Yes, some of us probably wouldn't slip on that one even if we tried.

I like the memory adage for types of stars too: "Oh, Be A Fine Girl and Kiss Me Right Now Sweetie!"  :P (the last three are often dropped because the types of stars they were for are rarely linked to those letters anymore). It has a half "camp" quality that strikes a note with me.

The sun is a G2 star, by the way.

All well and good, but the mnemonic for Neptun here is Neun (i.e. Nine). That's a wee bit of a problem if you the count goes up to ten planets.  XD

I suppose you could solve that by replacing it with "Neu" (= New), but it would still violate my sense of nostalgia.  :D ;)
