Face Claim: Tashi Rodriguez
Name: Carmelita Violente Osorio-Lupton

Nickname: Violet

Gender: Female

Age: 19

Sexuality: Lesbian

Birthplace: Potternewton Hall, Leeds

Blood Status: Muggle-born
Muggle-Born Registration Number: 0021 - OSO/MB

Year: Repeating 7th
House: Hufflepuff

Wand: 8-7/8” Elm with a Dragon Heartstring Core – Confiscated
Patronus: Iberian Lynx - Cannot Conjure Anymore
Apparation license: Yes

Physical Appearance: Carmelita stands 5’6”. While she has recovered from the malnourishment she suffered in Azkaban seems thinner than she used to and frail.  The Muggleborn identification number on the back of her neck is hidden by curly shoulder-length hair only recently regrown from the shearing she underwent when she arrived at the prison. Carmelita has a face full of freckles she only occasionally hides with make up and the sweet ghost of a smile rarely seen since she returned to school.

Personality Traits: Sweet | Soft | Empathetic | Privileged | Self-Deluding | Scared | Jumpy | Lonely

Personal History: Carmelita was born into the world of the landed gentry and the idle rich. Her father and mother walked the line between notable and uninteresting. An aura carefully cultivated to keep them out of the paparazzi’s eye while enjoying the fruits of their birth status.

Carmelita wanted for nothing as a child and was raised by well-paid nannies and tutored by the finest private instructors. When Carmelita was eight, she attended the prestigious Cheam School until her magical ability manifested at the age of 10, and she was removed from the school over the incident. Her parents never said as much, but they must have been relieved when an owl delivered Carmelita’s invitation to Hogwarts. Carmelita’s magical occurrences stressed her parents curated social profile. Making their lives difficult. Assurances that Hogwarts was the paramount school for young witches and wizards and that they could teach Carmelita ways to control and prosper were all her Parents needed to send her off to the school.

Carmelita was wholly unprepared for what she would face at Hogwarts. She had been doted on her entire life. Servants carried her bags, laid out her clothes, and drew her bath. By nature of her station, people were falling over themselves to ensure she wanted nothing. The air of royalty swirled around her every interaction, and she was detested for it. Here she was a mud-blood. Her royal muggle blood meant nothing. In fact, it was reviled in some quarters. Thrown into a world with no touchstone or anchor had her completely unbound, and hard lessons were learned. Because of this, she struggled mightily. Her grades suffered as she suffered. Not even Muggle Studies was the oasis other muggle-borns found. She knew how to be noble. She knew how to be a young lady. She didn’t know the things taught in Muggle Studies. They were things commoners did, not Ladies.

Carmelita was an easy target for so many of her fellow students. Muggle commoners hated her because she was a member of the nobility and could take those frustrations out on her with little fear of reprisal. Purebloods mocked her mercilessly and tormented her for her blood status. Her life at Hogwarts was torment for the first few years, settling into persistent bullying and simmering distaste when she eventually shed her highbred ignorance. It was hard to imagine her life worsening, but Voldemort and the rest of his Death Eaters had other plans.

Carmelita was one of the earliest students to be rounded up and thrown into Azkaban. The Death Eaters went so far as to obliviate the memory of her from her parents’ minds. Carmelita died in an accident. That is what the family believed and what the papers said. Carmelita never knew who the girl was that they buried. An innocent muggle, most likely. The liberal use of magic and a strand of hair ripped from Carmelita’s head was all that was needed for a body double buried in the family crypt.

Carmelita was tormented at first. Her head was shaved. Her familiar tortured and killed in front of her, and she was beaten. The abuse was an everyday occurrence at first until more muggles joined her. Eventually, she was just forgotten. Carmelita survived on bugs, rainwater, and whatever she could beg from others as the nearby cells filled with muggle-borns and half-bloods.

The end of the war only brought another round of injustice. The Ministry of Magic felt it would be best to not reverse the obliviate spell on her parents. The sudden appearance of a muggle noble family’s abused and broken daughter would undoubtedly cause problems for muggle and magical relations. It was cleaner to leave them as is and move on.   Moving on was best for everyone, they told her with a kindly pat on her shoulder.

Carmelita is a ball of PTSD that started well before she was rounded up and tossed into Azkaban. She is jumpy and scared and still feels like the biggest outsider in a world that makes little sense. That said, Carmelita still tries, in her sad, fearful way, to help others, often without them knowing it. She is, by nature, kind and giving and appreciates every kindness or gift she receives because she knows it can all be taken away in an instant.

I love the story setup here, if there is still room for another character I can hopefully put figurative pen to paper this weekend.  So many great characters already!

Hello, I'd like to express interest if their is room for one one more, heh.

My character concept runs with the theme of the trauma inflicted by Voldemorts' rule, but with a slightly different twist if that is acceptable.

Character Concept

May or may not be male. Though could as easily end up a lass.

Unlike most others, the character escaped being captured by virtue of being a fighter and having the fortune of joining with a small band of other wizards/witches who resisted Voldemort's rule. They did a lot of hiding, but fought when opportunity struck or otherwise felt the odds were in their favor. Character suffered trauma through the horror's of war. Witnessing ugly acts, seeing death, seeing companions suffering/doing dark terrible things to survive, and character having personally killed and dealing with the burden of having taken life (even if said individuals were despicable people to begin with), as well as not knowing how many friends were dead or alive at the time, and struggling with the feeling of being suddenly lost in a world that no longer made sense.

Thus while character may not have suffered in Azkaban, the character was still heavily impacted in similar ways. Now having to mostly likely deal with PTSD and coming to terms with ending a life. Plus the banality of living a life that while now more "peaceful" is ultimately alien and distant feeling.

Face Claim: Lorena Andrea
Name: Ona Tamerlaine

Nickname: n/a

Gender: Female

Age: 19

Sexuality: Pansexual

Birthplace: Carlisle, England

Blood Status: Half-blood
Muggle-Born Registration Number: n/a

Year: 7th - Repeating
House: Slytherin

Wand: Acacia, Kelpie Hair, 12 and 3/10 inches, slightly pliable (lost in fight with Death Eaters)
Patronus: Bat
Apparation license: Yes

Physical Appearance: Ona has a gently tawny complexion with a long mane of thick, dark hair, strong, almost chiseled features, dark brown eyes and a long limbed, athletic form that stands 5’8” tall, but seems even taller given the lean and limber form she possesses.

Personality Traits:

Adventurous – She is always seeking something new, or very old, to explore, discover, experience.

Curious – Once something or someone catches her eye and interest she has to know and learn more, always more.

Accepting – Ona never truly held pre-conceived notions about others to be judgmental even if she wanted to be and always seeks variety and divergence over similarity and familiarity.

Passionate – Her passions used to always be positive and focused on things she found joy in, but Ona now knows this part of her has its dangers as well.

Reckless – This used to apply as an extreme form of her curious and adventurous nature, but she has since discovered that she can be emotionally careless and reckless in ways that might hurt others

Distrustful – A new trait that applies more to questioning her own judgment and sometimes oblivious nature that makes it hard to trust herself, much less others.

Personal History: Ona was born, or so she and the world believed, to Oskar and Helena (Barnham) Tamerlaine, her parents were themselves children of two prominent wizarding families. The Barnham’s were of English blood that could trace their line back to the Roman occupation of Britain, for generation after generation living just south of what had once been Castle Carlisle, a powerful fortification along the western edge of Hadrian’s Wall.  The Tamerlaine blood was newer to the Isle, Ona’s great grandfather having emigrated from Gibraltar later during the muggle’s colonial expansion and empire.  Well to do and aggressive social climbing upstarts, the Tamerlaines integrated themselves into ‘pureblood’ wizarding society through arranged marriages with older English lines, hence the pairing of Oskar and Helena.

Ona was the only child that the pairing produced, and that only after Helena suffered several miscarriages amid whispered talk that she may have been burdened by a curse causing infertility.  Her family’s fortune was oft gained as the result of her one of her family’s dealings with powerful creatures and practitioners of magic that was unsavory, yet profitable.  Growing up Ona knew little of this, doted on by both of her parents, but especially her Father whom she so strongly took after physically, she never questioned who she was and where she came from, instead focusing her seamlessly inexhaustible energy into exploring the old Wall, the woods, and seaside nearby, ancient ruins and natural wonders each offering an irresistible challenge to explore.

Her letter from Hogwarts was celebrated with a magical social event that Ona did her best not to be at the center of, never seeking the social attention and status that her extended family craved.  Her parents seemed oddly worried and talked to her often about the Sorting Hat being finnicky at times and not to worry about which House she was placed into. Ona thought them silly and nervous as she was ever certain that like all of her living relatives she would indeed become a Slytherin.  Usually fearless almost to her own detriment, during the sorting ceremony Ona thought she heard the Sorting Hat mutter something about Hufflepuff, which shocked and frightened her to the point that she began quietly chanting ‘Slytherin’ and true to her hopes, moments later Ona was joining Slytherin House.

Ona made friends, not a large or prominent group, just people who seemed to share her passions and interests in things like quidditch, at which she excelled as a beater, and exploring and seeking out lore and history and magical creatures that were everywhere to be found if one looked relentlessly enough.  She paid far too little attention to political things or whispers of the Dark Lord returning, cared nothing about blood status of herself or the friends with whom she studied and adventured,  Ona’s insatiable curiosity and thirst for adventure landed her in trouble at times, but overall she gained Slytherin House far more points than she caused it to lose.

She barely noticed those obnoxious sorts in her House, the ones that crowed out their family name and accolades at every turn, that derided her, most often from a safe distance and behind her back, at being a “Huff in Slytherin scales.”  Even as the world begin falling into turmoil, with war on the horizon or already begun and massive changes at school and in the world, Wizarding and muggle worlds alike, her only concern was for her friends in other Houses and how worried they were about their families and selves…until her own world crashed down and apart with a horrible quickness.

Called home and allowed to leave emergently early in her seventh year, a shaking Ona arrived just after her Mother passed, victim of a tragic accident, a true accident, not the feigned catastrophes that befell muggle borns everywhere.  Fragile, gentle and elegantly beautiful, Helena’s love of horses and riding was also her undoing.  Torn to pieces by grief, Ona tried to find solace knowing her Mother passing doing what she loved…and in seeking that solace she spent time with her Mother’s things just before heading back to Hogwarts, and there, hidden in the false bottom of a drawer, she found it.  The Diary.  Not some dark magic filled tome like the Diary of Tom Riddle, but more painful and destructive to Ona alone, because it held the raw truth and bitter lies that her entire life was built upon.

Ona was a secret, or so her Mother wrote in that diary Ona was never meant to see, a secret treasured by her Mother and a creature who existed only because of her Father’s romantic transgressions.  Ona discovered that she was the bastard child of Oskar and a muggle identified only as ‘Vanna’ in that diary. Ona discovered she came to be as the result of an illicit affair and how all of that had been covered up and her biological Mother’s memories just after being Ona was born, and how the entire wizarding world, and Ona herself, were deceived into believing she was the pureblood child of Oskar and Helena Tamerlaine…not a half-blood bastard with a birth Mother who no longer remembered Ona even existed.

Without reading the full story Helena had written in her dairy, Ona sent a hastily scrawled bunch of words and thoughts, some accurate, many far from so, onto a scroll and ill-advisedly sent it off via owl to a ‘friend’ back at Hogwarts.  Whether the friend spilt the secret of Ona that she no longer cared to keep anyway, or more likely the owl was intercepted as so many were in those days didn’t matter.  The message was discovered and damage done because of Ona’s careless, blind anger, that much was undeniable.

The next day, just after dawn, six Death Eaters arrived, quietly and unseen at first, arriving even as Ona screamed hateful things at her Father on the expansive lawn near her home.  No matter how many times he tried to calm her, to get her to listen, to explain, Ona would no allow it.  With a hastily filled bag of things over her shoulder and intending to run away to no place in particular, she had actually drawn her wand threateningly against her Father just as the first of the them attacked.  Muggle borns were being rounded up en masse everywhere, but this was different.  Ona was a living crime worse than simply having muggle blood running in her veins, she was a crack in the obsidian armor of blood purity, a fraud and interloper and now a suspected agent of the Resistance.  Not based on anything she had done, but simply because her tainted-blood secret had now been spilled into the open and she was guilty of simply existing, at least until that could be remedied.

A vicious and swift duel ensued, with Ona reacting more on instinct than thought and emotion, she fought alongside her Father who had drawn his own wand and immediately defended her.  Very skilled with charms and portal magic, Oskar was far from an accomplished duelist and the last act Ona saw and felt him perform was turning his wand on her as the Death Eaters closed in, his spell hitting her just as his own life was ended by the killing curse. That last moment frozen forever in her mind’s eye.  She found herself cast and teleported into a hot and sunny countryside she did not recognize, her own wand lost in the battle or the teleport, she was never sure which.

Ona lived out the rest of the war against Voldemort in exile in a small seaport in Portugal where her Father had teleported her to.  Refugees arrived there daily, secreted aboard everything from fanciful pleasure yachts to grimy fishing trawlers or arriving at a concealed portkey powered by the same magic Ona’s Father used to save her life.  From the day her Father died until the fall of Voldemort and the Death Eaters, she stayed there working as part of an underground railroad of sorts for muggle borns and others escaping the horrors of the war.  Since the end of the war and the fall of the Dark Lord, Ona returned to find her former home in ruins, blackened and broken, the Tamerlaine family line wiped out, save for herself, with the remaining Barnham family having disowned her for political cover.

Ona is now returning to school, trying to discover the truth of her identity, her life, and to deal with the deep guilt she now possesses after learning the full story of how her Father loved both of her Mothers and Ona deeply.  He was a flawed, complicated man, a Slytherin quietly helping muggle borns escape capture, or worse, and one pushed into an arranged, if very amicable marriage by his overbearing parents.

Ona’s Tamerlaine grandparents were the ones who pulled every string in covering up the scandal that Ona could have been when she was conceived and born into the world.  Their manipulations were horrible and brilliant at once, creating their lie of who Ona was supposed to be and wiping away the rest. The life Ona had lived, loved and encouraged to be herself by the only parents she ever knew was a happy one, but all of that, like her birth Mother, is gone now.  Ona has never shed a single tear for the loss of her grandparents but knows that her reckless and impetuous temper cost her Father his life, and for that she can never forgive herself.

Family:
Helena (Barnham) Tamerlaine – Adoptive Mother/Pureblood – 42 (deceased)
Oskar Tamerlaine – Father/Pureblood – 43 (deceased)
Vanna ?? – Biological Mother/Muggle – approximately 35-40, obliviated, status and location unknown
Andriel Tamerlaine – Paternal Grandmother -62 (deceased)
Gavel Tamberlaine – Paternal Grandfather – 65 (deceased)

Likes: Sports/Outdoors –Old ruins and forests, the creepier the better – Unusual creatures, magical or not – Music and ice cream are her mood medicine – Flying
Dislikes: Arithmancy/Divination – Long winded lectures – Politics – Judgmental people – Repetitive routines - Elevators

Strength: Ona relates powerfully to animals and creatures of all kinds, having an instinctive bond that is formed more easily than those with people.
Weakness: Moderate, bordering on severe claustrophobia affects Ona with anxiety attacks and avoidance of closed in and/or thickly crowded places and apparating is something she barely mastered, and rarely uses, because it often sets off her claustrophobia into a tizzy.

On's and Off's: Ona’s first romance and only boyfriend (and fellow student) was more or less puppy love at 15 to a breakup at 16.  Her only true adult lover was a muggle girlfriend she dated while in exile, a years Ona’s senior, whom she parted amicably from upon returning to England from Portugal.  Ona is a physical creature who craves affectionate touches, kissing and tactile sensations, but beyond amorous, exhausting lovemaking her sexuality is still developing and is mostly vanilla for now.

Extra: Nothing yet.

Face Claim: Neels Visser

Name: Noah Evans
Nickname: Evan(s), Blue, Dragon or Blue Dragon (got it from his Patronus)

Gender: Male
Age: 18
Sexuality: Heterosexual

Birthplace: Leeds, England
Blood Status: Half-blood
Muggle-Born Registration Number: None
Year: Repeating 7th year
House: Ravenclaw

Wand: Aelder Heart | 16 in, Alder, Dragon Heart-string, unyielding despite a few shallow gashes born of war (Still has wand)
Patronus: Sea or Blue Dragon Slug (has trouble consistently summoning his Patronus)
Apparation license: Yes

Physical Appearance: Noah is what some might consider a more classically handsome man. Bearing no exotic looks, yet exuding a natural confidence and charm. He is 5'11”, blonde hair and blue eyes with just a touch of a tan. Noah is physically fit and possessing a defined physique. He wears his medium-short hair swept back or loose.

He has a few scars on his body that were inflicted by dark wizards during his many fights. Dark memento's of a sort. Both solemn memories and a twisted pride he sometimes acknowledges. He won. They didn't. The only immediately noticeable scar is on the left side of his neck. Slender, and fading as if something cut into the neck, only to move past and away.

Personality Traits: Brave | Intellectual | Pragmatic | Dedicated | Strong Willed | Adventurous | Fun Loving | Broody | Frustrated

Broody: This is not a trait he is given to commonly, but in especially quiet moments or times that trigger memories, he can grow broody. Stuck in a cycle of reliving past trauma, second guessing old decisions, and dealing with a life he doesn't always recognize any longer.

Frustrated: Why do people want to just act like nothing happened? Voldemort did so much harm. That isn't something to be ignored.

Personal History: Noah was born to a Pureblood father and a Muggle mother. His father, Archibald Evans, was unlike many wizards, a man who could blend seamlessly into both worlds. A trait passed down to Noah and one nurtured, to ensure his son never struggled to understand either side. Thus, Noah grew up appreciating both the 'mundane' and the magical.

When he received his acceptance letter into Hogwarts, his father was none the least surprised. Having already primed Noah on what to expect and teaching him anything that wouldn't break any underage magic laws. Archibald came from a modicum of wealth, more than most – though far from rich – and showed no compunction about using it to ensure his son was well prepared for the life that lay ahead of him.

And well prepared he was, at least for the life of a student. Noah did well. Devoting himself to studies and doing exceptionally well in practical application. Which marked him as the ideal Ravenclaw. Then at other times, his propensity for standing up for others, would make some wonder why he hadn't been sorted into Gryffindor. Consequently, Noah had a smallish following of sorts. Consisting mostly of those whom he'd protected from bullies or those who simply admired and or crushed on him.

As the years passed, Noah grew more focused and increasingly concerned. He'd heard all the rumors about dark wizards, Death Eaters, and Voldemort himself. He didn't always understand what was going on, but he knew it wasn't good. Always rational, pragmatic, Noah realized he had to do something in his own way. Already a natural with several subjects, he doubled down. Narrowing himself to only that which he felt might be sufficient to protect himself and his friends. While other subjects, he intentionally or through simple neglect, began to let fall by the wayside. Attempting to arm himself, as he'd say on occasion, for the dark cloud looming ominously ahead.

Despite this, Noah remained a friendly sort, open for fun and adventure, and loved the magical world. Though, those closest to him, would notice the change from a youthful scholar to that of one preparing for the worst.

Unfortunately, when the worst came, not even Noah's preparations proved entirely adequate. As was often said, book knowledge cannot trump actual in the dirt experience. Noah knew an impressive repertoire of spells and other knowledge, by the time open war came, but facing actual flesh and blood people wishing to do him and others harm, proved a starkly horrifying revelation. Noah managed to stand tall, showing signs of his natural instincts and capability as a duelist, but not without a few near death instances.

Its hard to say what exactly would have happened to a fighter like Noah, but the timely intervention of a small group of witches and wizards who were fighting back cemented his course. They took him in, impressed with his fighting spirit and capability. He happily joined. Though any happiness evaporated, as his reality became plain and ugly. War was nasty. Even the good guys sometimes did things that were repugnant. All in the name of survival and trying to defeat an enemy far far worse.

And the ugly truth of war would claim him, too. When one day, he was scouting a small village believed to still harbor snatchers and some lesser Death Eater members, he came upon a scene forever burned into his memory. A dirty, ill-kept, Snatcher ripping the clothing off a young teen girl. The intent was clear and Noah found himself horrified, disgusted and then enraged. That man would be the first death placed upon his conscious.

When the war ended, Noah had come away seeing much of the worst the world had to offer. Without a cause, the people he'd lived, survived, and fought alongside evaporated away. It left him confused. Even feeling perhaps abandoned. Suddenly bereft of the only friends he thought were still alive, he didn't know what to do.

Spending time with his parents, whom he'd earlier begged to flee the country, had only helped a little. When the chance to return to Hogwarts came, he accepted in the hopes that a return to some normalcy might help. Yet, the bumbling government under Shacklebolt did little to inspire his confidence.

Family: Shortly after the war began openly, Noah begged his family to flee the UK. Since he refused to do anything but fight, he feared the Death Eaters would retaliate against them. Reluctantly, his family relented to his wishes and left the UK. Only returning once he told them it was safe to return.

Likes: Learning (especially learning new magic, spells, etc) | Outdoors | Adventure | Flying | Mentally and Physically stimulating activities
Dislikes: Being interrupted while actively learning | Unnecessarily noisy people | Wasteful people | Having to hide | Distrust/Hatred for Muggles
Strength: Quick learner and level headed. These traits are chiefly what helped keep Noah alive.
Weakness: Can over prioritize to the detriment of something else | PTSD

Familiar: Had an Eastern Screech Owl named Argus, but Argus is presumed lost or dead.

On's and Off's: My O/O's page is still under construction, as my old one had been woefully out of date.

Suffice it to say, Noah has more or less the usual experience as a young man his age, is curious to learn more, but with the realities of war and continuing on with life, sex isn't high on his list of pursuits. Though, he might not turn it down if the opportunity arises.

Otherwise: Vanilla, Light-bondage, oral, outdoor sex, and some other things. Can grow into more niche/kinkier things if expanded in that direction.

Off's: Bathroom play, scat, vore, golden shower, etc.

Extra: Noah would like to learn both Ligillemency/Occlumency, non-verbal magic, and create his own spells. Achieving all or some of these goals is currently seen as an expression/extension of who he has become, as well as simply useful tools for his future.

While he has no desire for a government job as a Legillimens, he's considered doing it freelance. For the time being, he sees himself following in his fathers footsteps, however. Becoming a Potions Master. Either taking over his fathers business in time or creating his own.
