Cravings

Anything in this cravings thread..

"GRA" or "Double Blind" in longer and/or more "plotty" plots with kink elements. In a game where there are significant kink elements, I am currently only interested in subbing/bottoming at the moment.

Something light and fun. I'm not looking for a super serious terrorfest; I just want something largely consensual with some fun characters. 

Writing a sub/bottom. I have so many amazing partners, but - as you can see if you visit my game tracker in my A&As - I'm nearly exclusively writing the top role in my active games, so this switch is looking for a little balance!

A relaxed posting rate. It's a busy time in life for me - at least a post on weekends and a post midweek is ideal, but I'm not necessarily looking for a we-have-to-post-daily kind of feel right now.

Saturnalia

Currently in play.

Premise: In ancient Rome, part of the celebration of Saturnalia was a license for slaves to disrespect their masters during the festival without repercussions. In the country in which the game is set, they've enacted a process they've called Saturnalia in an effort to discourage abuse of slaves: each year, the government selects a member of each extended slave-owning family to complete a Saturnalia, 24 hours in which the master must submit to the slave with no future retribution for the slave's actions. The slave may not permanently injure their master, but otherwise no holds are barred, and people have horror stories of their Saturnalias. X's family is large enough that each member rarely has to complete a Saturnalia, which is good, as they're among the hardest on their slaves - they're well-respected for their beautifully trained, well-restrained, silent slaves, but such training doesn't come without a price. X was approaching his two-year anniversary of owning his slave when his name came up - his Saturnalia was to fall on exactly the day he was given his slave. Goody.

I'm not interested in violent revenge porn, though kink levels are negotiable. I'm more interested in playing with what happens when someone with ultimate power is stripped of it, or what it's like when someone who's always been little more than a clever object suddenly becomes a person. Maybe they just have a really interesting day of mutual discovery, maybe they have really hot sex, maybe they fall a little in love - who knows?

Behind Closed Doors

Premise: X is a tough guy, the son of an organized crime syndicate that more or less owns the town. Businesses pay a fee to be protected or left alone; retribution for lack of payment is swift and brutal. Z runs a small business – a bar, a coffee shop, a bookstore, who knows – and doesn’t make enough to keep all the plates spinning. The end of the month is always tense, because everyone knows that, sooner or later, the bill won’t be paid and X is going to burst in and sweep Z away for a “little talk.” Of course, nobody knows what really happens behind closed doors, and it isn’t Z taking the beating.
Seeking: A partner to play a character who seems wildly unlikely to be a top who my character visits for a little slap-and-tickle, or more. I’m looking for a light, fun, kink-heavy game here. We could figure out how they start this arrangement, or hop into it as it’s preexisting. Maybe they’re just play partners, maybe they’re friends, maybe a forbidden romance is blooming in their occasional encounters – who knows? Let’s work it out.
Other Options: I’m not opposed to putting something of a fantasy spin on this – vampires v. werewolves, urban fae, whatever. Definitely contemporary urban setting, though.

Somewhat Longer or Plottier Plots with Kink Elements

BDSM elements are inherent in these plots - all take place in a world in which some kind of slavery or indentured servitude is taken for granted - but I'm interested in the emotional lives of the characters and the ways in which they connect to each other and the world around them. These plots are designed for romance, exploration of society, etc. that is sometimes facilitated via kinky shenanigans - if kinky shenanigans alone are more your speed, check out the shorter, smuttier games above!

Double Blind
Genders: Any; pronouns are just for the sake of clarity.

Premise: Slavery has always been a problem, but the wealthy are getting particularly bold - bold enough that several government agencies have decided they have to step in with undercover operatives. She's agreed to go undercover as a potential slave, posing as a younger woman kidnapped over a spring break to track the process. In another corner of the agency, he's agreed to go undercover among a group of slaving enthusiasts and allow them to mentor him in choosing and training a slave to get information about the various players. When he acquires her, neither of them know that the person with whom they're working the closest...isn't part of the system at all.

I think there's a lot of fun to be had with the situation. How/do they find out about each other? What is their relationship like?

Untrained
Genders: M/m, M/f

Premise: Apparently lots of countries have new indentured servitude laws now that let someone sign themselves away for a while or forever to pay off debts, escape bad situations, whatever...but nobody from outside those countries thinks about all the people it takes to make a system run. Everyone knows about trainers who help prepare new slaves to be acquiescent to their new masters or mistresses, but Untrainers are equally skilled. Untrainers take slaves who have been removed or given up from their placements and aren't yet suitable for another due to their poor in-placement training (abuse, neglect, etc.) and resocialize them - like foster homes for puppies - to be ready to go out again without further trauma.
Seeking: A partner to play the Untrainer, who helps the slave go on a journey back to something like wholeness so they can move on to serve someone else.

Sanctuary
Genders: Any; the pronouns in the prompt are just for the sake of clarity.

Premise: The relationship never got off the ground long enough to determine if his interest in BDSM - with an emphasis on the D and S - would be a bump in the road; she had a feeling she would fall hard if she got too close, and so she nipped the relationship in the bud. She had dreams outside the tiny hometown, things to do, a person to be. When everything falls to pieces, though, nothing sounds better than having someone else take control for a while.
Seeking: A local with a doorstep ready and waiting for a former lover to come looking for help and healing. Looking for something light and warm for this one. This is a do-over or opportunity they never thought they'd get and ultimately a good thing for both of them, even if it's borne out of some seriously unfortunate circumstances. (That doesn't mean that there can't be a moderate-to-high level of kink, that's definitely present, but this is about mutual support and discovery and good things coming out of rock bottom.)
Other Options: Maybe they were never involved; maybe they were friends, or MC was YC's best friend's older sibling and they never dated because it would've been weird when they were younger.

Premise: The student is whip-smart and on the tail end of an MA program, applying for PhDs. The professor is young, a rising star in the field, and recently published a book that made a huge splash and hit the stands just in time to bolster the student’s research – their research interests couldn’t be a better fit. But the professor is at an expensive and highly competitive school, and the student isn’t willing to risk not getting in, or not getting the funding they need to go, or not getting to study under the professor they want. They’ll do anything to land the graduate research assistantship they need…even if the research is more hands-on than they were planning.
Seeking: A partner to play the professor. There are definitely elements of the conventional fucking-the-teacher plot here, but I’m not interested in a plot that centers on sneaky sex; I’m interested to see what happens if both the professor and student try to keep their dual roles scrupulously separated. This plot is all about the conflicts and contrasts – the brilliant student dominating in the classroom and submitting at home, spending hours writing a paper and pleasuring the professor while they grade them, fighting over a few points on a grade in office hours and being forced to go with the flow in life matters, etc.

We can discuss if the student or professor brings the possibility up, what they study, kinks involved, etc., but I’m very much looking for a partner who’s willing to play an intelligent character and tie in the academic aspect, not just use it as a setting.
Other Options: Perhaps the home life never goes to class, but class life comes home – rewards for good behavior or punishment for mistakes. I think other students and faculty definitely don’t know what’s happening, but playing with how that secret stays kept could be fun

I don't have plots where these elements necessarily fit, but I'm intrigued by them, so let me know if you see ways to incorporate them:
♥Rurality. I think small-towns - especially tourist communities where there are locals who live in that quasi-liminal space - are really interesting.
♥Contemporary fae. I've been on an urban fae reading kick lately - I'd like to play with some!
♥Skilled manual labor. I'm interested in playing a character that builds houses, works as a mechanic, something along those lines - the ways we tend to undervalue the skill sets of those workers (and the ways those jobs are classed and gendered in the public imagination) intrigues me.
♥People who shouldn't normally know each other. I'm not looking for "forbidden" romance or other human connections, but playing with the unexpected is fun.

Premise: For some reason, it is imperative that this character be kept completely helpless - perhaps they're being hidden for a couple of days until the deal they want to mess up goes through, perhaps they're being punished, perhaps they're being prepared for something. Regardless, I'm interested to play with what happens when someone is rendered as immobile and dependent as possible, reliant on others for all their most basic needs.
Seeking: A victim or a captor. This could go high-tech (catheters, feeding tubes, etc.) or low-tech (spoon feeding, something like diapers), but I'm interested in playing with immobility. Obviously this can only go on so long - maybe it's just a quick one shot, maybe it's the precursor to a larger game; we can decide.

Premise: Sexual incompatibility is a major problem for couples. In a society that is somehow both sex-obsessed and strangely puritanical, lots of people bring a great deal of shame to their marriage beds. That’s where Limitless comes in. The company offers immersive experiences with trained professionals designed to equip individuals to have healthier sex lives with their partners not just through exposure therapy to the things they worry about, but overexposure. The company pushes clients to the extreme opposite end of their personal limits in order to allow them to be more comfortable finding a happy medium with their partner.
The company’s made a big splash in the news, but there’s little information about what actually happens. When a reporter finds out that their friend who works for Limitless has an unbooked weekend coming up, they sign up to find out what the fuss is about and write a career-boosting piece.
Seeking: A partner to play either the reporter or the reporter’s friend. I’m looking for extreme kinks in a nurturing environment – they are, after all, friends, and working for Limitless is as much about working through emotional boundaries as physical ones. How does this affect their friendship? Does the reporter have some limits of their own they want to work through, or are they going to discover limits they didn’t know they had? Let’s work it out.

Longer Plots with Significant Kink Elements

Premise: They were desperately in love, and their families couldn't have been happier. The wedding was simple and perfect, she'd been beautiful, the groomsmen had teased him for crying. Her family and community had expected that she would wait for marriage, and she had; he hadn't, and it had been written off as youthful indiscretion, but he'd been more than happy to wait for her and keep their contact pre-wedding at chaste kisses. He'd been gentle and careful on their wedding night, but she'd found herself upset, unsure how to flip the mental switch that physical pleasure was now okay and stuck between a rock and a hard place wanting to both honor her husband's wishes and not feel like a bad person. He'd made her a promise: they wouldn't have sex again until she wanted it...and he would do his best to help her want it using tools from a past he'd only hinted at having.

I'm looking for a sweet, romantic story about a husband helping his wife learn to love her body a little at a time. I would love to incorporate chastity play and light bondage (so, no wacky props or devices, just something like tying her hands to the headboard so she feels less responsible for enjoying his attentions - a play on submitting to her husband, for sure) into a pleasant little slice-of-life game.
Seeking: A partner to play the wife (who is hopefully an interesting, successful person having a bit of a hiccup rather than a dishrag.)
Note: This plot is not intended as a criticism of folks who wait for marriage or faith communities who encourage waiting for marriage, only a way to acknowledge that sometimes the message of "sex is special" is communicated as "sex is bad," and that makes uncrossing those wires later a challenge.

Premise: It's a tale as old as time: the noble and the peasant, childhood friends turned would-be adult lovers and torn asunder by their stations. But not every kingdom (or whatever unit of governance) has a bona fide witch in its midst, and not every peasant in love with a noble is brave or foolish enough to seek her aid. The witch makes a deal: she will transform the peasant into [a spy from a conflicting unit of governance? an "unwilling" bride? a slave? something else that would put the peasant under the noble's control with the potential for things to go terribly wrong?], and if the noble proves themselves able to be merciful and just in their dealings when they don't recognize their beloved, the enchantment will be broken and they will be able to live happily ever after. Should the noble fail, however - should they eschew mercy in favor of violence and blind justice - the peasant will be stuck transformed forever, doomed to see only the worst of their beloved for the rest of their days.
Seeking: A partner to play the young noble person (perhaps a prince or princess, or some other will-be-leader) tasked with finding a solution to their problem and making a choice about how they'll mete out mercy and justice in their rule.
When You PM Me: Shoot me an idea of what's going on! What situation would give the noble the opportunity and motivation to gain through vengeance, violence, choose-your-vice that they might instead choose to deal with differently?

Premise: People in a position of power are expected to wield it expertly, and how better to do so than by training your personal slave to do your bidding perfectly in all things? It's a highly visible testament to one's ability to lead, which means the stakes of doing it well are high, and the more prestigious your slave was when they began, the better. Of course, "prestigious" slaves are hard to come by - it's not a choice someone with alternatives makes. So when the child of a prominent local family goes on the market to help cover family debts that unexpectedly came due, or a formerly friendly neighboring country offers one of their heirs as part of a treaty negotiation, well, you take your new, high-ranking slave and thank the stars that one was available. Except...it's harder to train someone you know. Especially if you were friends - perhaps, in the back of your mind, had even once thought of being more. But it has to be done.

Basically, I'm looking for someone in a position of power - a prince/ss or someone else who needs to prove their leadership ability - to be tasked with turning someone who was once a friend into their flawlessly trained personal servant. I'm interested in seeing what happens when affection has to be balanced by strictness, and what happens when both parties are genuinely trying their best, but the situation is just hard. I'm definitely interested in potential romance and definitely interested in seeing how non-sexual tasks play into things.   
Seeking: A partner to play a deeply ambitious young person with a strict training regiment and a warring fondness for the person they knew before they owned them.

Damned by Decree
Genders: M/m

Premise: The elite members of this country own slaves - it's just what they do. When a man comes of age, his father helps him purchase his first home and gives him his personal slave, an outlet for pleasures and frustrations that must be meticulously trained and controlled. Slaves are from all over, domestic and foreign, but with the application of a recent highly-sought peace treaty a new rule comes into play: slaves from a specific neighboring country must be released immediately. Masters who refuse to do so face the steepest penalties, being enslaved themselves and having their newly freed slaves given both them and all their holdings. But what happens if you didn't know where your slave was from, or never thought to ask? A nasty surprise in the courtroom.
Seeking: A partner to play the illegal slave - most ideal would be someone at least a little switchy, so we could start a touch before the swap to establish contrast. Treatment of the slave has been not sadistic, but certainly very strict, enough so that they've almost never spoken before he is freed and given his former master as a slave. I'm not looking for revenge porn, but rather to explore what happens when worlds are turned on their heads and new relationships have to emerge, hopefully culminating in something like a romance.
Other Options: A potential avenue for exploration is also how other members of society react. Depending on how forward it's accepted to be with your friends' slaves, there are potentially some really interesting situations with the former slave trying to act as a member of society or members of society interacting with their friend-turned-slave.

Somewhat Longer or Plottier Plots without Significant Kink Elements

This section is for plots that may or may not involve romantic connections, but that won't necessarily involve any kink elements or sex at all. I will continue to add plots here, but this area also runs particularly high to plot bunnies, settings, and other micro-elements that we can cobble together into something if we'll complement each other as writers. Please do make sure to check out my Ons and Offs, however, before pitching other ideas from said bunnies and bits!

Patching Things Up with the Pack
Genders: Probably not F/f, otherwise whatever!
Board: Light, BON
Premise: A missing werewolf has been chained in a junkyard for years, a silver collar keeping them from changing back to human form. When a member of a family long known for working against werewolves happens upon them and steals them, or offers the junkyard owner more for their "dog" than they're willing to refuse, it's anyone's guess whether they're speeding up the death that was slowly coming all along...or whether they're going to bring about a bright new day between their clans.

This game could go lots of ways - the wolf may or may not realize that the human who's taken them knows they're a werewolf, and the human may or may not reveal that they know what the wolf is. The human might be planning on continuing the family business and dispatching the wolf after they have a chance to ask them in human form about the rest of their pack, or they may be setting out to put some better karma in the universe by saving this particular werewolf. The question of when and how the wolf chooses to or is coaxed to transform to human form is an interesting one here. Regardless, there's some reason the two of them are spending a little time together (I imagine the human helping the wolf get back to health, but you might have other thoughts), and I'm imagining an exploration of that time.

Out of the Dark

Premise: Given that this is inspired by the backstory from an old tale, this is set in the Harry Potter universe, but I'd be open to changing the setting if we thought of something else. Becoming a Death Eater seemed like a good idea before the Dark Lord fell - following in the family footsteps, the chance to become somebody. Things turned fast when the Dark Lord disappeared and the Ministry descended. They accepted the opportunity for a "parole" of sorts - freedom from Azkaban in exchange for excruciating weekly meetings with a member of the Wizenagemot who'd dig through their mind for secrets and experiment with their Mark for a way to use it to access other Death Eaters still in hiding. The meetings left them exhausted physically and mentally...but they also gave them a chance to meet the Wizenagemot's son/daughter.

It had been a long time since they'd met someone they didn't have to be afraid of. It had been a long time since they'd met someone they could see themselves caring about so much. And it had been a long, long time since they'd felt so profoundly unworthy.

I'm interested in how someone who has genuinely been a bad person and someone who isn't can connect - how do you reconcile someone who seems like a lovely human with something terrible they've done? How do you work past your sins to believe you'll ever deserve to be cared about again?

This might be a romantic love story. This might just be about seeing people as human. This might be a sprawling romance, or just a series of conversations taking place after the meetings. Who knows!

Premise: Summers in small, conservative towns are notoriously slow, queer kids in small towns are notoriously single, and young out-of-towners spending a summer with a family member or doing some condescending research project in town are notoriously a pain in every local ass. Put them all together, though, and there's a pretty good chance something's gonna happen.

I don't know what I'm looking for here. Maybe just a sweet little romance behind the KOA bathrooms, maybe a journey of self-discovery shovelling horse poop side by side, maybe something else.
