group to solo game

Silly question I know but a group play was started a while ago, it was my idea but I wasn't the head of it.  But the head of it has not been around for a few months now.

Is there any way I can take two of the characters from that and make them solo?

Meaning I would like to continue it but not in that forum with only two of us posting. 
So should I cut and paste their interactions, there aren't tons of them or what would be the best way?

If it's not going to involve any of the other characters, then there's nothing wrong with starting up a new thread to continue your interactions.  If you want to keep it 'canon', you could link it to the original group thread and include a designation in your thread title indicating that it's still happening in that universe.  (Each group game is allowed up to twice as many threads as players, and chances are that the one you are in hasn't reached that limit - it's kind of rare for that to happen, actually.)

Hahaha I am sure the group game didn't reach any goals, it didn't last that long.  And everything was still in the main thread, no side ones made yet.  So just when I make the title for the new carry on one, tag the thread to the old one in it? 

As for the other characters, not sure they are around.  I put out a feeler to see if anyone wanted to continue or not and got nothing back. 

Not sure I know how to do that, haven't ever done it before.

That should do fine.  If you right-click the title of the last post, you can 'Copy Link Location'.  Then, on your first post in the new thread, put in [ url=link ]Continued from here[ /url ] (leaving out the spaces around the tags and pasting in your link where it says link.)
