceptors he shows nothing but frightened respect. Hyu is young and a bit slow, though perhaps that is because of his treatment as the lowest menial at WS-56 and an all-male society there, where his dream to join the Corps is constantly squashed by his fat pipe-smoking foreman-boss, Chun and the controller of WS-56, Master Yi. Sslthsss is unmistakably male and highly intelligent and cruel. He also has a large appetite for sex with women, whether of the Sisterhood or Ponies. The mutant lizard is akin to a ninja, able to move rapidly and almost silently and climb vertical surfaces as long as there is purchase for his claws (such as wood and stone) steel and glass are impossible to climb without other hand-holds such as pipes and ledges. He has razor sharp claws and teeth and is able to bind a victim by winding his long tail around them. The tail can be used as a weapon of sexual assault also and a gag - of frightening length.

Uma and Una, and Apollo and Phaeton as well as Sslthsss are never seen to speak in the comic. The horses always wear bits or merely whinny and moan when not wearing their bits and harness, while Sslthsss merely makes the sound of his name, it seems. Only the true humans speak.

The technology of the game should be considered to be American Wild West, apart from the limited 'magical' ability of the Tranceptors (Asha is a telepath and Ravenna has a Dart-Hand ability - she can punch small waves of kinetic energy over short distances, say within a room and certainly no further than a revolver can accurately shoot). My take is that the dart-hand is more useful in enclosed spaces; outside the kinetic wave pulse (technobabble but bear with me) is more dissipated while within structures it is more contained.

Couriers are referenced in the comic though not seen. These may use horses or they may use 'Motors' which are mentioned in passing though it isn't specified if these are wheeled road vehicles, track mounted railway cars or 'runners' of some sort. I'm open to ideas on this. I think only the Sisterhood uses horses (pony girls and horse boys) since the reaction of the men at WS-56 upon Asha's arrival is one of surprise but clearly they've seen ponies before.

The pony girls and horse boys are not dumb beasts of burden. Though they do not talk they can evidently think and are extremely strong, able to pull a Tranceptor coach at our equivalent of a hard run for half a day or more. They can do spectacular kicks and have a high sexual drive as it is common to give them release at the end of a day's work when they are being scrubbed and washed down. The two female and two male horses would suit players who enjoy submissive characters and who in the boys' case are not averse to some M/M goings on. The pony girls metabolism has been altered so that they lactate easily and the milk is an all-encompassing high protein food. Likewise the horse boys ejaculate is nutritious and used by their Tranceptor owner as food and drink in The Outside. The horse boys ejaculate very strongly and for about a minute when they orgasm, thus it is an intensely pleasurable task for them to be used to feed anyone. They can also reach pleasure frequently without tiring.

Sslthsss is in a class of his own as regards sexual prowess; "He never tires," Ravenna taunts Asha as the lizard is raping her back door.

* * *

The game will be centred around a battle of wits and cunning between the two Tranceptors - one is doing wrong, the other trying to understand why and to foil her plans - though which one is 'good' and which 'bad' is not known. A vital document from the Sisterhood archives was stolen by Asha on Ravenna's request - the two were lovers and partners before the game starts, though why is not yet clear. Ravenna sent Sslthsss into Asha's room to steal the papers from her trunk in the dead of night but Asha foiled him, not knowing who he was or what he was. She then fled with the documents towards Iron Gauge with Ravenna in pursuit but not knowing Ravenna sent Sslthsss to raid her room and still believing Ravenna to be her partner.

I see this game as a mix of fem-dom BDSM, Victorian Wild West Steampunk, latex lesbian romp, corporate/white collar crime puzzle and pony girl/horse boy submissive play. There won't be many roles for dominant males but several for submissive males and females and some males that are neither dom or sub. Everyone who applies should be prepared to play same sex scenes - the horse boys might be had by Sslthsss or used as weapons by Ravenna to rape unwilling males, or be ordered to perform orally on men as gifts - and of course their ejaculate is a source of food so men may need to partake as well... and of course there is a lot of F/F and M/F activity too. If M/M is not your thing we can fade to black but it will be going on, but if you don't wish to be explicit about it we can cater for that.

I would like players to roleplay characters of their forum gender please and all character images will be drawn from the comic, or similar styled artwork.

I would like to follow the comic's plotline initially quite closely until we reach the end of Vol.2 where the published comic ends with every question still unanswered and from there I have a plot in place to continue on at Iron Gauge.

EDIT: I just fixed my terrible spelling and clarified a tiny part about Asha and Ravenna's relationship. Also I have not found the name of one of the main ladies in the comic, so 'Asha' is my invention. I've read it through several times trawling for names but could see it, if anyone finds it please let me know.

Note that the game is going to be as much about the puzzle of why Ravenna wanted the documents stolen as much as anything else, so it's a crime-puzzle as well as a good excuse for some porn and some complex characters.

Caught the PM just as I was getting ready to leave, but after reading through some of the comic I believe I'd be quite interested in taking part!  Specifically in the role of Sslthsss, if that would be alright.

Jessica

I'm just going through the comic and idea now, and, provided I have the available time, I would be very interested in taking part. As a complete sucker for pony play I'm quite interested in Una and Uma, though I'll read the comic through properly to make sure I could play the role to a high standard.  Watch this space!

I knew you'd pick him.  :P

There is a volume 2 out, if you go to filestube.com and search under 'tranceptor' you will find it, though its a rather poor scan :(

No other volumes released as far as I know.

Crovonovin

I can't help it if I'm drawn towards monsters and beasties!  That, and I think it'll be interesting to portray the mind of a creature that can't properly vocalize what he's thinking.  Even if what he's thinking is "Steal documents, fuck women, run away!"

I'm honestly wondering about one of the Ponyboys, but I never really RPed any M/M. I think for this particular RP (as a half-beast) I could make allowances. It doesn't look like they have much to do other than run, suck, and fuck. Let me read the comics and see if I can get in mode.

Yes, it's possible the horse boys and pony girls do not come across as worthwhile characters in the comics. However we can take them in other directions if we feel that the material that deals with them in the comics is too limited. In Vol.2 Uma and Una do get a fairly raunchy sex scene with Hyu whilst fully out of their pony gear so I see no reason why the boys couldn't also have similar fun with either Ravenna or some other female if M/M isn't to your liking.

Vostroya

I'll go ahead and through in my interest as one of the ponyboys or Hyu which ever one is needed more.

Haibane

I've had a friend PM me with some questions about the horse boys and pony girls and since my answer bore a lot on how they could be played I'm copying it here:

* * * * * * *

I see the pony girls and horse boys as 100% human. Their bodies have been tampered with inwardly (I'm guessing some form of DNA messing, hormones and probably training from birth for this duty), and I see them as a 'set aside special social class' with its own Guild and such. So that the characters are more attractive to play I think this could even be an elite class of citizen. I'm trying to think of some parallel from history but can't really except for the Hindu caste system (but in our case the lower caste horses aren't lower caste but even looked up to), or you could think of them as like the respected concubines of a medieval King or Lord. Rather restricted to what they can and can't do but still of a higher social order.

Their training and regime can be likened to Feudal Japan's ninja class such that they are extraordinarily fit, supple, strong and limber, being able to run as I said for about half a day without being too worn out. As the fight scene at Waystation 56 showed they can do some spectacular kick boxing moves, even with their arms trussed behind them. In the comic they never speak though often that is because they wear bit gags. In the second volume there is a scene where Uma and Una are out of the traces and playing nude in a water reservoir tank. They then have a rather steamy sex scene with Hyu but again neither says a word. Maybe they can't talk at all? Not sure.

I think the ponies and horses would only appeal to an especially submissive player to have as characters though as I said already I can forsee scenes where Phaeton and Apollo might get some good sexyfun in, especially if they are used as weapons of mass destructive rape as you might say though that would be on Ravenna's orders I suspect.

Vostroya

Interesting, thanks for the update, Still interested in either roles I posted earlier.

Haibane

You're on the list! Still waiting for any more interest.

Raika to me is the most interesting male character in the comics, he gets especially interesting in Vol.2... Vol.1 which I linked to doesn't do him justice though you get a good idea of his personality from the bottom panels of P.27. I gave a download-only link for Vol.2 above, I do recommend you take a look.

Beyond Vol.2 we are on our own, I have a basic idea in place for the stolen documents but building on the characters as given we can play in whichever direction we like. I would just be feeding the key characters chunks of intel as we went along.

Vostroya

I have both volumes along with a lot of Manning's work if you need any copies. I am a big fan of his work. Do you see the Story moving into a more urbanized setting or are you going to try and keep it within the rural setting that it was based on?

Haibane

Iron Gauge is mentioned several times but not why the Tranceptors are heading there, so yes, I see the story going there as the next big scene. I imagine it to be a fairly large place and quite industrialised, perhaps an HQ of the railway with associated heavy engineering?

After that, while I have a very vague plot in place it could go in several directions. The sea gets a mention too, in Hyu's daydreaming I think, so maybe that might play a part.

What were your thoughts on the Corps and the kind of organisation it is and the job it is doing? Is it fighting a war or is it engaged in a long term police action?

Vostroya

Yeah the way the world seems to be it comes into my mind as a kind of steam punk city, but maybe not full blown airships and the like since this is probably still the middle years of a Post Apocalyptic recovery, meaning that some technology had been relearned or recovered but there is still a long road ahead. It would give a basis for the massively strong power base that they Tranceptory has right now. Since in this world knowledge would be the ultimate form of power in this world it would make since that they have a form of control over who progresses out of the stone age, that combined with their special powers mentioned in Vol. 2. The powers to the most likely ignorant masses would be seen as a sort of Magic and would help explain the Tranceptor's overbearing influence when they roll into a rural town.

The Corps I see as having to fight two different types of war, first they would have to fight to ensure that the rural communities stay loyal to the Tranceptor's, of which there are probably several rebellions that are kept quiet, and having to fight outside competing communities to protect their own power base, since mass, reliable communication isn't available, nor is mass transit outside of the major cities. Small rebellions are probably common place because the Corps are stretched thin over so many different assignments. I see the tranceptor's as having absolute power but it would be hard to truely make large changes to the rural communities without showing up in person or sending the Corps in as their enforcers of law.

Of course this is only my opinion and is open

Haibane

What you say is all very sensible and believable stuff. I too think there is no flight technology in this world beyond tethered balloons perhaps for military observation. Given the general flavour of what we see of Waystation 56 I'd place the technology level in the 1870s, possibly the 1880s just before reliable machine guns are invented.

The railway confuses me a little since steam power needs both water and wood (or coal) and both are rare Outside (as I call it), maybe the trains use a crude early heavy oil engine, though this still needs reasonable technology. Or wind power. Landyachts and the like. Perhaps we shouldn't dwell on too many details like this and just use steam trains.

I tend to see the Outside as fairly peaceful with people content with their lot in life so apart from a monthly patrol of soldiers going through policing the small communities isn't a big deal; perhaps a Deputy or some sort is enrolled and he reports to the local Tranceptor SChool every so often.

I saw the Corps as more occupied in a border war and so largely a distant almost mythical organisation. Heavy engineering is clearly around and steam power so the most efficient form of moving troops around rapidly would be by trains or steam ships.

Thanks for this discussion, its helping me firm up some ideas of where the plot can go, and why.

Vostroya

Yeah same thoughts here, we probably shouldn't try to understand the story in all of its entirety unless we could speak to the man directly, otherwise we should probably just go with it lol.

Read the comic, and though interesting, I wasn't able to create anything I could really groove with. I'll have to pass this one by, but I thank you kindly for the consideration!

Is this game going to be a rehash of the comic's plot? I haven't read it, I'm just wondering 'cause it seemed unclear from your original post.
A book, a woman, and a flask of wine: /The three make heaven for me; it may be thine / Is some sour place of singing cold and bare — / But then, I never said thy heaven was mine.

From my understanding, Haibane's plan is to follow the comic's plot right up until the end of chapter 2 or so, and from there we will be continuing with original material.

Though now that I think on it, I can see where some people might be a bit iffy on that.  For a character like Ssthss I'm basically making everything up, but until we get to that point everyone else basically has their dialogue already written for them.  So I take it much of the focus will be on internal reactions and the like?  Or can variations within the first two chapters occur so long as everything ends up in the same place?

Haibane

Yes, Shihong has it about right. Follow the story but add our own thoughts and extras and character backstory.

On the other hand I want to make the game appealing to people of course, so there's no point putting people off by insisting we do it a certain way and they'd rather not. If we do not play out the first two volumes actual story we will still consider all that to have happened and we'll start at the end of the second volume. There are some really cool scenes in both volumes though, which even though we have the images and text in front of us I know from past experience that you can have a fantastic game even when following an existing story closely.

However if players would rather not do that we can rethink and start later and create our own original material though I have plans to keep the central plot of the two Tranceptors in opposition to each other and the stolen archive papers will have a major plot-driving purpose. Raika I think will have an important role to play as an ex-corps officer (which is revealed in Vol.2 if you've not read it).

Perhaps you could let me know if following the first two chapters more-or-less as the comic plays them out would interest you or not? Thanks!

Hi.  I would like to join in, as one of the male ponies is they are still open.
"Are you into whips and chains too?"
"No, chainsaws."  (just kidding)
