Greetings!

Welcome to my request thread.  Feel free to check things out and contact me if anything sparks your interest. 

(Please note that this is my first request thread, so it will be a continual work in progress as I get things tweaked here and there.  Then I'll be updating it as I go along and threads are taken or my interests change.)

A Little About Me

I like a variety of things from fluff to story to porn.  Most often, however, I prefer plot over porn.  The sexy bits are fun and all, but it’s the story that grabs me and holds my interest.  I’ll be throwing out a few ideas later in this thread, but one thing I’d like to note is that most times I prefer some sort of a romantic involvement in my stories, even if it is mixed with other drama, intrigue, mystery, action, or what have you.  What can I say?  I’m a romantic.   ;D

Oh, and I guess I should also say I'm a hetero female who generally only plays females, so I'm looking for someone to play a male character.

What I'm Looking For

In regards to posts, I’m looking for someone creative and literate.  I’m not looking for perfect posts, but proofreading and spellcheck would be much appreciated.  In addition, I prefer quality over quantity, although I’d hope for an average of a few paragraphs per post.  I do understand that depending on the scenes, however, the posts might be shorter while others might be longer.

My posting frequency is generally once a week, usually on weekends.  Occasionally I can get more in during the week, but it usually depends what is going on with work and real life.  Often I read replies the day they are posted, but I don’t always get to reply until the weekends. 

Ons/Offs

I’ve gone through the list via the profile as best I can, but I’ll try to include a few things here as well.  However, if there is anything you might be interested in that isn’t listed in my offs, feel free to ask.  I’m fairly flexible, though this site makes me feel tame.

Interests & Pairings

I don’t really have many solid plots in mind just yet.  Most are just pairings and maybe a few basic ideas regarding some of them.  All plots, ideas and pairings are negotiable, so if you have an interest in an idea but want to change it up a bit – pairing or plot – I’m willing to consider the idea, just give me a shout. 

This section will give the things I’m interested in – genres, shows, games, etc. – and which pairings I’ve considered.  The next section will include any plot bunnies I’ve come up with.

Dragon Age
 

I’m craving this badly. This is a world I know fairly well – as in I’ve played through the games multiple times.  I have the books as well and one of these days I’m going to sit down and read them.  My favorite from Origins is Alistair, but my fav of all is Fenris, so if you’ve a hankering to play him, I’d probably melt on the spot.  :D

Anime

I’ve been watching a lot of anime lately and wouldn’t mind giving one of these a try.  While I do enjoy anime, I’m afraid my knowledge of it is fairly limited, so there are only a few shows here that I’ve gotten to so far. Also, I’m only listing the ones I feel I remember enough to work with.  Others, such as Gundam Wing, I did really enjoy, but it’s been so long since I’ve seen them that I can’t remember enough detail to write.

I’ve put these in craving order by show.

Plot Bunnies

Just some ideas I had.  Some have more to them than others, but all are negotiable – from genre to game to pairing, etc. so long as it stays within my ons/offs.

Dragon’s Fall – Sengoku Basara

This series was phenomenal and I absolutely crushed on Masamune Date.  He’s so a cocky fucker, bold and badass with a smart mouth that no one matches.  (The only one who might come close is Sasuke.)  And then there’s the fact he is ambitious and confident, honorable and loyal, trustworthy and courageous…I could go on for a while…

Anyway, I have a few avenues for pairing an OC with him, but haven’t firmed up on which I prefer.  I think the best fit would be a mouthier woman to match his wit and who will stand up to him, challenge him, where others may not.  He might not know what to do with her at first, or maybe he likes her spirit and

Option 1 – Similar to a Kenshin/Kasuga or Azai/Oichi storyline, she’s sent to kill him but falls for him instead and can’t fulfill her mission, etc.

Option 2 – She nurses him back to health during one of his “I just got my ass kicked” moments – strange how someone so badass is constantly getting hurt. 

Option 3 – Similar to the first idea, perhaps she blames him for something – like her village is razed, family member kidnapped or killed, maybe she’s the daughter of one of his rival kills, etc.  Maybe he did it, maybe not, but she thinks he did, so she goes to confront and/or kill him.  Perhaps he didn’t, but decides to find out who did, which could add in a bit of adventure and mystery.

Yeah, I’m leaning toward Option 3…

The Warden’s Lady – Dragon Age

This is an Origins plots that pairs Alistair with a non-warden Cousland.  She has the same noble intro in game, but she is never made a warden.  My idea is that she has some skill and can handle herself for the most part, but is nowhere near the skill of a potential Warden.  Perhaps she goes through everything with a brother or sister who is recruited as a Warden.  Over the course of the Origin quests, she and Alistair run into each other – Ostagar, Lothering, Denerim, etc.  At some point, she is found and taken by Howe and Alistair finds her in his dungeon toward the end of the game.  Perhaps she was with him for a while, raped, broken?  Or maybe she wasn’t there so long and Howe hadn’t gotten to her torture/death as yet when she’s rescued?  From there is the Landsmeet, where she’d stand for the Couslands lending support to the Wardens; Alistair and his group fighting the Archedemon; and then post game where he would propose or whatever.  (As a side, I’ve LOVE to have some scenes with her and Anora where Cousland hands that bitch queen her ass and then later Anora is given a horrible death.  I truly don’t like that woman…)

The first bits I see in flashes of scenes, perhaps one in Ostagar and one in Lothering then a bit where she’d kidnapped and into the rescue.  So the meat of the story would really take place in Denerim at the end of Origins from pre-Landsmeet to post-game.


More Than You Know – Tokyo Majin

I quite liked Tokyo Majin and would really like to do an Aio or OC with Kyouichi.  I like the whole good girl who likes the bad boy and bad boy who likes the good girl but treats her mean to cover it up complexity thing.  I’d even consider doing this out of the anime context. I just liked their interaction in the show and thought it was always so intense.  I imagine a lot of UST with those two that would be amazing when it finally explodes between them.  Mix in a little romance and some bits working with their powers, perhaps a little adventure or mystery to solve or something, and it could be fun.

(In case you can’t tell, I do like the dark, broody, silent types and badass, mouthy types.  The idea of being the one person to be able to penetrate that steely armor is thrilling.)
