"A foul smell detected in parts of England and Wales is being blamed on easterly winds bringing farming or industrial smells across the Channel.

Labelled "Euro-whiff" by the Met Office, the source of the smell - alternately described as sulphur and manure - is under investigation."

Coming froma rural area, we just assumed that this was another farmer muck spreading in the fields, (though it is just a little late for that now) and get that 'country smell' quite often.
It wasn't until we turned on the news that we realised that there was more to it....
It's been fun, but Elvi has now left the building

Jester

I cant smell it. Can you smell it where it in the East of England?

Elvi

There's a map with the article.
It's been reported as far north as Durham and as far south as Pembry South Wales....
