Demons aren't on that list, hun.  We need a little bit more diversity to truly cover all our bases.

Come to me, just in a dream. Come on and rescue me.
Yes, I know. I can be wrong. Maybe I'm too headstrong.

Corinthi

The Fisher King doesn't feel so strongly about the Dragonblooded, although it is irritating when they scream Anathema and attack. They're certainly irritating, but they haven't done a lot to directly raise his ire.

No, wait.  I retract this.  We have an anti-Lintha soul.

Yup, that's me. But he doesn't hate demons as much as he respects the good summoners... ;D

Well, you could hate demons, then, if it becomes necessary... :P

Demons are clearly in league with the Silver Prince. *hack-hack-hack*

I'm open to having a Lunar mate if no one more familiar with Exalted takes you up on it, Rhapsody. We can work out how/if we met and how we feel about each other.

Surely there's something I need to fix above, but this is my first Exalted Character, so I'm happy hearing what I missed. Basically, I was shooting for a Swashbuckling Ship Captain who could dive into the middle of an enemy ship and rock everything within sword's reach.

Oh!  Right!  Something you could add, so you can track everything easier.

Mark your Caste and Favored abilities.  And what Caste are you again? :)

First come, first serve, as far as I'm concerned.  That'll work for me just fine. Kohl of course is going to be influenced in her feelings to her mate by how strong her Solar Bond is (at rank 3, you just can't help being their best friend or lovers, even if you hate their guts), but there's no such compunction on the part of the Solar. :)

From the looks of it,  particularly with a character who has an issue with the Lintha pirates an infernal character seems less and less likely fitting into the group.  I think I might just go with a Dawn cast solar...  big big big hammer included.

Eclipse Caste. Should have marked that. The first 5 Favored skills were from the Caste. They're marked more clearly now.

I'll send you a PM with more details about my character and we can work out how we met.

I'm going to retract my interest as I've joined a few other games and it doesn't look like I'll have time for this. Not like this game's hurting for players  :D.

Good luck!

Thanks! And good luck with your games  :-)

I had a feeling this would happen. But we both knew that infernals are hard to be in a group.
Love the big hammer! ;D

ONS/OFFS

The Great Triangle

Ah, Exalted!

The game where roleplaying consists of defining who you hate mindlessly and kill on sight!

;D

I'm probably going to Play an Eclipse cast or Daw cast that usees twin baldes. Is there a Martial Arts style that allows that?

The Great Triangle

Fire Dragon style is all about this, and can be practiced in armor.

The bad news; it's an immaculate style, so you'd need to somehow convince an immaculate monk to teach it to you.

Is there another style in the Book of the Monk?

Elohim

Nope, no other blade based dual weilding charms.

Paladin

well shit. That ruins my only idea I was liking.

Elohim

If you don't mind using tereestial martial arts I think there's one.

I want to say that Devil Style let's you use a gun and sword in both hands.  Not real certain though.

Take a hefty Mentor and ask Blaze if you could have learned Fire Dragon Martial Arts from your mentor?

Just use Melee charms and don't worry about Martial Arts?

I have a Dawn Caste dual-wielder in a tabletop game.  Trust me, with the right combo, you can blow past any martial arts you may encounter... with the possible exception of SMA.  Even as pricey as combos gets. ^_^

Well... just my example from her combo list:

Righteous Wrath of Heaven
Cost: 17+m, 1wp
Charms: First Melee Excellency, Peony Blossom Technique, Hungry Tiger Technique

Peony Blossom Technique allows you to buy up to your Essence (or Dex, I can't recall which exactly) +1 in extra attacks without suffering multiple action penalties.  The First Melee Excellency lets you increase by up to double your relevant dice pool each attack.  Hungry Tiger Technique doubles all your pre-soak attack successes for calculating damage.  I used this combo in-game against a full brotherhood of akuma Dragon-Blooded and dropped three of them flat and badly injured a fourth before they could make their initial attacks.  It's expensive as hell, since you have to buy the First Melee and Hungry Tiger for every attack (if you want the benefits), but it's so bloody effective it's basically an IWIN button.  I don't even use it anymore, unless it's truly life or death, because there's just no point to whipping it out on anything less than something that's otherwise guaranteed to kill me.

For reference, my Dawn is Ess 3, Dex 3, Str 3, Melee (Daiklaves +1) 5, orichalcum reaper daiklave in one hand paired with a Chiaroscuran glass khopesh in the other.
