Chrome Extension/Plug In?

Once upon a time ago I had an extension (or plug in, not sure which it was) for Chrome that allowed me to use keyboard shortcuts for the text editing (bold, italics, underline, etc).  With Chrome reinstalled someodd moons ago I never put the plugin (or extension) back on and now I can't find it after futile search efforts.

Does anyone happen to know what extension (or plugin) this is?

Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but this extension has good reviews and seems to be something like what you're talking about.

Sadly not. =\  This one let me do it in the forums (which I should have specified in the first thread, sorry!) and that one does not.

Hehe. I gathered it was the desired effect, it was just some results from a quick search.

I'll keep an eye out for it, though. >_<

mmm, if your shortcut were something like ctrl+b for bold, ctrl+i for italic i think that is the default feature for the editor on E.
It's simple javascript that let you use shortcuts in the editor, if you can't get it work check the icons on the top of textarea, the second row, last icon, check if it's unchecked.
that could disable shorcuts sometimes...
