Lost Tribe of the Jedi(Jedi Pathfinder game!)

I found a Jedi conversion for Pathfinder and I just have to go use it in a group game. Which is located in this handy hyperlink:

For anyone that read the Lost Tribe of the Sith, this is basically the same setup. The three of you crash land on a unknown planet, that for ease of use is basically your standard pathfinder high fantasy setting, with no technology besides your lightsabers. I am also loosely using the term Jedi here, since the old order wasn't very fond of sexy times, and we cannot have any of that! Luckily there are plenty of loopholes for this, since we can just claim that you all are not followers of the mainstream Jedi Code and come up with your own.

That also frees you up to being neutral and being able to use dark side powers without much moral issue. Crash landing on the planet and being free to do whatever they hell you please. Try to repair your starship? Conquer the natives in Force powered super orgies? Travel the lands righting evils with Force powered super orgies? Choices choices choices....

-3 Players.
-Level 6.
-4d6 regular stat roll.
-If you want to play a star wars race just ask and I'll mash something together.
-Standard gold. But to make things easier you can only spend your gold on your lightsaber crystal as per the rules.
-Bribery will get you everywhere.

Denoting interest. I can't check out the conversion in detail right now, but I do like me some Star Wars, especially if the characters can have a Dark Side leaning. Mayhaps a Zeltron with secret ambitions.

Like I said you are free to open up which ever force path you want. I just titled it as such because it is a play on a EU novel.

I haven't even looked at the Pathfinder stuff, but color me intrigued.  Sexy evil sith fun?  I'd be up for it, if you didn't already get the 3 players out of this post.

You don't have to be Sith to do the fun stuff. Sith are mostly buzzkills that only care about power, not to have fun for fun sake. Nothing wrong with being a rogue Jedi that is all about the sexy times and wooing the ladies with Force Persuasion.

The 7 different lightsaber forms are actually philosophical ideologies that you can ascribe to. This can lead to quite a varied characters even with the same class.

Form I: Shii-Cho. Relies on disarming opponents than just killing them, and is more of a passive philosophy catering to the Jedi Code. But it is weak towards lightsaber vs. lightsaber combat since it was invented before such combat even existed.
Form II: Makashi. Proper Duelist fighting stance that relies on minimal effort to a proper defense, while exploiting enemy defensive openings and counterstrikes. It was designed to be a counter to Form I.
Form III: Soresu. Purely defensive combat style that relies on a constantly moving blade to parry and deflect both melee and ranged attacks but lacks heavily in offensive capability. More geared towards people who want to fatigue their enemies and try to reason with them, not to strike them down.
Form IV: Ataru. The acrobatic style of lightsaber combat, best employed in open spaces against a single opponent. An all offensive style that relied upon surrendering to The Force to go beyond physical limitations. Very aggressive form of combat.
Form V: Shien / Djem So. A upgrade from Form III that took defensive strikes and flowed them into offensive attacks. Using it against a opponent and using their own attacks against them, either by blaster shot deflection or altering lightsaber strikes. The form encourages aggression and domination.
Form VI: Niman. Takes a generalized step out of the previous forms and melds them into a single form that has no overall strength or weakness. Instead it relies on Force Powers to disrupt and defeat your enemy. Using Telekinesis and mind altering to distract and slow your opponent instead of using elaborate lightsaber technique.
Form VII: Juyo. The single most aggressive lightsaber style, where it employes chaotic and aggressive strikes to wear down your foe in expense of defense. Jedi frown on it since it is too aggressive for those whom desire peace and tranquility in their lives, but Sith rely on it heavily.

Who doesn't love Twi'leks? You will have to remember that nobody on this planet has seen aliens before, so walking about with your head tails fluttering about will be quite a distraction.

I don't think you can get force lightning at level 6.

At level 6 you get level 3 force powers, and the closest one is lightning bolt to sith lightning.

I suppose that's where my problem to the class is... for the most part, the Jedi class is all Guardian.  Don't get me wrong, I like the idea, but I'm analyzing it from a game perspective... there's no real play to a Consular type, because it's all based around lightsaber combat.  Sure, the RP style is different, as you stated, and that would appear in the different forms, but if you didn't want to be a duelist, the class doesn't really offer any other option.

Meh, it is functional enough. Players have plenty of options to make their character unique, with lightsaber forms, crystal powers, force powers, feats, and so forth.

Also, muywhahaha, I did my tradition of gambling on national holidays. It is, oddly enough, when I have te best luck, as I went from 40 dollars to 95 dollars in about 15 minutes with craps. Being the paragon of self discipline I got out of there while the getting was hot.

Which means new lightsaber for me. One more left and I'll have the full color spectrum!
