Mad World or High Fantasy, seeking well rounded characters (m/m or m/f)

I have two story settings kicking around in my head right now, here they are:

Mad World
Set in the late 50's/60's, probably in a slick office setting. I'd prefer to play a lackey/secretary/junior character off an executive. In an M/F situation, I'd only be interested in playing the female character.

High Fantasy
Mostly a hankering for something involving quests and venturing. I'm really only seeking to play this storyline as an m/m scenario.
