What order should I watch Star Wars in?

I had always figured that Luke being one of the people that saved Leia gave him more of a ticket into the rebels. That and the fact he was friends with another rebel pilot back on Tatooine. I believe it was Biggs...

After watching I definitely recommend dipping into the novels, there are some good ones. There is even one I liked about how the Death Star was built as seen through the eyes of some that worked on or in it. Just avoid Vector Prime for as long as possible. R.A. Salvatore does his thing of killing off a loved character in it....

I know I'm going to probably get crucified for this, but I kind of like II the best of all the prequel movies. The reason being... well... just bring in the clones.
