World of Darkness chat based RPGs

I don't know if this is the right place to post this.   I don't know if any of you remember the days when white wolf actually hosted chat based sand box RPGs.  Lately I've been feeling that need again,  but,  no matter what I can't seem to find anything that scratches that itch anymore.  Are there any out there anymore?  Or has everything moved on?  If anyone has any idea where to get my fix I'd really appreciate it if I could be poked in the right direction.

You'd be hard pressed finding a chat-based RP these days. I used to play VtM on IRC, but those channels all closed down because people moved to other things.
