Just what it says on the tin  ;D

Basically, I'd be interested in doing a one-on-one horror story. I don't have anything specific in mind here, although I do have some preferences:

  • No zombies. They just aren't that interesting to me. The same goes for werewolves. Vampires... I do like them, but I don't think I would like this particular story to feature them
  • I admit I have soft spot for these horror stories where horror meets some mystery. I like stories of people that need, in some way, to get to the bottom of supernatural occurences, understand what's going on etc. It's not a necessity for this story, though! Just... a suggestion.
  • I'd like to play a female character in this story. The gender of my writing partner's character(s) could be anything, though.
  • I'd really want this story to be scary. A kind of story I can't stop reading, but also one that really gives me some pleasant chills.

So, any takers? If so, please PM me :)

BTW. I recently posted some brief ideas for RPs involving horror cultists. Maybe these could serve as some inspiration for ideas for this particular horror story?

So... I've started watching Penny Dreadful recently (please don't give me any spoilers! I'm only at episode 4...) and I thought: how about some Victorian horror? If anyone would be interested in doing such a story, I'd love to play in it.

One thing, though: Penny Dreadful uses all those pre-existing characters: Frankenstein, Dorian Gray etc. I actually wouldn't be interested in a story like that. I'd be more interested in something original. No nods to popular culture, just a creepy, dark story of Victorian people encountering something terryfing...

Does anyone have any ideas for such a story? If so, please PM me :)

It's been over a month, so I thought I could give a bump to this request :)

I'm still looking for some sort of scary story... something dark and atmospheric. It could be something set in Victorian era (because: Penny Dreadful - what a show...), but it could be something else, including modern times or some sort of future. Whatever goes!
