Guys I will have the intro finished today! Baring anything taking me away. Then I will get everything linked as needed and those that are ready can start coming on and mingling in IC while we get everyone finished.

The set up for the group is done and can be found above! This is the start of the game and those finished with their character sheets can go ahead and post their coming into Loomworld.

So for most people what will have happened is that Peter and Otto (My Gm characters) will have approached them for a spot on the team. They were given inter dimensional watches to travel to the Web Warriors home base if they accepted.

If you'd like to have came aboard a different way please pm me your idea and I can see if it works or not.

Norsegod1839

The thread directory has been added in the main page

A tag system has been added to the IC room

For those currently in the character sheet room I am adding your names to the characters you are playing.

Norsegod1839

Okay! So those in the character sheet room already should have a presentation of themselves in said room

IE if you scroll down you will see a thing saying played by and a link to your profile.

Black Cat

The Basics
Legal Name: Felicia Hardy
Alias: Black Cat
Universe Designation: Earth-616
Age: 20
Gender: Female

Physical Description
Height: 5’10”
Weight: 120
Face Claim:
Jessica Nigri

General Appearance: Platinum blonde (nearly white in some lighting) hair, green eyes, fair skin, busty, toned everywhere else. Costume consists of a black catsuit (naturally), unzipped to varying degrees, and eyemask. Suit is very streamlined and form-fitting to minimize catching or snagging, and very smooth to assist with squeezing through crawlspaces. When wearing ‘casual clothes’, Felicia prefers casual, breeze athletic wear like sports bras, tank tops, yoga pants, or jean shorts, and black leather boots of varying coverage and heel height.

Personality and History

Personality

Extremely mischievous and covetous, Felicia’s morality is as flexible as her body. She is prone to find excuses why so-and-so doesn’t really need or won’t really miss such-and-such, and she’s more than a bit of a kleptomaniac. She’s also just naturally curious and voyeuristic, and enjoys sneaking into places or spying just for its own sake, to test her own skills or because curiosity killed the cat. She has a similar ‘what’s yours is mine’ attitude when it comes to others’ relationships and doesn’t give much of a thought to getting ‘in the way’ or ‘in between other people’ despite their previous loyalties.

Biography

Felicia’s father Walter Hardy was a world-reknown cat burgular, and Felicia has ended up following in his footsteps (pawprints?) although it wasn’t exactly what she dreamed of as a girl.

Originally, it was the drunk advances of frat boys in college that motivated Felicia to learn martial arts out of a mundane need for self-defense. One thing led to another, and Felicia learned acrobatics, indoor and outdoor climbing, segueing into some of her father’s more specific skills like lockpicking, some hacking, a silver tongue, and reading building blueprints.

She ended up ‘innocently testing’ her skills by breaking into places and stealing things that wouldn’t be missed...but it became a sort of addiction, and she ended up stealing more often, and things of more valuable (often rationalizing it as ‘the jewelry store was insured anyway’).

After crossing paths with Spider-Man during one heist and taking a liking to him, she made various efforts to use her skills for more purposeful pursuits, but she also had repeated fallings-out with the friendly neighborhood hero, over a number of matters...her looser morality, jealousy of Mary-Jane, and her lack of superpowers. Due to her lesser abilities and morals, she started to feel like a liability for Spider-Man, and distanced herself from him (and she was rejected from joining the Avengers in any case).

She eventually found a source of superhuman powers...sort of...but it turned out to be a trick by the Kingpin, and she found herself cursed with an aura of bad luck...and so did Spider-Man for awhile, due to this Black Cat crossing his path. Eventually, she sought the help of Doctor Strange, who identified her bad luck aura, and transmuted it into actually-useful ablitiies: heightened strength, agility, balance, vision, and retractable claws; she later learned to transmute her former bad luck into ‘tychokinesis’, a certain amount of ability to affect probability fields and cause bad luck to adversaries. (She also likes to use this for banana-peel style pranks.)

Superpowers & Equipment
Powers:

Heightened strength, agility, balance, vision, and retractable claws. Tychokinesis: The Black Cat is imbued with a genuine ability to cause "bad luck" by scientists working for the Kingpin through a bargain made with him. This power allowed her to subliminally affect probability fields, which would cause improbable, though not impossible, events of "bad luck" to occur to enemies within her line of sight.

Equipment:

Grapling Hook: The Black Cat has a miniature grappling hook device hidden in the "fur" of each glove, designed by her father Walter Hardy, which enables her to swing from buildings in a manner similar to Spider Man and Daredevil despite lacking the associated speed of either. She can also use the cable from this device as a tightrope, wall scaling device, swing line, or as a weapon in combat.

Electromagnetic Contact Lenses: Felicia wears contact lenses obtained by the Tinkerer that allows her to see in various ranges of the electromagnetic spectrum, such as infrared and ultraviolet light. When wearing these contacts, Felicia's eyes appear to have blue irises as opposed to the green irises that Felicia naturally possesses.[55]

Felicia also tends to keep on her person more ‘mundane’ cat burglar equipment such as lockpicks, a stethoscope used during safe cracking, a glass cutter, and small quantities of explosive powder for blowing out locks and hinges.

Skills

Skill Name:

SKilled at martial arts, acrobatics, climbing, and thieving skills such as lockpicking, safe cracking, looking for hidden doors and other architecture irregularities, and bluffing.

Her hair is usually kept under a black hairband. To the extent she can keep her hair neat, it is. For makeup, black eyeliner is a must. At times, she uses pink, red, or black lipstick. Her clothing is casual, formal, or punk. Regardless, her outfits usually have formal, feminine leanings.

Personality and History

Personality

Gwen is conflicted. She's half strict, half free. She has the morals of her police father, and the wild tendencies of her whimsical mother. In costume, she's snarky. Her replies are often quicker spoken than quick witted. She battles against being considered criminal. This can manifest in thoughtless attempts to correct her image. She's a mixture of spontaneous heroism and thoughtful rebellion.

Biography

In highschool, Gwen was bitten by a radioactive spider. This caused her to become Spider-Woman. She started acting on her powers. When she didn't, she played in a band. The band was called The Mary Jane's and she played drums.

Peter Parker, her classmate, died. He was inspired by Spider-Woman. His fascination caused him to experiment. As a result of his work, he turned into The Lizard. He rampaged. Spiderwoman | Arachne

The Basics
Legal Name: Julie Carpenter
Alias: Spider-woman, Arachne
Universe Designation:  Earth-696
Age: 26
Gender: female

Physical Description
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 140 lbs
Face Claim: Meggan Clay
General Appearance: Julie is a tall, fit, blonde woman with above average size breasts, who works out regularly.  She usually wears loose, cotton v-neck blouses to reveal a generous amount of cleavage with slacks that hug her hips tightly and flare out around her ankles with sensible flats on her feet.

Personality and History

Personality

Julia is a nice and average person, she tries to see the best in other people, but her life has been a series of bad decisions, trusting the wrong people.  She has recently discovered that she is attracted to women.  She has never been fully committed to the superheroine life, but have had it thrust on her by others and circumstances, fortunately she has always done the best she could to protect the lives of others.  She is not someone who can stand by and let others get hurt, if she could do anything about it.

Biography

Julia Cornwall was born and raised in Los Angeles, California . The daughter of Walter and Elizabeth Cornwall. She met and married her college sweetheart Larry Carpenter and together they had a daughter named Rachel.  This was one of her bad decisions, Julia discovered that her husband was cheating on her while she was carrying Rachel, she divorced him soon after having Rachel.  Julia moved out of Los Angeles and moved to Denver to start over, where she got a job in a high school as the gym teacher.

While in Denver, she reconnected with a college friend, Val Cooper and started to explore her sexuality, accepting that she was attracted to women.  Unbeknownst to her, Val worked for a secretive government group called the Commission that had decided to create their own superhero. Val Cooper met college friend Julia Carpenter in Denver, and convinced her to be part in an "athletic study". She was unknowingly a test subject in their experiments. During the experiment, they "accidentally" injected Julia with a mix of spider venom and exotic plant extracts, which gave Julia powers very similar to those of Spider-Man.  She joined Freedom Force, which was lead by Val Cooper and the Commission.  She was never comfortable with Freedom Force's methods and working with pardon super criminals and eventually she quit by helping the Avengers escape the Vault.

After leaving the Freedom Force, Julia was on the run from the government, to protect her daughter, she went to her ex and legally transferred parentship of Rachel to him.  While he was a cheating bastard, he was good with Rachel and she could trust him to raise Rachel right.  There was no way she was going to be able to while she was on the run from the government.

After that she worked with Iron Man, Spider-man, eventually joining West Coast Avengers and getting the warrant for her arrest dismissed.  She could now visit her daughter regularly and safely, but it was best for Rachel to be raised by Larry who had a stable job and life.

Superpowers & Equipment
Powers: Regular spider powers they have and then any.. extras.

Superhuman Strength: Julia possesses superhuman strength enabling her to lift at least 10 tons.

Superhuman Speed: Julia is capable of running and moving at speeds considerably greater than the finest human athlete.

Superhuman Stamina: Julia's musculature produces less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of an ordinary human. She can physically exert herself at peak capacity for several hours before fatigue begins to impair her.

Superhuman Agility: Julia's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of even the finest human athlete.

Superhuman Reflexes: Julia's natural reaction time is enhanced to a level that is beyond the natural physical limits of even the finest human athlete.

Superhuman Durability: The tissues of her body are somewhat harder and more resistant to injury than those of an ordinary human. While far from invulnerable, Julia is able to withstand impact forces that would severely injure or kill an ordinary human with only mild to moderate discomfort.[42]

Accelerated Healing Factor: If injured, Julia is able to recover from mild to moderate injuries somewhat faster and more efficiently than an ordinary human. She is capable of fully healing on her own in a matter of days that would require an ordinary human to undergo surgery. Julia is also physically immune to all known types of poisons.

Superhuman Sense of Touch: Julia's sense of touch is developed to the point that she can sense vibration like a spider on its webs. Her senses are so sharp, that she can detect a hollow area under a solid steel floor by walking over it.

Psionic Powers: Some of Julia's spider-like abilities are the results of developed psionic capabilities rather than her physical attributes.

Wall Crawling: She can stick to walls in a manner similar to Spider-Man, manipulating the inter-atomic binding forces of matter to create temporary but powerful molecular bonds between her body and whatever she touches.

Psionic Webbing: Julia can utilize psionic-based webbing (psi-webs). By using psychokinetic energy, she can bind ambient free-floating molecules into strands of solid force. Her psi-webs can be used to wrap enemies, or focused into narrow web-lines that she can swing from. Due to its psychic nature, her psi-webs can be used in ways Spider-Man's webbing never could, such as causing webs to form from a distance, or controlling the movement of her webbing mentally. She can create webs of psionic energy able to hold up to 10 tons when properly anchored.

Psionic Vibrations: By casting small strands of psionic webbing into her environment, Julia can feel "psychic vibrations" reverberating through them just like a spider can feel regular vibrations through their webs. This allows her to sense the presence of other people in her vicinity, pinpointing potential attackers over a distance.

Prescience: Julia is subconsciously connected to the great Web which gives her the ability to perceive aspects of the future.  She gets visions of what might happen in the future, although it is beyond her ability to actively control her visions.

Equipment: none

Skills

Skill Name:
Julia is a good hand-to-hand combatant, having been trained by the Commision and later on-the-job Avengers training.
Gym teacher
