Lol funny.  I'm gonna try to get my class definition up again.  Go ahead and post as you will but hopefully I don't stupidly back out of it this time lol.  If I do, could someone else put it up so I don't chug my comp out the nearest window?  Thanks and here goes.

Prestige Class;  Sacred Prostitute

The sacred prostitute is a being dedicated to offering her body as a blessed vessel and "temple" to those who wish to show their appreciation and respect to the deities through the bliss of sexual congress.  The sacred prostitute is not a common streetwalker or tavern whore -- she is a devout worshiper who allows herself to become a sexual partner for any and all who enter the temples or seek her out in public.  Some sects reject payment for these services, though most do accept donations -- the sacred prostitute is slowed to keep a small amount for herself, while the remainder goes to the church's coffers, which is then used for charitable acts and the building of grander temples to their deity.  Not all requests for sex are granted, however, as the SP must believe that the "client" is true in their desire to commune with their deity trough the body of the SP.  Still, most SPs are happy to oblige nearly any request, regardless of gender, race, preferences, or creed,  Sects of SPs do exist, however, with their own very specific agendas, mixing their sexual services with a tangle of intrigue.  Many SPs glean a tremendous amount of information from the idle pillow talk that occurs before, during, and after their liaisons.  In addition to the obvious benefits having sex with a skilled, often beuatiful parnter, any clients that engage in sex with a SP may find other bonuses, including being healed of beilitating effects, damage, and even the restoration of spells lost through casting.  SPs are trained in a bewildering array of sexual techniques in order to please the tastes (however unusual) of those that seek them out.  Because of their connection with the divine, SPs enjoy an elevated status within the communities that they service.  As befitting the title, most sacred consorts come from the ranks of clerics, dedicated to deities of love, passion, and sex.  Beyond that, rogues and bards, who usually enjoy the pleasures of the flesh, as well as monks, who already regard their bodies as a sacred thing to be treated with respect.  SPs are typically affilated with a particular shrine or temple and rarely venture out from its erotic confines.  Still, others do travel the lands, offering themselves to strangers, commonly moving in small bands along with other classes that help protect the SP from the predations of those that do not respect their divine task.

well...i was basing the character off gomez addams (especially the raul julia verison)...so necropolitan swashbuckler just seemed to fit

Decrepitdan

So has everyone posted their character in the thread, and does everyone have a text-only character to post in the next thread? If everyone is ready I can get the actual OOC and game threads up, and then we can start discussing rules.

As an aside, did we decide on how the party knows each other?

Off Topic: I had a table top DM (once upon a time) with a weakness for chocolate.   It was odd how every game session a pound chocolate bar would mysteriously appear at the DM's seat.....

I think my character sheet is plenty clean.  I'll bump his HP up to max when we move to the OOC thread.

We've discussed that at least a few PCs know each other.

All you need is a plain text version to post up in the thread, once it's up Vergil. That way we will have an updatable resource others can read at will.

Vergil1989

Ok, so just remove all pictures and stuff like that then huh?  I'll copy and paste and try to edit so it's a bit more compact.

As long as you know where everything is, and it's readable to others - its all good.

WyzardWhately

My understanding is that Nyx has met and perhaps briefly traveled with Neria & Ilythyrra, or at least those are the players I've discussed it with.

Vergil: You've still got your attributes, saves, etc. listed twice.  And they're different...just edit out the version that's incorrect, and you'll be well on your way.

How does this look to you?  I've cleaned off the extraneous stuff, and a lot that I consider superfluous (you can look up your max drag weight if you ever actually need it.)  Your HP are fixed, assuming that Sacred Prostitutes get a D8 hit die.  You do need to pick one feat and some more equipment.  You can have pretty much any mundane stuff you want, I've made suggestions in parentheses.  If you take just that stuff, you should be ready to go, with a bit of gold left over.

Neria Zathreial
CG Elven Cleric 5/Sacred Prostitute 1
Deity; Corellon Larethian, Protection and War

General Appearance;  4 ft, 7 in  95 lbs  Long, almost shining gold blonde hair, (no blonde jokes please,) fairly tanned skin that adds an exotic appeal, and beautiful sea blue eyes that draw the eyes of all that look upon her fair face.  No scars mark her, for this will be her first adventure.  Despite this, the cleric has honed her body and mind to stand up to the challenge of the road and otherwise, giving her an appealing but muscular physique with very little fat to be seen upon her.

History;  Neria Zathrieal was orphaned at a young age.  Orc raiders slaughtered the temporary camp of her people during a half moon on a cloudless night.  Her mother had been wise enough to hide the young Neria inside a hollowed log that the orcs missed in their bloody frenzy.  Neria watched in silent horror as her own mother and many of her friends were relentlessly ravaged by the orcs before finally being put to their deaths.  The next day, those same orcs were slaughtered by human adventurers, and Neria had been taken to the nearest elven camp by the leader of the group, a cleric and very kind old man.  She had never gotten his name, but she would never forget his face, or the power he had to heal even the most fatal of wounds.  But some wounds could not be healed, those of the heart and mind.  Neria would forever be alone, even amongst those of her own kind.  But the young elven maiden did what she thought was right and followed in the man's footsteps, becoming a cleric that found it hard to form any kind of lasting friendships for fear of having said friends ripped away from her.  That, and because of what the orcs had done before being killed, Neria still holds a deep seated hatred of any of their kind.  Neria also cannot get intimately involved with anyone without feeling like having a panic attack, remembering all too clearly that horrible night all so long ago.  Because of this, Neria had begun study with the priestesses of Hanali Celanil to overcome her fears before she heard the call to arms and adventure.

You are a saint Wyzard.  I don't know how to thank you for the help.  Numbers are not my strong point, but I get by well enough.  As for the rest, I probably could have figured out but it would have taken far too long I know, so I can't thank you enough for doing all that.  It looks good except, and I am just curious, but wouldn't a flaming longsword take care of the need to have torches?  I don't mind I am just curious lol.  Also, I'll check the hit die thing to be sure, but I think you have it right since it's a Cleric offshoot in my case, not so sure if that's right but I'm guessing so.  I'll try to figure it out though to be sure.

No flaming longsword, sorry.  We're starting out cash-poor.  Magic items are above our pay-grade.  I'm sure you'll be able to locate one in-game if you really want to.  Your starting gold would be 700 GP, less whatever equipment you obtain.

Ouch, and ok, I'll work around it.  I was wondering on that lol.  I'm still trying to find her hit die, but I did find something useful I think.

To cast a spell, the SP must have a Charisma score of at least 10 + the spell's level.  All SP spells are based on Charisma, and saving throws against these spells have a DC of 10 + spell level + the SPs Charisma modifier (if any).  They cast spells just like a bard according to the book.

Hmm.  D6 HD for the sacred prostitute.  I fixed your starting hit points.  You should also pick one spell from the first-level spells on the sacred prostitute list.

Actually, the Aura of Sexual Ease is a 1st level spell for the SP.  I'll throw a thing up real quick to explain how it works.

At 1st Level, a SP radiates an aura that makes others feel more comfortable, especially in regards to sexual matters.  The SP adds her class level to all Bluff and Diplomacy checks that have a sexual component to them, including seductions, flirtations, and using sexuality to get her way.

The next level is 2nd level, Sexual Healing, but I'll add that when I get it.
