Our Hedonist Dream Vacation Lottery winners have all been chosen. If anyone is interested in joining as a late comer then please head on over to the OOC thread and read over the info/sign up.  I'll let you know when you can start posting.







Basic Information

• Looking for Men & Women to play in a modern/human setting
• Will need about 8-12 players (4-6 men & 4-6 women /  we can go with more but the numbers have to be even)
• Role Play will be Freeform but there's a hook(no systems - see below for specifics)
• This will be a Light: Human Small Group role play.
  (...'typical' consensual sex (e.g., the Kama Sutra, no real pain, largely equal) that feature characters who are human in form... and either male or female gender)
• Looking for people that can post at least a couple times a week.  2-3 paragraphs+ each time is preferred. Extra detail is good.
• This will be male/female pairings (see Hook for details below)

Dream Vacation Lottery - A Hedonist's Fantasy
"Hedonism is a sandbox for your inner child, nourishment for the mind, body, spirit and soul. Pleasure comes in many forms. Choose one. Or two. Or more."

Premise

The players are a group of individuals (single or married) that have signed up for a Hedonist Get-Away Dream Vacation lottery sponsored by a wealthy couple.  The selected winners of the lottery (our players) will receive tickets for the dream vacation.


The Role Play

This will take place in two channels (Threads.)

1)  Will be a Freeform role play where the guests (players) may interact freely with one another in what I will call "The Day Time" setting.

This will follow the usual standard rules (No god-modding or meta-gaming. Respect each other & characters.)

In the beginning and periodically I will halt the Freeform Day Time RP thread and move it forward in time to each designated new vacation spot. (Yes, our other channel 2 (Thread) will move from location to location. See next description.)


2) The Hook/Concept Thread (IMPORTANT - Please Read)

- I will create a setting and atmosphere (that will change as the story progresses.)  (Ex: We'll say a Hotel for the first little while, then maybe a mansion or cruise ship for the next.)  I will include any necessary Non-Player Characters that are free for all to use.

- I will post player's room assignments (These will be randomly assigned by me.)  This will be the person you'll be sharing your room with for the next couple of evenings.

- One player from each assigned couple (roommates) will write a story/post to describe the nights spent with their roommate.
(Yes, they will write the full story for the nights spent together and control both characters and possibly NPC's.)

- Couples will be randomly assigned by me and change up every couple nights in game time.

- We will swap posters on each swap of couples.
(So first we will have all the women post, then after the swap, all the men will post.)

NOTE:    Each writer should consult their partners character bio information and personal info to write a story that they feel would appeal to both of them and try to keep each other "In character" as much as possible.   The whole fun of this type of role play posting is seeing how others write your character for you and interacts with them. Remember! Do Your Best To Respect Each Other!

After that then players can talk freely about the RP in an OOC fashion in the thread.

Background/Personal Info:  James had actually heard of the Hedonist Dream Vacation Lottery the previous year because his wife was one of the winners. She had told him the day of her departure of the contest and what the reward entailed...something he wasn't quite pleased with when he found out and was furious, ready to end their marriage if she went. She had left anyways. When she returned, he was ready to take her straight to the lawyer's office to draw up papers when he noticed something different about his wife. She had a new look or aura about her that intrigued him. Needless to say, that night she returned, she acted as if nothing bad had happened between him and they had the most passionate night of love-making they ever had in their 10 years of marriage. And after that night...she would bring home friends to introduce to him...girls for him at first, guys for her later. Thus, James learned to love the life of embracing any and all new pleasures, and became closer with his wife than he ever had before.

As luck would have it, a joke gift from his wife, an entry into the Hedonist Dream Vacation Lottery, turned out to be quite lucky for James. She had bought it as a reminder of how their new life had started one night, and he had almost thrown it away. He was very glad it wasn't when he found out that it was a winning ticket! Now he was off to find out what his wife had experienced that had changed both their lives.
